I wanna do coke ffs.
I actually really liked a lot of the rituals associated with cocaine. The cutting, the card licking, the crumbs you'd find under the card later, the trips to the ATM at midnight when you get paid. Just the entire aesthetic of coke. The taste. The smell. Making your own straw out of bizarre miscellaneous items, or cutting straws to length.
When I visited my dealer, we'd do coke together.
He'd use this hollowed out bullet to sniff with and I hated it, so I'd bring my own paper straw and cut it to size.
Hated doing drugs with him in retrospect. Not a fun guy, very depressing environment. Honestly, I think if I were doing coke again now, I'd make the best, cleanest environment, and fill it with my music and my videos. Maybe try to find someone I liked more to do it with.
Anyway, I've deleted his number and I'm not sure I'll ever do coke again but I miss it.

hoo boy this is stirring up some Feelings
I experienced a few varieties of food insecurity as a kid, so now as an adult I have food-hoarding tendencies. And like. I've KNOWN this about myself but have always just sort of gone "haha yep guess I bought a bunch of winter squash and then left them on the counter all winter until they were too withered to eat. Those are my Emotional Support Squashes!!"
I've never. Sat with it. Never asked myself, "hey, wanna talk about why you're so scared of empty cupboards that you can't leave the grocery store without buying another jar of marinara sauce, even if you have three identical jars at home?"
I had half a box of powdered milk in the cupboard. I hate powdered milk. I got scared in 2020 and tucked it away. Lugged it with me through two moves, found somewhere to store it in three separate kitchens, nose wrinkling every time I saw it.
Had to fight back a wave of panic when I dropped it in the trash.
I'm tired of living like this. Tired of looking in the cupboards and seeing only things I bought out of fear, not things I actually want to cook and eat.
Tired of finally feeling brave enough to actually EAT one of the Emotional Support Food items only to discover it's stale/rancid/withered/rotten.
This year I'm going to practice cooking and eating delicious food, and buying only the ingredients I need to do that.
