Some sketches from the last few weeks.
I rewatched and continued TBBT because I never finished it after moving even though it used to be one of my favourite shows.

My ‘The Big Bang Theory’ Rankings
Seasons 1 - 2: I haven’t watched all the episodes in these seasons, as it doesn’t really interest me because they were still trying to figure out the characters, so they feel rather one dimensional to me. Though, there are some cute Sheldon episodes/moments for sure! Mainly he and Penny had cute banter and chemistry!
Season 3: For a season without Amy, it is actually really good - well for TBBT. There are so many of my favorite Sheldon episodes and moments in this season! Also Raj was more prevalent as a character. It seems like they finally found their voice as a show and established their vibe. It is super fun and funny! I mean there are few snags still, but overall it’s a good one.
Seasons 4 - 5: Literally only watching for the Shamy! Their story arc and characterizations is what elevates what would otherwise be a pretty mediocre bunch of seasons. I don’t know why they took a nosedive with all the other storylines and characters. Maybe they only had enough braincells for Shamy?? I mean - fair. But literally everything is crap - Leonard and Penny’s on and off again situationship (their drama was SO ANNOYING), Howard and Bernadette’s whole thing (like what was even their point?? It wasn’t until they became a family that I found their characters and stories had any purpose, e.g. Howard actually becoming a man and learning to be the father he didn’t have. Bernadette’s character became funnier too in later seasons, even if she never was my favorite.) Raj’s characterization was instantly thrown out the window for an absurd string of increasingly bizarre scenarios that were really pathetic. (Why didn’t they keep him and Lucy together as a couple?? I’ll never understand that.) Too many stupid, puerile sex jokes, politically incorrect jokes, cringy nerd jokes, and not nearly enough science. Just give me the Shamy! … who were so perfect, of course! Early Shamy in the beginning of their courtship was really special. ❤️
Seasons 6 - 11: This to me is where the show really shines the best! Each of these seasons just gets increasingly better and better, until it culminates in the Royal Wedding of Weddings! 🦢✨ Raj’s character, unfortunately, doesn’t improve much, but that is its one downside. I love rewatching these seasons so much! I mean mainly for the Shamy (although I never rewatch The Hiatus) but the other character stories get more interesting, as Leonard/Penny and Howard/Bernadette become more established. There is so MUCH more science, as we actually get to see the characters doing their respective jobs. And of course, Sheldon and Amy developing their Nobel Prize winning “super asymmetry” model which perfectly and symbolically represented their journey together as a couple. To me The Big Bang Theory is literally about Sheldon and Amy’s love story, that is what the title refers to, imo. This show will always be the greatest rom-com ever told, following the patterns and story beats of that genre. That‘a why these season are the “meat” of the show.
Season 12: After experiencing the high of seeing newly-wedded Shamy life and their eventual overcoming obstacles to achieve the Nobel Prize, this season is mostly a dud. For the final season of a beloved sitcom, it is actually pretty disappointing in all respects. It is boring even in many parts. It is like they didn’t actually know what to do with the characters at this point in the game (even though I feel like the show could have written itself, it had everything, but whatever) - other than building towards Sheldon Cooper’s inevitable Nobel Prize win. Weirdly, that meant they suddenly developed a HUGE interest in Raj’s character, like “Oh yeah! We need to actually DO something with this guy before this thing ends!” And his story with Anu was really good and developed his character in unexpected and wonderful ways. However, of course, in the season finale they were like: “JK! We are resetting him to factory settings! Har Har Har!” - which completely nullified literally everything they had built in regards to his character - so, there’s that. sigh.
Anyway, did I mention Shamy?? Because that’s what this whole shabang is all about! 😍😍😍

