Delving into the Depths of Thought: A Review of "The Problems of Philosophy" by Bertrand Russell
Tumblr media
Bertrand Russell's "The Problems of Philosophy" stands as a timeless exploration of some of the most fundamental questions that have puzzled humanity for centuries. In this concise yet profound work, Russell embarks on a journey to unravel the mysteries of existence, knowledge, and reality, offering readers a thought-provoking introduction to the field of philosophy.
At the heart of Russell's inquiry lies the quest for knowledge and understanding. Through clear and accessible prose, he tackles age-old questions such as the nature of reality, the existence of an external world, and the limits of human perception. Drawing on insights from logic, mathematics, and the natural sciences, Russell challenges readers to critically examine their assumptions and beliefs, encouraging them to engage in rational inquiry and intellectual curiosity.
One of the key strengths of "The Problems of Philosophy" is Russell's ability to distill complex philosophical concepts into digestible and engaging discussions. Whether discussing the nature of space and time, the concept of truth, or the problem of induction, Russell presents ideas with clarity and precision, making them accessible to readers of all backgrounds. His use of concrete examples and thought experiments helps to illuminate abstract concepts, allowing readers to grasp the underlying principles more easily.
Moreover, Russell's work is not merely an intellectual exercise but also a call to action. Throughout the book, he emphasizes the importance of critical thinking and skepticism, urging readers to question authority and think for themselves. By encouraging a spirit of open-minded inquiry, Russell empowers readers to challenge received wisdom and explore alternative perspectives, fostering intellectual independence and freedom of thought.
In addition to its philosophical insights, "The Problems of Philosophy" also offers a historical perspective on the development of philosophical thought. Russell traces the evolution of philosophical ideas from ancient times to the modern era, highlighting key figures and movements that have shaped the discipline. By situating philosophical problems within their historical context, Russell provides readers with a deeper appreciation for the ongoing dialogue that has characterized philosophical inquiry throughout history.
Overall, "The Problems of Philosophy" is a timeless classic that continues to inspire and provoke readers with its profound insights and thought-provoking questions. Russell's lucid prose, rigorous analysis, and commitment to intellectual honesty make this book a must-read for anyone interested in philosophy, logic, or the pursuit of knowledge. In a world filled with uncertainty and confusion, Russell's work serves as a beacon of clarity and reason, guiding readers on a journey of philosophical discovery and self-reflection.

The Philosophy of Truth Seeking
The philosophy of truth seeking involves the rigorous and systematic pursuit of truth and understanding across various domains of knowledge. It encompasses the methodologies, ethical considerations, and intellectual virtues necessary for discerning what is true from what is false. This philosophy is fundamental to disciplines such as epistemology, science, and ethics, and it plays a crucial role in how individuals and societies form beliefs, make decisions, and establish values.
At its core, truth seeking is driven by the belief that truth is valuable and worth pursuing for its own sake, as well as for its practical benefits. Philosophers have long debated the nature of truth, the methods by which it can be discovered, and the criteria for determining its validity. Some key aspects of the philosophy of truth seeking include:
Epistemology: The study of knowledge and justified belief. It explores the nature, scope, and limits of human knowledge, as well as the methods for acquiring and validating it.
Scientific Method: A systematic approach to inquiry that relies on observation, experimentation, and empirical evidence to develop and test hypotheses about the natural world.
Intellectual Virtues: Traits such as open-mindedness, intellectual humility, critical thinking, and perseverance that are essential for effective truth seeking.
Ethical Considerations: The moral responsibilities associated with seeking and disseminating truth, including honesty, integrity, and respect for evidence.
Truth seeking is not just an individual endeavor but also a collective one. It involves the collaborative efforts of communities of scholars, scientists, and thinkers who build upon each other's work, challenge each other's assumptions, and refine their methods over time. In this way, the philosophy of truth seeking underpins the progress of human knowledge and the advancement of society.

Unveiling the Veil: A Rational Look at Superstitions and Their Grip on Society
Unveiling the Veil: A Rational Look at Superstitions and Their Grip on Society #Superstitions #RationalThought #Skepticism #CulturalBeliefs #HumanPsychology #CriticalThinking #MythBusting
Are you superstitious? Are you superstitious? Do you catch yourself uttering a silent prayer when you break a mirror, or feel a jolt of unease at the sight of an empty ladder beckoning you to pass beneath its frame? This isn’t just a nod to ancient customs or a playful engagement with folklore; it’s an admission ticket to a globally sprawling, time-honored club of superstition. This club, which…

I am not the asshole, and I think this whole thing is stupid, but I was promised that if I sent my side of things to this blog I could pick the hotel for our honeymoon, and I am marrying a man who once tried to take me BACKPACKING of all things, so this ask has become a necessity. In light of that:
AITA (I'm NOT) for planning the seating for our wedding in a logical way?
I got engaged in June, apparently in part because of my partner writing in to this blog (I don't know how to find or link to his posts, but I'm the man who got the cat to bite him, if that rings any bells?). At any rate, for the past ten weeks, I've been in the beginning stages of planning our wedding with my fiance, whom I have been secretly attempting to remove from the planning process as much as possible. I have ALREADY been given a list of his must-haves, and I AM incorporating as many of them as our budget allows. This has NOTHING to do with the emotional side of the event, and EVERYTHING to do with the fact that this is an idiot with no real planning experience or taste who thinks he knows more than me.
For the most part, this has worked very well. I'm the one who's been collating all the contact information for things, so I just replaced all the emails for the tacky companies with false addresses, responded to his inquiries as the companies to say the date was already booked or the price was outside our budget, and let him filter his way to the ones I DO like on his own. I also made a fuss about being "willing to compromise" on the few things he's picked I'm completely fine with in the hopes I can use it to make him compromise later, and have been humming portions of the songs I want on the playlist in the hopes he'll think he came up with the idea to include them himself.
