So I found some Rawfury videos of Yuri Lowenthal, Krizia Bajos and Cissy Jones talking about their characters and talking about the game before it was released (I was looking for clips for OC voice claims) and there was something in Cissy's Vivian video that kinda stuck out to me.
So what she says about Vivian exactly is: "Arcadia to her is- its not only where she's built her career, its where she's building her legacy, and uh, for her this is something really important. She wants to leave something of value, something that's worth a lot to people-"
Now, from a non spoiler point of view this is like, oh yeah rich Ceo lady wants to leave a mark on the world. Ceos are always talking about legacy, wanting to leave something behind, be something great yadda yadda. Added bonus if you know that she's supposed to be Elijah's '''Granddaughter''', she wants to continue her family's legacy all checks out.
But, knowing who she really is, not Elijah's granddaughter but one of the Arcadia 6, makes this sentence a lot more interesting. You could see this as her wanting to remake her legacy, because she technically already had one. Emily Garland is one of the 6 Arcadian born citizens to escape the dome, that's something pretty cool to be known for. But she threw that away, she sold out and chose to support the very company that oppressed her and many others like her. So now she has to make something more of herself to justify that choice. If she can make Arcadia greater, bring it out of its current slump like Howard Ashman did for Disney, then she's no longer the escapee who sold out because she was too weak to handle the outside world, she's the amazing woman who made American Arcadia popular again!
Cissy goes on to say: "-and so she works really really hard to make this thing, um, the best it can be with the most interesting people-" (She also goes on to call Trevor 'a bit of an L 7' or a square and I think that's really funny, like yeah, yeah he wouldn't be there, he would be square)
She does work really hard to leave something that, in her eyes, is positive to her image. She's reinventing herself to make her crawling back to the company worth it. To prove to herself that it wasn't a mistake and to leave a legacy that, hopefully, most people will look fondly on instead of in contempt or betrayal. She wants to leave something of value, because I can imagine there is a part of her that doesn't hold any value in herself, not after failing to make a difference that actually mattered and becoming part of the problem.
And I dunno I feel like that adds just an extra layer to her which is pretty cool. I could also be reading way too much into this idk.
Anyway, the other two videos are very cool too. Yuri talks about how Trevor's life isn't boring like Walton thinks it is, its just 'Exciting in the wrong way'. He also talks about how he thinks lots of people will relate to Trevor (So true) and how just because your life may be simple, it doesn't mean its boring and not worth living which I think is very sweet. Thank you Yuri. Krizia talks about how she really related to Angela because she grew up on Puerto Rico and how she got to add a couple of 'spicy words' as she put it, in her dialogue for a bit of extra authenticity. She also talked about how Walton was the job Angela always wanted, but after 'peaking behind the curtain' she realised that it wasn't the dream she thought is was, it's both kinda heart breaking but also very relatable, especially I'm sure to those in the entertainment industry. It makes me really want to know what her 'peak behind the curtain' moment was and what the steps where to get her to this point in more detail (Hey hey, Out of the Blue, hey please. please make that prologue thing you said was a good idea of mine on twitter. Hey, please? Please? It has the Regi Davis stamp of approval, please?)
The videos are very cool I'll put them under the cut if you're interested. I just wanted to have a ramble cause I haven't in a while and I've just been thinking about this.

Ok I’m asking this question in the most polite way I can. I’m very very new to the fandom and just the Beatles in general and I just have to know the pure truth on John and Cynthia. Any time John is ever posted on anywhere, like TikTok, insta, ect, people are always flooding the comments saying John beat his wife and kid. Why is that such a popular belief when that didn’t happen? I know he slapped her once or something but people are alway saying it and I just want to know why if it’s not true. Again I’m asking this in the most respectful manner I can. Thank you !
Hello nonny!
I can tell this is an important and emotive question for you, and I hope I can respond in a way that is helpful to you without avoiding the truth.
I don't like the way that John's violence is often discussed---people do like to make complicated things out to be simple---but we can't avoid the fact that John was a violent man. He said it himself [1], Cynthia said it [2], May said it [3], Yoko sat next to him while he said it and she didn't deny it [4].
In her 2005 book, Cynthia claimed he only ever hit her once [5], but four decades earlier she told Hunter Davies a different story [6]. The way I interpret this inconsistency is some combination of personal revisionism (as we all do when we look back on our lives) and choosing a particular version of John to publicly remember after his death.
So what are we to do with this knowledge? This may be controversial of me, but I don't believe in dividing the world into Abusers [irredeemable] and Non-abusers [decent].
If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?
-- Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago 1918–1956
John was violent, yes, but he also recognised that about himself and worked on changing. None of the Beatles were (or are) pure, and as fans we each need to decide for ourselves how much we engage with that reality, and how it affects our relationships with them and their work.
