Whumpees unable to be with their friends and family like they usually are during the holidays. Maybe they even miss festive activities they used to hate or wish they could see those annoying relatives that always annoyed them this time of year. Swearing they would never complain about any of it ever again if they could just go home. 

Whumpers using holiday decorations as tools of punishment: strangling whumpees with christmas lights, stabbing whumpees with sharpened candy canes, forcing whumpees to walk on broken ornaments, etc. 

Recovering whumpees feeling frustrated with themselves because they can’t get into the holiday spirit and celebrate like they used to, and it feels like they’re ruining everyone else’s holidays.

Whumpees frustrated with themselves because they think they ruined a holiday party or activity with their panic attacks. 

Whumpees left out in the cold. Whumpees shivering in a drafty shed or tied up outside like a dog. Even better (worse?), the whumpee has a view of everyone else inside enjoying the warmth of the fire, good food, and fun celebrations.

Whumpees triggered by Christmas music because whumper always played Christmas music during punishments. Maybe it was always super cheerful Christmas music or a popular song that’s played everywhere during the holidays. 

Whumpee feeling guilty for not being up to celebrating with friends and family this year, for not having the money or opportunity to buy anyone gifts, or for needing space and time alone when they’re supposed to be with family. 

Caretakers who tried really hard to prepare something fun for whumpee (a holiday tradition they used to love or inviting lots of friends over) and feel hurt and confused when whumpee wants nothing to do with it.

Random Thoughts

Sometimes I feel a little dumb with what I’m asking, but my curiosity gets the better of me I fear. This is towards whumpees with a uterus. Basically…

Do your whumpers care about their whumpees menstrual cycle?

Male or Female Whumpers, do they go out of their way to buy pads or medication and stuff? Or do they just not care and let them bleed out for… humiliation maybe? Discomfort. Whatever. I don’t have any Whumpees with a period, so I was genuinely curious. Like do you guys write about your Whumpers taking care of Whumpee during their cycle or is it just kind of left in the background to be implied that it happens?

I just saw an ad on YouTube for an animal shelter and it made me think about a pet whumpee shelter putting out a similar commercial

Like just imagine an ad for an animal shelter that strictly sells human pets. It pans through several images/clips of their human pets sadly staring at the camera through the bars of their cage. Then it cuts to a random celebrity saying, "Please call xxx-xxx-xxxx to help give these poor animals a good home." While they're petting one of the whumpees that's kneeling at their feet.

Or alternatively, it's a commercial showcasing a bunch of human pets performing humiliating tricks while a happy family strolls through the rows of cages to pick one out.

Rando writing prompt idea

A person whose hired to write bad endings worn down by all these terrible ends they're ( Isekaied maybe ) in a world where all the characters they chose endings for exist within as a weak writer they try their best to change these characters fates for the better acting as an Oracle or other various ways while trying to navigate a world they know nothing about other than their bad endings

Writers are all cockroaches of characters they are somehow not dead yet and a cockroach of a characters are my favorite

I envision them being tossed over the one characters shoulder who believed them while they're running as they try to go through their scripts of bad ends on how to fix things

And the thing is they never sorted the unused ones from the actual used ones because they just wrote in parenthesis what story it was in

What would make It even worse is if a Golden Retriever type who was forced to believe them because it nearly faced the first tragedy that happened (they had a long suffering breaking end in the story according to the writers script)

it's really interesting how vax is the caretaker in his relationship with the sister — he, objectively, one of the most beaten up characters both by the fault of his own recklessness and the unfortunate roll of the dice. and yet, the moment he gets up and regains senses he goes to check on vex, braids her hair and watches her, following her very step.

all the while spending nights at her door and for a long time not allowing himself a comfort of keyleth's presence after the most traumatic events. i am on the episode 61 and i genuinely want to make everybody see how much he struggles all the while understanding why he doesn't do so himself being so closed off and having "and i walk away" as his default way out of the situations when emotional vulnerability is required.

3AM THOUGHTS

Whumpee taken by a satanic cult?! They're supposed to be the sacrifice so naturally, they have to be in perfect shape. A Whumpee who's so done with life that they just don't care, at least they get an interesting ending. Whumpee finally understanding that they can do literally whatever they want while in the "care" of these people. The Sacrifice starting only for Caretaker or previous Whumper to come in out of nowhere and interrupt it.

Whumpee thinking the summoning has ended and that caretaker's the devil. *shocked gasp* "MY TIME HAS COME TO AN END- oh? ..... hi caretaker........WAIT, YOU WERE ONLY TAKING CARE OF ME SO I COULD BE SACRIFICED BACK TO YOU?!"

Whumpee when they see previous Whumper " TAKE ME OH GREA-...EUGH, OF COURSE IT'S YOU! YOU UGLY INBRED KNUCKLE DRAGGING SWAMP TWAT, GO AWAY, SEND ANOTHER DEVIL, ONE WHO LOOKS BETTER"

The rest of the Cult standing there Batshit confused. Maybe they start worshipping Whumpee as well because they know the "devil".

A cyborg-ish Whumpee or just one with metal limbs that look legit. Imagine Whumper threatening to to cut Whumpee's arm off only for them to literally DETACH and hand it to whumper. Or whumper trying to pull off a nail and Whumpee going " it's a full set man, take it or leave it"

Warnings: restraints, swearing

Hero struggled against the ropes that were wrapped around their body. They sat in front of a TV that was playing a video on loop.

"No more. Please no more." They closed their eyes and struggled more.

