Neil on his RP (Received Pronunciation) accent! The Brummie accent has been voted as "the worst accent in the uk", and Neil has previously stated he ditched it "at about the age of 7" which is hilarious to me considering his twin has kept it!

Shinomori is cute. Here's a post.

He is so baby-faced. He hasn't changed at all since he was 22, to when he died of "old age" at 40

(Old age? With a face like that? 40 years old?? Gimme that kind of youth and hotness Shinomori-)

He has tiny eyebrows. Like a puppy's (rottweiler's, for example). So cute and tiny and fuffy

He naturally frowns. Look at him and his mouth and his lil nose

He has a thing about keeping his arms near his chest. He sits with his arms crossed, introduces himself with his hands over his torso, and even walks with his arms crossed toward Midoriya

He has such clear skin for someone who lived the rest of his life in a forest??? Why do Hikage and Yoichi have such nice skin despite living in terrible environments? (forest and vault + abandoned streets respectively)

Is easily scared

They knew their Quirks could be used, but Shinomori got scared of it when it happened. Even though he gave Midoriya his support and access to his Quirk beforehand. Depending on the translation; "it startled me", "you scared me", "it surprised me"

I'm not going to hold running from AFO against him because he knew he was running for his life. Who wouldn't run for their life when it's in danger? Shinomori was being chased by the strongest person in the country (and likely the world)

His sense of self-preservation is probably heightened by the nature of his Quirk to keep him out of danger too. Which makes him all the more sensitive and jumpy to danger and anything that startles him, especially when he has no warning

He's actually extremely tall, but is so socially inept and jumpy it's adorable. He's taller than Bruce.

Bruce is as tall as a vault door that the 2m AFO used.

He has such a bad sense of humor that it's cute (his puns off Danger Sense)

It's also adorable how Shinomori just doesn't understand social conventions sometimes. He lived in a forest, so it made sense, but also— Midoriya shows up in the void to the vestige platform for the first time. He has no mouth, no clothes—and Shinomori's first idea is to stand in front of him menacingly and go: "I shall explain. I am Shinomori Hikage." SIRRRR

His Ability is basically like glorified anxiety. What if something is coming to hurt him? If something can hurt him? What if that tree falls while he's under it? And the ideas come so hard they hurt (although yes, it does detect ill intent and that's what sets it off)

He talks weirdly. Formal? Old-fashioned? Listening to him speak Japanese compared to others, it just sounds a bit different. (Translated subs don't show it very well, it's the voice itself methinks)

Kinda wise or sage-y. He did spend his life in solitude in the forests so he definitely spent a lot of time with his own thoughts. Maybe he found the meaning of life in a centipede or something one day

For someone so cute, he is also such. A fine. Specimen???

y'all know how in the Adventure English dub episode 9, Gabumon takes off his fur to keep Matt warm and he very memorably says "naked Digimon"?

They cut that line out of the Discotek blu-ray release. The line is just not there. I listened to the scene a dozen times and it's just gone. they fucking censored the show that was already pretty censored! I don't know if the version they received was already like that or if it was a choice Discotek made, but it's pretty damn annoying

"I still don't hear the question," Harvey shrugs.

Donna stares intently into his eyes and suddenly gasps. Her face lights up with an epiphany, and her gaze becomes predatory and dangerous. The blood is already in the water, and the shark can smell the victim.

"There was no guilt', Donna leans back in her chair.

Only she manages to sit on these uncomfortable chairs as if she is a queen who has condescended to receive servants. This woman is gorgeous.

"You didn't want him to date her because you only wanted him for yourself".

She's not asking again.

"It was the right choice, and I want to remind you that you agreed with him," Harvey shrugs.

It's a trap.

"Yes, but you didn't deny it".

"What's the point if you've already decided everything?" — counteroffensive.

"Oh, Harvey, it won't work on me — expected failure".

" What do you want to hear?", Harvey looks at her wearily. "I said what I had to say. Did I know that this would lead to certain consequences when…"

"Will the puppy be vulnerable, and will you be able to pick him up? Donna chuckles".

Harvey rolls his eyes.

"Call it what you want".

"Harvey," Donna's tone suddenly becomes serious. "If you started this game, then don't hurt him. Mike doesn't deserve this".

"Who do you take me for?", Harvey winces because Donna is unconsciously voicing his fears.

