i hope the makers of caliphate netflix will sued the kerala story producers and why you defend the kerala story, do you know Vipul Amrutlal Shah was supported bjp, i know you will furious but you need understand that shah is making money for bjp and you need find real truth on kerala because you are north indian, you will visit kerala to show real side
What do the creators of Caliphate have to do with The Kerala Story? Both are raising the same issues which should be brought to the limelight but the respective makers are not intersected in any ways whatsoever. What reason would they have to sue any people associated with any film ecosystem?
Now; our prime minister, along with the BJP, did uplift the movie in Karnataka. So? What's the issue with that? AK often tweets about movies, rates them and even makes some of them tax free in Delhi whenever he wishes. So, if the country's leader himself is appropriating the masses by mentioning such important ventures, then what exactly is so horrifying about that?
It might come as a shock to you, anon, but the background activities done by the creators of the film is of the least concern to me unless they harm our Nation and its integrity. Plus, do you have any substantial testimony of the allegations you are putting on Vipul Amrutlal Shah? From where exactly did you get this information? Why will I believe a supposed claim coming from a completely unreliable source? Hand over the authentic sources, I will happily believe them.
"because you are north indian" What precisely is that supposed to mean? I live in north India so I am completely ambiguous about the ongoings of the other regions? What you need to get a-fix in your mindset is that one does not need to visit a state to know the reality. Because unlike you, dearest anon, some of us do our due research. We do not believe cockamamie conspiracy theories spewed on the internet.
It's deranged how you think I would get furious when you clearly cannot stand anything that is said against your judgement, anon. You want evidence about the girls converted and sent to ISIS from Kerala?
Fathima (pre-conversion name : Nimisha), Mariyam (pre-conversion name : Merrin Jacob), Ayisha (pre-conversion name : Sonia Sebastian. Yasmin Zahid, who recruited many youths from Kerala and sent them to Afghanistan, is now sentenced to jail.
I'm sorry but the "real side of kerala" you kindly mentioned is right here. Aforementioned and open. A little advice, anon? Say whatever you want, but believe what you see. These myriad victims might just be statistics for us but they are suffering. This is an ongoing process. And it'll only begin to decline when we acknowledge this.

As someone that converted to Roman Catholicism back in 2018/2019, having primarily grown up in an atheist household. And as someone that is now currently undergoing the process of inquiring into Orthodoxy:
Converting to a faith or changing denomination or questioning your faith is always going to feel scary. There is never going to be a time where it feels like the perfect moment. There are always going to be doubts and feelings of uncertainty, and a voice in your head telling you that you shouldn't do it, sometimes there might even be a lot of pain involved. But that doesn't mean that you're doing the wrong thing.
Prayer to me felt so foreign and strange to me, for such a long time. But it didn't always stay that way. Attending Church for the first time felt terrifying, but you do get used to it and you do begin to feel like this is something you belong to. Reading Scripture and other theological texts was such a challenge, I didn't know where to begin, and I was often terrified that I was 'reading it wrong'. But that feeling doesn't stay around forever.
As much as traditions of the Church might be unknown to you, and as much as you might feel an outsider for not knowing them. Over time, you do begin to learn about them more and feel more comfortable participating in them. You're not always going to be on the outside looking in. And if you've been in this position, and now find yourself within the Church, you can be such a strength and a comfort to those also entering into the Church. Never be frightened to admit that you were a convert, or to admit that at one point you were a cradle Christian that didn't know anything about Christianity, or to admit that you've ever questioned your faith. There are so many people that can benefit from your experiences.
If you don't know where to begin with coming to the faith, then reach out to a local Priest. If you don't know who to turn to with questions about doubts in your faith, then reach out to your Priest. The best time to start that journey is today, not in some hypothetical future where everything is perfect. Send that email off to the Priest with your questions about the faith. Put aside all of your excuses, and make those first steps in your journey.

