The Woman Who Believed an Unbelievable Message
Almost every Christmas pageant contains the Angelās appearance to Mary. Lukeās narrative about Maryās conversation with Gabriel described her reaction to some pretty unbelievable news. If you think about it, there is much to learn from Maryās response to Godās messenger. (And BTW, the Greek word for angel is anggelos, or messengerāsimply put, a courier who brings a message, or a word from someoneā¦

The Lord Will Come to Us like Spring Rain
Let us acknowledge the LORD. Let us press on to know the LORD. As surely as the sun rises, The LORD will appear. A message of hope for all who are oppressed / a warning message to the oppressor from God
Zechariah 7:9 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:7:10 And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.
Isaiah 1:17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
Isaiah 58:4 Behold, ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high.58:5 Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD?58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
Proverbs 31:9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.
Ecclesiastes 7:7 Surely oppression maketh a wise man mad; and a gift destroyeth the heart.
Psalm 10:16 The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.10:17 LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:10:18 To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.
Psalm 9:9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
Proverbs 14:31 He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor.
Psalm 12:5 For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.
Psalm 72:4 He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.
Isaiah 10:1 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;10:2 To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!10:3 And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?

WhenĀ youĀ considerĀ theĀ promisesĀ ofĀ God'sĀ Word,Ā youĀ willĀ beĀ filledĀ withĀ hope.āā
TheĀ wordsĀ ofĀ yourĀ mouthĀ areĀ moreĀ profitableĀ toĀ meĀ thanĀ thousandsĀ ofĀ piecesĀ ofĀ goldĀ andĀ silverĀ (PsalmĀ 119:72).
02/25Ā BibleĀ verses
IfĀ aĀ manĀ makesĀ aĀ voteĀ toĀ theĀ LORD,Ā orĀ takesĀ anĀ oathĀ toĀ bindĀ himselfĀ withĀ aĀ bindingĀ obligation,Ā heĀ shallĀ notĀ violateĀ hisĀ word;Ā heĀ shallĀ doĀ accordingĀ toĀ allĀ thatĀ proceedesĀ outĀ ofĀ hisĀ mouth.Ā (Number30:Ā 2)
IfĀ aĀ personĀ makesĀ aĀ vowĀ toĀ theĀ LORDĀ orĀ swearsĀ anĀ oathĀ toĀ bindĀ himself,Ā heĀ mustĀ notĀ breakĀ hisĀ wordĀ butĀ mustĀ keepĀ everyĀ wordĀ thatĀ comesĀ outĀ ofĀ hisĀ mouthĀ (NumbersĀ 30:2).
02/25GoodĀ wordsĀ
1.Ā CherishĀ theĀ peopleĀ aroundĀ you,Ā andĀ donātĀ beĀ someoneĀ whoĀ canĀ fallĀ outĀ ofĀ loveĀ fasterĀ thanĀ flippingĀ throughĀ aĀ book.Ā MutualĀ understandingĀ isĀ theĀ realĀ relationship.
2.Ā LearningĀ toĀ acceptĀ constructiveĀ criticismĀ isĀ theĀ smartestĀ changeĀ youĀ canĀ makeĀ inĀ yourĀ attitude,Ā becauseĀ itĀ willĀ makeĀ youĀ improveĀ dramatically.āāāā
PrideĀ onlyĀ breedsĀ strife,Ā butĀ heĀ whoĀ listensĀ toĀ adviceĀ isĀ wiseĀ (ProverbsĀ 13:10).

Psalm 72
1 Endow the king with your justice, O God,
the royal son with your righteousness.
2 May he judge your people in righteousness,
your afflicted ones with justice.
3 May the mountains bring prosperity to the people,
the hills the fruit of righteousness.
4 May he defend the afflicted among the people
and save the children of the needy;
may he crush the oppressor.
5 May he endure as long as the sun,
as long as the moon, through all generations.
6 May he be like rain falling on a mown field,
like showers watering the earth.
7 In his days may the righteous flourish
and prosperity abound till the moon is no more.
8 May he rule from sea to sea
and from the River to the ends of the earth.
9 May the desert tribes bow before him
and his enemies lick the dust.
10 May the kings of Tarshish and of distant shores
bring tribute to him.
May the kings of Sheba and Seba
present him gifts.
11 May all kings bow down to him
and all nations serve him.
12 For he will deliver the needy who cry out,
the afflicted who have no one to help.
13 He will take pity on the weak and the needy
and save the needy from death.
14 He will rescue them from oppression and violence,
for precious is their blood in his sight.
15 Long may he live!
May gold from Sheba be given him.
May people ever pray for him
and bless him all day long.
16 May grain abound throughout the land;
on the tops of the hills may it sway.
May the crops flourish like Lebanon
and thrive like the grass of the field.
17 May his name endure forever;
may it continue as long as the sun.
Then all nations will be blessed through him,
and they will call him blessed.
18 Praise be to the Lord God, the God of Israel,
who alone does marvelous deeds.
19 Praise be to his glorious name forever;
may the whole earth be filled with his glory.
Amen and Amen.