It's also worth noting that John was a notorious revisionist himself, and that whatever he said later, he really did love Cyn.
[1] "I used to be cruel to my woman, and physically — any woman. I was a hitter. I couldn’t express myself and I hit. I fought men and I hit women." --- John discussing the song Getting Better in an interview with Playboy 1980
[2] "Molly, the cleaning woman, once caught John hitting me, really clouting me. She said I was a silly girl, to get mixed up with someone like that." --- Cynthia to Hunter Davies in the official biography (chapter 7)
[3] "He was drunk and looked very confused. Slowly he reached out, put his hands to my throat, and began to strangle me. As his hands closed tighter I screamed out and I tried to pull away, but he was incredibly strong." --- May Pang in her book Loving John (chapter 14)
[4] https://amoralto.tumblr.com/post/46083471661/september-5th-1971-st-regis-hotel-new-york-in#notes
[5] "The next day at college he followed me to the girls' loos (toilets) in the basement. When I came out he was waiting with a dark look on his face. Before I could speak he raised his arm and hit me across the face, knocking my head into the pipes that ran down the wall behind me,". She goes on to claim that John promised never to hit her again and he kept that promise.
[6] See note 2 above. These don't sound to me like they could be the same incident.
#sorry for the delay responding to this anon#i was in london to see the yoko ono exhibition#i have many thoughts and will be writing them up soon#i hope this was useful to you#please feel free to send followups#john and violence#anon ask

✔️ 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐑𝐀 𝐐𝐔𝐈 ▶ https://megavids.online/movie/787699/wonka
:: Trama WONKA ::

The potential for a natural disaster along the Ohio River has been eliminated in Martins Ferry thanks to actions taken by the state of Ohio following a collective outcry by the valley’s local print, television, and radio media outlets as well as elected officials and a local environmental group. Austin Master Services initially was permitted by the Ohio Division of Natural Resources to store only 600 tons of waste at a time when the facility opened in 2015 but is now defunct and allegedly insolvent after stockpiling more than 10,000 tons of contaminated materials connected to the local fracking industry. The company had been hired to collect the materials from well pads in the Upper Ohio Valley and distribute them to facilities that properly dispose of the waste. However, Austin Masters - a subsidiary of American Environmental Partners Inc. - halted operations and instead began storing the materials on the floor of their location inside the former Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel facility along the riverfront in Martins Ferry. The structure, which stands just 500 feet from the banks of the Ohio River, is currently owned by Mull Industries, and the area leased to Austin Master Services was abandoned in March. This ODNR map reveals that most of the gas and oil drilling in Ohio has taken place along the east border of the state. “The looming disaster on our riverfront is no longer a threat, and I can’t tell you what a relief that is,” said Jack Regis, Martins Ferry’s auditor who served on the municipality’s council for 45 years. “When we found out exactly what was in that building, we knew there could be big trouble and I know our mayor, John Davies, did everything he could to get action down there. He worked hard on that and worked with the members of the environmental group (Concerned Ohio River Residents – or CORR) that came to council several times. “When the flooding happened back in April, I think that helped wake up a lot of people,” the city’s auditor said. “And then after I went on the radio in July and talked about it with (former West Virginia lawmaker) Erikka Storch, that’s when they helped everyone understand the disaster that could have happened if the flood water had been higher than what they were. Thankfully, the waters didn’t make it to the floor of that building or the drinking water clear down the river would have been impacted.” A number of different reports were published and broadcast by local newspapers and television stations concerning filed complaints, letters sent to state officials by City of Martins Ferry officials and by members of CORR, and Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost’s order that described the situation as an “environmental emergency” and ordered a cleanup process that never took place. Belmont County Common Pleas Court Judge John Vavra granted a restraining order in the spring and then found company officials in contempt of court in the summer for failing to perform the cleanup. The judge had set a July 22nd compliance deadline or fines and jail time were possible. The company did pay a $25,000 bond to avoid further action. “Once we knew there were thousands of tons of contaminated materials inside that building, we made the calls and wrote al the letters that were needed because we found ourselves between a rock and a hard place,” Regis recalled. “We’re just glad a lot of people listen to the radio and that Erikka was able to get everyone talking about it. “Everything started rolling from there,” he said. “After the community really came together, it was good to see it get taken care of finally.” Waste from gas and oil drilling often is contaminated and radioactive, and that's what was found resting on the floor of the former Austin Master Services location in Martins Ferry. The Clicking Sound of a Geiger Counter The oil and gas industries invaded the Upper Ohio Valley about 15 years ago, appearing first in Wetzel County in West Virginia before spreading north through Ohio County and west into East Ohio’s Monroe and Belmont counties. At that time, “fracking,” or hydraulic fracturing, combined