In a world where it's not on trend to live a Christian lifestyle, I would like to see my generation become some of the most radical, Jesus loving FREAKS of all time.
There was a time I felt the need to hide my faith. I felt it didn't fit me and was an out of place aspect of my identity. Felt the need to seperate myself from my Jesus because you can't be A, B or C and be Christian... right? I was so wrong. I was wrong to think I must deny my individuality to be a follower of Christ or deny my Christ to be an individual.
I was ashamed of Christ in all His glory, but He was not ashamed of me in all my filth. He is proud to call me child as I should be proud to call Him Father. I am now.
In the Bible, demons knew Paul by name. Young brothers and sisters in Christ... let us live our lives so that we never have any doubt whether Hell fears us.
"But whosever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in Heaven." Matthew 10:33

why is religious Christmas imagery all so joyful and pleasant? where is the inherent horror of the birth of Christ? A mother is handed her newborn child, wailing and innocent. Her hands come away sticky. Red. Simply by giving her son life she has already killed him. He is doomed from the beginning. Her love will not save him from suffering. Because the thing cradled in her arms is not a baby, it is a sacrifice: born amongst the other bleating animals whose blood will one day be spilled in the name of what demands it. the night is silent with anticipation. Mary, did you know? That your womb was also a grave?

I'm convinced there's nothing more Christian Punk than praising God with some kick ass, deep as hell, genuine worship songs and yelling "F**K YEAH!" when it gets to that one deep part that always makes you tear up.

Kat is a Goth Christian yet leftists want people to see Christian as being synonymous with "repressed God fearing fool"
Kat Von D is A GOTH CHRISTIAN
Ned Flanders is a fucking cartoon character
he is not the face of modern christianity/christians
Kat is becoming a new face of Modern Christianity and that's so beautiful and should unbrainwash people, open their minds and their hearts/etc
Christian is NOT synonymous with right wing moron people
ANYONE can be believe in Jesus

Bull Headed vs. Graceful Correction: Lessons from Apollos and the Way of God
Don’t be “bullheaded”… my grandmother used to always say. A bull is a stubborn beast who gets its way in the world, has to be caged, and is feared to destroy the China shops of souls. When it comes to disagreement, especially around theological things, we must always be much less than bullish. We must grow… together. In the heart of the New Testament, nestled within the Acts of the Apostles,…

Death is a reminder of what we lost in mankind's fall
Opinion. Not fact, not truth.
I write my posts in a black and white manner. I mean to say whatever I say as pointed fact.... truth. I believe that truth is that way, solid, unyielding, unbending, unbreaking. Like the character and nature of God.
But what I am about to say is mere opinion. I have nothing scriptural to back it up. It is an observation, but still one I hold on to.
I don't believe that death is meant to be easy. I don't believe we can come to death with a nonchalant attitude. It is meant to hurt. It is never meant to be casual. It is a reminder --- a harsh reminder --- of all that we lost in the fall.
Grappling with death is God's way of showing us that this life is not permanent.... and never will be. That holding on to this life is futile... and meant to be. That the decay of age, and time, and universal entropy are inescapable --- but likewise, that there is more.
Augustine died 1700 years ago. But his words and life live on. Luther died 500 years ago, but God still uses him today. Someday I will die.... and my prayer is simply that my words be found truth-full and truthful. Death does not come without hope.
There is a single verse I have memorized and turned back to time and time again. It is the heart and essence --- the very definition of --- what it means to be "Christian". And it's found in the Book of Revelation.
It must be pointed out that the verse before this talks about Satan.... thus the "they overcame him..." is a reference back to the great dragon, the deciever, the devil....
And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die. (Revelation 12:11)
They were not afraid to die.
Sondi, my mentor and dearest friend, lying on her deathbed, uttered to her husband "Trust God." She was not afraid to die. Even as Necrotizing Fasciitis was eating her alive... she did not fear death.
In 2010, when I faced death myself, my words to my wife were "God knows what He's doing." There was no fear.
And yet..... when we view death in others.... it is meant to remind us...... Life in this world is not, and never was meant to be, permanent. That this world has been utterly corrupted by the fall... and death is a cold, hard picture of that reality.
I'm awake well past my bedtime. I'm pondering death because tomorrow I must grieve and let go of a pet that was precious to me. A pet who's heart has failed him. Death is a reminder of the fall. Of everything we lost..... and how in Christ, we still have hope.... but only in Christ.

War Is an Obscenity, and It Becomes More So With Each Passing Year
Putin’s Threats to Use Nukes and Its Contradiction With Authentic Christianity The Ongoing Obscenity of the Specter of Nuclear War by Rev. Paul J. Bern (Matthew chapter 26, verse 52; chapter 5 verse 9) The war in Ukraine has lasted more than 18 months, with no end in sight as of this writing. At the height of its military operations, the United States was spending $60 billion per month on the…
