Group Name: The Ancient Gardners Group Goals: To carefully cultivate world and realities, growing the most beautiful garden in the multiverse Number of Members: 7 Why did the Bait work? Inspired by the community, the Gardeners gathered together to speak to like minded individuals, to share their inspiration and to gain inspiration from others. Important Members ~Apollo Dunn: The primary Gardener, Apollo rules over the stars of the Garden, providing the most basic building blocks the other Gardener's use to build their own creations. ~Artemis Dunn: Twin sister to Apollo, Artemis was placed in charge of creating the planets and moons of the Garden. Each planet providing a new template for the other Gardeners to decorate. ~Marsh Temper: As the best with fluid dynamics, Marsh rules over both the waters of the Garden and the molten cores. He ensures the worlds are covered in oceans and possess magnetic fields. ~Aran Igarashi: Ruling over the weather of the Garden, Aran shapes storms and winds of the worlds created in the Garden. They love reshaping the Gas Giants of the Garden, causing them to swirl and dance. ~Mar Anaya: Takinig on the responsibility of all life in the ocean, Mar is the one that begins life in the Garden. Shaping all that lives within the ocean and deciding what eventually makes the journey to land and to Adams or Alices care. ~Adam Butcher: Adam takes on the responsability to shape all those creatures Mar sends onto him. Allowing them to grow and expand, some taking to the skies and others eventually returning to the seas. Most remain on land and an even smaller number are chosen by Alice. ~Alice Veers: Alice controls the development of Sapient life in the Garden. Chosing what life gains sapience and what way they develop. She adores seeing just what the Garden can produce and will happily show off her work to any who will listen. She encourages her work to achieve some form of space flight, allowing them to intermingle and grow even greater. Backstory: In a world of reality shapers, those that can create realities are rare and often flock together. Each individual having their own skills and talents in creation. That is exactly what brought the Gardeners together, each possessing their own talents in shaping the realities they created. The Gardner's adore their work, creating vast stretches of reality, carefully cultivated and shaped to make the most beautiful displays. Each Garden is carefully sculpted by each of them, all of them working in tandem to create a work of art each time.

i am so obsessed with how like. taken as read the ot3 are at this point. like on the one hand it feels like they've been building up to this for ages but on the other hand it kind of feels like i blinked and we skipped right past some Major Turning Point where everything got spelled out and we're just already in firmly Established Relationship-land. obviously tarvek is too well-protected for anyone to assassinate openly, look how angry his boyfriend and girlfriend are at the idea of anyone threatening him. at this point i'm half-convinced agatha's just going to refer to her boyfriends in passing to someone else and no one's even going to comment on it until van finds out twenty pages later and immediately starts making everyone pay up

Something I appreciate here is the underlying critique of the idea (one i heard more than once growing up) that if you have something to hide, it's something wrong/something to be ashamed of. Nope! Private and intimate things exist!

I think the problem. the problem is that I have always been afraid of not being invited into the inner circle. and am always wanting to be part of the inner circle. inner circle being the circle of love and companionship and communion. of course being a TCK and a bit of a sheltered homeschooled oddball child has nudged this further along over the years. but I didn't realise how STRONG that desire still burned. to actually be wanted.

"Black Outs" in Monk 2002 are here and there. In some moments you understand why Adrian would black out and in others you go welllll.

Basically, a black out occurs because a person is experiencing 'strong' feelings: anxiety/stress is a big one. when this happens, they become more focused on how they're presenting themselves instead of the interaction that's going on.

So, they might look confused. Clammy, maybe. They may stutter a lot. Be unresponsive or overly co-operative or NOT at all.

because he blacks out, he doesn't actually remember what he says - the brain likely doesn't make the memory in the first place, properly or at all. Or, it catches bits of different things instead of what may really be going on...

i don't fully remember how it's been portrayed in the show. but from what i remember they get the stuttering and confusion down alright.

Oh my g-d okay your tags on the Cherokee 'great grandma was a princess' post. 'Spirit wolf' whatever names? According to the BIA, that's literally a sign that a tribe is full of shit. A lot of times, the folks running admin for these groups have names like 'Big Standing Bear Jones'. My personal favorite was 'Buffalo Sister'. It's connected to 'naming ceremonies' they give themselves, which is also a common thing the BIA has noticed with all of these groups. Whatever you do don't go on Tiktok it's terrible there

YEA I think I've seen you talk abt that before, or I've seen it somewhere. It does feel like I see bogus state tribe people talk about getting Naming Ceremonies soooo often and then actual connected people ive seen are like. 'Yea my grandma just called me worm' or smth lmao.

It's so funny cuz the 'cherokee names' in the fake tribes are always in English... or at least mostly. I've even heard someone say 'I was named [such and such in english] and we just don't know what it would be in cherokee yet' like. A cherokee name..... get this... a cherokee name is by definition... in cherokee.

I've been to a number of 35mm showings lately and even when they're new releases the films have noticable damage to them and I am wondering why that is? Is it just inevitable wear and tare because film is fragile? Is someone rough with them? Something else?