None of this is the real problem. The PROBLEM is that he is deliberately ruining my seating chart, by moving our horrible friend's seat when I'm not looking.
The man in question dated both of us at one point in our VERY early 20s (both ended BADLY), is generally the messiest person we know, and will almost certainly get sloppy drunk and try to make a speech IF he does make an appearance. I'm banking on the fact that he won't, because he's also ridiculously wealthy, and will almost certainly send us some very lavish gift in lieu of coming.
He is SUPPOSED to be sitting beside my fiances aunt, at the same table as his grandmother, his work friend, and her girlfriend, because all four of these women are stone cold terrors who I believe are more than capable of keeping him in line on the slim chance he does come. My fiance INSISTS they won't be able to have any fun if they're running interference all night, and keeps moving him to sit at the head table instead. You know, where WE are. I finally caught him switching the label magnets on my planning board last night, and confronted him.
I tried leveraging how much I've been compromising already, that he's almost certainly going to RSVP no, and that I shouldn't have to deal with him on our big night. My fiance said he knew about all the fake emailing and such, and told me, and I QUOTE: "Look, the mind game shit was hot when it was just about the colour scheme or whatever, but I actually care about this. So you can suffer with everybody else, or you can do the normal thing and not invite a guy you hate to our wedding, you weirdo."
I said that if I did that, it would take out half his groomsmen, he called me an asshole and said I should go explain this to "literally any rational adult" so they could tell me I was in the wrong, and now here we are.
Would you recommend calling my fiance's bluff, since he doesn't want the man sitting near us either? Or should I focus on ensuring he'll turn down the invitation no matter what, so the matter of where he WON'T be sitting can be a moot point?
What are these acronyms?

starving — lip gallagher x reader
Tumblr media
☄. *. ⋆
content warnings and genre: swearing, cunnilingus, face-sitting, nose-sitting, dirty talk, spanking — smut
˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚
synopsis: he's got the biggest, most appealing nose you've ever seen. all you wanna do it feel it inside you.
✧.*
lip gallagher loved eating you out—more than anything. he loved the sight of your pretty, sopping pussy catching the light in the rays of light that peaked through his bedroom curtains. he loved inhaling your sweet, intoxicating scent of arousal. he loved the glacé, delicious taste of your juices that flooded his tongue. most of all, he way your body trembled beneath his touch—how your thighs shook as he groped your ass, spreading your cunt apart to devour you the right way. or when he'd crawl in between your legs, legs shakily wrapped around his neck while you tugged at his locks. it was insatiable—he couldn't get enough of you.
on this particular day, you had chosen to do something different, something more vulnerable and compromising. he knew you loved his nose—the shape, the sheer volume and size—so when he called you into his room, you didn't know what to expect.
“i wanna try something with you,” you raised an eyebrow at his statement, curiosity awakening. “you've always had a thing for my nose, am i right?”
your cheeks flushed at the brutally honest question. of course, there wasn't a single gram of dishonesty in his inquiry—the both of you knew all too well what the answer was. you shrugged, almost casually. “i mean, yeah. you've got a pretty nose, lip.” he smirked at the answer, as if he was pleased with it.
“how would you feel about sitting on it?”
there was no rational way for you to react. the question made you shiver, his words shooting straight to your core. you scoffed, breaking into a nervous laugh. “that's ridiculous, lip.” he gave you a look, as if he was telling you he wasn't buying your act.
“is that how we're gonna play?” he fixed his posture, leaning forward as he straightened his back, sitting on the bed, just a few feet away from you. “gonna act like you don't want it as much as i do?” he could see right through your act, a malevolent smirk playing on his face. he analyzed the way your walls crumbled, the way you squeezed your thighs for an ounce of friction. he leaned back, propping his elbows against the back of his neck, using two fingers to motion you over.
while hesitant, you knew you couldn't resist him. his smile only widened when you crawled over to him, straddling his hips before pressing your lips to his. the world seemed to fade away as your fingers tangled in his hair, pulling him closer. his arms wrapped around your waist, pulling you even tighter against him. the softness of his lips against yours sent shivers down your spine, and you felt the heat between you intensify with each fleeting moment. as the kiss deepened, the world around you ceased to exist, leaving only the two of you lost in the enchantment of the moment.
“panties, babygirl,” he muttered under his breath. he licked a long stripe along your neck with his tongue. you let out a soft gasp as you obliged, hastily pulling down your shorts and panties, leaving your cunt bare as the cool air sent tingles down your spine. “just like that, keep going.” you followed his directions, tossing your panties aside.
you melted into his touch, bare cunt grinding against his clothed boner. he let out a soft grunt, hands gripping your ass, pulling your cheeks apart as he pressed you further into his boner. with a free hand, he tugged his shorts off, proceeding in nothing but his boxers.
“c'mere, baby,” he cooed, motioning you to position yourself above his face. you grew more shy by the second, but you listened to him, holding onto the headboard in order to hover above his face. “look at my girl, dripping all over my face already.” you whined, knowing there was some truth to his statement—you were wet and it was an understatement, slick dripping down your thighs, drops forming and threatening to spill onto his face.
lip was a dedicated boyfriend, and he knew just how to please you. that was precisely why he wasted no time, hands wrapped around the back of your thighs to slam you onto his face, your arousal practically drenching him. you moaned out his name, a string of curses passing your swollen lips as he went to work, tongue pushing past your cunt. he lapped at your juices, tongue wrapping around your clit as he gave it a few aggressive sucks. his tongue was way past your entrance, lapping at your tight walls, sucking at your sensitive bundle of nerves. “lip, fuck—too fucking much,” your moans only encouraged him, your eyes locking as he swirled his tongue around. that wasn't the end, though. it was only the beginning.
when he grabbed onto your hips to lift you up, you were taken aback, but the shock didn't last long. he slammed you right onto his nose, hips holding you in place as he began to bounce you—up and down, up and down. your cries of ecstasy were like music to his ears, his nose acting as your own personal sex toy. it didn't go deep, but it pushed well past your entrance, the width caressing your inner walls. he brought you back up, nose pressing harshly into your clit as he inhaled your sweet slick, right before he began to bounce you once more.