with horizontal drilling, were new practices for harvesting natural gas and oil from the Marcellus Shale play in the tri-state region. The process calls for the injection of a mixture of water, chemicals, and sand while drilling between 3,000-8,000 feet into the Earth. Once the drilling and “fracking” operations are completed, a portion of the produced waste is, at times, radioactive and is collected by companies like Austin Master Services for disposal in federally regulated landfills. The members of COOR not only addressed Martins Ferry’s council a number of times about the illegal waste pile, but they also communicated with the ODNR and gained access of photos taken by the agency in late May. “Those folks did great. They wrote letters, and they did all of the marches and protests and worked very hard to get everyone’s attention, and they brought in an expert who really knew his stuff when he met with us. He was pretty sharp,” he said. “He told us we had to get the attention of the state, and that sure did happen after The River Network and Erikka (Storch) got involved. They really pushed it over the top. River Talk 100.1/100.9 FM broadcasts local and national talk radio featuring local hosts from 7-9 a.m. each morning and from 3-6 p.m. every afternoon. “I know Erikka called several officials in West Virginia who took action, and I know it was a topic on the radio for several days,” he said. “The squeaky wheel always gets the grease, I guess.” The property was once home to Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel’s rolling plant where as many as 2,000 people were employed. The land has been owned by several companies since the steel company merged with Esmark Inc. in 2006. The riverfront parcels then were purchased by Mull Industries in late 2012, and a portion of the building – the “pickling area” – was demolished in 2017. Although the environmental mess left behind by Austin Master has been cleared, Regis is unaware of what’s next for the property. “The fact that stuff has been cleaned up is great news for the city of Martins Ferry,” the city auditor explained. “The owners of the building said they’ll never rent to a company like that again, so that’s the best news. “That company (Austin Master Services) was there for a bunch of years and it seemed like everything was OK for a while, but then the former employees started to tell a different story,” he added. “Thankfully, we didn’t have a disaster.” Read the full article

Shakur Stevenson vs. Edwin De Los Santos Fight Preview
Aged 26, Shakur Stevenson (20-0, 10 KOs) is already a two-weight division champion and one of the major rising stars in boxing, tipped by many for greatness. Stevenson has been unable to lure undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney into the ring thus far but is now on the cusp of winning one of Haney's old titles.
Stevenson will be fighting for the vacant WBC lightweight title against Edwin De Los Santos (16-1, 14 KOs) at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Thursday, November 16, and the fight will air on ESPN and ESPN+ in the US, and Sky Sports in the UK.
Stevenson will be looking to become a three-weight division champion against the Dominican puncher.
Haney will become "champion in recess" while he moves up to super lightweight to face Regis Prograis for the WBC title at 140 lbs on December 9.
A silver medalist in the 2016 Rio Olympics, Stevenson became the WBO featherweight champion at the expense of Joet Gonzalez in October 2019. Two years later, Stevenson dethroned Jamel Herring via 10th-round TKO to become WBO super featherweight champion. In April 2022, Stevenson beat Oscar Valdez via wide unanimous decision for the WBC and Ring Magazine super featherweight titles before he was stripped of his titles after he failed to make weight for his September 2022 defense against Robson Conceicao, another wide unanimous decision victory for Stevenson.
After that, Stevenson made his lightweight debut in his most recent outing, stopping Shuichiro Yoshino in the sixth round. Shakur has aspirations of facing and conquering a division that features Gervonta Davis, Vasiliy Lomachenko, Frank Martin, Isaac Cruz, and William Zepeda, and until very recently, also the likes of Haney and Ryan Garcia.
Stevenson is not looking to overlook De Los Santos while confident in his own abilities as the best and getting the win.
On the Bootleg Kev podcast, Stevenson said: "You don't want to sleep on nobody, and sleeping on that dude would be the wrong move for me to make. This dude is a great boxer-puncher, and you can tell that he's hungry and he's going to come to win, so for sure, I respect him as a fighter, but he's just going against the best."
Stevenson is the most skilled young boxer in the sport. In a lightweight division packed with numerous skilled, talented boxers, Stevenson is the purest of them all. He may not be a lights-out puncher in the mold of Gervonta "Tank" Davis or possess the dazzling, pleasing-on-the-eye footwork, combinations, angles, and movement of Vasiliy Lomachenko, but Stevenson is impenetrable. Comparisons with Floyd Mayweather Jr may be premature, but who else has controlled fights more confidently than Stevenson since Mayweather? With every performance, Stevenson builds a stronger case that he is the best pure boxer since Mayweather reigned supreme.
Stevenson's style is not one you would assume is of interest to the casual fans, yet the manner in which he was mobbed by scores of fans like he was Michael Jordan in the '90s as he left Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena in July after the Errol Spence Jr vs Terence Crawford weigh-in was a sign that Stevenson has real star potential.
The open workout for this fight in Vegas did not attract a particularly big crowd to witness Stevenson, but glimpses of Stevenson's potential star power have been seen.
