Wanted to draw a Quebecois Miku, got distracted by our TV shows from the early 2000s.

Ive been seeing a lot of international miku lately and decided to participate...

Québec Miku

Lore dump:

This is more of a Montreal Miku than a Québec Miku but like I'm not from either Montreal city or Québec city, it's just that Montreal is the most known city and I've been there more and so I went with that one.

I would have done beautiful cultural clothing if we had any... but we dont, so I took the essence of it instead

She's wearing a trafic cone because those are Quebec's unofficial symbols. This is not a dress. This is hard plastic. She stole it off the side of the road.

She has the road work and the detour signs as her hair pins and her shoes are the roads filled with potholes. (I love the shoes sm, I kinda want them)

She's also holding a poutine because if Québec has one good thing, it's poutine (and maple taffy... damn I love sugar shack season... I should have added that too :( )

Her earrings say "calise" and "tabarnak" because it made me laugh.

If you ask why she looks so pissed, idk. It came out like that, but let's just imagine she had to talk to someone from Ontario or smt?? She wants them to speak French because "La loi 101 criss" (Nah, it's because we were Canada's capital until they BURNT IT TO THE GROUND and rebuild it in Ontario... like, rude)

Quebec is like the other canadian provinces' younger rebellious sibling that keeps saying they're gonna run away but never does (even if Québec is technically the oldest but I don't feel like making sense right now, I think this is obvious by the fact she's wearing a neon plastic cylinder...)

This is half shaded, not rendered and honestly kinda shitty but its 1 am and this took wayyy longer than it should for what is essentially a shitpost and I wanna go to sleep but I had to do this first- and I forgot to sign so plz dont steal or repost... I mean, idk why u would cuz this sucks ass but yk-

obviously I had to make her swear in french canadian. bruv was not prepared for the -40° temp outside. it’s fucken wimbdy. but nothing a good ol’ warm plate of poutine can’t fix 😌🍟 (poutine emoji when)

It’s honestly been such a blast to see all the Mikus around the world! Haven’t felt this way since Goncharov honestly! It’s all very wholesome 🤗