“you like it, don't you? using my nose to get yourself off?” his words were hard to make out, but you understood him. at a certain point, you didn't need him doing all the work anymore—you found yourself bouncing willingly, your orgasm creeping up on you as he groped your ass, leaving definite bruises. “so good lip, 'm so close,” you cried out, your bounces growing quicker and more aggressive as you found yourself grinding onto his nose, loving the way it made you feel.
when he stuck his tongue out, the pleasure only doubled. the strong, wet muscle gave him leverage as much as it gave you pleasure—you swore you could see stars. you pushed harder against his face, his tongue caressing your outer bits while his nose did all the inside work. when you came, you did it was a sob, fingers grabbing onto his hair for dear life, pushing him even deeper into your wet cunt. he groaned from beneath you, lapping up all the wetness you had to offer him as you rode out your orgasm.
you were a fool for thinking this would be the last time.

Could I request reader x Yandere Giant? I feel like you'd write this concept so well!!
Tumblr media
CW: ridiculous size difference kink, living fleshlight, non-con, oral, cummflation, anal
Fear gripped (Reader) as they helplessly swung from the tree they had landed in. Just the day before (Reader) was boarding a plane, excited to travel with the opportunity to continue their learning, studying to become a professor of anthropology. Tragically, five hours into the seventeen hour flight something went wrong with the plane, sending it careening through the air and falling in a nose dive back down towards the earth. (Reader) wasn't sure how it all happened, but suddenly there was a painful amount of wind pressure inside the plane, and their seat was sucked out.
They had been lucky enough to not die, their seat getting caught in a tree during the fall, however they were now trapped with no way down. The drop was still too high to land safely without breaking anything, and the branch the seat had lodged itself into was too far away from the trunk for an attempt to shimmy down. So they were stuck, too afraid to move and cause themselves to fall further. Helplessly, (Reader) began crying and screaming for help.
"Goddamnit! I'm not an outdoors person, I can't get down!" (Reader) bemoaned their predicament, screaming more to vent than to actually attract help, not knowing if anyone else survived the crash. "Help! Me!"
The anthropology student cried themselves weak.
(Reader) had just began nodding off, unable to hold their eyes open, when a loud earthquake rumbled the forest, shaking (Reader's) seat dangerously. The booming shakes repeated rhythmically, becoming louder and shaking (Reader) more violently.
"Stop! Stop! I'm going to fall!" (Reader) wasn't sure who they were crying out to, possibly God, pleading only because the fear of dying overrode their rational thinking.
It continued closer, frightening (Reader) into gripping their seat belt for dear life. As the sound became louder, the more it resembled footsteps, walking up to the tree (Reader) hung from. The thundering echoed from behind (Reader).
A hand large enough to wrap around (Reader's) ribcage grabbed the chair and yanked it out of the branch, lifting (Reader) up to meet their "savior" face to face. A large man taller than (Reader's) family home stood almost fully naked. Even from their position strapped to a chair, (Reader) could tell that the monster's face was more than half their height in length.
"What an odd little bird." The giant's deep voice rumbled out, reverberating in (Reader's) rib cage like the bass of a suped up car.
Refusing to believe that what (Reader) was seeing was real, they pointed a finger at the being, shaking harder than a chihuahua while they (not-so) confidently exclaimed "I'm not a bird!"
Bright green eyes the color of the trees surrounding (Reader) twinkled with amusement. The huge man brought (Reader) closer, his skin pleasantly smelled like dirt after rainfall in spring. "Oh, is that so?" He teased, overjoyed by the mixture of fear and embarrassment painted visibly on (Reader's) face. "But you are perched in a tree like a bird, and you squawk like a bird.."
Salty tears dribbled down their dirty cheeks. "Please don't kill me." (Reader) begged, quickly giving up their (unconvincing) facade of bravery.
"Kill you? I would never.." the giant chuckled, carrying the still strapped in (Reader) in his hand as he began back the way he came. "If you were able to survive a fall like that, perhaps it was fate that we should meet."
Their nerves tingled at his words. "How.. did you know I fell?"
A roaring laughter shook the trees and nearly burst (Reader's) ear drums. "You are quite adorable in your stupidity, little bird!"
(Reader's) questions were outright ignored for the rest of the trip, only occasionally hearing a chuckle or a 'hmph' in response to their frightened inquiries. The giant brought (Reader) deeper into the mountain, revealing a large cave tunneling into it's side, obviously the giant's home, decorated with ornate wooden carvings and drapes meticulously sewn out of leaves, similar to his loin cloth.
He only spoke after setting (Reader) down on a handmade table. "Are you going to tell me your name, or shall I continue calling you bird?"
Unbuckling as fast as (Reader) could, their leg muscles were weak from the plane crash, so what they had intended to be a show of bravery, standing tall in the face of uncertainty, was more like the wobbling of a newborn deer, knees bonking together pitifully. "Not until you tell me your name first!"
"Hah! You couldn't pronounce my name, bird. My name is the sound of the rapid river rushing down this mountain." A hissing growl hummed in the back of his throat.
"Okay, Growley, my name is (Reader)."
The giant smiled, pulling a stool up to sit beside the table (Reader) stood on. "It's a pleasure to meet you."
Because he sounded sincere (Reader) struggled to remain angry, reminding themselves that this was a possibly dangerous stranger was difficult when he was acting so charismatic. "Thank you.. for getting me out of that tree, I guess.. But I should be looking for an open area without trees, or better, the crash site, so when rescue comes they'll find me."
