Fred Weasley had made quite the name for himself in Hogwarts as of late. You loved the boy dearly but in simple terms he’d become something of a womaniser. It was lighthearted, for the most part, girls knew what they were getting into with Fred, it was black and white and completely unsentimental. With him, a snog was just a snog and a shag was just a shag, there was no confusion over whether or not there was something more there with Fred, there wasn’t and, you supposed, as a teenage girl that there was a certain appeal to that sort of physical transaction. Even though Fred was becoming increasingly hard to catch by himself without a random girl hanging from his arm, he was very particular about who he chose to keep as company on any given night.

Unfortunately for you, it seemed that the criteria was “anyone who isn’t Y/n”. This was made clear to you during a party in the Gryffindor common room while you were hanging out with Fred, George, Lee and Angelina. The five of you were taking up one of the comfy sofas towards the back of the crowded room, a bottle of fire whiskey was being passed between you all. Angelina had her head sleepily tucked into your shoulder, ever the lightweight, as she listened to the conversation the boys were having halfheartedly. George was sat to your right while Angelina was tucked against the arm of the chair to your left, his long arm stretched to wrap around both yours and Angelina’s shoulders. Fred sat on the right arm of the sofa with Lee slouched drunkenly beside George, it was fairly late and since the party had started pretty early after the day’s quidditch win, you were all fairly intoxicated when the dreaded topic of Fred’s gallivanting came about.

“Right, question for Fred,” Lee started, his words slightly slurred as he passed the bottle of fire whiskey to George, who took a long swig before handing the bottle to you and resting his cheek against the top of your head. You let out a small laugh, with Angelina resting on your shoulder and George close to sleep on your head you felt like the comfiest spot in the entire common room.

“Go for it, Jordan,” Fred said airily, his brown eyes glazed over as his stared at your form enveloped between George and Angelina, catching his gaze you outstretched your arm, offering him the alcohol only for him to shake his head and greet you with a soft smile, shifting his eyes back to Lee.

Lee, who always had a tendency to talk with his hands, waved his arms around nonsensically as he posed the question, “If you had to spend the rest of your life with one girl in our year who would it be? Excluding Y/n obviously.”

You sprung to life at that, disturbing Angie and George when you lurched forward to face Lee with a confused expression, “What? What do you mean excluding Y/n?”

Fred chuckled at your affronted expression and shook his head softly, “Don’t look so offended, love. He just means that you’re not really my type.”

You let out a scoff as Angie whined, sitting up with you only to wrap her arms around your middle and plop her head back down on your shoulder, muttering a druken, “Piss off, Freddie. You couldn’t get her anyway,” George snorted, obviously entertained by the whole thing while Lee looked like a child who just got caught staying up past bedtime.

“Ignoring the fact that I’m obviously way out of your league,” you started, glaring at Fred teasingly, “If I’m not your type then how come last night’s girl looked exactly like me?” You challenged raising an eyebrow. George let out a low whistle and Fred choked on air.

“She didn’t- she wasn’t-“ Fred stuttered and Angie groaned against your neck.

“Yea she did, Fredrick. She wasn’t even as gorgeous as our Y/n stop acting like a prat you’d be lucky to spend your life with her!” She ranted, glaring at him as best she could through her droopy eyelids.

“I agree with Angie, Y/n is obviously an exception because she’s simply too good for our resident fuckboy,” George added as you and Fred entered into some kind of staring contest.

Lee snatched the fire whiskey from your hand and took a quick shot, “Alright, alright calm down! Here is my professional commentary; Y/n is not included because Freddie dearest doesn’t know how to deal with feelings and, as we all know, Y/n is a whirlwind- in a good way of course- however Freddie can only think with his dick so he would only get lost in her current.”

“Oi!” Fred shouted indignantly, pouting childishly before hopping off his seat and shoved his twin away from you, he squeezed himself into the space beside you and looked at you seriously, his cheeks flushed due to, what you thought was, his intoxicated state, “You’re not included because you’re my best mate and I’ll spend the rest of my life with you anyway I just think, you know, romantically you're not my type...” That stung. The alcohol in your system wasn’t working nearly as hard as Angie’s as she was reaching across your body and smacking Fred across the chest clumsily before you could even fully digest his words.

“Fred-“ smack, “Weasley-“ smack, “You-“ smack, “Are-“ smack, “such a-“ smack, “Twat!” The slaps she delivered were weak and didn’t do much besides cause Fred to fall into a state of utter confusion, “Romantically you’re not my type,” you, George and Lee snickered at Angie’s imitation of Fred’s voice, while Fred continued to stare at Angelina with a lost expression as she went on, “So a loyal, trustworthy, considerate, girlfriend isn’t your type? Hm? Well good because just because you said that you can never ever have her because she’s mine!”

