I actually write most often at work, these days. I work night audit at a hotel so I have a lot of free time to fill, so I spend it writing. I'm hoping I can try to write outside this fall, as the summer will be far too hot for it!

I like both coffee and tea, but I prefer coffee! Cold black or warm with a few creams.

GOD, there's so many scenes coming up that I want to write, but let's narrow it down to Chapter 7, for now. There's another investigation at the end of Chapter 7 with the team, and if you investigate with Blake, you can get some special lore dialogue only he can provide....

Oh, ALL of them are much older than they appear.

Blake is the youngest, but appears to be in his mid to late thirties.

Adontis is the oldest BY FAR but appears to be in his late thirties to early forties.

Loche is the second oldest, and appears to be in their mid to late thirties.

Iri is the second to youngest, and appears to be in their mid to late twenties.

Freja is in the middle but on the older side, and appears to be in her late twenties.

Fawn is in the middle but on the younger side, and appears to be in her late twenties to early thirties.

Iri has typical Magi powers, along with some... that aren't so typical, but those I can't discuss just yet, as I've not revealed that little detail to anyone I don't think. All Magi have elemental magic, but usually can only wield one or two elements, at best. Iri has mastered roughly three, and can do some with a fourth. These elements being life, fire, water, and light.

Somewhat! Loche thinks something is off, but they aren't sure what. Fawn thinks MC smells odd for a human, but has passed it off that it's due to their abilities being rather strong for a gifted human. Adontis finds it curious that they're so cagey and seem to have better reflexes than most humans, but he's wondering if it's part of being a gifted human, as they've been lead to believe.

Quite a few think MC's a little different, but only Iri knows for sure that something's up.

I don't know if this has been asked before or not, but how do each RO's react when MC gets emotional when mmm you know, when they're having sex like saying "i love you" over and over to RO's. Which RO's will stop and do a cuddle session or something similar, and which ones feel like it's such a turn on and fuck MC harder? 😀

Anon coming in with the steel chair! This one gave me a hot flash, lol. This inspired me, so there's a little mini moment for a certain mysterious stranger. Though, I was tempted to write one for everybody, lol (sadly, I do not have time for that currently).

Oswin: either he or MC or both are going to need to walk with crutches for a few days after that. MC has just sent him into orbit and they better hang on.

Duri: The first few times this happens (and after Duri has worked through their relational turmoil), they actually stop (that's right, MC has done the impossible). And then they just want to be held while they hide their face.

Zahn: Gets worked up emotionally and physically. "Me too, I love you too, so much, I love you." They will fuck through the happy tears too.

Rune: "Then show me how much you love me, show me." After the deed is the cuddling and nuzzling. Rune smiles so big and is so giddy.

His hands move to cup either side of your face. "What did you say?" he asks as his breath labors. He does not stop.

"I love you," you whimper again.

He brings his face to yours, forcing your eyes to meet as he presses hard against you. "Again..."

"I love you," you say back, slipping a hand behind his head to keep him close. The swell of heat between you is almost unreal.

He groans as his pace quickens. "Again," he commands, voice strained and eyes blazing into yours.

"I love you."

His voice breaks as he comes undone, eyes gleaming with dampness as you follow suit, spilling little declarations of love as you fall apart.

As you both come down, he nuzzles your neck and kisses your face. "I love you, I love you," he mumbles over and over. "You love me, you love me," he reminds. "I'm so glad you love me."

You bring him close and hold him. He calms unusually fast when normally he'd be setting up for another round. He simply holds you through the night, staying close and murmuring of his devotion even as he sleeps.