The smile drooped on "Growley's" lips, a conflicted grimace taking it's place. "I'm sorry to break it to you (Reader), but no one is coming for you."
"What?! Why??" (Reader) loudly cried out, heart shattering painfully in their chest.
"My island is protected by magic. It is concealed from all eyes."
(Reader) sat down, trying not to have a panic attack. "Would they be able to see me from the water?"
"You would have to be quite far from my island before it's protection waned. You would drown before rescue arrived."
They slumped down further, laying flat against the wood, focusing on their breathing. "Oh."
"Do not be perturbed, little bird. Our meeting was fate, as I have said, so I am confident that you will learn to think of this as your home as well."
"Fuck your fate." (Reader) wearily whined.
A sigh shook the furniture. "I have been alone for a very long time. For hundreds of years I have prayed to the spirits of the universe that they would resurrect another giant so I may have someone to speak to. I was desperate. So when I saw the giant creature flying high above me, having difficulties in it's flight, close enough to the ground to interfere with the magic bubble.." (Reader) sat up, face twisted in rage. "I trusted the spirits, and helped bring the monster down faster."
The bottom lip on (Reader) quivered. "What did you do?"
There was no remorse on his face as Growley responded. "I acted on impulse, and knocked you out of the sky with a boulder."
(Reader) shuffled away, hysterical. "You-you-you!"
"Don't curse me, little bird, please. You have no idea the torment I've suffered, alone with the corpses of my family."
They shakily stood, and began running towards the edge of the table. Growley's gnarled hand effortlessly scooped (Reader) up, unfazed by their fists weakly slamming into his fingers.
"I know how frightened you must be, but this was fate! You were sent to me from the spirits. And with the spirits mercy, you will be blessed to live with me for the rest of my life.."
Using his nails, Growley pulled (Reader's) pants off, exposing their bare lower half. They clamped their thighs shut while crying out in protest, but it was too late for bargaining; he had been alone for long enough, and was desperate for companionship.
(Reader) was incapable of fighting back as they were lifted with one hand, pressing their bare ass to the giant's face. With his free hand he stretched one leg to the side so he could look at (Reader's) everything. They couldn't see what was happening over his hand clamped on their chest. They squeezed their eyes shut in anticipation, but popped them right back open when something hot and wet ran across their naked groin.
"EW!" (Reader) screamed, feeling a tongue larger than their face taste their body. It roughly pressed against their anus and ran upward over their sensitive organ.
He continued doing so over and over as (Reader's) body began reacting against their wishes.
They could only hope that he couldn't taste their fluids as they became aroused, the tongue still prodding at their ass and folds.
The hands holding (Reader) up changed positions, cradling the body with both hands, but now holding up their legs with his thumbs, pressing them back till (Reader's) knees brushed against their face. The stretching was discomforting, but the aching was forgotten as Growley stuck their entire pelvis in his lips, sucking hard as his tongue tried to force its way into their ass. (Reader) couldn't take their mind off of the assault, the suction on their sensitive glans sending convulsions up their trembling thighs. A knot inside (Reader) formed, building like a wave, threatening to come crashing down.
"Stop, I'm going to cum!"
(Reader) dug their nails into his fingers as they released inside their kidnapper's mouth, moaning loudly as they did so despite their attempt to conceal their pleasure.
The giant removed (Reader) from his lips, swapping them back to being held by one hand, and dropped his only piece of clothing. "I cannot wait any further, little bird." His eyes were almost apologetic as he lowered (Reader), giving them a full view of his erection. The length of his enlarged dick was almost as large as his face, making (Reader) weep in anticipation.
"Please don't!"
Their entrance was already wet from the tongue poking at it, wasting no time in slowly pressing the tip into (Reader's) clenched ass. The pain was like getting ripped open, having something so large pushed into them. The giant groaned with pleasure, and rammed (Reader) further onto his cock.
Like masturbating with a flesh light, he used (Reader's) tight bloody hole selfishly, fucking them as deeply as he could physically fit. The sounds of his grunts drowned out (Reader's) heaving sobs, moving faster and faster, almost cracking their ribs under the force of his grip.
A loud growl escaped as reached his climax, cumming inside (Reader's) gut, extending out their midsection as he bloated them up. Yanking (Reader) off his dick, jizz leaked out of their swollen bottom as he pressed his slit against (Reader's) lips before they could clench their jaw shut. Releasing the rest of his load into their mouth, shooting so much into their throat that they believed they could feel the smelly cum hit the bottom of their stomach.
When he finally finished, (Reader) was a mess, covered in his sperm and spilling his seed out of both ends. Growley kissed the top of (Reader's) sweaty head lovingly, overwhelmed by just how sexy they looked ballooned out by his love.
"I told you it was fate, little bird. Rest now, for we have three hundred and twenty-eight years of loneliness to make up for~"

Pairing: Sir Crocodile x Fem!Reader
Rating: EXPLICIT (18+)
Summary: Crocodile has only ever known how to devour. Everything he wants, he consumes until there’s nothing left to take—but he can’t seem to get enough of you.
Warnings: SMUT! Obsessive behavior, hookplay, slight voice kink, overstimulation, creampie
Crocodile has only ever known how to devour.
He’s been gluttonous for as long as he can remember, his hunger an untamable beast incapable of being satiated. Everything he wants, he consumes until there’s nothing left to take.
And when he’s done feasting—when the euphoria finally fades and the empty feelings he’s always felt return—he searches for another sacrifice. He’s never satisfied.
Maybe that’s why you unnerve him.
Intrigue would be the better word, but there’s too much truth in it—a kind of vulnerability he refuses to acknowledge. Because then he would have to admit that you aren’t part of his plan to steal Alabasta. You aren’t a fly caught in the intricate web he’s masterfully weaved for years.
You’re an outlier—the one deviation he allows himself to indulge in, all while fearing that the deeper he sinks his teeth, the sweeter you’ll become.
“You’re quiet.”