Friday, Thirty Third Week in Ordinary Time
(Liturgical Colour: Red. Year: B(II))
(Readings for the feria (Friday))
(There is a choice today between the readings for the ferial day (Friday) and those for the memorial. The ferial readings are recommended unless pastoral reasons suggest otherwise)
First Reading Revelation 10:8-11 I took the small scroll and swallowed it.
I, John, heard a voice from heaven speak to me. Then the voice spoke to me and said: āGo, take the scroll that lies open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.ā So I went up to the angel and told him to give me the small scroll. He said to me, āTake and swallow it. It will turn your stomach sour, but in your mouth it will taste as sweet as honey.ā I took the small scroll from the angelās hand and swallowed it. In my mouth it was like sweet honey, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour. Then someone said to me, āYou must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.ā
The Word of the Lord
R/ Thanks be to God.
Responsorial Psalm Psalm 119:14, 24, 72, 103, 111, 131
R/ How sweet to my taste is your promise!
In the way of your decrees I rejoice, as much as in all riches.
R/ How sweet to my taste is your promise!
Yes, your decrees are my delight; they are my counselors.
R/ How sweet to my taste is your promise!
The law of your mouth is to me more precious than thousands of gold and silver pieces.
R/ How sweet to my taste is your promise!
How sweet to my palate are your promises, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
R/ How sweet to my taste is your promise!
Your decrees are my inheritance forever; the joy of my heart they are.
R/ How sweet to my taste is your promise!
I gasp with open mouth in my yearning for your commands.
R/ How sweet to my taste is your promise!
Gospel Acclamation John 10:27
Alleluia, alleluia. My sheep hear my voice, says the Lord; I know them, and they follow me. Alleluia, alleluia.
Gospel Luke 19:45-48 You have made it a den of thieves.
Jesus entered the temple area and proceeded to drive out those who were selling things, saying to them, āIt is written, My house shall be a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves.ā And every day he was teaching in the temple area. The chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people, meanwhile, were seeking to put him to death, but they could find no way to accomplish their purpose because all the people were hanging on his words.
The Gospel of the Lord
R/ Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

Saint Cecilia, Virgin, MartyrĀ
(Liturgical Colour: Red. Year: B(II))
(Readings for the memorial)
(There is a choice today between the readings for the ferial day (Friday) and those for the memorial. The ferial readings are recommended unless pastoral reasons suggest otherwise)
First Reading Hosea 2:16bc, 17cd, 21-22 I will espouse you to me forever.
Thus says the LORD:
I will lead her into the desert and speak to her heart. She shall respond there as in the days of her youth, when she came up from the land of Egypt.
I will espouse you to me forever: I will espouse you in right and in justice, in love and in mercy; I will espouse you in fidelity, and you shall know the LORD.
The Word of the Lord
R/ Thanks be to God.
Responsorial Psalm Psalm 45:11-12, 14-15, 16-17
R/ Listen to me, daughter; see and bend your ear. or R/ The bridegroom is here; let us go out to meet Christ the Lord.
Hear, O daughter, and see; turn your ear, forget your people and your fatherās house. So shall the king desire your beauty; for he is your lord, and you must worship him.
R/ Listen to me, daughter; see and bend your ear. or R/ The bridegroom is here; let us go out to meet Christ the Lord.
All glorious is the kingās daughter as she enters; her raiment is threaded with spun gold. In embroidered apparel she is borne in to the king; behind her the virgins of her train are brought to you.
R/ Listen to me, daughter; see and bend your ear. or R/ The bridegroom is here; let us go out to meet Christ the Lord.
They are borne in with gladness and joy; they enter the palace of the king. The place of your fathers your sons shall have; you shall make them princes through all the land.
R/ Listen to me, daughter; see and bend your ear. or R/ The bridegroom is here; let us go out to meet Christ the Lord.
Gospel Acclamation
Alleluia, alleluia. This is the wise bridesmaid, whom the Lord found waiting; at his coming, she went in with him to the wedding feast. Alleluia, alleluia.
Gospel Matthew 25:1-13 Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!
Jesus told his disciples this parable: āThe Kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones, when taking their lamps, brought no oil with them, but the wise brought flasks of oil with their lamps. Since the bridegroom was long delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep. At midnight, there was a cry, āBehold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!ā Then all those virgins got up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, āGive us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.ā But the wise ones replied, āNo, for there may not be enough for us and you. Go instead to the merchants and buy some for yourselves.ā While they went off to buy it, the bridegroom came and those who were ready went into the wedding feast with him. Then the door was locked. Afterwards the other virgins came and said, āLord, Lord, open the door for us!ā But he said in reply, āAmen, I say to you, I do not know you.ā Therefore, stay awake, for you know neither the day nor the hour.ā

