I was catching up with G.O.D.S. when that particular passage of Stephen becoming the Eye of Eyes (leader of the Black Priests) caught my attention.

Even with context, it's still hard to tell what's happening, but my best guess is that he's seeing this possible/alternate future in which Secret Wars happened (since time was reversed, originally).

As a magic user, it's understandable that he would be aware of that. Except that Reed canonically erased everyone's memories, Stephen's included.

This is, however, Hickman's both works. Which means that, albeit small, this moment alone shows that somehow Stephen is (re)learning about the events pre-Secret Wars. I'm sure Wyn being sarcastic about Stephen's good character is also a reference to his decisions as the Eye of Eyes.

In any case, I think it's safe to say that, when it comes to canon, it's now confirmed that Stephen does remember Secret Wars (or, at least, the Black Priests and Black Swans). Which is good for me because I do love some New Avengers v3/SW angst ehehe.

Unfortunately, G.O.D.S. was canceled, meaning that we won't be seeing Hickman's Stephen for a while. But at least I got one answer I've been yearning for eight years. OOF.

Can we talk about Valerio Schiti for hot minute

Seriously, I am in love and fascinated by this art style. It's so fluid and dynamic that he literally brings the characters to life. They deadass FEEL like they're really moving and talking throughout these panels, and I'm just like... AHH appreciate this man's work because it is phenomenal. It seriously feels like I'm watching this comic rather than reading it. Definitely one of my favorite artists.

Thanks for answering my last ask. I totally didn't know Iman was returning. I really hope she gets more and more experiencie so one day she can be part of a ms marvel ongoing.

Anyways, i mean i do know her mutant powers are like the mcu version. What i was talking about kamala herself awakening them.

I actually am okay with her powers being like the mcu. I actually have a theory. But secondary mutantions are a thing. Maybe in some years she could manifest another mutation??

Oh yeah they're still keeping her employed. She wrote Ms Marvel Annual in July too. I'm not sure she can commit to an ongoing because she has to film too? Zombies and Daredevil (?) has finished production but she'll definitely be in Avengers. It seems Marvel is allowing her the opportunity to do a lot of different things so hopefully producing is next.

Ohhhh lol I honestly don't even know her powers could manifest? Intense emotional moment? They need to kill someone off. Not her this time. What is your theory???? I'm on board with more mutations, characters change all the time. Kamala needs to as well.

Happy holidays! I was wondering if you’ve been reading Hickman’s Marvel G.O.D.S., and what your thoughts are on Stephen’s portrayal?

Hello!! Super late happy holidays to you!! Apologies for taking this long to reply 😭

I'm currently at issue #3 but yes, I've been reading it! I have tons of comics to catch up atm but so far I like to think that Wyn is what Stephen was supposed to look like during his v4 phase. In all honesty, Hickman's Stephen throws me back to his New Avengers v3 era, when he was way more formal and polite, dramatic and stern. Well, he's indeed shadowed by Wyn, whose characterization is very enjoyable for readers (at least, it is for me). But also Wyn is the protagonist, so I'm not taking Stephen's characterization that serious so far. I will complain, tho, that I miss other magic users. They all left the burden for those two to carry. They baited with the variant covers. They baited me with the preview!! pls pretend this is not about Victor

Anyways, looking forward to the next issues! I simply LOVE the big four deities and Oblivion has always fascinated me. To have this entity in the spotlight gives me giggles heehee. Thank you for passing by!

Here’s my costest of Reddwyn from Marvel’s GODS! I don’t have my whiteout contacts anymore but still wanted to have different eyes, so I used my mini scleras instead! He’s only gonna get better from here!

I want to cosplay Wyn from Marvel's G.O.D.S.

but prescription contact lenses are a little expensive :/ (not to mentions the fact that I'd have to get a brown set and a white set)

plus I need to learn how to do the good make-up stuff AND either get a custom brown and white wig/beard combo or find a decent quality combo that I can cut or dye like I did with my Stephen cosplay (I'll probs post some soon, if I can actually find the energy to blur my face)

Also. I own a white dress shirt, but it's too big for me. So there's the issue of me not owning any masculine anything so I'd have to get it from a friend or go thrifting again

also. quick question to my LGBTQ+ friends. I'm pretty sure I am female, but I identify as male. but idk what that's called. Is it like, bigender or something else?