“Alright, Angie. I think it’s time for bed,” you mumbled through a laugh, she was always a combative drunk and you usually found it quite funny but you didn’t need anymore reminding that your hopeless crush really was hopeless. When you stood up you howled out a laugh when Angie hopped up behind you, still glaring at Fred she smacked your ass, slung her arm around your shoulder and slurred, “Yeah. Let’s go, sexy,” George and Lee fell into a fit of laughter as you led Angie towards the stairs.

“I love you girls!” George called through his laughter, Lee hummed in agreement.

“Love you, Georgie. Love you, Lee!” You replied.

“I love you too!” Angie shouted over you.

Fred was still lost when you disappeared up the stairs with his, very drunk, teammate, “What the fuck just happened?”

“Your stupid ’Y/n is off limits’ rule has finally caught up to you. You’ve lost her to Angie.” George chuckled and Fred shoved him halfheartedly.

“Shut up. All that this proves is that I’m no good for her.” He said, bitterly taking a swig from the bottle in his hands. It was no secret to either of the boys that Fred was head over heels for you. He would’ve followed you anywhere, however, it seemed as though every time he spoke to you the less he even knew what he was trying to say; take that night as an example. You were exactly his type. In every way. But Lee was right when he said Fred wasn’t good at dealing with his emotions, whereas you seemed to hold an ocean of feelings and insights to life that Fred would actively drown in if he could.

“She likes you Fred, you know how she is when she wants something. Tell her no, she’ll only come back stronger. She’ll crack you eventually, ‘specially with Angie in her corner,” George informed his brother, reminding him of your unmatched determination.

True enough, you had always played to win and often did everything in your power to complete a challenge and come out on top. Fred wasn’t an idiot, he knew you fancied him, he fancied you too, who wouldn’t? But there were times that he’d be with you and this feeling of home would wash over him- he couldn’t risk losing you or that feeling you brought about, he’d be completely hollow. Besides, chasing girls who reminded him of you would keep him satisfied for the time being, surely. Surely not apparently.

George was right when he said you wouldn’t give up, in the last few days Fred found himself wishing you were his and he just knew you were doing things to make him crazy on purpose. You were, of course. He couldn’t deny that you were a force of nature all on your own, but wow, you were indeed a whirlwind when you acted with intention.

It had started with fleeting touches whenever you were close enough to achieve it. Gentle brushes of your fingertips against his while you walked alongside each other in the halls, quickly progressed into your hand gripping his bicep every time you spoke to him, then onto biting your lip whenever you were aware of his gaze. Ignoring the growing frustration within him only grew harder when you’d approach him, like clockwork, each night before he’d get busy with whoever it happened to be that night. You’d casually brush your hand down his arm, pull your lip between your teeth, wink and tell him to, “have fun”, and he would, purely because he’d have that image of you seared into his head the entire time.

Playing dirty was never something Fred would normally get on board with, however, the second he noticed you lapping up the attention you were receiving from one of the, admittedly handsome, Ravenclaw boys; Fred decided that you were in fact the one prize he’d cheat to win.

“Fuck this,” he’d muttered, causing his twin to raise an eyebrow at him. They’d only just sat down for breakfast yet Fred was already cursing out the day.

Ginny had heard him too, the youngest Weasley gave Fred a bored look, “What’s wrong with you?”

Fred let out an agitated huff through his nose, glaring menacingly at the tall brunette boy, who was sitting far too close to you for Fred’s liking. George’s laugh broke him out of his trance and he heard his brother snicker out a sarcastic, “So the penny’s finally dropped, has it?”

“Piss off, George,” Fred grumbled, his lips forming a scowly as the boy placed his hand on your knee under the table.

“For Merlin’s sake, Fred. Would you just ask her out already? I’m sick of you,” Ginny complained, Fred was her brother and she loved him but this? This was ridiculous.

“Rude, Gins. You better watch it or I’ll tell mum you’re misbehaving,” Fred joked, halfheartedly while Ginny raised a challenging eyebrow.

“Try it, Fred. I’ll tell her that you’re being a git and ruining her chances of having Y/n as a daughter-in-law.” Ginny threatened. Fred shook his head, determination flooding his body.

He stood from his spot hastily, and all but marched up to you and the boy who currently occupied your attention, “Oi, can I steal you for a minute, love?” Before you could even answer, you were being pulled from your seat by Fred’s strong grip on your hand.

