Interesting!! I've been thinking hard about who would have caught his eye; But ultimately...

For someone like Regal, he needs someone patient enough to bare through his own trauma's and anger issues. Give him a helpful hand and yet bull headed enough to stand their own ground when he's in the wrong.

Someone who has either;

Strong sense of Justice, Integrity, or Self Perseverance.

Absolutely kind to those who deserve it; But likes to see someone who stands up for themselves, too. That balance he doesn't have. (He's rude to everyone, no matter who it is besides those higher above him.)

Someone who is as blunt as he is; He'll say whats on his mind and not worry about the trigger it'll cause the other.

A type of being who can take him on; Either verbally or physically. Bonus if it's both, he enjoys to debate and see someones way of thinking by bringing up hard topics. And a battle buddy? Even better. (Though he much prefers mental strength over physical- If he likes someone and they aren't strong like that, he'll still enjoy to playfully wrestle just out of fun.)

Someone gentle enough to come and help him talk through his issues, even if it's like pulling teeth getting him to talk. He has always refused to talk about what is bugging him, mainly because it never got him anywhere and the vulnerability makes him physically & mentally sick.

These are all the traits I've given Ribba the Rabbit; His second in command. Though, she doesn't argue with him due to their status and her being below him; But if they weren't work mates? I'm more than sure it wouldn't be a slow burn between the two ♥

So long as someone's bubbly but doesn't take someone's shit; Someone shows their loved ones both tough and gentle love where it counts; You're going to be on his radar, even if he isn't going to admit it.

There's a rumor spreading...

A rumor to which will endanger my life.

Not just mine, but those who work below me, as well...

I'm not fond of lies spreading, but I have my ways of dealing with misjift cowards trying to derail the trust I worked hard into this annoying existence I was brought into.

The rumor is that I have been having a relationship with my Second Commander...

Whoever brought that up will be found and brought to my own hands of Justice. They better HoPe I don't find them... For my works are legendary in this world.

Ribba the Rabbit; Though affectionately called that by family, makes me somewhat regretful I allowed her to join the stats of these beings I command.

Oddly an aloof and dimwitted female rabbit monsters with the mindset of a toddler on the best of days; Always smiling and laughing where she can, constantly getting my Soldiers riled up and playing along with her games... Ribba has even gotten my brother into her antics, but that isn't as shocking with my brothers records.

However, besides the obvious downfalls of her personality, there are some good qualities to her.. The only few saving graces to being in this pandemonium world of ours.

Ribba's speed and hindsight of not needing to see where she strikes an enemy; Able to deal either deathly wounds or just an ounce of their life; Has gained her the nickname "Brisk Lapin".

Having another pair of hands to do that is a feature; Something not many of the others can do. Otherwise, I wouldn't have her in my quadrants to begin with...

Another is how she can keep the HoPe of the others alive. Her ability to be almost carefree and flowing with many creatures down here have easily broken up many fights. She says she doesn't have patience's, just plenty of experience when her toddler siblings would fight... Her tactics are that of a Mother, but it works. Annoyingly so.

But there is something odd with my Second Commander... I have noticed her ears will twitch first to others when they speak to her; But I suspect it's a power stance which I can admire.

Noticed the things others wouldn't with her paws; how she will tap certain items like tables with items on them and slightly hover her fingers until she reached the desired item in question. Or how she fumbles and makes it look like she's a clumsy rabbit...

Whether it's to have others guess her techniques and wonder how she got into my army's ranks or there is actually something wrong with her is still a secret I will be finding out on a later date.

For now; How could I possibly have any connection to a creature who is so opposite to myself in ways of personality? She doesn't even strike fear into others. She doesn't growl, doesn't yell, and takes those who yell at her rather than standing up for herself...

... But I saw that if it's for those under her; She stands up and shows a different side to that-... Disgustingly sweet side.

They have written in terms of how she strikes fear into those who have harmed her section. Issuing in some deaths, which from the aspects of the situation; Were unavoidable.