Crocodile blinks as he’s ripped from his musings. His hooded eyes find you lounging comfortably on the settee across from him. The robe you’re wearing hangs low on your shoulders, causing the fabric to dip low enough to reveal the soft flesh of your breasts. His eyes must linger, because you lift your sleeves with an impish smirk.
Crocodile would laugh if his throat didn’t feel so dry—if he didn’t enjoy your soft teasing, this ability to act chaste as if he hasn’t had you writhing beneath him, debased in every conceivable way.
“Well, more quiet than usual,” you clarify.
Crocodile remains silent as you continue to stare. You’re subtle with your examinations, trying to decipher anything in his micro-expressions to gauge what you believe must be wrong, but he gives you nothing.
You see too much of him as is.
“There were pirates in Nanohana again,” he sighs. A cloud of smoke wafts from the cigar that dangles between his lips. “It’s becoming tiresome.”
The lie falls easily from his lips, just like the many others he has told over the years. False grandiose stories and faux acts of heroism that make him appear every part the savior, and never the villain that he truly is.
He can’t help himself, especially not when your eyes linger on his face with adoration, and something sweeter—something that drives him mad with how he can’t quite place it.
All he knows for certain is that nobody has ever looked at him the way you do, and like every precious thing in his life, he hoards. Your smile. Your laughter. The feel of your fingers tenderly tracing the scar on his face as you lay beside him. This is his—you are his, and he refuses to let go.
The rational voice in his head berates him, hisses about his ever-growing mistake. It demands that he be done with you for good, but the darkness inside of him rages at the thought.
He hasn’t finished consuming. He still wants more.
And you are always so eager to give.
“Is there anything I can do?” you ask sweetly—so sweet that Crocodile almost misses how suggestive your inquiry is.
You hold his gaze, not backing down or shying away.
“To help relieve the stress?”
You’re so thoughtful, even when you’re wrong. In anyone else Crocodile would find the characteristic annoying. He has condemned people for far less, yet he desires it from you—to know he is on your mind, that he occupies a space that nobody else does.
“C’mere," he commands, exhaling a final puff of smoke and tossing the used cigar into an ashtray as you lift from the settee.
He leans back in his chair. His legs instinctively spread as you draw near, making room for you to stand between them.
The back of his hook trails up your thigh, and Crocodile grins as you let out a soft sigh that is all too encouraging. You’re lovely like this, always so receptive to anything he chooses to give.
Goosebumps form across your exposed skin as Crocodile brings his hook higher, slipping beneath your robe and continuously rising until it rests between your breasts.
“First things first…” his voice trails off as his eyes lift to your face again.
Your breathing is shaky, but he sees no fear in your eyes. Only desire. The same, insatiable hunger that aches within him.
“Gotta get rid of this.”
Crocodile yanks his hook down, ripping your robe in one clean swipe. The fabric pools at your feet, all while Crocodile takes a moment to admire the sight before him. No matter how many times he sees you naked before him, it always feels like the first time—another unusual effect you have on him, but he’s too drunk on the need to have you to analyze it further.
His dick strains against his pants, begging to be buried in your warmth.
He pulls you onto his lap, and you know exactly what to do. It makes his lips curl into a sharp smile as you reach down, hands shaking while you unzip his pants and free him.
Crocodile grunts as your hands wraps around the hard flesh of his dick. You pump it slowly—so devastatingly slow that his hips jerk forward of their own volition, chasing the delicious friction that he craves.
Your finger swipes over the tip of his dick, precum staining your hand as you continue to jerk him off with slow, methodical movements that drive him mad.
“Enough,” he hisses, sounding almost pained.
He positions you above his throbbing dick, lining it straight with your dripping pussy—already slick with your own arousal.
He’s rarely gentle, and even less so now as he slams you down on his lap, burying himself to the hilt inside of your tight, aching cunt.
You let out a sharp gasp, blissed out by the feeling of being filled to the brim. Your velvety walls embrace him, keep Crocodile where you both need him, but he refuses to dwell.
His hips snap forward as he pumps inside of you with fervor, creating a vicious rhythm that has you bouncing on his dick.
“C’mon, fuck me back,” Crocodile encourages with a deep groan.
Fuck, you love his voice and he knows it. Love the deep, fucked-out rumble against your ear while he’s deep inside of you.
“S-shit,” you whimper as you slam down on him.
You try to meet his thrusts, try to fuck yourself on his dick the way you know he likes, but he’s impossible to match right now.
You lean forward, slinging your arms around his broad shoulders as he continues to use you. You trail open-mouth kisses across his jaw, soft moans and gasps escaping your lips with each powerful push.
Crocodile tilts his head slightly, his eyes are heavier than usual as he glances down at you, watching the way his dick disappears inside of you. The squelch of your needy cunt is like music to his ears, only rivaled by the sweet sounds you always make for him.
And he wants more. He always wants more.
Crocodile is careful not to hurt you with his hook as his arms come around you, pulling you tight against his chest as his thrusts grow frantic.
You cry into his shoulder, your voice cracking while Crocodile pumps his dick deeper into your sopping pussy—pushing you to your limit. He relishes how badly you want it.
Not just your own release, but his too.
“That’s it gorgeous,” your pussy clenches around him, ripping a desperate groan from his throat.  “Tell me…how good it feels.”
“Croco—ah, fuck—” your breath catches as he hits a particularly sweet spot inside you. You can feel yourself getting close, nearly there, all you need is a little push.
You reach down, rubbing desperate circles around your throbbing bud.
“’S so good—you’re s-so go—"
Your voice cuts out with a squeak. Your eyes nearly cross as you fall over the edge, ecstasy ripping through you so violently you almost cry. You come hard, gasping and gushing all over his dick. You are certain his pants are stained with the evidence of your orgasm, but you don’t have the mind to be apologetic or ashamed.