The boy pulled you along until you were out of earshot of the Great Hall and away from the prying eyes of the nosy student body.

“Can I help you, Freddie?” You asked sweetly, too sweetly.

Fred’s hands slid against your sides before settling contently on your waist, he shook his head in disbelief as he spoke, “You’re something else, do you know that?”

Butterflies rumbled in your stomach in response to his newfound proximity and burning gaze. It took everything in you to bite back a triumphant yell as you managed a wicked grin. “What I am is exactly your type, Fred Weasley.”

“You’re bloody right you are,” he muttered, impatient desire fuelling him as he brought his lips to yours, tugging you closer by the waist and kissing you with so much desperation that you were starting to think snogging Fred Weasley wasn’t as open and shut as you’d previously thought.

BTS reaction 2.2.: Dating rumors about them and their little (idol) sister

So, here comes Part 2 of my second BTS reaction, based on the following request:

So, basically the public is suspecting you, being an idol, and a BTS member of dating, however you are actually their younger sister, which the fans don’t know …

Enjoy and make sure to check out Part 1 for Jin’s, Yoongi’s and Hoseok’s reactions! Sorry these turned out a little longer 😁 but I just loved doing these so much, my imagination ran wild. Thanks again for making this request, and I hope whoever did make it is satisfied with the results 😊

4. Kim Namjoon / Rap Monster

When rushing you to the closest emergency room, Namjoon doesn’t even spare a second thought to being seen with you, hence probably exposing your fraternal relation. What is most important right now is your healthy and safety, anything else had suddenly lost meaning as soon as he saw his little sister laying on the ground, bleeding from the head, her shoulder twisted in an unhealthy, almost nauseating angle and her arm hanging from her body lifelessly, face distorted in pain. „Hang in there, little sis!“, Namjoon whispers into your hair, carrying you in his strong arms, pressed closely to his chest, running with you through the mild summer night as fast as his long legs can take him. „We’re almost there!“ He doesn’t even turn to look when he notices phone cameras flashing out of the corner of his eye. Those nosy fans don’t matter at the moment. All he can think of is you, groaning with pain, obviously having difficulties to stay awake. „Don’t fall asleep, y/n! It’s only a few more steps! The doctors are gonna fix you soon! Please, stay awake!“ Hearing the panic in your big brother’s voice, the worry and hurt you cause him, you try your best to keep your eyes open, despite the street lights being far too bright and even the slightest stimulus or movement causing searing pain to explode behind your forehead. „Don’t worry, Joonie, I’m gonna be just fine …“, you mumble into his sweater. „I know you are, y/n. I know you are…“, Namjoon reassures you, before his soft, deep voice is finally swallowed by pitch black silence. Next thing you know, you’re waking up in a hospital bed, drowsy, sleepy, your head and eyes heavy. Confused, you try to sit up, only to be brought down again instantly by a breathtaking dizzy spell. „Calm down, y/n, take it slow. You have a concussion“, you hear Namjoons familiar, soothing voice, feeling his comforting hand on your shoulder. Your brother smiles down at you lovingly, standing by the side of your bed. „What happened?“, you ask, and he explains how you, too having inherited the clumsy gene from your father’s side of the family, had fallen while trying to reach a high shelf in his dorm, how he found you bleeding, only half conscious, and brought you to the ER, where the doctors diagnosed you with a laceration close to your hairline, a second degree concussion and a dislocated shoulder. „They gave you something for the pain and say you should stay hydrated. You’ll have to take it slow for a while, though, no dance practice and stages for at least a week, and you should stay here over night, just to be sure. But …“ You know that look on his face, his eyes narrow, brows furrowed, his lower lip disappearing entirely. „What is it, Joonie? Spill!“ „Well …“ His voice trails off into silence, his fingers fiddling with your blanket nervously. „Kim Namjoon!? Am I gonna die or what?“ „NO!“, he instantly exclaims, waving aside your concerns, eyes wide. „No! No, thats not it.“ A sigh of relief escapes your lips. „Good to know. Then what is it, big brother? Come on, you know I can handle anything.“ „Well … if you weren’t already lying in bed I’d say you should sit dow for this one.“ He takes a deep breath before pulling out his phone, scrolling for a while before he holds it up in front of you, playing a video. Not just any video, though. It’s a blurred recording of you and your brother, him running while carrying you in his arms, deadly terror written all over his face. Idol rapper spotted with his idol girlfriend!, the headline paired with the video says. The face of a pretty reporter is shown next. „Leader of the popular boy group BTS, Kim Namjoon, was spotted near a hospital tonight, carrying the seemingly unconscious girl group member y/n clutched tightly in his arms“, she narrates the video footage running in the background. „The two of them had been suspected by fans to be dating in secret before, however tonight’s events seem to be the definite proof of their previously hidden romantic relationship. Fans are going crazy, blowing up social media with thousands of comments, on one hand shipping the handsome power couple and being concerned for y/n’s health, on the other hand criticizing their relationship and their inconsiderateness towards their careers and fan community.“ „So what!?“ You shrug your shoulders as the video comes to its end, him staring at you in disbelief. „Is that really all you have to stay to that, y/n!?“ „God, I thought someone had died, Namjoon“, you chuckle, closing your eyes already, resting your head comfortably on the pillow. „This is nothing. We can easily take care of this. Basically, all it takes is a couple of nicely worded statements by our management and our birth certificates for proof. So, please, Joonie, calm down and let me sleep. My head is killing me.“ Namjoon can’t help but shake his head, smiling fondly at his tough, beautiful, clumsy, intelligent little sister.