TBBT: Raj Koothrappali Was Not „Done Dirty Due to Racism“
My five cents about this topic, since I’ve come across it a few times.
The Big Bang Theory is a sitcom that thrives on clichés and openly, often tactlessly pointing out other people’s quirks and failures. All kinds of groups get relentlessly teased - men, women, nerds, sexy girls, Indians, Texans, Jews, and so on. I get it that it’s not everybody’s kind of humor.
However, all of the characters undergo a huge personal growth; if you’re not sure about that, you only have to watch one of the newer episodes and then one of the episodes from Season 1 or 2.
Raj Koothrappali is the character who grows and develops most than all the others, and what’s more, he does so on his own.
He overcomes his selective mutism when he realizes that deep down, he’s convinced of being “unlovable”: an insight he finds on his own. A major problem of the nerds the show is about is their preoccupation with finding a girlfriend / lover / wife. Before and after he overcomes his mutism, Raj has more girlfriends and hook-ups than any of the other guys. He decides to stop living on his parent’s money. He moves out of the place where he lived and starts making a home of his own (none of the other guys move to another place). He finds a much better and more prestigious job. He stops straightening his hair. He chooses not to marry Anu, a woman he doesn’t have anything in common with.
Leonard, a main character, pursues Penny until they finally are married; that’s all that happens for him. She becomes pregnant, which closes the circle to their first meeting when he said that “their children would be both beautiful and intelligent”; however, that pregnancy was an accident.
Howard meets Bernadette because Penny sets the two of them up. He becomes a father, and both times it was not planned. He always lives in his mother’s house. He never gets an upgrade or a better job; Bernadette keeps teasing him about the fact that he earns less than she does.
Sheldon develops a theory of his own which finally earns him his long-awaited Nobel prize. He gets married. He moves out from the place he used to live in with Leonard, to live only across the hall.
For good measure: Stuart.
His comic book shop finally becomes successful due to an online review. He meets Denise because he employed her. He moves in with her at her suggestion.
Not only does Raj come much further than the other guys, most of the changes in his life are not coincidences, decisions made for him by other people or things he does together with others, but actual choices.
It’s true that in the end he is the only one of the bunch who is single, but I believe that it was the best wrap-up for his character.
Anu's relationship with Raj had been arranged by both their parents; she made him an offer of marriage herself. Raj only had to relent to her and their families and everything would have seemed all right. But although knowing her helped him grow for a while, he wasn’t in love with her, and quite rightly Howard, who knows him better than anyone else, pointed it out to him.
Raj is a hopeless romantic; he would have to meet a romantic girl and have a romantic love story with her, and that wouldn’t be fitting for a sitcom.
Penny’s development similarly was criticized because “she wanted to be an actress”. That was kind of the point. Penny matured enough to realize that she’s not good at acting, so she trained and made efforts to make career elsewhere, this time with success.
Choosing to stay single requires a lot of courage, in particular if all of your friends are married or paired up. Realizing that it’s better to be alone, respectively to wait until you meet someone who is actually the right person, is a sign of maturity, not of failure.
I can’t see any racism or misogyny in all of this; quite the contrary. Letting go of something that’s wrong for you is not the same as giving up a dream.
Therefore, I'm perfectly fine with how this show ended.

I just finished Big Bang Theory and I don't think I have ever been this sad to finish a series because I watch a lot. They all have changed so much from their first appearances. God, I love them!
The urge to start all over again is too much
I just ranted but I needed people to know Big Bang Theory is one of the best shows you could ever watch.
Damnit Sheldon's speech made me emotional too.

The Big Bang Theory plot holes and inconsistencies that annoy me:
(don’t get me wrong: I love that show, I must’ve watched it a thousand times, I’m even watching it right now, writing this post—but because I watched it so many times I had to notice some things):
Sheldon swears at the beginning of the show. Then he claims he doesn’t swear ever and you can bet your sweet “b” on it, because he wouldn’t even say “a”
Sheldon has asthma that gets magically transferred into Leonard.
Raj states randomly that he’s dating a “deaf chick”, so that’s no problem he can’t talk to women. When later Penny introduces him to her friend Emily he has no idea how to react and behave and can’t even communicate with her.
Amy starts as a sex and romance negative person and a season later she’s suddenly hyper sexual.
Howard’s dad abandoned him and his mother some time ago—yet in the first season Howard states that never talking and staying drunk during the relationship “worked for his parents”.
Stuart’s name and Penny’s dad name change through the show—Wyatt was a Bob before and the comic book store was Larry’s.
Leonard had a girlfriend/girl he dated that’s mentioned once and never again—while talking to Penny, Sheldon says that Leonard dated a french woman who had a PhD in french literature, and yet she never comes up when Leonard’s love life is discussed.
Penny gets a job as a pharmaceuticals sales person and even gets promoted even though she hasn’t even graduated from community college—she takes some classes but there is no mention of her graduating, she only got the job because the interviewer was afraid of Bernadette.
Amy and Howard have things in common and have fun together in one episode and don’t have anything to talk about and behave awkwardly towards each other in the next one.
Doctor Gablehauser suddenly disappears and gets transformed into President Siebert.
Howard doesn’t know why the elevator is broken and tries to fix it even though we later find out that he was present when the elevator broke down.
Neither Beverly Hofstadter nor Sheldon’s Meemaw attend Shamy’s wedding and nobody bothers to explain why.
Penny has a sister who doesn’t attend her fake wedding with Leonard. Leonard’s siblings and their families do not attend either.
Sheldon is really happy for Raj after he finally slept with Emily and congratulates him even though just an episode earlier he told him to “stick to his guns, because there’ll be a lot of pressure [to have intercourse].

