Celebrating 43 years of #ChashmeBuddoor (08/05/1981), a classic romantic comedy about friendship and love, starring Farooq Shaikh, Deepti Naval, Rakesh Bedi, Ravi Baswani, and Saeed Jaffrey. Directed by Sai Paranjpye and produced by Gul Anand and Jayshree Anand — Makhija, this film captures the essence of youth and camaraderie.
The story revolves around three Delhi University students—Siddharth, Omi, and Jai—who stay in the city during their summer vacation. Their routine life takes a turn with the arrival of Neha, a charming young woman.
After directing the poignant drama "Sparsh," Sai Paranjpye switched gears dramatically to craft "Chashme Buddoor," a lighthearted comedy that explores male friendship with witty and sharp insights, avoiding clichéd slapstick humor.
The film shines with its realistic dialogue and natural interactions, especially in scenes like when Siddharth, trying to play it cool, offers Neha a ride, only to admit he'd been waiting for her. Neha, far from a typical damsel, reveals she hoped he would appear. This genuine exchange underscores their mutual attraction and understanding.
Another memorable moment is when Neha demonstrates a detergent’s effectiveness by washing a towel, which Siddharth sheepishly admits was already clean. The simplicity and honesty of their interactions make "Chashme Buddoor" feel as refreshing as a sudden rain shower.
The film also features a delightful proposal scene where Siddharth's nervousness meets Neha's playful challenge, showing the depth of their bond and the light-hearted nature of their relationship.
"Chashme Buddoor" remains a beloved example of how humor and heart can create a timeless story about the joys and surprises of everyday life.

DAY 6144
Jalsa, Mumbai Dec 14/15, 2024 Sat/Sun 11:40 pm
🪔 ,
December 15 .. birthday greetings to Ef Vanshika Shrivastava from Mandsaur MP .. Ef Rajeev Bedi from Ambala Cantt .. Ef Rakesh Nanda from New Delhi .. and Ef Tupur Roy from Patna (hope the full name is right , if wrong please correct) .. 🙏🏽❤️🚩
from the Ef family a bouquet of flowers and love ..
🌺
❤️
.. a day to ponder and think of the life of work .. of the pending works and the time to be in the constant account for the doing of the doing to be done ..
.. and even though the vision for the work is evident and known .. in the mind .. the allocation of the time and the 'when' has its uncertainty ..
BUT .. whatever was gotten in the got .. was given sufficient giving to be in condition to give here there and a few other there's !
A friend asked me, after my generous mention to him, about him :
" Sir !! what are you made of .. ?!!! .. in affectionate approbation 😇
I said :
मिट्टी का टेन, मस्ती का मन, क्षण भर जीवन, मेरा परिचय .. ~हरिवंश राय बच्चन
a body made of the mud of the Earth , a mind filled with extravagant joys and happiness .. a moment in LIFE - my introduction ..
and as you age, philosophy takes charge .. in the moments of questioning .. in the moments of query - from others .. in the desire to know and fill the coffers of the unknown with it ..
and then you realise - this should have been addressed several years and decades before .. for, now the time has passed , of the 'been', and what will be known as 'been'
in the decade of my time , did all find the wine to be the best ; in the decade of my time , did all find my cup to be remarkable ; even so, when I did ask the elders , did I get just one answer ..
gone , no longer , those days of wine drinkers .. gone are those days of the 'House of Wine'
.. and each passing day the thought crosses the horizon of the cerebrum .. of what be gone , what be left , and what beget ..
मेरी आशा और पिपासा .. my desire my thirst .. with my love ..
स्नेह पूर्ण सदा आदर 🌹🌹🌺🌺🍂

Shehzada: The Film Review
Kartik Aaryan in Shehzada film (Credit- Gulshan kumar & T-Series Films) Plot: This film tells the tale of a boy who, after being born, is raised by an employee of his parents' business rather than by his biological parents. Has another child taken his place? Why, if it's replaced? Did the worker substitute the boss's child for his own? Will he ever learn who his real parents are? You must watch the film to find out these answers. Tone and Theme: The tone of this movie is action drama and its sole goal is to provide only poor entertainment, nothing else. Characters and Acting: Kartik Aryan's portrayal of Bantu is passable; it feels like a clichéd old movie. His performance is clichéd and lacks originality. The only noteworthy things Kriti Sanon did in the movie as Samara were singing two or three songs and wear shorts; she was utterly wasted. Paresh Rawal's performance as Valmiki is likewise passable; nothing particularly noteworthy about it. Manisha Koirala's performance as Yashu is likewise unimpressive; it seems incredibly forced, and it is incomprehensible that such a brilliant and gifted actress would take on such a part. Although the supporting cast members play decent roles, they do nothing to advance the plot of the movie. Direction: Rohit Dhawan, the actor Varun Dhawan's older brother, is the film's director. Prior to this, he directed the mediocre movies Desi Boyz (2011) and Dishoom (2016), and this one stayed below average. This movie is a remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020), a Telugu film. Despite adopting the original story and screenplay, which was a blockbuster, the film is a failure and has been completely rejected by the audiences. There is nothing new in the story; moreover, it feels like every character has been forced into the movie. Additionally, the screenplay is very weak; however, the dialogue is passable. Sanjay F Gupta and Sudeep Chatterjee's cinematography is excellent, and the depictions of Mumbai, Delhi, and Mauritius are stunning. Ritesh Soni's editing is OK, but the movie lacks a plot, even in the interval, and at points it seems to be dragging. Background Score: Everything is fine with Julius Packiam. Splendid Production design by Suresh Selvarajan. Sound Design: Parikshit Lalwani does a decent job as well. Pritam's music is really poor; only one or two of the songs are passable. Character Dheela 2.0 is good, as is Chedkhaniya. There is nothing particularly noteworthy in the lyrics. Climax: It's all right. Viewpoint: Exclusively for Timepass! Only those who have patience should watch this film, otherwise don't watch it. Rating: 4/10 Drawbacks: How is it possible for the owner's and employee's children to be born on the same day? This is only feasible in the Hindi film industry, and the exchange of children is only feasible in Hindi films. All of these mistakes can be disregarded because they are fictitious and should only be regarded as amusement. Since there is nothing in this movie, I was unable to write much about it. I apologize for not properly researching and writing about a movie. Now that Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam has released in theaters, here are 8 reasons why you must watch the film:
*1. Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam carries heartwarming messages:*
With an amazing performance, it is Dhvani’s monologue that not only stands out but also serves as a poignant reminder of important societal values, leaving a lasting impact on viewers.
*2. The film is a perfect blend of humor and heart:*
The story tastefully balances light-hearted comedy with heartfelt moments, ensuring there's something for everyone. Both actors' performances in the film add to both the comedy and emotional quotients in the best way.