5. Park Jimin

„Jimin-aaaaaah!“, you whine, tugging at your big brother’s sleeve. „What’s taking you so long? You promised to come with me, and we’re running late already! Kookie can deal with his wardrobe emergency by himself! And Hobi-hyung can help, too.“ „NO!“, Jimin and Jungkook reply in unison, eyes wide with horror. „No pouches!“ „But, oppaaaaa …“, you pout, pursing your lips, knowing quite well that your big brother can’t withstand your natural charm, beating him at his own game. Jimin can’t help but focus his attention on you, unable to hide an adoring smile, shining so brightly it even reaches his eyes. „Aww, my little sister, so cute!“ He lovingly pinches your cheek. „I’m sorry, I have to go. I can’t refuse her anything“, he apologizes to Jungkook, who sighs theatrically in resignation, winking at you behind Jimins back, as your brother takes your hand into his to lead you out the door. Finally standing in front of the building, you stop cold, frozen in place. „I can’t do this, oppa. I can’t go in there. I just can’t.“ Reassuringly, Jimin strokes your hair, next turning to massage your back to help you ease the tension building up in your cramping shoulders. „It’s alright, y/n. We’re all afraid of something. And for you, it’s the dentist.“ „Only little children are afraid of the dentist. I’m a grown woman, an idol, and a national celebrity admired by thousands of young women for my ‚tough, yet cute and sassy personality and my feministic attitude‘“, you quote the exact words of your characterization on the most trending fan page created for your girl group, words that make you proud and which you learned by heart long ago. „Exactly!“, Jimin agrees enthusiastically. „And that’s why I can’t be afraid of the dentist…“, you mutter, trembling, your breaths getting shorter, your voice shaky. „Y/n, seriously! You’re the strongest, bravest, most fearless person I know! It’s okay to have one thing you’re scared of. It’s perfectly natural. If you weren’t, I’d be scared. Of you, and for you. So, come on, let’s go inside. I’ll hold your hand throughout the whole thing.“ You feel your nerves calming already as your brother takes your hand into his strong, reassuring grip and turn to see the warm smile stretching his full lips and turning his eyes into sparkling crescents. A sight that has been the most comforting balm to your every worry and illness ever since your earliest childhood. There had never been anything this smile couldn’t heal. „Alright. I can do this“, you reassure yourself, straightening your posture. „Thank you, big brother, you’re the best“, you smile back at him, leaning on his shoulder to give him a quick peck on the soft cheek. And indeed Jimins presence by your side is keeps you rather calm throughout the whole examination. He doesn’t let go of your hand until your done and even as one of your teeth requires drilling you barely break out in a sweat. Only when the two of you leave the building again and you check your phone for the first time in over an hour, you notice the dozens of missed texts and calls. Pausing in your step, you freeze in the middle of the street, Jimin, who was just telling you about this hilarious thing Taehyung did yesterday, almost bumping into you. „What is it, y/n!? Do you have a pain anywhere? Did the dentist do something wrong? Should we go back?“, he immediately inquires, his voice cracking with worry. „No, that’s not it. Oppa, you should check your phone“, you simply reply, your voice toneless, not sure whether to break out into hysterical laughter or a bewildered rant. Finally, you decide to spit out a cynical little laugh, replicated by Jimin as he checks his latest text by Taehyung. ‚Hyung, you should really check twitter, especially the hashtag #OurMochiIsTaken … or better just google your name and read the first thing that pops up. Apparently you’re dating your sister 😬‘, it reads So, the two of you sit down at a random bench by the side of the street and scroll through the countless, mostly ridiculous, partly aggressive and even offensive, articles claiming to finally have proof that the two of you are secretly dating. „Well …“, you are the first to speak after a while, Jimin still focused on his phone, mouth agape in shock and cheeks burning bright pink. „It seems there has been a slight misunderstanding. Some fan spotted me kissing you on the cheek and they’re all going crazy about it. What do you think, big brother? Wanna blow their minds completely?“ Questioningly, Jimin raises an eyebrow at you and your mischievous grin. „Come on, let’s do a shared V-live and reveal to our beloved fans that their favorite two idols actually share about 50% of their genes. Our family’s gonna go down in history! They’re gonna do all kinds of scientific research about us, trying to explain the probability of two specimen as fine as us actually being born into the same family“, you joke, eliciting a laugh from your older brother. „Believe me, they’re gonna love it! We’re far too adorable anyway for them to be angry at us for hiding our relationship. I can already see us doing collabs and stages together. Our voices combined sound angelic, remember? And when we dance … “ Jimin smiles brightly at the idea of the two of you two dancing together, side by side in the spotlights. „Y/n, you’re a genius! Alright, let’s do this!“