RO Appearances

I decided to create a separate post for the RO's appearances since I didn't want to make the intro post any more of a behemoth than it already was lol. And I can add more detail in general into a singular post just for their appearances rather than just the basics

Without further ado, I present to you something that took a lot longer than I thought it would

Damian/Devyn Thunder

D has copper red hair with a slight wave throughout it, bright summer sky blue eyes, a swath of freckles painted over their face, and pale skin that sunburns easily. They work out fairly consistently, and all that discipline has given them a decently athletic build. They rarely tan, if at all, during the summer. Piercings-wise, they have two earlobe piercings, an industrial bar in their left ear, and a nose stud. Tattoos, nada.

Devyn is 5'7 with her long hair that falls to the middle of her back cut into curtain bangs she regrets getting because they're a bitch to style in the morning when she's half awake and without coffee. Her makeup's either minimal with a lip or full-on glam, no in-between.

Damian is 6'0, with short hair that looks like it's styled but is really just ruffled around in the morning a couple of times until it looks good.

Cia/Cian Avila

Ci is 5'10 and has loose curly black hair bleached white on the ends that they often straighten (with heat protection!), deep brown eyes, soft medium skin, a lithe figure, and a scar jabbed straight through their eyebrow. On the inside of their right wrist, they have a tattoo of a bunch of colorful balloons with the words "go for the sky" under them. As for piercings, they have a septum, an eyebrow piercing over their right eyebrow, and an assortment of ones leading up their ears.

Cia has shoulder-length hair when her curls are unstraightened and upper-back-length when they are straightened. Her hair's cut into forehead bangs that work both when it's curly and when it's straight. She doesn't wear makeup every day (takes far too much effort), but when she does it's typically slightly-smudged eyeliner and a dark lip .

Cian has sort of mediumish-length hair, longer than the average hair-length for a guy, though it doesn't reach past his jaw. It's styled fairly easily with the help of a few products making the process more efficient and a straigtener. He sometimes wears a bit of smudged liner

Tristan/Trisha Hydra

Hydra has deep dark brown hair that only shows its true color in the light, jungle green eyes, golden tan skin, and a double slit through their left eyebrow. They have a pretty large amount of tattoos, the most notable being the giant white ink snake wrapping around the entirety of their left arm and up to their collarbone. And for piercings, they have a septum and a lip ring, as well as a couple in their ears. It's rare to see them leave the house without their signature smudged black liner around their eyes.

Tristan is 5'11 and has just-past-the-shoulders-length hair chopped into a messy wolfcut. In line with the demands of his team and personal trainer, he follows a training regimen that's given him a lean build and abs.

Trisha is 5'10 and has mid-back-length hair cut into a more precise wolfcut. She has to follow a somewhat similar training regimen to Tristan, but her's is all about staying skinny. So she's lean, but not so lean it gives the appearance of being muscular. She also has a navel piercing

Ethan/Elena Sun

E has straight black hair with subtle dark brown highlights for dimension, chocolate brown eyes, cool-toned medium skin, and a small mole just below their left eye. They work out semi-regularly, so they have a decently athletic build with a bit of definition. They don't have any tattoos or facial piercings.

Ethan is 5'10 and has shorter hair that reaches just above his earlobes, usually styled into swoopy side bangs that frame his face. He wears a small amount of makeup normally, just clear brow gel and enough concealer to cover the dark circles under his eyes.

Elena is 5'7 and has longish hair that stops in between the middle of her back and her upper back. She normally straightens it in the morning to give it a sleek overlay. In each of her earlobes, she has a single piercing typically reserved for small diamonds or pearls. Her normal makeup look has soft glam vibes, just a touch more relaxed.

Natalie Marigold

Nat has long curly black hair, brown and green and goldish hazel eyes, warm-toned brown skin, and high cheekbones. No tattoos, but she does have three piercings in both of her earlobes and one in her navel. She has an hourglass figure, meaning she's got a bigger bust and bigger hips and thighs in conjunction with a smaller waist.

She's tall, standing at 5'11. She's not allowed to change her own hair unless her team approves of it, so it's normally at the mercy of whatever they want that day. Sometimes it's straight, sometimes she has looser curls or waves, and sometimes they give her a 1950's Hollywood updo. It all depends on what her personal stylist is feeling that day. One thing it never is though: messy.

