Complete Monstober II Day 25: Queen Bansheera

Here, we have one of the worst bosses in all of Power Rangers history, and also the first main villain of any season to qualify for this trope! Here's her TV Tropes entry:

Queen Bansheera is the queen of the demons and by far the worst of their ilk. Bansheera desires to rule the world and recreate her castle and has no care for any of her minions, being one of the worst bosses in the entire franchise. To return to power she callously absorbs her loyal minion Vypra for failing her. Bansheera later attempts to stop the Lightspeed Rescue Rangers from preventing an asteroid from hitting the earth, endangering the entire planet. She later forces her general Diabolico to open fire on his enemies without caring that her most loyal minion Loki, whose only desire has ever been to serve her, is caught in the blast and dies. When he goes against her, Diabolico has his mind forcibly erased to serve as her unwilling pawn. She also shows little regard for her own son Olympius and ordered him abandoned to his fate while laughing. She later has him forced to fight alongside a brainwashed Diabolico, and his death provokes no feeling in her whatsoever. In the finale, Bansheera attempts to open a gateway to the demon realm allowing all demon-kind to pour out and overwhelm humanity, even attempting to drag Carter Grayson down to the demon realm with her after she fails. Bansheera is one of the franchise's cruelest villains and does her evil for her own selfish ambitions.

How would you rank the villains of Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue from Worst to Best/Least Favorite to Favorite?

I know that you love Prince Olympius, but I'm honestly curious on what your opinions on the other villains are and why they have their place in your ranking. Diabolico, Vypra, Loki, Jinxer, Queen Bansheera, and Triskull (even though he only appeared in the Lightspeed Rescue x Lost Galaxy crossover "Trakeena's Revenge" and only worked for Trakeena).

Alright then, I'm no longer part of the Power Rangers fandom anymore. (Am part of the PUF/The Paul Street Boys and Back to the Future fandoms)

But anyway, here's my opinion on all of them

Prince Olympius: I have already explained in my blog my opinion about him.

Diabolico: I love him, right after Olympius. He is smart, is loyal and well, he has good plans. He is very no-nonsense which I deeply respect. The dynamics with Olympius were interesting.

Loki: I don't really have an opinion on him. It's like he felt more like a prop than an actual character. He felt like he only had one character trait: the idiot and that's it. He isn't a very bad villain but eh.

Jinxer: Not a very bad villain, in fact, I feel like most people forget about him. He has good plans and he cares about precious Olympius. Not the best, but a good villain.

Vypra: Oh, the villain who's only there for fanservice and nothing more. She's so bland and pretty much lost any sort of personality trait after the first few episodes. She had a lot of potential but was wasted.

Queen Bansheera: Oh boy, how much I hate her guts! How dare she abuse poor Olympius! She's a terrible mom. Anyway, that's why I kinda liked her. She did a good job at being a villain you hated to your core. She didn't have much personality and didn't add much to the plot, but she's a good villain, despite me hating her guts.

Triskull: This guy is super forgettable. I don't even remember this guy. When people mention Lightspeed Rescue villains, they don't even mention this guy. That's how forgettable he is.

Swap Dana and Ryan AU thing

so Ryan has a cat. It’s a black and white cat called Bella. He rescued it when he was 15 from a tree. It hangs around the base. There’s a blue collar on her with a bell

When the Aquabase was collapsing, Carter went back for Bella since she usually hangs around the kitchen and sleeping area. He finds the henchman about to attack her before he attacks them. He puts her in his collar shirt and runs back to the others and finding Captain Mitchell

The base starts flooding and the rangers sit to wait their faith. Carter is sitting down with Mitchell, just petting Bella and saying that it would be sad that Ryan wouldn’t get to see her again.

Chad finds the other room through the flooded Aquabase but Carter wasn’t leaving without Bella. Ma Fairweather managed to find something enclosed to keep Bella from drowning. They go to fight Queen Bansheera, leaving Belle with Mitchell

Let’s just say when They get back from defeating Bansheera, Ryan gave Carter a big hug (and maybe a kiss too)

Your Honest Opinion Ask: the PR characters that need to go in the bin. No season or comic limit, just...go scorched earth ^^;

….noooot sure if I’ve got any of those really but let’s posit a few. Keep in mind I don’t hate the characters lol

Detective Stone. Kimberly. I have nothing against Kimberly but I’m so tired of the fucking obsession with her that I just don’t want to see her for a while. Anubis Cruger. Andros. Amelia and her parents. Kinda similar reason to Kimberly. Wes. He’s not my favorite and I feel and about it. Sky Tate. Annoying boy. I don’t hate him but. No. Pretty much all of the adults full stop. Mrs Skullovitch especially. Billy Cranston. No reason really other than what you know. It’s not his fault. Necrolai. Hot goth mommy but jfc getting through her character arc is HARD. She and Udonna met in the middle of the sliding scale of “decent parent” and waved as they passed each other. Her from godawful to decent and Udonna from decent to ‘girl what the fuck are you doing.’ Queen Bansheera. Vile. Dark Specter. There’s better villains.

That’s like. All of them I think lol. And I don’t really want em gone but y’know. Maybe less of them.

Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue was the best show because It was the series newcomer without the Arc Story of Tommy Oliver, Bull, Skull, Alpha 5 and their Friends and with a new Story that It crossed for the First Time with Lost Galaxy