Crocodile watches with wicked fascination at how your legs tremble, how your come drips down his body, darkens his pants. It takes everything in him not to lean down to your lips and silence your cries with his tongue.
His hold on your waist tightens as he fucks you harder, chasing his own release now that you’ve given him yours. You whine—no, fucking sob as his dick continues to pound into you.
“Say my name,” he rasps.
“C-crocodile.” You match his name with each powerful thrust, “Crocodile. Crocodile. Croco—”
He slams up into you one last time, losing himself. His head rolls back, fingers digging painfully into your flesh and his hook nearly scrapes your thigh. He curses—chokes out your name as he comes hard inside of you, damn near sees stars as he fills you up.
You clench around him with a pathetic whine and he almost fucking loses it all over again.
“Do…do you feel better now?” you ask softly, resting your head against his clothed chest.
No, and he doubts he ever will. Not as long as you have this hold over him. The rational voice has gone silent—abandoned him completely— and only a single word is whispered in the dark crevice of his mind, chanted like a prayer.
Mine. Mine. Mine.

Good morning, Lavandula. Hope you don't mind I start off with the fluff requests first. Please kindly consider this Cyno fluff request: Based on Cyno's 'Least Favorite Food' voiceline about his desert rations.
The other Matras start noticing Cyno eating a pinkish jelly from a jar after mealtimes. Upon inquiry, they find out it was a jar of Zaytun Peach jelly you, the General's wife, made for him after he made a comment on how tasteless the rations were.
Please also kindly take as long as you need with this request; I have no qualms in waiting. Furthermore, by no means feel obligated to prioritize this request over your other requests.

Cyno x reader
I apologise for the long wait. I hope you still enjoy:)
Masterlist

The sun was high and scorching. The Matra that accompanied him on the trek into the east desert were sitting underneath the shade talking. Cyno was sitting by the little water hole enjoying the view. They had gotten plenty of intel so this hunt, as he liked to call it, would be a piece of cake. The Matra he had traveled with were new the career and it was his responsibility to teach them.
He stretched his limbs as he leaned his back against a palm tree. With his legs in a cross he brought his back onto his lap and started to rummage through it. “There it is…” he mumbled to himself as his long fingers wraps around the little lunchbox you had packed for him.
He brings the box out and places it on his left thigh. He then removes the bag and sets it close to his right so he can grab it should an enemy appear.
The little lid opens swiftly and the sweet aroma of the jelly welcomes him. The Mahamatra hummed in delight as he brings his little spoon down to the pink dessert. Finally he will be able to enjoy something tasteful. He could feel himself salivating at the thought.
“What do you have there, boss?” the tallest of the Matra asks as he studies the pink jelly.
“Damn that looks good!” the youngest chimes in.
“My wife made it for me. She knows how tasteless the rations are so she made me this jelly. Im grateful for having her. She’s always so very thoughtful” he hums. Before he left, you had stayed up all night in order to make him a bunch of jelly. The whole house had smelled zatuyn peach and your hands had been stained pink. He would need to return the favour when he gets back.
His underlings share a look as the general begins to eat. He pays them no mind and has his full attention on the sweet taste that envelops his tastebuds. Oh he can’t wait to get home to you.

Delving into Kantian Philosophy: A Review of "The Critique of Pure Reason" by Immanuel Kant
Tumblr media
Immanuel Kant's "The Critique of Pure Reason" stands as one of the most influential and enduring works in the history of philosophy, reshaping the landscape of metaphysics, epistemology, and the philosophy of mind. Published in 1781, this monumental treatise seeks to provide a comprehensive account of the nature, scope, and limits of human knowledge, offering profound insights into the nature of reality, the structure of the mind, and the conditions of possibility for knowledge.
At the heart of "The Critique of Pure Reason" is Kant's revolutionary concept of transcendental idealism, which posits that the mind plays an active role in shaping our experience of the world. Kant argues that the mind imposes certain fundamental concepts and categories—such as space, time, and causality—on our sensory perceptions, organizing them into a coherent and intelligible framework. Through his rigorous analysis, Kant seeks to uncover the a priori conditions that make experience possible, shedding light on the fundamental structures of human cognition.
One of the key themes of "The Critique of Pure Reason" is Kant's distinction between phenomena and noumena, or appearances and things-in-themselves. Kant argues that while we can only know phenomena as they appear to us through the filter of our cognitive faculties, there exists a realm of noumena that lies beyond the reach of human knowledge. This distinction has profound implications for Kant's philosophy, shaping his views on the limits of human understanding and the nature of metaphysical inquiry.
Moreover, "The Critique of Pure Reason" is notable for its meticulous analysis of the nature of space, time, and causality, which Kant identifies as the fundamental categories of human thought. Kant argues that these categories are not derived from experience, but rather constitute the necessary framework through which we interpret our sensory perceptions. By elucidating the synthetic a priori nature of these categories, Kant lays the groundwork for his transcendental idealism and challenges traditional empiricist and rationalist accounts of knowledge.
In addition to its groundbreaking philosophical insights, "The Critique of Pure Reason" is also celebrated for its rigorous methodology and systematic approach to philosophical inquiry. Kant's meticulous argumentation, intricate terminology, and careful exposition of concepts make "The Critique of Pure Reason" a challenging but rewarding read for scholars and philosophers alike. Kant's influence extends far beyond the boundaries of philosophy, shaping the development of disciplines such as psychology, physics, and linguistics, and leaving an indelible mark on the intellectual landscape of the modern world.
In conclusion, "The Critique of Pure Reason" by Immanuel Kant is a towering achievement in the history of philosophy, offering profound insights into the nature of human knowledge, the structure of the mind, and the limits of metaphysical inquiry. Kant's rigorous analysis, groundbreaking concepts, and systematic approach to philosophical inquiry make "The Critique of Pure Reason" a timeless classic that continues to inspire and challenge readers with its depth, complexity, and intellectual rigor.