Her makeup is full glam all the time unless she's at home. Her signature red lip is a staple in fashion right now and has been for the last five years. She's inspired an entire generation of teenage girls to wear red lipstick to class and brag about it.

Jonah/Juliette Ziegler

J has dark brown hair, sharp icy blue eyes, cool-toned fair skin, and a jawline that could slit your throat. On the right side of their chest, they have a tattoo of a blue hyacinth inked on their skin. No others. As for piercings, they have a nose ring hooked through their right nostril, two earlobe piercings in each ear, an eyebrow piercing through their right eyebrow, and an industrial bar in their right ear.

They live on the typical rockstar diet of booze and whatever fast food place the band wanted to stop at, but then they run around stage until sunrise and work up a sweat until they've burned more than they've consumed. Their build leans to the more fit side of average, with a bit of definition around their abdomen.

Jonah is 6'1 and has shortish loose curly hair he styles by sleeping and then getting out of bed in the morning. He doesn't wear any makeup at all unless the sharpie drawn on his face by a bandmate while he was out cold counts.

Juliette is 5'10 and has longer and slightly wavy hair with blunt bangs she mostly leaves alone and down. Unless she wants it out of her face for shows, then she ties it up into a messy bun. She wears a bit of eyeliner and concealer in her everyday life and tones it up a bit for shows with bigger wings and a dramatic lip.

Stella/Eli Rose

Rose has straight natural blonde hair, bright summer lake eyes, soft fair skin, and long delicate eyelashes. They have not a single tattoo anywhere on their body and only single piercing in each of their earlobes.

Stella is 5'1 and has hair so long she could almost fly away with it if she put her mind to it. It reaches just below her waistline and is expertly styled by her team every day she's out and about in public. Just like her makeup, which is soft and made to look minimal. Following a strict diet supplied by her personal trainer and a yoga routine that takes thirty minutes out of her morning every day, Stella's kept slim according to Hollywood standards.

Eli is 5'8 and has short hair that seems to effortlessly fall into place just right whenever he tilts his head. Eli follows a similar diet mixed in with a regular gym workout routine designed for a lean but fit build. A set of abs and a winning smile is just what Hollywood ordered.

Bellamy Ortega

Bell is 6'3 and has straight jet black hair, light brown caramel eyes, light medium skin, and a prominent adams apple. He has a singular tattoo: a lily flower on his left shoulder. No piercings for him. If his job description wasn't enough reason for him to develop a strong physique, his talent in the boxing ring certainly was. He trains at a local gym to maintain his build, which is that of a modern-day Clark Kent.

His hair is cropped short and then gelled back for his workday to keep it out of his face. He doesn't normally let it grow out too much; it gets difficult to work with when it's too long.

Luci Morningstar

Luci's natural hair color has probably been lost in history at this point. They rolled up on the scene with freshly dyed black hair and then never stopped changing it. When the story begins, their hair is dyed a mix of red and black. It'll likely change before chapter two reaches it's end.

Regardless, they have straight hair that's partly fried from how many times they've bleached it, olive green eyes, freakishly pale skin, and an abundance of piercings. Let's start with their face; snake bites, an eyebrow piercing on each eyebrow, a nose ring, a tongue piercing, and a bridge. And their ears; lobe pericings, conches, daiths, an industrial bar on their right ear, and a few helixs. They also have their navel pierced. They have tattoos galore, especially on their arms, but most of them are random doodles or symbols they got while intoxicated.

