Do I actually think Imogen is going to turn on the party? No. I don't think it’s any more likely to happen than I did Fjord releasing Uk’otoa, or Caleb returning to Trent and the Vollstruckers.

Given the nature of the game, any character turning fully dark is unlikely, seeing as it would take them away from the party for a time or potentially even turn them into an npc, replaced by a new pc. So far the only time we've gotten close to seeing something like it happen was Yasha siding with Obann, which could only happen specifically because Ashley was gone from the table for a long time (it was also the product of mind control, not an active choice to turn dark, and as such still doesn’t really count as a pc turning on the party in my eyes).

But the possibility is there. The seeds planted. Travis has talked about how, after he threw the falchion away, he briefly considered having Fjord leave the party and retun to the coast and Uk’otoa. Liam has mentioned that, early on, Caleb returning to work for Trent was a very real possibilty. It can happen, if the players and narrative are open to it.

And now, canonically, Imogen is desperately and understandably searching for a reason not to have to fight her own mother. She is, however briefly, questioning whether the Ruby Vanguard might have a just cause. Much as she hates it, she also feels the allure of the power Ruidus gives her. Her closest ally is someone who has repeatedly assured she will stand by her no matter what she chooses, even after she voiced the possibility of letting Predathos get out. None of these parts of Imogen are evil, and all of them are understandable and deeply rooted in pain and ostracization, but they could very easily be turned into justification, were she pushed enough.

The seeds are planted. Again, I don’t think it will happen (she seems firmly against the evil plan when reminded of how evil it is), but there’s certainly nothing strange or hateful about engaging with and being interested in the darker possibilities as presented in canon. It isn't character hate to acknowledge that Imogen has the potential to go dark, much as Fjord and Caleb and Yasha. To me, it’s what makes her character interesting. I want to see her clash with the party, whether because she’s desperate to save her own mother or because she’s high off the power of Ruidus and lured in. I want to see Laudna have to choose between the world and her promise to stand by Imogen no matter what. I want to see the fallout, the slow healing and redemption and coming to terms with bad choices. I eat that shit up, and if it doesn’t happen in canon I'll probably go read some fic about it to get my fix.

i think it's so interesting how people have just decided fearne has serious feelings for certain characters just because They ship it when i have yet to see fearne give any sort of hint to that in the game?? NOW if we're talking about people fearne treats differently/cares for differently, i think we should have a discussion on how gentle fearne is with imogen temult i think we should talk about fearne screaming imogen's name, fearne tying her and laudna's ribbons around imogen's wrist, fearne being so opposed to imogen giving in to the storm because she doesn't want to lose her. I think we should Discuss That.

the implication that they can save liliana (from cr cooldown) cause i thought she was dead for sure. It does of course work better in a ttrpg to add a stake like that than straight killing her imo (there's a literal ticking clock for them to hurry to their next destination no more resting)

I know they were doing this before but people have labeled Imogen as a lesbian because Laura liked two pieces of fan art with the lesbian pride flag on twitter, and people have took it as a soft confirmation of Imogen’s sexuality in cannon. And if you dare disagree with them or head canon her as bi they’ll make a tweet saying something along the lines of “omg how can you deny Imogen is a lesbian… or you don’t know the character better than the actor that plays her… sam the stable guy doesn’t count… oh you’re just lesphobic… Omg even Laura is telling y’all to shut up, Imogen’s a lesbian.” Anyway sometimes Imogen stans are fucking annoying and insufferable. Also this isn’t related really, but I really hate that Imogen and Laudna shippers continue to ignore beauyasha being a lesbian ship and saying how “Imogen/Laudna are the best lesbians and best ship…” just because it’s laura and Marisha and they have wanted a relationship between there characters since c1 because you “can’t deny Laura and Marisha’s chemistry”. They ignore beauyasha and the beautiful story Ashley and Marisha told and I despise that. Anyway sorry you can delete this if you want.

