cannot stop thinking of chat noir having a spam tiktok.

we talk a lot abt lb and cn having official twitter accounts, but imagine chat making a tt where he's not verified and just posts the funniest shit. ppl try to keep it a secret, so if you stumble upon him it's usually by chance.

i can picture him forcing ladybug to make tiktok dances with him, making thirst traps/capcut edit templates of his bugaboo bc he loves her soooo much, taking a video from his pov jumping around paris in 2x speed with subway surfers music in the background, etc etc.

basically the whole miraculous team endorses it except ladybug and is determined to make chat viral (which usually works). rena is always the most eager to make videos w him bc she's so used to acting professional on the ladyblog, so it gives her the chance to loosen up. chaos ensues every time they pump out content together.

chat also enjoys commenting under random videos as most people don't realize it's him until they go to his account. he'll comment "real" under vids trashing him but will go ABSOLUTELY FERAL under any videos trashing ladybug. i'm talking starting full on wars in the comments. he basically comments like duolingo's official tiktok acc (iykyk) and is chronically online, whatever that may mean.

not to mention HIS REPOSTS. they're either super funny or reveal serious chat noir lore. varies from "me when she doesn't want me😍😍😍" and "is it too much to ask for a life as a cat bathing in the sun with belly scratches" to "hearing 'i'm so proud of you' from a man that's not my father🥰🥰" and "how it feels having a father that lives down the hallway but is absent in your life". that typa stuff.

when ladybug eventually stalks his account and finds his reposts she LOSES IT. she doesn't even care that he revealed personal info to his 300k followers because HER KITTY IS IN DISTRESS. AND HE HAS A FATHER. THAT MUST BE STRANGLED. WITH HER YOYO.

but that is a story for another day.

Spam bots keep following me and it’s getting irritating and worrisome. They show up at least once or twice a day, they have no posts, their pfps are obviously stolen pictures of random women online, and at this point there’s nothing I can do about it. I block and report immediately after they come but nothing changes. I don’t know what caused it so it’s not like I can make them stop unless I delete my acc but I don’t wanna do that. Should I just let them follow? I’d prefer to have real people following me, I’m just very upset and frustrated.

yeah I wonder what he saw that prompted him to mention being on haters minds. Like did he stumble upon something ridiculous about himself, I wonder what it is. i think the weirdest thing about the current batch of porn bots is that. most of them dont actually have any actual. porn (or sketchy links that claim to be porn but will probably just steal all ur personal info if u click em).

i think for awhile some of them had links in their bios. at least it looked like they did. obviously i never actually clicked anything, but it doesnt seem like that anymore.

but i do remember seeing a post talking about how a tag was just filled with recent posts linking to ""porn"" from porn bots and were also filled with likes from other bot accounts. (which you know, helps legitimize the post or something)

so like, is that the current bots way of working? most of them dont post any actual spam, follow normal blogs so they look like real people, and like spam posts (because if you'll notice, these bot accounts actually do have their likes and followings hidden).

and then there's another subset of bot accs that just post the links, maybe follow other bot accounts to also look legit and have other bots following them?

While I don’t dedicate my life to anyone other that myself, my personal relationships, and people who I actually know personally, I just really enjoy seeing how this has gotten so messed up!! It’s entertaining!! I love to see the fans going so deranged, and I love to see him behaving like a high schooler, throwing tantrums all over the place and blocking people just for shit! He’s so immature, his true colours are showing with this!!! And the fandom???? Jeeez, there are ppl over 30 years old, worrying about who this guy dates, and what he does with his life, as if they have given birth to him, GOD!!!! That to me is so weird!!! Like, get a life hunny????? I’m just watching everything from afar, with some popcorn…

I'd say deffo these 5 main points:

The Tumblr tagging system: I see so many posts where there's no spaces between the words in a tag, and that's kinda unnecessary on tumblr, + how only the first 5 tags will show up when you search tags.

Reblogs, what it means and how they work: some people think it's like reposting content which they're against, but it totally doesn't work like that! Also, I found out when I was new here that sometimes you need to reblog stuff from other people if you're new so that your own posts show up in the tags.

How to look like a Real Person, and not a porn bot: I know too many people who keep everything set to default, but that makes them look like a fake acc/porn acc, and it makes me wanna block on site so I don't get weird comments in my notes.

Interaction etiquette! : Check people's account headers/bios and their pinned posts! For example, I have info in my pinned post saying when my DMs are open to new ppl/when ppl can make art requests, but I've had ppl recently ignore it/who don't read it and go straight to my DMs instead of sending an ask/anon ask, and that makes me just ignore them bc I don't want to start any private dialogues sometimes

If you don't like someone or their content, BLOCK THEM AND MOVE ON: on tumblr, people curate their own dashboards! So if you see someone spamming their newest interest or posting content that you don't like, just either unfollow them so you don't see them on your dashboard (maybe explain what a dashboard is too...), or block them if they're in the tags you like to check in on. Saves so much hassle and stress rather than getting angry or upset when you can just erase them from your tumblr.

Some other points that could be mentioned:

Might be more important than below, but how to block tags and filter content - hate spiders? Filter them out of your tumblr experience by blocking the tag #spider + all it's synonyms. (Note, this will only work if people tag their stuff appropriately here!! So if someone writes #sp1der, filtering it won't work.)

Adding onto/commenting other people's posts is encouraged (most of the time - some exceptions apply) - for example, adding onto/writing your own story based on the prompts that are posted by other blogs

Please don't guilt trip ppl into liking/reblogging your content, it feels gross (eg like/reblog this or else xyz bad event will happen)

Not everyone likes being tagged in those chain meme things (eg tag 5 ppl you follow and ask them what their fave, idk ice cream flavour is)

Don't be afraid to follow/unfollow ppl whenever you want - sometimes someone will have a new interest and might start spamming your dashboard, or an artist might start posting only NSFW stuff after a load of cutesy art

Follower number doesn't matter! - no one but you can see that anyway. Note numbers don't matter! We're all just having fun here
