I just watched that interview Cody did on his Wheatley show with Randy and dude I understand the candy agenda now because wow this was a couple's interview like it was so cute

Cody and Randy crying about how wrestlemania was a full-circle moment for Cody, how it wouldn’t have happened without Randy, and how Randy took it upon himself to look after Cody, even tho he didn’t know what he was doing, but also how Cody was kinda looking after Randy too.

Before Cody can even say it, Randy humbly lowers his head, saying Cody doesn’t have to. But Cody insists he needs to say it. And as they’re both crying, Cody reaches out, squeezes Randy’s arm, and says the photo he has of them is the greatest thing ever. How at the end of the day, Cody made Randy proud. He did right by him.

I have an assortment of jovial stories about this man - but often I miss the mark on the most important aspect…Randy Orton took me under his wing; perhaps begrudgingly or not, but he did it sincerely. Up in the stands earlier in the day, in the car, in the locker room, on the apron…constantly delivering wisdom and functional advice, and it came from a place of experience and wasn’t just rhetoric. His passion for our sport is aggressive. Loud and proud. Did it his way and in the process entertained millions. Thank you. Cheers to 20 @randyorton 🍻