Neither of them pay much attention to their diet and the only exercise they get is onstage. They also never eat unless someone tells them to. They're on the skinny side of average.

f!Luci stands at 5'4 and has upper-back-length hair that's chopped every which way. Layers that blend into nothing. Random strands left longer than the others. And somehow it works. She wears full faces of makeup often, usually when she's going to a party or has a show. Big eyeliner, dark lip, and drawn-on eyebrows are the standard for her.

m!Luci is 5'6 and has mediumish hair that goes wherever it wants to unless he styles it back. It's cut randomly, but it doesn't matter when you can't decipher it. Smudged liner is his best friend and maybe a dot of concealer or two over a blemish

I'm hooked onto D's route and it's amazing how you're putting a band storyline inside another storyline. I can't wait to see where it goes cause my MC is gonna have her hands full trying to juggle both being a part of a secret society and a band on top of being a full-time student 😭

My question is if we'll be able to have any creative control over the music? I'm guessing D does most of the writing but I imagine my MC to also be a songwriter. They're already sharing vocals with her, I wonder if they'd be willing to write songs together or have some of her songs featured in the album.

I'm also curious about the rest of the band, what do they think about having two vocalists and do they have any creative control over the band's music? I'm salty Julian isn't an love interest, my Italian heart immediately recognised a kindred soul and it doesn't help that he looks like Jeff Buckley lol

none of the band members aside from D, except maybe mavis at times, are very keen on writing songs. they’re strictly musicians who are great at a variety of instruments but songwriting is where they draw the line. D is the brains of the band, and the reason why their lyrical aspect is as good as the instrumental parts.

in similar way to how the rest of the band members have little to no interest in writing the songs, D has little to no interest in the production part of it. they gladly let everyone figure out how the instrumentals are supposed to go and how they must be layered alongside the vocals. their discography has a fair amount of songs where there are no vocals to simply let the talent shine.

eli is the main producer and arranges everything together to form the final product. they’re their keyboardist, sure, but they’re also an amazing composure who turned down going to the royal college of music in london because yale was giving them a full ride scholarship as an international student and they didn’t have the funds to attend the former.

MC can join the creative process alongside eli and help composing and producing the final product. they can also have their written materials be featured in the band’s discography cause they’re all happy enough to have another good songwriter in the group.

D won’t have a thrilled reaction to having to share the vocalist spot in the future but you can change their mind with the upcoming auditions 👀 they’re very much not immune to someone who clearly has the talent to back everything up 🤷🏻

i’m glad you loved julian omg, he is an absolute sweetheart and he is very much based on jeff buckley because my mum loved the guy’s music growing up 🤭

That's totally fair!! Tbh, the drawings aren't meant to be fully canon; I want players to be able to visualize the characters naturally and to stick with those mental pictures--if that's what they want!

Makes me wonder if anyone will ever comment on the rare eye color, considering they're as rare as they are in real life. That's the downside to making eye colors like that available. If they aren't common in the world, then someone has to mention how they stand out. Otherwise them being rare sorta lose their meaning.

Adrian and Merlin can have already done so repeatedly depending on the conversation paths taken with them. To the point that I'm not having them mention it anymore (except if the nickname Merlin gives the MC is based on their eyes), because if you happened to hit the half dozen times that this could come up in Chapter 1, you'd probably think they turned into parrots or are planning to steal the MC's eyeballs or something.

Also, of all MC's potential flamboyant physical traits, eye color is pretty low key. Unlike the crazy clothes, crazy masks, or crazy hair colors, people aren't going to turn and stare at MC in the streets over that.

You need to be face-to-face with someone (who will actually bring the subject up*), while not wearing a face mask that obscures your eyes, while not having something even more eye-catching going on. Or hey, maybe someone giving your description to the police for... reasons... would bring that up.

Like if the violet-eyed MC with rainbow hair who's dressed in a skintight bodysuit was waving their great sword around, it's not going to be their eye color that's remarked upon. Not to mention potentially having an incubus that looks exactly like the viewer's deepest desires standing right next to them.

*Years ago, my regular contact lenses tore and I ended up running around in my prescription red cosplay contacts for a few weeks before I could get them replaced. No one ever mentioned it to me.

tl;dr: It comes up when it makes sense to come up.