6. Kim Taehyung / V

You feel reassured and incredibly happy knowing that your beloved older brother is in the audience while you perform at one of this year’s most anticipated award shows. Taehyung is sitting with the other members of BTS near the front, cheering for you enthusiastically, a proud smile on his face throughout the whole show. At one point he even gets up, sillily dancing to your music, knowing full well you’ll see, in order to cheer you up since you’d mentioned earlier how nervous you were. He’s so absorbed in your performance, he doesn’t even notice the camera focusing on him, showing his adorable reaction on the big screen for all to see. In the end, you win an award for your first solo album, and since BTS is on stage, too, having just accepted their award, Taehyung thoughtlessly runs over to you as soon as your name is called, before you even get a chance to give your acceptance speech, taking you into his strong arms to lift you up and spin you around, smiling radiantly. „I’m so incredibly proud of you, y/n“, he whispers into your ear. Tears of happiness and affection well up in your eyes and you barely manage to hold them back, burying your face in your big brothers shoulder. The other members of both of your idol groups watch your interaction fondly, the boys shaking your hand one after another as soon as Taehyung has put you back down, and your girl friends pulling you into a celebratory hug. „I’m just her biggest fanboy“, Taehyung explains jokingly when the ceremony’s host calls on his behavior towards you. However, later the same night he is faced with the backlash of his inability to hide his adoration for you on stage. You, too, are being made aware by your manager of the rant about you, Taehyung and your supposedly ‘no longer secret romantic relationship’ having broken out on social networks. Immediately, you call your brother. „Oppa, you don’t have to be sorry for anything!“, you cut him off when Taehyung repeatedly apologizes for his incautious conduct on stage. „I was so happy you were there to share this moment with me! If you hadn’t been there, I’m sure I would’ve broken down crying on stage or had a nervous breakdown or something. Let people talk. I don’t mind. For me it was worth it.“ „But, y/n … We have to set things straight at least. I think it’s time to reveal the true nature of our relationship, so we can stop this nonsense our fans are spreading online. There’s no need to hide the fact that I’m your brother anymore anyway. You’re famous now, too, so there should really be no problem… Right? Let’s do it in a cute way, though. Our fans would like that …”

The following day the two of you get together with your managers to prepare statements which will be shared on both your official twitter accounts, showing older and more recent family portraits next to adorable pictures of the two of you growing up together, stating that you have indeed been in a relationship - ever since your birth. ‚Yes, I indeed do love y/n‘, Taehyung states in his post. ‚She is, always has been and always will be my best friend. I am proud to call myself her big brother and our parents are lucky to have brought such a loving, beautiful person into this world. To me y/n will always be my baby sister and my shining light. Please, be kind to her.‘