R/ Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

āThe earth is filled with your love, Lord; teach me your decrees.ā āPsalm 119:64 (NIV)
āLord, you love everyone on earth; please teach me what to do.ā āPsalm 119:64 (FBV)
āYour love, God, fills the earth! Train me to live by your counsel.ā āPsalm 119:57ā-ā¬64 (MSG)
āGive me more revelation of your ways, for I see your love and tender care everywhere. Your extravagant kindness to me makes me want to follow your words even more! Teach me how to make good decisions, and give me revelation-light, for I believe in your commands. Before I was humbled I used to always wander astray, but now I see the wisdom of your words. Everything you do is beautiful, flowing from your goodness; teach me the power of your wonderful words!ā āPsalm 119:64ā-ā¬68 (TPT)
ā10 Things to Know About Psalm 119ā By Kevin Halloran:
āMany of us desire to love Godās Word more, but are unsure of how to cultivate those desires. Psalm 119 is a heartfelt prayer from the Psalmist that can be used as a tool to transform your affections to love Godās Word more. Here are 10 Things to Know about Psalm 119:
Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in the Bible with 176 verses. It has a similar length to some of the Bibleās shorter books like Philippians, James, or Ruth!
The purpose of this Psalm is to celebrate Godās word and instruction to his people. It is used in Jewish tradition to celebrate Rosh Hashanah (which is Jewish New Year). This holiday is the first of a series of holidays called Yamim Noraāim, or in English āDays of Awe.ā It is fitting to use this psalm in that setting because the Psalmist beautifully expresses awe and adoration of God for his Word. Here is one verse commonly used in this celebration: āThe law of your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver pieces.ā Psalm 119:72
The structure of Psalm 119 is comprised of 22 stanzas, each starting with a different letter in the Hebrew alphabet. Each stanza has 8 verses with two lines each.
There is a tradition in the Eastern Orthodox Church that King David used this psalm to teach his son Solomon both the Hebrew alphabet and the āalphabet of the spiritual life.ā
Many of the verses mention Godās Word in one line, and then in the second line connect it to Godās revelation. Other words used to describe Godās revelation are: law, testimonies, precepts, statutes, commandments, word, and rules.
Psalm 119 is a prayer that includes many different elements, including prayers of praise (45-48), lament (81-88), vindication (132-134), obedience (57-64), and petitions for wisdom (33-40).
David Powlison observes, āPsalm 119 is actually not about the topic of getting Scripture into your life. Instead, it is the honest words that erupt when what God says gets into you. Itās not an exhortation to Bible study; itās an outcry of faithā¦Psalm 119 is the thoughtful outcry that rises when real life meets real God.ā (Speaking the Truth in Love, p. 14). āIt is good for me that I was afflicted, that I might learn your statutes.ā Psalm 119:71
Charles Spurgeon liked this Psalm so much, he said, āwe might do well to commit it to memory.ā Thatās a tall order for a Psalm that has 176 verses! He also had this to say about it from his Psalm 119 commentary: āAs those who drink the Nile water like it better every time they take a draught, so does this Psalm become more full and fascinating the oftener you turn to it.ā
The song āThy Wordā by Amy Grant is based on one of the most memorable verses from this beloved Psalm, verse 105 which says, āThy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my pathā (KJV). You can listen to the song here.
Use this Psalm as a tuning fork to tune your heart to love Godās Word more. Read the psalm straight through and pray that God will shape your life and heart to love him and his Word more!ā

Psalms chapter 72
1 (A Psalm for Solomon.) Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.
2 He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.
3 The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.
4 He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.
5 They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.
6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.
7 In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.
8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.
9 They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.
10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
11 Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.
12 For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.
13 He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.
14 He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.
15 And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.
16 There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.
17 His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.
18 Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.
19 And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.
20 The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.