From Esquire (1000 things you don't know about women)
No. 944: We kind of wish we could chest-bump, too.
The group had gathered at their favorite paintball arena for a "friendly" match, though anyone who knew them would understand that no event involving Sheldon could ever truly be considered friendly. The teams were split up:
Red Team consisted of Amy, Sheldon, Bernadette, Howard, Penny, and Leonard.
Blue Team was made up of Stuart, Denise, Raj, Emily, Wil Wheaton, and Leslie Winkle.
After three intense rounds filled with sneaky tactics, bold strategies, and quite a few loud arguments (mostly from Sheldon), the Red Team emerged victorious.
"Yes! We won!" Penny cheered, throwing her arms up in the air.
Bernadette, tiny but fierce in her paintball gear, let out a victorious shout as she rushed over to Howard. "We did it!" she yelled, eyes shining with excitement. Without a second thought, she leaped into the air and chest-bumped Howard, causing him to stumble back a step but laugh out loud. "Careful! My heart can only take so much awesomeness!" he teased.
Penny, never one to be outdone, turned to Leonard, who looked just as exhilarated. With a mischievous grin, she exclaimed, "You’re next, Hofstadter!" before running up to him and bumping her chest against his. Leonard staggered back with a laugh, trying to catch his balance. "Okay, okay! Geez, Penny!" he said, chuckling but clearly enjoying the moment.
Amy stood off to the side, watching her friends celebrate. Penny and Bernadette’s chest bumps with their boyfriends had caught her attention, and she couldn’t help but imagine doing the same with Sheldon. The idea made her heart race, though she knew it was unlikely. Sheldon was many things, but spontaneous physical affection wasn’t one of them. If she suggested it, he’d likely ask if she had lost her mind.
As the others continued to revel in their victory with high-fives and cheers, Sheldon stood slightly apart, adjusting his paintball mask and watching the scene. His gaze drifted toward Amy, and he noticed the thoughtful expression on her face. It didn’t take long for him to deduce what she was contemplating.
Quietly, he walked over and tapped her on the shoulder. Amy turned to look at him, eyebrows raised. "What is it?" she asked.
Sheldon looked serious, though his lips twitched ever so slightly as if he were processing something out of his comfort zone. Then, to Amy’s surprise, he leaned forward ever so slightly, curving his back awkwardly. His chest was now close to hers. "We can chest bump as well," he said in his usual matter-of-fact tone.
Amy blinked, utterly stunned. Had she heard him correctly?
"What?" she asked, her voice a mix of disbelief and excitement.
"The celebratory chest bump," Sheldon clarified, standing there awkwardly but resolutely. "You seem to want to participate in this strange, albeit widespread, human custom. So, I am offering my chest for said bump."
Amy blushed deeply, completely flustered by the unexpected gesture. She glanced away shyly and stammered, "No, no, it’s okay, Sheldon. You don’t have to—"
Before she could finish, Sheldon stepped even closer and gently leaned his chest against hers. It wasn’t exactly a bump—it was more like a gentle press—but for Sheldon Cooper, it was a monumental step into the realm of spontaneous physical affection.
Amy’s heart raced, her face turning even redder. Her friends, too busy celebrating, didn’t notice the quiet moment between them.
Sheldon stepped back and adjusted his shirt collar, looking as if nothing unusual had occurred. "There," he said, nodding. "We have successfully completed the ritual. I believe it is time for celebratory refreshments now."
Amy couldn’t help but smile, warmth filling her chest. This wasn’t just any paintball match—this was a victory in more ways than one.
"Yeah," she said softly, still smiling. "Let’s go celebrate."
And with that, they joined the rest of their friends, who were still reveling in their hard-earned victory, while Amy basked in her own little triumph.

In an AU where the Big Bang Theory characters have superpowers:
Sheldon - Telekinesis, he can manipulate objects with his mind and is constantly frustrated that he can't do the same with people
Amy - Empath, able to sense and manipulate emotions but the catch is this makes her incredibly insecure about how others truly feel about her
Leonard - Flight, a basic but useful power, and please enjoy the mental image of Leonard being forced to fly Sheldon around everywhere
Penny - Super strength, because it just makes sense that she'd physically be the strongest of the group and she also probably has the most combat skills
Howard - Technokinesis, since he's an engineer, and this also has the added bonus of being a more limited version of Sheldon's power so he'll definitely get mocked for that
Raj - Ability to communicate with animals, Cinnamon is his sidekick and they argue like an old married couple
Bernadette - Size manipulation, she can shrink down or grow herself up at will, the obvious choice for her since she's naturally the smallest of the group
Stuart - Invisibility, I think this is self-explanatory

Me and my boyfriend are always having debates on superheros all the times, we tend to get a little serious where we are looking in comic books or looking up youtube videos, trying to prove each other wrong and its usually all for fun😉
But it had me thinking about a new fanfiction idea..
What if Raj brings up a random superhero topic that has each couple really thinking about it.
Sheldon and Amy vs. Leonard and Penny vs. Howard and Bernadette vs. Raj and Stuart
It would be a really good fanfiction idea. Really had me thinking about Season 6, Episode 13 "The Bakersfield Expedition"
This is for anyone who wants it! 😊