7. Jeon Jungkook

You and the members of your girl group had decided to spend a simple and relaxed night at your dorm, watching dramas while wearing your sheet masks, tired after having practiced your latest dance routines all day long. When you shortly switch to another channel during a seemingly never ending commercial break, you coincidentally land on an entertainment talk show, the living room suddenly falling silent as a well known face shows up on screen right beside the show host’s. The quiet quickly turns into shrieking, giggles and excited exclamations in high pitched voices. „Ohhhh, isn’t that your big brother!?“ „It’s Jungkookie-hyung! He’s sooo handsome!“ „Turn up the volume! I wanna hear what he says!“ „His smile is so cute! That’s natural aegyo right there!“ „OH. MY. GOD. Look at those arms! So hot!!“ You roll your eyes, turning up the volume. „Tune it down, girls! And stop with the drooling, he’s still my brother!“ Pouting, the girls reluctantly comply, leaning closer towards the television and intently following the interview, the drama long forgotten. When out of the blue a photograph of you and Jungkook side by side pops up, according to your outfits taken two days ago while you were having a nice afternoon out, enjoying some rare quality time as siblings and friends, jaws drop. „Isn’t that …?“ Incredulously you stare at the screen and the head line above the picture. „Why would they think …?“ „SHHHHHH!“, you hiss at your members, turning the volume up even further. „So, Jungkook, what do you have to say to the matter? Your fans are eager to know more about you and your secret girlfriend. Our sources have identified her as fellow idol y/n of up and rising girl group Radical Romancers. How’d the two of you meet? Is there a cute story? Was it love at first sight? And how long have you been seeing each other?“ You are frozen in place as you watch Jungkooks eyes growing wider and wider, cute bunny grin slowly growing stiff, petrified. „She’s very pretty. The two of you make for a perfect couple …“, the presenter tries her best to bridge the silence. „Well …“, Jungkook finally starts talking. The tension in your living room is tangible now, nobody says a word. Awkwardly, your brother tilts his head to the right, following a habit he has retained ever since his early childhood. „Actually … she’s my sister“, he finally manages to get the words out, followed by an adorable nervous laugh. As you watch the host’s face drop, a sigh escapes your lips. You’re not even sure if it’s out of relief that your familial relation has finally been revealed, or because you can already see the shit storm coming your way, entailing thousands of fan messages to be answered and official statements to be given. „Is that really so?“, the presenter tries to dig deeper, obviously not entirely convinced yet. „Yes, y/n is indeed my sister“, he explains calmly, his voice steady, but his smile still stiff, cheeks turning a soft pink. „We’re related by blood and grew up side by side. hey ive been trying to figure out how to do this for awhile and since some anons have asked im gonna try 2 articulate my feelings about f*nn and this is not going to be very polite and im sorry, its nothing personal and if you have a perspective on him that i dont its fine and i absolutely get you and im glad you can enjoy that! i just wanted to try and work through how the fuck i feel about him and this is ultimately a pretty personal post and not a Manifesto on How F*nn Is Bad (i dont think he is, particularly, ftr), so like, if youre not interested which I CANNOT FAULT YOU FOR AT ALL, just know that its cool to go on! this isn’t trying to start shit or anything, i genuinely dont want to, im just writing this for Me, basically. its alright.

what...does f*nn have even. he’s good in the ring but he’s surrounded by people who are better. he doesn’t have a character. what motivates him? what the fuck is he even fighting for? what is his personality, even? he absorbs the storylines of everyone around him in any feud he does too often for him to be as underdeveloped as he is and yet we are here and WHY???

i mean. apollo. let’s look at apollo! apollo is similarly kinda underdeveloped character-wise and most of who he is comes from who he is irl, and people don’t really play characters up irl! but like. it’s not glaring in the same way f*nn is, because

1) apollo got called up SUPER SUPER EARLY in nxt where f*nn had YEARS to develop a character and still holds a spot as longest reigning nxt champion, and

2) apollo plays a support role! he’s not a main event player (which is fucking criminal in and of itself but thats another issue) and him being underdeveloped+not as fleshed out lends itself pretty well to him supporting people however they need support at the moment. it’s not Ideal but it works well for who he is in the context of story stuff, which is not the case for f*nn

(also 3 secretly but apollo’s moveset is actually really varied and interesting which f*nn’s is...not but that’s a subjective thing obviously lol)

like. f*nn is just. such a nothing of a wrestler. i’m sorry but genuinely i don’t know or understand what there is there. he doesn’t have a character besides...vagueing people on twitter until he gets what he wants and yes okay i know that’s not an entirely true unbiased thing to say and im sorry but also i dont think im exactly Wrong

Request: Y/N is scared that the rumors of Joe dating a celebrity are true.

You and Joe had been in that hazy state of being friends but also being a little more than friends for a while now. The two of you hit it off rather nicely when you first met and your feeling for him only increased the more you hung out with him. But with him being in the social media spotlight 24/7 and also being busy, a relationship, you thought, would be too much for the both of you. Well theres that and another issue.