Unbelievable! The Woman Who Believed in a Preposterous Message

Numbers 14:1-15:16, Mark 14:53-72, Psalms 53:1-6, Proverbs 11:4
Today is the 10th day of March, welcome to the Daily Audio Bible I am Brian it is great to be here with you today. Every dayā¦every dayā¦this my favorite spot around the Global Campfire every day. Looking forward to it every day and glad to be here today as we take the next step forward. And our next step forward leads us back into the book of Numbers. And we are with the children of Israel, who had moved away from Mount Sinai and had moved to the precipice of entering the promised land. And before entering this land of promise some spies, one from each tribe of Israel were sent into the land to spy it out, to find out what's up, what's going on, what kind of people are there, what kind of cities are there, what kind of agriculture is there, what's up in this promised land as they were preparing to enter. the spies came back and essentially gave the report that it'sā¦it's really an awesome land. It's only that we can't possibly take this land. Weāre grasshoppers compared to the people in the land. And that is where we left off, like literally with that drama hanging in the air. And, so, as we begin our reading from the book of Numbers today that's where we are. We are immediately going to feel the response of the Israelites as they get the report that there are giants in the land. So, weāre reading from the Christian Standard Bible this week. Numbers chapter 14 verse 1 through 15, verse 16.
Commentary:
Okay, so let's just kind of catch ourselves up here on where we are in the book of Numbers. We have been at the precipice of entering the promised land. Like, I was saying yesterday, like weāve been moving toward this since the book of Genesis and we have seen that it's been a long view, a long promise, a promise given to Abraham that has taken centuries to get us to this place, the threshold of the promised land. And the children of Israel have been delivered from Egyptian slavery in very miraculous fashion. We went through the entire plagues. We saw their deliverance. We saw all of them leave. We watched them go into the wilderness and we also watched Egypt change their minds and start asking themselves, what have we done by kicking the Israelites out? Like this is going to destroy our economy. And, so, they go back after the Israelites who are encamped by the Red Sea, and they are walled in by mountains and ocean and here come the Egyptians. And God splits the Red Sea, and they go across on dry ground in the Egyptian army is destroyed. So, like these people have seen things that very few people ever get to witness. And they head into the wilderness. And they have trouble finding water and they grumble. They're not satisfied with food, so they grumble. They come to the mountain of God and encamp around it and God is going to come and speak directly with them and they fear and ask Moses basically to be God's spokesperson. And, so, Moses is on the top of the mountain receiving the revelation from God. Meanwhile, the people are down below the mountain building a golden calf to worship because they don't know what happened Moses. And, so, they've decided that the golden calf, this isā¦this is the God, thisā¦this is who led you out of Egypt. This is the one that did all the mighty acts. This is the one who has got us here. And theyāre dancing around and worshiping this idol. Mosses has to come down because God is like, you gotta go down and see what they're doing. And the 10 Commandments are broken there. Moses grinds up the golden calf and puts it into the water and then eventually we get all this revelation of the law and about the tabernacle and about the priesthood and then they move out because it's time to live this. They are prepared. They have received the revelation of what the statutes and celebrations and sacrificeā¦like all of the things that will weave a culture together and knit them together with a common story. And they have to go live it now. And they wander around and we watched them complain more. We have no meat. You remember the meat we used to eat for free when we were slaves in Egypt? And, so, God sends them meat to eat. At every turn, every time they face something that's gonna be hard or that seems difficult to sort of process, something that they can't figure out in their own strength then they just throw up their hands and start complaining about their leaders, which is Moses and Aaron and Miriam and the priesthood, or they complain directly about God. Every time they face something that they can't navigate on their own, they lose it, when they are in the wilderness to learn something, that they are dependent, that they are chosen people of God, that He will protect them, that He will guide them, that it doesn't matter what they see or what their fears are because those aren't real. God is with them, and they have to learn to trust. And, so, we get to the precipice of the promised land and the spies are sent in and the spies come back and say it's not possible. And the people lose it again. And it gets really erratic in our reading today. If only we had died in the land of Egypt. If only we had died in this wilderness. Why is the Lord wanting us to go into this land where everybody's gonna be plunder? It would've been better for us to die in the wilderness than to die in battle and our families be taken into another kind of slavery. We should go back to Egypt. Let's get a