Want - Jegulus - @stag-microfic - Day 13 - 1,049 words
James is absentmindedly twirling his quill between his fingers, the delicate feathered end brushing against his knuckles. Each subtle twist of his wrist sends ripples through his forearm, causing his muscles to tense and relax in a rhythmic dance. The tendons shift beneath his skin, making the veins on his hand stand out more prominently with every motion, as if they are straining to match the intensity of his focus. His grip on the quill is firm, yet the fluidity with which he moves it suggests a practiced ease, a habitual motion that betrays his deep concentration.
Across the table, Regulus is mesmerized by the movements, his usually sharp mind rendered blank by the hypnotic sight before him. His potions essay, typically the subject of his unwavering focus, now lies forgotten, the parchment still blank aside from a few smudged ink marks where his quill had slipped. He can't seem to look away from James' hands, the way they move so effortlessly, each gesture deliberate yet unconsciously graceful.
James eventually looks up, catching Regulus in his trance. Raising his brows in silent inquiry, James' eyes flicker with curiosity, and then amusement as Regulus continues to stare, his gaze fixed on the play of muscles and veins under James' skin. A slow, teasing smirk spreads across James' lips as he sets the quill down, breaking the spell. Regulus' eyes immediately snap up to meet James', heat creeping into his cheeks at being caught.
“What’s got you so distracted, Reg?” James asks, leaning forward slightly, his voice carrying a light teasing lilt that sends a shiver down Regulus’ spine.
Regulus scowls, attempting to reclaim his usual aloof demeanor. “I’m not distracted, Potter,” he retorts, his voice lacking its usual sharpness.
James hums, clearly unconvinced. “I don’t know,” he drawls, glancing pointedly at the nearly blank parchment in front of Regulus. “I’ve written more on my essay than you have on yours in the past hour. That’s saying something.”
Regulus doesn’t have a comeback, his mind too occupied with the way James' hands rest on the table now, fingers splayed casually. The rough callouses on his palms and knuckles catch the light, further proof of how much time James spends on the Quidditch pitch, gripping a broom or a Quaffle, his hands always in motion, always working.
His gaze remains fixated on James’ hands, his thoughts spiraling into a haze of desire. The contrast between the strength in James’ hands and the gentleness with which he handles the quill fuels a growing need in Regulus that he can no longer ignore. His chest tightens, the overwhelming urge to feel those hands on him drowning out any rational thought. The idea of continuing his essay feels absurd now, the words on the page blurring into meaningless scribbles. All that matters is James, and the electric tension crackling in the air between them.
James’ voice snaps him out of his thoughts, though the smirk playing on his lips shows he’s well aware of the effect he’s having. “Regulus?” he prompts, amusement lacing his tone.
Without a word, Regulus rises from his seat, his chair scraping lightly against the floor. His heart pounds in his chest, and he reaches out, grabbing James’ wrist with a firm grip. The contact sends a jolt of electricity up his arm, but he doesn’t pause to savor it. Instead, he tugs James to his feet, the words he can’t seem to find replaced by action.
James doesn’t protest, allowing himself to be led away from their secluded corner in the library. His expression shifts from amusement to curiosity as Regulus pulls him through the rows of towering bookshelves. The quiet rustling of pages and soft murmurs of other students fade into the background as they move deeper into the library, where the shelves are taller and the lighting dimmer.
Regulus doesn’t stop until they reach the back of the library, a secluded area rarely visited by others. The scent of aged parchment and leather-bound books fills the air, but all Regulus can focus on is the warmth of James’ skin beneath his fingers, the steady pulse he can feel under his touch. He releases James’ wrist and turns to face him, his breath coming in shallow bursts as he tries to form the words he needs to say.
But before he can speak, James steps closer, closing the distance between them. His playful smirk softens into something warmer, more intimate, as he lifts a hand to gently cup Regulus’ cheek. The touch is tender, the pad of his thumb brushing over Regulus’ cheekbone in a slow, soothing motion. The gentleness in James’ touch contrasts sharply with the burning intensity in Regulus’ chest, and he leans into the touch, his eyes fluttering shut for a brief moment.
“What’s going on in that pretty head of yours, Reg?” James asks, his voice low and filled with genuine curiosity.
Regulus’ eyes snap open, locking onto James’ gaze. He swallows hard, the words still eluding him, so instead of speaking, he acts. He steps forward, closing the last of the distance between them, and presses his lips to James’ in a kiss that’s both desperate and demanding. The quill falls forgotten to the floor as James responds immediately, his arms wrapping around Regulus’ waist, pulling him closer.
The kiss is everything Regulus needed—hot, consuming, and all-encompassing. James’ hands, the ones that had so thoroughly captivated Regulus moments ago, are now gripping him with the same strength and intensity. The feeling of those calloused fingers digging into his back sends a shiver down Regulus’ spine, and he deepens the kiss, pouring all his pent-up frustration and longing into it.
When they finally break apart, both of them are breathing heavily, foreheads pressed together as they try to catch their breath. James’ eyes are dark with desire, his lips swollen from the force of their kiss.
“Forget the essays,” Regulus finally murmurs, his voice rough with need. “I just want you.”
James’ lips curve into a smile, and he leans in to capture Regulus’ lips in another kiss, softer this time but no less intense. “You’ve got me, Reg,” he whispers against Regulus’ lips, his hands beginning to roam, exploring every inch of the body he’s already claimed as his.

Rigorous Methods of Inquiry and Their Role in Achieving Objectivity
Rigorous methods of inquiry are systematic approaches to investigation that aim to eliminate bias, enhance reliability, and allow us to achieve objectivity in our understanding of the world. These methods are used across disciplines, from philosophy to science, and each method emphasizes a set of standards that help ensure conclusions are as objective and valid as possible.
