Some of my favorite things I’ve heard this week:
“I LOVE John Wicker”
“How do you Snapchat? Travis (family member) is trying to send me a Snapchat request. If he’s got something to say he needs to just email me.”
“I can’t even watch murder she wrote when it’s dark out.”
“It’s says it has to make sure I’m not a robot (horrified). Why would they think that??”

Unfortunately, I got arrested to keep me from sharing these, and then they were stolen along with my car and everything I owned while I was in jail. But, fortunately, I did take some shots of it first, so all that work wasn't completely wasted.

So with 155k public sector worker son strike in Canada, I just want to tell you that 13.5% wage increase is not unreasonable.
Stop this useless infighting. From lower to upper middle class, we’re all the same. The elite ultra rich are the enemies.
The difference between 1M$ and 1B$? About 1B$.
The difference between 100M$ and 1B$? About 1B$
The sooner you understand that, the sooner we can make life for the average people better.

Oaths of Duty: Defending Integrity and Justice
Tumblr media
"Sir/Ma'am, you have sworn two oaths that carry distinct but interconnected responsibilities. First, to defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Second, to refuse compliance with unlawful orders, as your duty is to uphold the law and not blindly follow directives that conflict with it. Together, these oaths demand not only active opposition to internal threats but also a steadfast refusal to become complicit in illegality—even through inaction or indirect support." —To: any former military Congress person.
These dual obligations stem from the principles underlying the oaths taken by members of the military, law enforcement, and other positions of public trust in the United States. Let’s break down the key elements:
1. Defending Against Domestic Enemies
When one swears to "defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic," it is a pledge to safeguard the nation's founding principles from threats not only from outside its borders but also from within. Domestic enemies are not necessarily foreign agents or hostile groups; they can be individuals, organizations, or even systemic issues that undermine the Constitution, violate the rule of law, or infringe upon citizens' rights. This clause obligates individuals to act when they witness efforts to subvert the constitutional framework, regardless of the source.
2. Refusing Unlawful Orders
Equally important is the requirement to disobey unlawful orders. This principle is rooted in the understanding that no authority figure—whether a superior officer, political leader, or government official—can mandate actions that contravene the law or the Constitution. Compliance with unlawful orders not only violates the oath but also exposes the individual to personal legal and moral accountability. Historical precedents, such as the Nuremberg Trials, have demonstrated that "just following orders" is an indefensible excuse when the actions in question are illegal or unethical.
3. The Intersection of These Duties
The overlap between these two obligations highlights a critical point: failing to act against internal threats or complying with unlawful actions—even indirectly—violates both oaths. Indirect complicity, such as turning a blind eye, enabling harmful actions, or refusing to speak out, does not absolve one of responsibility. On the contrary, it is a dereliction of duty. True adherence to these oaths demands active engagement in defense of justice, constitutional integrity, and lawful conduct.
Ultimately, these commitments are not mere formalities—they represent a solemn promise to uphold the core values of the United States. To honor these oaths is to embrace accountability, exercise courage in the face of pressure, and prioritize the Constitution over personal convenience or loyalty to individuals.

A lot's been going on the past months and I'm barely keeping up!
Tumblr media
Before I go blank, I just want to say how ecstatic I am that we finally moved into a new office space! 🤩
Since my transfer to PAO Oras DO last year, I've been dreaming of a better, nicer work station. The one we had back at the Hall of Justice was pitiful, to say the least. I always had to drag myself to work because I dreaded staying there for 8 hours!
Tumblr media
To be fair, the old HOJ has served thousands of Estehanons for decades. It has survived a lot of disasters, including Super Typhoons Yolanda and Ruby. It has witnessed the birth and death of many political dynasties. It's no wonder that it's now falling apart.
For months we had to connect to the nearest residential house to turn on our computers because the building had no more power supply. Apparently, the power transformer blasted so we had to use a 20-meter long extension wire to electrify our office. Of course, we could not use the AC so we were always sticky especially in hotter months. It did not help that the windows in the office were stuck!
Lack of power resulted to lack of water in the common restroom. Without electricity, water pumps could not work. So, we had to collect rainwater through a pipe that was inserted into the gutter. Imagine what it was like during dry season? Actually, don't! I was diagnosed with UTI later because I kept holding in pee as I refused to use the toilet! 🙅🏻‍♀️

Thank goodness, we're done with that!
Last July we settled in our new home courtesy of LGU Oras. The move was exhausting, it took us 3 days to organize everything! But we were happy. At last, an office space that we can be proud of — clean, cozy and spacious. And with a scenic view, to boot! 😭

The old HOJ is scheduled for condemnation and soon a new one will rise. Grateful for the short memories we had there, but honestly, it's about time that it bid us all goodbye 👋🏻

We know Democrats don't perpetrate this abuse. So, it's Republicans "winning" by threatening public servants.
Hey, Republicans? These are YOUR ideas. You be the weirdos. You stand up for your beliefs -- publicly, one by one.
Stop hiding behind paid surrogates like Christopher Rufo, Moms For Liberty, and psychotic pastors (too many to mention). YOU make the violent threats -- YOU.
YOU #taketheweight.

If government employees are supposed to be public servants, why is this not already policy? Serving the public should be appealing only to those who are motivated to serve and enrich the community, not enrich their personal wealth or power.