Last summer, whilst scrolling through Twitter, you saw a few things about Joe trending. The trending links directed you to article after article about Joe having a summer fling with Little Mix’s singer Perrie Edwards.

The boys had talked to Joe about this before and all Joe did was joke about he was finally able to pull a girl like Perrie Edwards. You knew that this wasn't even remotely true as you spent a majority of the summer with Joe and the boys, but you couldn't help but think that it just might be true.

Joe was right. He’s a famous YouTuber and whether he admits it or not, he is in the public eye a lot. So hypothetically speaking, he could pull a girl like Perrie Edwards.

You tossed your phone on the bed and threw your head back against the pillows. You had been scrolling through Twitter and once again, there was another article trending about Joe dating some celebrity.

Your mind raced back to what Joe had said last summer and you let out a shaky breath. Obviously Joe’s fans would love to see him date another celebrity and not some girl who he met at a party. So why even try.

Your eyes were burning with tears and you let one fall out just as your phone rang. Picking it back up, you saw Joe’s name across the screen. You sniffled and whipped your eyes before answering.

“Hi” you said quietly.

“Y/N? You alright? You sound different.”

“No I’m fine. Whats up?”

“Can you come over and help me film? The boys are all busy and I need an extra hand. We can order dinner later” He asked, his voice going back to its cheery self.

“Um yeah, I can do that. I’ll be over in 15.″

“Thanks Y/N you're the best!”

You hung up the phone and tossed it back on your bed. Maybe its just best that you and Joe stayed friends. Recently he hasn't been his normal flirty self with you and you often thought if that would change if you happened to be some famous singer or movie actress or just another YouTuber. But you weren’t, you were Y/N Y/L/N. Just a girl who moved to London because she wanted to get out of the city she grew up in. A girl with an average job and an average flat, who happened to attend a party where a group of YouTuber’s who call themselves the Buttercream Squad had also been invited. A girl who had attracted the attention of one of the boys in said group that resulted in a rather good friendship with the rest of the boys.

Now any normal person in this situation would probably be happy with being friends with these boys but you weren’t. Ever since that first conversation you had with Joe, you could've sworn that there was something between you two. But as the months went on, the constant flirting, being teased by the boys, and phone calls/texts slowed. You rarely hung out with just Joe anymore or if you did, it would be that you were the last person available just like tonight.

Maybe Joe had realized that he had been flirting with you and stepped back because thats not how he felt about you. Or that you’re not his type, aka someone famous.

As you shoved your shoes and coat on, you pushed all of these thoughts into the back of your head. You were going to help your friend film his video, order dinner and thats it. Nothing more. Thats what two friends do right?

After buzzing Joe’s door, you walked yourself into the elevator and let out a deep breath. You were honestly tired of this constant battle going on inside your mind. It was exhausting to think that you weren’t good enough for someone you had really strong feelings for.

You walked out of the elevator and didn’t even jump when Joe jumped out from behind the corner making his weird noise he makes when he attempts to scare a person.

You flashed Joe a small smile as he stood starting at you confused.

“You alright?” He asked, watching you walk into his flat.

“Yeah just a lot on my mind”

“Must have since you didn't even flinch when you usually fall to the ground. Do you want to talk about it?”

“No its fine. Just stupid things. Lets go film your video.” You said walking into his spare bedroom.

You helped Joe film his video which was a lot easier than it usually it. Usually the two of you would be laughing the whole time making him have to refilm parts over and over again but this time went pretty smoothly. You sat behind the camera mostly in silence, the thoughts you tried so hard to push away rushing back.

“So what do you want to eat? We can order pizza, or we can go out somewhere. Doesn’t really matter to me.” Joe suggests after he finished his video.

“Um I’m actually not that hungry to be honest. I think I might just head home” You said watching him remove the SD card from the camera and put it in his laptop.

“Y/N whats wrong? This is not like you. Do you realized that you just turned down food? Free food at that because I was going to pay. You sat in silence the whole time I filmed which is very unusual because it normal takes us well over an hour to film. Please talk to me.”

You were still sat on the ground, your eyes suddenly very amused by the way each strand was stitched together.

“I told you I’ve just had a lot on my mind. It’s nothing really.”

“Bullshit” you jumped a little at his words. You lifted your gaze back up to him, watching as he came down and sat next to you on the ground.

“Y/N please” he said placing a hand on your knee.

Your eyebrows furrowed together as you looked down at his hand touching your leg. He slowly moved his hand away as he saw the unpleasant shift in your face. You let your head fall back against the wall with a thud and let out another deep breath.