If Stevenson dominates here en route to victory while looking exciting and really good in the process and even makes a statement against De Los Santos, the world will be at his feet. This will be the case even more so should Stevenson start getting some big-name scalps on his resume and dispatch his rivals. Looking at what Stevenson has shown us in the professional ranks, he undoubtedly has the ability to do so.
De Los Santos turned professional in 2018. His unbeaten run came to a close, and he suffered his sole professional loss in January 2022, with an eight-round split decision loss to William Foster III on his US debut. The Dominican southpaw has since won three consecutive fights, taking two unbeaten records in the process. De Los Santos rendered Luis Acosta unconscious with a left hand early in the second round. He rose from the canvas in the second round against Jose Valenzuela to score two knockdowns and force the referee's stoppage in the third round of their bout. In his most recent outing, De Los Santos scored a unanimous decision win over 10 rounds against Joseph Adorno in July.
De Los Santos is an offensive fighter who is quick, throws sharp combinations, and carries power in his left hand.
The Dominican southpaw is fully aware of the task at hand against Stevenson and is looking to create history.
"This is the most difficult and important challenge of my career. Winning this fight will change my life forever. I know Shakur is a great champion, and I understand I will need my entire arsenal to defeat him. It is a huge challenge, but not impossible," De Los Santos said.
"I am extremely focused on being crowned world champion and giving a world title to the Dominican Republic. A victory over Shakur would go down as one of the greatest in the history of Dominican boxing. That motivates me much more."
Perhaps the biggest threat for Stevenson is the element of unknown that De Los Santos presents. On paper, when you look at Stevenson's recent fights against Jamel Herring, Oscar Valdez, and Robson Conceicao, De Los Santos appears to be a step-down.
Stevenson is seeking his third world title in a third weight class, but in 2023, not every world title fight in boxing means a contest is of world championship quality.
De Los Santos' best win is that third-round stoppage of a then 12-0 Valenzuela when he found himself dropped in round two. De Los Santos' next fight against Adorno was a 10-round decision over a man who had lost his previous fight against Elvis Rodriguez and had won only three of his past seven. De Los Santos has never been in with anyone of Stevenson's caliber as he pursues his first taste of championship Gold.
With 14 stoppages in 16 wins, it is no surprise that the Dominican will be sold as a big puncher. The reality is this should be a routine victory for Stevenson. This is not a landmark fight in the career of Stevenson. Rather, it should act as a springboard to showcase his phenomenal talents in a thrilling display to take a gifted pugilist to that next level of popularity.
Fights like this will do little for Stevenson's legacy, but the manner in which he ends them will live long in the memory and sway those who may still be undecided on investing in the gifted southpaw's rise. Stevenson is smart, and he will surely be aware of this.
De Los Santos may be too one-dimensional for Stevenson, and his aggression may eventually be to his detriment as Stevenson steps on the gas from the middle rounds and starts turning this into a boxing clinic.
For De Los Santos, a win here would be a huge upset and about as difficult a task as one could find in boxing today. There is no outboxing Stevenson, and attempting to be aggressive with Stevenson, as shown in Stevenson's last fight, often spells the beginning of the end, too. Yoshino spent the first two rounds being aggressive and landing the occasional body shots, then Stevenson countered an incoming Yoshino, dropped him, and kick-started a gradual beating.
Whether it be a showcase performance for a potential future pound-for-pound king or a huge upset and a history-making moment for the underdog, it looks like a rare Thursday night of boxing not to be missed.

Wonka is a 2023 musical fantasy film directed by Paul King, who co-wrote the screenplay with Simon Farnaby. It tells the origin story of the titular Willy Wonka, a character in Roald Dahl's 1964 novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, featuring his early days as an eccentric chocolatier.
The film stars Timothée Chalamet in the title role, along with newcomer Calah Lane and an ensemble cast including Keegan-Michael Key, Paterson Joseph, Matt Lucas, Mathew Baynton, Sally Hawkins, Rowan Atkinson, Jim Carter, Tom Davis, Olivia Colman, and Hugh Grant.
Development began after Warner Bros. Pictures, which previously released its own adaptation of the novel in 2005, acquired the rights to the titular character in October 2016 and revealed the film would serve as an origin story for Wonka. In May 2021, Chalamet was confirmed to be playing Wonka and the supporting cast were announced in September of that year. Principal photography began in the United Kingdom in September 2021. Filming took place in Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden in Watford, as well as Lyme Regis, Bath, St Albans and at the Rivoli Ballroom in Crofton Park, London. Scenes were shot in Oxford in December and February. The original songs for the film were contributed by Neil Hannon, while its original score was provided by Joby Talbot.
Wonka had a special screening at ShowEast on 24 October 2023, and is scheduled to be released in the United Kingdom on 8 December 2023, and in the United States on 15 December 2023, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
