one clarification, these are hindi family terms, not punjabi. (i don't speak punjabi, so i don't know for sure, but due to the nature of the distribution of dialects and language in india, it's seems quite possible to me that many punjabi speakers use these terms as well when speaking punjabi, but punjabi also has it's own closely related but still distinct vocabulary for many of these relations, though a lot of the vocabulary is common between the two languages as well.)
secondly, as this chart specifies, in hindi, your husband's brother* is specifically your jeṭh, and you would address him as bhaiyā, and his wife is your jiṭhānī/jeṭhānī, whom you would address as bhābhī. (your terms of address are shared from your husband but not your reference terms.)
however, hindi doesn't explicitly have a reference term for your jiṭhānī's brother. instead, you would address him as bhaiyā, and since your families are relatively close, colloquially, you'd probably refer to him as your bhāī/bhaiyā in casual conversation. bhaiyā is usually translated as "elder brother" but is actually used as the term of address for any older/senior male relative in your generation whom you are related to through themself and not through their spouse.
in any case, your colloquial niece, your jiṭhānī's brother's daughter, is your jiṭhānī's bhatījī, meaning bhāī's daughter, and she would also be referred as your bhatījī generally/colloquially, since her dad is your (colloquial) bhāī.
*i'm presuming for example purposes that your husband's brother is older than your husband, and your husband's brother's wife's brother is older than your husband's brother's wife. if your husband's brother is younger than your husband, then your husband's brother and his wife are your devar and devrānī, and both would be addressed by name.
(also, it occurs to me that english doesn't really maintain a distinction between reference terms and terms of address, so if that is unfamiliar, think of it this way:
in english, you can say, oh that's my sister, but, at least in the modern day, you don't usually say, "Sister, come over here!" you say "[Name], come over here!", or similarly for your niece, which is analogous to how there are terms of reference for junior relatives who take names for address.
similarly, you can say something like, that's my teacher over there, but you don't say, "Teacher, what are we learning today?", you say, for example, "Mr. [Name], what are we learning today?", using "Mister [Name]" as the term of address for the person you refer to as your teacher, analogous to the reference terms for senior relations which are distinct from their terms of address.)
I am searching for a term that may not exist:
I have a husband
He has a brother, who is my brother-in-law
My brother-in-law has a wife. Now colloquially, she is my sister in law, but is there a distinction to indicate she is also my husband's sister-in-law and not his sister? Is she my sister-in-law-in-law? My sister twice removed?
This is not actually the term I'm after but it'll help.
My brother-in-law's wife has siblings. Who are they in relation to me? I see my sister-in-law-in-law's brother more than I see her, but is there a way to explain that he's family?
Now, the real term I'm after: my sister-in-law-in-law's brother has a daughter. Is she my niece? Second cousin some degree removed??
Like, kinship trees vary wildly by culture, but I feel like there might be terms for these by-marriage relatives from inheritance law or something?