Perhaps-... The Judge wasn't wrong when they assigned her to being the new Second Commander.

...

Why would I care though?

She's just a rabbit monster; The shortest breed there is, as well. Normally used in the Parlor of Muffet's as prostitute's, somehow missed the memo & joined the ranks...

Perhaps that is why such a rumor is spreading...

C’è stata una tempesta in tutto lo Stretto, acqua che sembrava buttata con i secchi, un piovere pieno, fittissimo, che seppelliva colori e parole. Le piccole barche messe a riva, gli uccelli nascosti negli alberi, i lampi nel mare e li nel paese, tutti che correvano disperati. Sembrava che non smettesse più di piovere, che il mondo sarebbe finito in un niente, che l’acqua avrebbe portato tutto al mare. Invece improvvisamente è comparso un arcobaleno, curvo li nel mare, alto e immenso e per quanto tu potessi guardare con i suoi colori ha riempito il cielo e quell’inferno di acqua arrabbiata, improvvisamente è finito. Nel cielo ecco una luce dorata e la pena nel cuore, la paura, a vedere quella luce, ecco che è morta, lasciandoti un momento santo, benedetto. Come una madre che ti cura sempre, che ora ti accarezza e ora ti scansa, alla fine è così la Natura che con una mano prende e con l’altra dona.

There was a storm in the whole Strait, water that seemed to have been thrown with buckets, a full, heavy rain that buried colors and words. The small boats put on the shore, the birds hidden in the trees, the lightning in the sea and there in the village, everyone running desperately. It seemed that the rain would never stop, that the world would end in nothing, that the water would take everything to the sea. Instead suddenly a rainbow appeared, curved there in the sea, high and immense and as much as you could look with its colors it filled the sky and that hell of angry water, suddenly ended. In the sky there is a golden light and the pain in the heart, the fear, to see that light, it died, leaving you a holy, blessed moment. Like a mother who always takes care of you, who now caresses you and now pushes you away, in the end that is how Nature behaves, who with one hand takes and with the other gives.

DIY Pressed Flowers

Whenever I have fresh flowers in my house, I’m just a little bit happier. A wild bouquet of colorful blooms brightens my mood and makes my space feel (and smell) great. Although, I rarely have fresh flowers out, because my cats love to munch on them. This DIY is all about preserving your flowers in an artful and creative way, or in my case, protecting them from the destructive mouths of small beasts. Whether it’s a special bouquet you’d like to keep forever, or a way to have flowers around even when your allergies or pets won’t cooperate, this project will keep your home forever in bloom. —Jessica

Pressing flowers is an easy way to preserve their beauty. You can use heavy books (remember using phone books? Those work well for pressing flowers), or you can go pro by making your own press. In our wall art, we’ll use pins to float our pressed flowers, creating depth and dimension much like in the artwork of Anne Ten Donkelaar, who uses pressed and paper flower cutouts for her layered and fantastical 3d botanical collages. Check out Anne’s work for a heavy dose of floral inspiration.

I visited my favorite local flower and skate shop (yep, best combo ever), Park Deli, for this stunning collection of bold yet delicate and brightly colored flowers. I think the best part of this project is the excuse to get some beautiful fresh flowers. You’ll be able to enjoy them for a very long time with this DIY.

Supplies

– Pressed flowers – Floral scissors – Parchment paper – Heavy books or flower Press – Glue – Shadow box frame (I used an IKEA Ribba frame) – Craft foam sheet – Colored paper – Pins (I used specimen pins, because I love the gold tops and matte black stems) – Tweezers

NOTE: Specimen pins measure about 1.5″ long, which extends beyond the shadow box frame’s glass. If you’d like to keep your final piece under the glass, you can use another type of shorter pin or cut your specimen pins down with jewelry wire cutters.

1. Cut the flowers close to the base. I experimented with a lot of different flowers, and found that small, thinner flowers that could lay flat worked best for pressing. Thicker, larger flowers took a lot of pressure to flatten and dry. Line a book with parchment paper and place cut flowers on the page without overlapping. Press for two to four weeks until they are completely dry.

