Katsuki Bakugou, my friends.

His behavior was problematic but never once portrayed as romantic at the same time. Katsuki said and did awful abusive things, and he also chose to be better when he was given the chance. If you’re still hung up on chapter 1 Katsuki now then I don’t think you’ve been reading the same story I have.

I can’t speak for everyone, but I’m not shipping Izuku with an irredeemable abuser. I’m shipping him with his most important person. His narrative foil. His childhood friend who made awful mistakes and then made it right when he saw he was wrong. The person Izuku looks up to and strives to emulate, despite their past struggles.

Bakudeku is so good because of how flawed these boys are, and how hard they’ve worked to get over it, and how much they matter to each other after it all

guys i fucking love muppets. me and my friend watched a few muppet movies on the weekend and i won't lie i teared up a few times just because muppets are so cute and lovable and it's overwhelming. like i just loved them all so much so instantaneously it was almost too much. but that was mostly just during the first movie we watched, i got used to the muppetness of it all after a while. but basically i'm putting "watch every muppet movie" on my bucket list. and its insane that anything this perfect is even allowed to exist to be honest. nobody is doing it like the muppets !! i love the muppets !!!

#if they ever make another muppets movie i will be TELEPORTING to the cinema #oh my god i need to draw muppets #i was just thinking a little while ago that i needed to get back into drawing adventure time because there is a certain 'little guy'#quality that has been missing from my art lately. but i go through things in phases so ive been giving adventure time a rest #but muppets are like sufficiently sweet and little and perfect. i need to draw them !#and with my adventure time art i really like to see how i kind of worked out all the little details of how i like to draw them #like ive really got my jakes down to a science #thats the tuff thing with drawing cartoonish characters. making them have the essence of the real thing while still putting your own spin #on it. but very rewarding too. lots of fun.

I'd honestly kind of forgotten that there was anyone else in this film but Bette and Joan but my god‚ in his first #major film role‚ he's amazing! and funny! easy to forget just how funny this film is‚ in amongst the horror and the sadness and the waste #of it all. beautiful little film‚ i know it has its followers and is appreciated as a high camp classic‚ but it's honestly so much more #than just that too. Aldrich (truly one of The great genre directors) does wonders with sharp‚ unforgiving black and white photography #(beautifully contrasted with the soft warmer footage of younger J and B from their hollywood heyday). masterfully constructed too

#specifically thinking about the strikes last year #and that one guy who blatantly said they were literally just planning to hold out until people started losing their homes #writing is the BACKBONE of the film and television industry and hollywood desperately doesn't want to pay their writers #modern cinema is a hellscape where 90% of what's made are mediocre sequels spin-offs or remakes #new raw talent has to claw their way in around the flood of nepo babies that can't act or write and have no real talent or charm #they're just born with connections and enough money to fall back on that they risk nothing by shooting their shot in the industry #because they're GUARENTEED to get something without much effort to be good at it