I have to say, I DO admire Kozma's attitude in some ways bc I do wish I was that assertive and certain and a fucking bitch so that people don't fuck with me, but also every time I see someone talk TOO highly of her in my notes or in the wild or like someone hypes up a little too much about how badass is she or whatever, I DO react like 😬😬😬😬

I did not expect a question about this! Actually makes me happy!

I deleted it for a variety of reasons.

I was losing motivation to keep going mega hard. Drawing for it consistently was super hard after a while, and I couldn't settle with my art.

I was super unsatisfied with my writing and pacing of the story. No problem with the questions I was getting, it was 100% my fault. I couldn't put my focus correctly, I couldn't write dialouge the way I wanted, the frames felt unsatisfying.

I am always having a weird relationships with AU's and "Fandom" stuff, in where I wanna focus more on my personal worldbuilding, but knowing it won't really get the same attention as if I put it in a fandom universe. Esp when I was rp'ing Imogen a lot in a human verse I preferred, but that's not rly the case anymore.

I had a mega breakdown end of last year. I was in a headspace where I just couldn't appreciate things. Oops. I am doing way better now!

Another smaller issue is just my policy of being 18+. A pokemon blog idea I have could probably be 16+ but man. I can't escape the fact that pokemon/minecraft should be spaces for minors.

I am sort of flirting with the idea of askblogs again, whether Minecraft or Pokemon or both because I do have stories I wanna tell, but also... Like, my motivation and energy is so shit and my skill level just isnt where I want it to be. But maybe I could try revive retcon Convallamarin and take it a little less serious for fun. It's not a idea I hate, but I can't promise anything.

I liked Heartstopper from the start, but where it really became THE comfort show for me was the bowling party in S01E05. At that point, I didn't know so much about the show yet and how wholesome it was overall. Plus it was half of the season so I expected something to go really downhill.

But like...

The scene where Tao tells Nick that Charlie really likes him, and he better stop messing with him or else? And Nick is just like "Okay, fair enough" ?

Like, no arguing. No back talk. Nothing. Nick just acknowledges this is how Charlie feels about him and how it looks like to other people, especially to his friends. Obviously we know he's not really messing with Charlie, but that doesn't matter. For others, it looks like that. And Nick knows, that's not right. There's no ego involved.

And the scene where Nick overhears Charlie and Tao in the bathroom??

Holy moly. So many things could go wrong here. I was really worried.

I was expecting Nick to either stay there and confront Charlie about it somehow, or leave and stay radio silent.... anything but hugging Charlie and nearly crying in his arms. Then afterwards, Nick immediately sets the record straight on everything - explains to Charlie the thing with the date, expresses his feelings for him... admits he's made a mistake that is worth saying the banned "S" word. Just wow.

(The way it feels so unrealistic tho, when it's literally just good communication. The bar irl is in hell,huh?)

Of course Nick isn't the perfect human and he messes up sometimes, but he always owns up to it. Like the next day, when he explains everything to Imogen as well. He doesn't sugarcoat stuff, just tells her that's how he feels. And she listens. She is obviously hurt, but doesn't put him down for it, not even the next day in front of the rugby lads.

Incredible.

The way this show handles communication is so great.

For Imogen i use Saffron Vadher. She fits my criteria that the people of marquet look either south asian or middle eastern. What made me pick her is really her mouth and nose, I do tend to make Imogen's face a tad longer than hers tho.

Laudna is more broad, i'll often use eastern european women and just remove all buccal fat lol. Anyone with a larger nose and deeper set eyes fit to me

Orym gets Kit butler, mainly for the way his nose bridge tapers into his brow line, I also like his square head

For Dorian I knew i wanted someone native american or mexican to reflect Robbie's heritage, i often use Booboo Stewart as a base with a bit of Billy Wirth in there

Chetney is another broad one, My main thing is that i wanted him to actually look old. Too many people give him just smile lines and a few forehead wrinkles and call it a day. Don't be scared! Wrinkles are actually very fun to draw once you get started. I mainly use these random busts i found on pinterest

Finally Braius! still working it out but young Peter Steele sort of has what i'm looking for. I like his heavy brow bone and strong chin. His body type sort of fits too