Above is a collection of Chamomile, Thistle, pink Astrantia, orange Asclepia, white Veronica, and yellow Kangaroo paw. I have to say that the Astrantia, with their bold gradation of color and symmetrical starburst pattern, are my favorite.

Tip: Try to press your flowers when they are in full bloom to help get the best shape and colors. The colors will fade, but pressing them in the height of their bloom helps. Make sure they are completely dry, too, or they can mold.

2. Cut the paper and foam to frame size using the mat as a guide. Adhere foam to the back of the paper and frame. I used two layers of foam.

3. Compose an arrangement of pressed flowers. Once you decide on your layout, pin flowers in place starting with the bottom layer and working up. Use tweezers to easily pick up the pressed flowers.

Tip: Some of the dried flowers were so delicate that they cracked when pierced with the pins. Layering a small piece of foam just behind the flower as you pin helps avoid cracking and can also aid in adjusting the flowers at different heights on the pins.

T: [haha] yes, but also, remember when we went on that vacation to highland park and you had an amazing piece of pizza and wouldn’t stop talking about it? That was Nancy’s crust! You always work so hard on the ship and lead us so good, I just wanted to bring a little slice of highland park to you.

“oh hey ribba! Who's this?”The woman at the front desk had seen ribba in and out of the place before, so her interest instantly shifted to the young man by her side. If the attendant hadn’t worked here as long, she’d say he didn’t seem like the type to pay to take a bat to whatever was liying around. The guy in leather, with the funky complexion ribba had brought in once or twice before fit the bill though. It didn’t help that you could feel violence off the guy. Barely hidden, coiled like a punk themed spring.she’s been here longer to know better, however. When she explained everything and led the two to an available space, she got, something from the soft spoken man. It was harder to pin down, but Ciera recognized when something was being repressed. Whatever it was, she hoped he could shatter it along with the glass.

Keith made a bemused look at the bat set cheerfully in his hand.

    “so, anything in here? Just swing at it and it’s alright?”The bat was a reinforced metal, heavy, the weight didn’t quite feel uncomfortable to him. Ribba seemed all the more relaxed, casually slinging her own over her shoulders.

   “everything but the windows in the wall is fair game" She sang, bustling around and arranging things up more to her liking. Setting up the bottles and jugs that shimmered a muted rainbow under the lights, she’d occasionally pause to send him a soft gaze. “if you want to that is. The botanical garden is still open I hear,” Keith’s fidgeting came to a end, a flicker of a smile playing on his lips. He paused for only a moment and gave a hushed negative, shaking his head. Seconds after, he made an aborted jump as a bottle flew apart under ribba’s bat. A pleased whoop rattling her lungs.  The blond, buoyed by his friend's energy guessed it was ok to start. His swings where jerky, and sometimes his hits wouldn’t properly connect. The jugs falling, and staying in tact. He heard an amused titter from behind and huffed bemused but fond. After a time of just the sound of crashing and glass crunching underfoot, Ribba stopped her own spree of carnage to egg on her still uncertain friend. A hollar and encouragement ready every time his bat sent a shower of glitter and shards everywhere.  

It seemed to help, his form getting less and less stilted until he was destroying an old dell monitor in smooth, wide arcs of the bat. His voice eventually joined her own, horse yells and kind of breathy giggles that might make the hair on someone’s neck stand up but just made ribba’s grin stretch wider. Revitalized, by keith’s energy she jumped back into it with renewed fervor. A cacophony of violent noise and exhilarated vocalizations. One’s actions encouraging the other, vollying kinetic force back and forth and back again. In one fleeting moment, she turned to see her friend heft a bottle into the air. His hit rang true and ribba felt her breath catch as she caught her friend's face. A sharp, crooked smile more just a show of teeth. completely absorbed, and baby blues a touch frenzied. Maybe falling in love, is the sound of shattered glass.