“Do you read your Twitter” you finally said after a long and uncomfortable silence.

“..yes?” Joe said slowly, unsure of where you were going with this.

“Today, did you read the article about you having another fling with a celebrity?”

“Y/N is this what this is about? Because if it is, yes its a very stupid thing that we shouldn't even be discussion because I think if I did have a fling with a celebrity, I would've told you.”

“Would you though?” you asked, still not making eye contact with him.

“Would I tell you if I was dating a celebrity? Yes.”

“No, would you date a celebrity.” you said looking over at him. His face was scrunched up in confusion and you knew that this was probably the dumbest conversation you have ever had with someone. You wanted to just get up and leave but you’ve said too much for him to just forget this ever happened.

“Um, well thats a bit of a vague question don't you think?” He watched as your face shifted once more into a frown, your gaze going back to the carpet.

“But no I wouldn’t. Celebrities have way too much to going on and so do I and it would just cause loads of problems don’t cha think?” He let out a small laugh that quickly faded after he realized we weren't laughing with him.

“Y/N-?”

“What happened Joe?” You’re sudden question only left him even more confused. “What happened with us? We used to have fun together and laugh and talk for ages on the phone and we barely do that anymore.”

“I don’t know Y/N, you tell me. You've been so quiet all day and you’re not telling me much. I have no idea whats going on. I just called my friend who I haven't seen in a while because I’ve been busy and I'm sorry but I just wanted to hangout after we filmed the video but here I am sitting on the ground confused as hell.”

“UGH” you said getting up off the ground quickly and walking out of the room.

“Y/N?!” he said grabbing your wrist, stopping you from walking further towards the door.

You turned to look at him, the tears were streaming down your cheeks, making you feel even more embarrassed.

“Will you please just tell me what is going on. You know I’m not good in these types of situations and i’ve just come to the conclusion that I don't like to see you cry. So please, please tell me.”

His face was soft and concerned. You let him pull you into a hug, you're tears staining his shirt. You pulled away and looking him in the eyes.

“I like you Joe. I’ve liked you ever since you walked up to me at that party. And i thought you liked me too because our relationship was so flirty and care free and the boys would tease us about how cute we were and I thought we were cute because I thought we had something. But then there was the stupid Perrie Edwards article last summer and I remember you joking with the boys saying how you were finally able to pull a girl like her and thats been stuck in my brain ever since. We started slowly drifting apart, you being busy and all and our flirty conversations stopped and I only ever see you when were out with the boys or if you call because i’m the only one not busy. I’ve come to the realization after reading the other article today that you could be so much better than me and I feel like you realized that too...” You trailed the ending of your sentence off as you watched the frown form on Joe’s mouth. His eyes turned a shade bluer as the sorrow grew in them.

You looked back down at the floor, realizing that wood floor was less appealing to look at before you felt a hand lift your chip up. You gaze met Joe’s for a split seconds before you felt his lips on yours.

Everything inside of you exploded and when he pulled away you were speechless.

“The only thing I’ve realized Y/N is that I’m in love with you. It kind of scared me a little because I’ve never been in love before so I tired everything I could to slow down this rush I was feeling for you. But now a realize that that was a very bad decision on my part. I never meant to make you feel worthless because you're not. You’re prefect and beautiful and I’m sorry.”

“Really?” was the only word your hazy brain could find.

“Yes” Joe laughed before pulling you into another hug.

“I’m in love with you Y/N.”

“I’m in love with you too Joe.” You said looking up to kiss him again, you're head spinning once again.

“Can we go get some food now that this is all sorted. I’m actually starving and I know you are too.”

“Only if you pay” You joked before pulling him towards the front door, laughter filling the flat.

Its enraging when I hear my parents/parents in general tell their kids, who have their licenses to pay for a car yourself . Not even a split? A loan? These kids are still in highschool! Even after highschool in college, I just don't see how one can pay for even a cheap used car themselves unless they dedicate their life and save every penny for the damn car. People that age usually earn close to minimum wage, and if they spend all their time working instead of studying, that's all their ever going to make. Ex) my friend earns 9.25 hourly at a grocery store (he's worked there for a while so its not exact minimum wage), and works 40 hours a week. He is ALWAYS at work. At the end of the week, his checks are worth about 338 after taxes. A crappy used car is probably about 5000? I'm not fully sure. Someone that age would have to work 40 hours a week for quite a long time. Since they're teenagers, that would pretty much leave them no time for studying/doing homework and a social life in general. Don't parents want their children to perform well academically as well?