*6. All the characters are very relatable:*
The film offers characters that reflect everyday people and their struggles, making it easy for audiences to connect with their journeys. Every character in the film comes across as very well thought of.
*7. Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam is a perfect wholesome family entertainer:*
The film strikes the right balance between humor, drama, and family-friendly content, making it an ideal watch for audiences of all ages. In fact, it shows the Indian family setting so well that everyone will relate to it and love it.
*8. It is an empowering story:*
The best part about Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam is that it is beyond the cliched melodrama that family entertainers mostly have. Laxman Utekar’s writing of small-town stories is so effortless that it beautifully breaks stereotypes. The film sheds light on the lives of women in Haryana and other villages, where the practice of wearing a ghungat (veil) is still imposed, and their voices often go unheard. It highlights their journey toward being seen, heard, and breaking free from these societal expectations. The entire thought process behind the story is very liberating, and it comes out very well.
Laxman Utekar’s Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam, starring Dhvani Bhanushali & Aashim Gulati, is directed by Saurabh Dasgupta It has been released theatrically on 20th September 2024. A Bhanushali Studios Limited & Kathputli Creations production, the young musical family entertainer is produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Laxman Utekar, Karishma Sharma, and Kamlesh Bhanushali.

Zara Hatke Zara Bachke Film Review
Will do anything for the house in film!
Image of Vicky Kaushal lead in the reviewed film Plot: This film is about a married couple who want to buy their own home, but it is prohibitively expensive, so they wander around looking for a cheaper option. Because they do not want to live with their family, which includes parents, uncles, and aunts, the house is small, they lack privacy, and they must compromise and live with their family. They take a significant risk by separating and divorcing in order to purchase a home. So, will they both be able to buy their own home? Will their relationship continue until then? Will they be able to marry again? To answer all of these questions, you'll need to watch the film. Tone and Theme: The tone of this film is romantic comedy, and the theme is Sacrifice and Compromise. The goal of making this film is to convey a message in addition to entertainment that home is not everything. A home can be as small as it wants, but it is made with loved ones and family members, and a husband and wife's relationship is connected by an emotional thread rather than a house. Vicky Kaushal's performance as Kapil is decent. He has done an excellent job portraying a middle-class family and a miser. His character was not particularly strong. As a result, he missed out on an opportunity to do something special. Sara Ali Khan's performance as Saumya is also average, but her comedic timing is exceptional. Some of her scenes appear to be played to perfection. The supporting cast includes Akash Khurana, Anubha Fatehpura, Rakesh Bedi, Sushmita Mukherjee, Neeraj Sood, and Kanupriya Pandit, all of whom contribute to the film's plot. Laxman Utekar, the film's director, came to Hindi cinema from Marathi cinema, where he directed Tapaal (2014) and Lalbaugchi Rani (2016). Luka Chuppi (2019), which he directed, was a success. He is also a successful cinematographer; his direction in this is nothing special; it is weaker than his previous films; the type of films he has directed not seen in this film; it feels like we are watching a film by a very weak director; at times, it feels like the film is being dragged. The screenplay, written by Maitrey Bajpai, Ramiz Ilham Khan, and Laxman Utekar, is weak, and the dialogue is also average. Sandeep Shirodkar's background score falls below average. The Sound design by Nihar Ranjan Samal is nothing special. Costume design by Sheetal Sharma is also acceptable. Editing: Manish Pradhan's editing is poor, and the film feels stretched like rubber. The cinematography by Raghav Ramdoss is good. Production Design: Subrata Chakraborty and Amit Ray's production design is acceptable. Music: Sachin-Jigar's music is excellent, with two standout songs being Phir Aur Kya Chahiye and Tere Vaaste Achhe have made it good. Choreography: Ganesh Acharya, Vijay Ganguly, Ruel Dausan Varandani's choreography is exceptional. Ganesh Acharya's contribution to the song Tere Vaaste is particularly noteworthy. Climax: The climax can be described as okay. Opinion: Today's youth can see this film once. Fact: The fight scene between the two is extremely well done. 69th Filmfare Award Nominations: This film received nominations for Best Music Director, Best Male Playback Singer, Best Choreographer, and Best Lyricist, and it won one award for Best Lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya's (Tere Vaaste) song. CBFC-U/A Movietime: 2 hours and 12 minutes Genre: Romantic Comedy Backdrop: Indore Release: 2023 The cast includes Vicky Kaushal, Sara Ali Khan, Akash Khurana, Anubha Fatehpura, Rakesh Bedi, Sushmita Mukherjee, Neeraj Sood, and Kanupriya Pandit.