"For a man who does not know how to show emotions, and who hides any affection behind a thick—skinned armour", her answer is honest and ruthless as always. "Mike is all emotions, Harvey".

"And because of that, we have so many problems," he says.

"And that's why you like working with him so much. Think about it".

"I'm trying, okay?"

Donna stands up and straightens the folds of her dress.

"Do it or leave Rachel's boyfriend".

She leaves, clicking her heels loudly on purpose, looking so much like a proud lioness. Mike flies in after him, carrying folders. Tired and sleepless, but collected. Harvey looks him in the eye and thinks trying would be an insult.

Harvey will just do it. As always.

More Bez/Logan content please

Another thing logan didn't really consider at first were tattoos.

When he watched marco through his phone it made him aware, yes, but not as much because most of the time they were hidden underneath the leathers or just not the main focus of pictures.

Logan looked at them, wondered whenever there was a photo in his stories but tried not to do that too much because it felt a bit weird without knowing marco personally.

But now after they actually getting to know him personally, exchanging numbers and even going out a few times (in his head logan likes to think of those times as dates even if they never specified) those thoughts start plague logans mind, seeing some peek out from underneath of Marco's shorts or sleeves. Or how sometimes "12" catches his eye when bez explains something animatedly.

For himself, logan never gonna have one. He knows that and always did, idea of something so permanent putting way to much stress on his shoulders. That and also pain and mild discomfort that would come with tattoo too.

It's not like logan judges anyone for having them but still sometimes what he saw made him mentally raise an eyebrow a few times. Logan doesn't hold himself higher than others just because of external appearance that may not match his tastes or views.

But with bez-

With bez it's different just like it always is. All and every tattoo seem to fir him perfectly, like a small addition to a puzzle outside of it's border that can make picture bigger. It's always interesting for logan to search all the ways that bez is differs from him in because there always more and this was another addition to this list.

Like some of them are absolutely ridiculous! But it doesn't stop logan from feeling either attracted or endeared, for example a photo tattoo of ones dog would make him roll eyes in any other situation but will marco he just wants to laugh and trace it with his fingers.

All this mulling over makes logan feel a mix of emotions when he gets to Marco's apartment in Italy (they agreed for logan to stay there for a few days before next race weeks ago) on one hand thinking that it would be ridiculous to ask for a something like a tattoo tour this early into speaking to one another meanwhile much more delusional part of him hoped that marco would read his thoughts and propose to do so himself, or at least allowed logan to trase a few of those visible on his arms.

As it turned out afterwards bez was very eager to show all of his tattoos and also had a bit of additional plans for duration of logans stay with him. Somehow a bit of embarrassing confession about having that much thoughts about tattoos while they were watching some film and Logan just zooned out looking on Marco's leg lead to a tattoo tour that lead them to Marco's bedroom and in turn made him go into even more detailed rant about tattoos and piercings afterwards.

(Logan tries to keep thoughts about bez piercing at bay because he'll get even more insane about those and he doesn't have luxury of such distraction right before the race)

In the end Logan entered a paddock on Thursday humouring a few thoughts about how a single earring would look on him

why does every article reporting on idf war crimes go "hamas, who started the war on october 7th with their brutal terrorist attack slaughtering innocent israeli civilians, has condemned the idf's use of-"? like, nearly verbatim every single time. we know about october 7th. we know by now. half the time, hamas isnt even relevant but they gotta find some way to sow doubt and numb any potential compassion responses. will you get fired if you show sympathy for murdered palestinian civilians without first adding a disclaimer saying its all their fault for being born in gaza? if you call "palestinians under 18" children? if you use the words "murdered" or "brutal" or "massacre" for acts that didnt occur on october 7th? if you call a spade a spade? why are israeli reports front page news without proper fact-checking but palestinian reporting is always "allegedly" even when theres video evidence? why does the idf not get the hamas treatment of reminding everyone that theyre biased before treating their words as law, like they havent been caught bold-faced lying again and again?

There's so many things about myself that I'm scared/unable to safely acknowledge or explore especially when it comes to a lot of topics that are often written about.

this is why i'm such a huge huge huge advocate for being able to write/read what you want. because it allows you to process the parts of yourself that others would rather shove away, snuff out, or ridicule you for. especially when it comes to processing trauma - or not even that. just having your own autonomy to do what you want without feeling ashamed about it.