Here are some key rigorous methods of inquiry and how they contribute to objectivity:
1. Empiricism (Empirical Method)
Description: Empiricism is the method of acquiring knowledge through direct observation or experimentation. It emphasizes the collection of data through sensory experience, particularly in the natural sciences.
Contribution to Objectivity:
Data-Driven: Empiricism relies on observable and measurable evidence, reducing reliance on subjective opinions or personal biases.
Reproducibility: Findings must be reproducible by others, ensuring that the knowledge is not based on individual interpretations.
Falsifiability: Theories are tested and must be falsifiable, meaning they can be proven wrong if evidence contradicts them. This constant testing refines and improves knowledge, moving it toward objective truth.
2. Rationalism (Deductive Method)
Description: Rationalism involves reasoning and logic to derive knowledge, particularly through the deductive method. It involves starting with general principles and drawing specific conclusions from them.
Contribution to Objectivity:
Internal Consistency: Logic is independent of personal experience and can be universally applied. The emphasis on logical consistency helps ensure that conclusions follow from premises without bias.
Clarity in Argumentation: Deductive reasoning breaks complex problems into smaller, well-defined parts, helping eliminate subjective assumptions.
Mathematical and Philosophical Proofs: Formal systems in mathematics and logic are often considered paradigms of objectivity because they rely on clear, universal rules.
3. Scientific Method
Description: The scientific method is a process that involves making observations, forming hypotheses, conducting experiments, and analyzing results to draw conclusions. It combines both empirical and rational methods.
Contribution to Objectivity:
Controlled Experiments: By controlling variables, researchers can isolate specific factors and establish causal relationships, limiting external biases.
Peer Review: Scientific findings are subject to scrutiny and validation by the wider scientific community, ensuring that personal biases of individual researchers are minimized.
Statistical Analysis: The use of statistical methods allows for the quantification of uncertainty and the identification of patterns that are more likely to reflect objective reality than random chance.
4. Phenomenology
Description: Phenomenology is the study of subjective experience and consciousness. It involves a rigorous analysis of how things appear to us, but with careful reflection on how these perceptions relate to reality.
Contribution to Objectivity:
Bracketing: In phenomenology, "bracketing" is the practice of setting aside personal biases, assumptions, and presuppositions to focus purely on the phenomena being experienced. This helps eliminate subjective distortions in the investigation of consciousness and experience.
Universal Structures of Experience: While phenomenology studies subjective experiences, it aims to identify structures of experience that are common across individuals, providing insights that transcend personal perspective.
5. Critical Thinking and Analytical Philosophy
Description: Critical thinking involves rigorous analysis, evaluation of evidence, and the logical assessment of arguments. Analytical philosophy, a branch of philosophy, uses precise argumentation and linguistic clarity to assess philosophical problems.
Contribution to Objectivity:
Identifying Fallacies: By learning to identify logical fallacies and cognitive biases, critical thinking reduces the influence of faulty reasoning on conclusions.
Clear Definitions: In analytic philosophy, precision in language helps to clarify concepts and avoid ambiguities that could lead to subjective misinterpretations.
Systematic Doubt: By questioning assumptions and systematically doubting unverified beliefs, critical thinking helps individuals avoid dogma and achieve more objective conclusions.
6. Historical Method
Description: The historical method involves the critical examination of historical sources, contextualizing information within a time period, and synthesizing narratives based on evidence.
Contribution to Objectivity:
Source Criticism: Historians critically assess the reliability, bias, and perspective of sources, weighing them against one another to form a balanced, objective view of historical events.
Triangulation of Evidence: By using multiple sources and comparing them, historians reduce reliance on any one biased or incomplete account, moving closer to an objective understanding of history.
Contextualization: Placing events in their proper historical context helps avoid presentism (judging the past by modern standards) and enhances objectivity by understanding events within their own framework.
7. Hermeneutics
Description: Hermeneutics is the study of interpretation, particularly of texts. It involves analyzing and interpreting language, meaning, and context, commonly used in fields such as theology, literature, and law.
Contribution to Objectivity:
Interpretive Framework: Hermeneutics encourages the awareness of the interpreter's own biases, enabling a more reflective and critical approach to understanding texts.
Contextual Sensitivity: By emphasizing the importance of context, hermeneutics helps ensure that interpretations are not anachronistic or overly influenced by the interpreter’s preconceptions.
Dialectical Process: It involves a dialogue between the reader and the text, promoting a balanced, evolving understanding that seeks to approximate objectivity.
8. Game Theory and Decision Theory
Description: These methods involve mathematical models of decision-making, often under conditions of uncertainty. Game theory examines strategies in competitive situations, while decision theory studies rational choices.
Contribution to Objectivity:
Rational Decision-Making: By using formal models, these methods help individuals make decisions that are logically consistent and optimal given the available information, removing subjective impulses.
Objective Payoffs and Strategies: Game theory provides objective tools to analyze strategies that lead to optimal outcomes, independent of personal preferences or biases.
9. Quantitative and Qualitative Research
Description: Quantitative research uses numerical data and statistical methods to find patterns and correlations, while qualitative research explores meanings, experiences, and narratives in a more interpretive manner.
Contribution to Objectivity:
Quantitative Research: The use of large datasets and statistical analysis minimizes individual biases, offering a more objective understanding of phenomena. Methods like random sampling and control groups add rigor to research findings.
Qualitative Research: While more interpretive, qualitative research can still strive for objectivity through triangulation, thick descriptions, and transparency in the research process.
Rigorous methods of inquiry, from empiricism and rationalism to critical thinking and statistical analysis, provide frameworks that enhance objectivity by reducing personal bias, improving reproducibility, and systematically analyzing evidence. Each method contributes to objective understanding by ensuring that conclusions are not shaped by subjective perspectives or unverified assumptions, and instead rely on clear, structured, and replicable processes. These methods are indispensable in fields ranging from science to philosophy and help us approach truth in a methodical, unbiased manner.