"Those people believe x. We know they're wrong because y, but here's how they got to this point."
"So you think x!"
"No, I'm explaining what they think."
"You're making excuses for it and arguments that support it!"
"I'm laying out the arguments they give. I'm not making them, I'm showing them. I broke down why it's wrong and how it became a prevalent view."
"You're an x-apologist!"
Right, sorry, my mistake. Those people don't have a distorted worldview that leads them to cruelty, they're just evil by nature, their essence is darkness and violence, there's no humanity in them, go ahead and fantasize about wiping out whatever population you marked as bad. Didn't mean to interrupt your fantasy. I can see you're quite attached to it. Go on, advocate for whatever useless violence you think should happen in retaliation. I thought violence should be a horrible but sometimes-necessary tool, but it can be a goal, that's fine too. Everyone needs a dream I guess.

Idk if I should be flattered when Christians comment on me being a sweet person as reason for trying to “help” (convert) me, infuriated that they’re probably just using that as a manipulation tactic, or even more infuriated that I can’t trust good-natured Christians because there are so many deceptive and controlling Christians doing the same things.

UP man befriends married Dalit woman on Facebook, converts her after eloping; arrested
A man in Uttar Pradesh’s Siddharthnagar befriended a married woman belonging to a Dalit family on Facebook, eloped with her and forcibly converted her. The main accused has been arrested, along with five others.
A case of unlawful religious conversion has come to the fore in the Mishrauliya police station area of Uttar Pradesh’s Siddharthnagar district.
A man befriended a married woman belonging to a Dalit family on Facebook, eloped with her and converted her to Islam.
The accused has been arrested, along with five others, and booked under sections 504 and 506 of the IPC, the SC/ST Act, and relevant provisions of Uttar Pradesh’s anti-conversion law, the Deputy Police Superintendent of Siddharthnagar said.
Shailesh Kumar got married to Lakshmi four years ago. However, on the night of May 31 this year, Lakshmi suddenly went missing from their home, taking with her Rs 55,000 and gold jewellery.
The family members immediately reported the incident to the police station and demanded action. Two days later, it was discovered that Sazaullah, a resident of Siswan village in the district, had befriended Shailesh's wife on Facebook and taken her to Mumbai along with some accomplices.
In Mumbai, they carried out a religious conversion and changed her name from Lakshmi to Muskaan. Subsequently, Sazaullah married ‘Muskaan’ in a nikah ceremony.
The relatives of the young woman reached Mumbai and, after counselling both parties, managed to bring her back to her family home.
Shailesh told Aaj Tak/India Today that he got to know of Sazaullah’s connection with his wife after he spoke to Lakshmi’s cousin. The cousin revealed that Lakshmi used to chat on Facebook with a boy from Siswan village, and the two also talked over the phone.
Shailesh also said that Lakshmi had contacted her uncle, who lives in Kalyan, from Nashik before she was taken to Mumbai. Lakshmi reportedly told her uncle that she was taken to Mumbai forcibly and wanted to leave. After that, her phone was switched off.

Religious queers are holy and loved
Religious queers are not sad or misguided or in need of saving
Your own issues with (almost always Christian) religious trauma do not give you a key to lash out laterally at religious queers or assume they're being hurt or abused by their beliefs
#cosmo talks#this is not to say religious abuse doesnt happen to queers i myself have been put through conversion therapy#but its also NOT your place to assume all religious queers are abused by their religion

what an incredibly normal and not at all autistic thing to say! (lying)
#truly this is SO funny#casually questioning his bestie's religious beliefs and then genuinely being like “what?? did i say something??”#and then he KEEPS GOING with that train of thought#not because hes an asshole. in his head he is genuinely just making conversation. theres just something so autistic about him#also complete tangent but is it just me or is that glass of water between hotch and jj massive. is it the communal water cup or something#why is it so big#full disclosure these images are slightly out of order. the last image here is before hotch and jj's reactions#but it was funnier to order them like this#reid: hmm morgan do you think the reason youve never feared satan is because youve never actually believed in god?#everyone: ...#reid: :)#spencer reid#autistic spencer reid#not fic#criminal minds#criminal minds rewatch#criminal minds s03e08#lucky#this is NOT a hate post by the way. pre-diagnosis i absolutely would have done this.#even now knowing people consider it offensive i could see myself saying something like this#shoutout to offputting autistic people!!#criminal minds 3x8