Villain walked in and sat on the couch beside Hero. They started eating their popcorn. "Come on Hero. You're missing the best part."

"Fuck you." Hero spat at Villain.

Villain laughed and threw a piece of popcorn at Hero. "You don't want to watch your team members get caught? Your failure as their leader?"

Hero opened their eyes and glared at Villain. "Why are you doing this?"

Villain smiled and paused the video. "Because you need to learn about what happens when you try to outsmart me." Villain pointed to the TV. "Now watch the video or I'm going to have to do something drastic to your team members."

Hero glared at Villain as a tear fell down their cheek.

Villain rolled their eyes and ate more popcorn. "Tears make you look weak." They pointed at the TV. "Watch the video."

Hero turned to face the TV and felt their eyes well up with tears as the video started again.

Random thought:

With Disney's current obsession over challenging their old tropes and more active heroines who take control of their destiny, why haven't we had a role-reversal fairy tale from them yet?

You know, like a heroic princess who saves a young man from an evil villain. Disney has a LOT of dudes in distress, no doubt, but not any who are rescued in the traditional "damsel" sense by their love interest. They always either rescue themselves or are helped by their sidekick or both. The closest is MAYBE Return to Neverland, but that's stretching the idea. I'm honestly surprised they have yet to make a movie that completely swaps the roles.

Characters falling ill in the era when looking ill was in fashion:

“You look frightfully pale.” “Do I? Do I really?” “Yes, and- I wasn’t trying to flatter you, you know!”

“Are you sure you’re alright? You don’t look alright.” “I thank you for the compliment, but I assure you I’m quite well.”

“We really must stitch it, we can’t have you bleeding to death!” “No, but surely you can leave it a bit longer? I want that…bloodless complexion everyone has these days. You know I hate powder.”

Had a dream and thought up a new story idea. Whoops, lol. Poll at the end if you're interested.

Basically, it's a thought for an original story inspired by haunted houses/mansions. The mother of a family received the deed/ownership to an old mansion. In the process, she becomes possessed by the spirits of the house and ends up killing most of her family.

Jump to the present, one daughter and one son are left. The daughter has no memory of what happened, but the son remembers it all. [Edit: They reunite right after college for the start of this instead of high school ending.] However, throughout their school years, any friends they've grown close to and any bullies they've had both disappear. Everyone else has them erased from their memories, except for the boy's. He can't convince anyone to remember, so eventually gives up, making private notes in journals to keep the memories of the lost at least acknowledged.

They go on one last road trip with two of their mutual friends left and end up stumbling across the mansion, overgrown in the middle of nowhere. Lured into the mansion, all of them end up separated.

Not sure how to explain the rest without giving away the whole idea, but basically the story is told from the PoVs of the brother and sister. Non-human whumpees as well as human ones. Though it is also some experimentation whump mixed with supernatural whump, so humans turned into animal/human hybrids kind of thing. Like, a whumper moved into the mansion secretly and has been contributing/taking advantage of the disappearing characters. It was a very detailed dream for one night, lol. Of course, lgbt and neurodivergent MCs, as well as the side characters, too.

I'm still working on the October writing events stuff first. Basically this whole ramble was to keep the idea from disappearing in my head, plus what I'm writing on some scrap paper. Everything else I've shared so far for ideas has been re-tellings or fanfics, but I've noticed a lot I've read for the whump community and enjoyed has been folks orgiginal works a whole lot more. And I'm working on not being so paranoid and cagy about writing origninal stuff myself and sharing it with more than just a few choice friends. So I'm nervous to share this idea, but excited to see if anyone would actually want to read it.

Random Thoughts

You know, I feel like I always say in my head while I’m on any social platform that like, “oh, we’re all adults here. I can talk about this stuff and maybe get serious responses.” Then I take a few seconds to let it settle in and then I realize… “wait, we’re not all adults here. It’s the internet so there’s bound to be kids who see this account or any other whump blogs without us knowing.”

It’s kind of weird to think about. It makes me think twice whenever I want to talk about certain sensitive topics either in my writing or post in a drawing, because what kid is seeing it too? Right? I know I can’t exactly stop anyone from having an electronic or having unrestricted privileges, but it still makes me hesitate sometimes to post NSFW content knowing that there might be a kid seeing it and I’m feeding into their innocence being taken away.

When I say kid, I’m not really thinking about 16+, I don’t know, I think I was pretty corrupted by then myself, so in my head you should probably already know a lot about the world and make most of your own decisions with some coherency. [Not that you aren’t still a kid, because you are]. But anything below that, maybe just wait a little longer before you start becoming too obsessed with anything NSFW related. From someone who has consumed whump since forever, it can mess with your head until you really understand the difference between reality and fiction, even if the fiction is based on reality. I’ve noticed that especially recently, it’s been harder for children today to separate fiction and reality. Social media at an early age doesn’t help.

I’m also not saying that minors can’t understand serious topics. I know they’re just as capable of understanding it to a degree, even so far as to experience them. And it might be a way to cope hearing or seeing other content that is similar to what they’re going through so they don’t feel alone. Just want to put this out there for those who are very blissfully unaware of the worlds horrors, maybe just keep it that way while you can.

So anyway, just wanted to get that out there. I won’t restrict anyone from viewing content on my pages, mainly because I can’t really, but I will properly label them as best I can for TW content. If you still choose to view it and you’re a minor then it’s up to you. You’re safe to react or reply here if you want to, but just be careful around other parts of the internet. Don’t get sucked down a rabbit hole that’s going to corrupt your life too early on. Sometimes, ignorance is sweet while it lasts.