leader. Let's appoint a new leader who will take us back to Egypt. That's their initial response to finding out that they may have to contend for this promised land. They may have to actually live into the message of the wilderness, they are utterly dependent on God. They must trust God. And, so, Moses and Aaron are falling on their faces before the Lord and begging for mercy because God is like alright, what else do I have to do? Do you not remember what has happened to you as I let you out of slavery as I destroyed the Egyptian army, your enemy, as I provided food and water for you in the wilderness, as I revealed myself to you and built up keep a lot of you changing your identity from slaves to chosen, as I've led you right here to the threshold of your promise, what else do I have to do? An in the end what God determines is essentially you have not learned the lesson of the wilderness yet. This wilderness is here to shape you so that you can boldly live your lives without fear knowing that I am with you right in the middle of your camp. I am right in the middle of this story. Until you realize that it's not gonna work out for you in this land of promise. You have to turn back. And in the process God determines that everyone who had seen all the things that we just talked about from Egypt forward, they had gotten to see this with their very own eyes. And now there's an emerging generation, the next generation is beginning to take its foothold and to take its leadership. And, so, all of these people who had seen all that God had done, they could poison this next generation. And, so, they are being instructed to turn back into the wilderness and head back toward the Red Sea. And of course, some people begin to realize the gravity of the situation, and are like, weāre sorry, we want to obey God now. We want to obey Him. Weāre sorry. Weāreā¦letā¦let's go, let's do it. Moses is like, yeah, the lesson isnāt learned, and God is not with you and if you go in it's not gonna go well, which is exactly what they did. They rebelled again after being instructed by the Lord again. They decided, no, weāre ready to obey You now and they go in and they get pummeled. And, so, that's where we find ourselves, heading back into the wilderness as a new generation emerges. And we will see some review of things that we may have heard before in the giving of the law because this new generation is being taught to do what their parents would not. And in the process of all of this, the mistrust and distrust of God in the face of hardship is dooming a generation to die in the wilderness and is burdening a future generation to go do what their parents wouldn't. Thereās a generation of people that have to rise up and take the promised land when they were supposed to be the first generation to live free in it. Trusting God in the wilderness is one of the most important lessons ever learn in our lives and we will continue to circle and lead ourselves into places of wilderness until we learn this. We all find ourselves wandering in the wilderness in our lives from time to time. We find ourselves in wilderness seasons. If we can just hearken back to what the wilderness teaches us in the Bible, it's that the lesson here, the growth here is to become intimately acutely aware that we are utterly dependent on God and we must trust Him. It is the only way forward. It is the only way out of the wilderness. And if we think about our wilderness seasons, we realize that those seasons take an awful lot of energy. They take a lot of emotional energy because it's hard, but they take a lot of energy because weāre using all of our mental capacity to try to figure out how to get ourselves out of it when the lesson is trust. There is a path out of this into promise. Trust. Move forward one step at a time and trust that we are utterly dependent on God. He is our source of life. There is no other place to place our hope. There is no other. Trust is the lesson here. And we are watching the children of Israel simply mimic our own stories. And maybe this is a good time to realize that they are staying in the wilderness longer than they needed to. And maybe that's true of us. Maybe if we weāre in the wilderness right now and we begin to trust that we won't know matter what things look like we have moved one step toward freedom every single day, one step toward promise every single day, as we trust in the goodness of God and the wisdom of God in our lives.
Prayer:
Father, we invite You into that. This touches all of us, every single one of us as it touched Your people. And as You continue to teach and train them this brings an enormous perspective. And, so, now we repent and begin to change the way we were looking at things and change our minds and run toward You and not with accusation wondering why You're not doing what we want You to do, but we run to You for protection. We trust You to help us navigate the seasons of our lives and when we stop doing that we feel like were alone in the wilderness and that speaks so much. And, so, we are soā¦we are so grateful for what You teach us in the Scriptures in the stories of the lives of those who have gone before us. Come Holy Spirit show us how to trust You, how to put our full hope in You alone no matter where we are in life. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Community Prayer and Praise:
Hi this is Ken from New Hampshire. I'm asking the DAB community to pray for my wife Marilyn she's a little under the weather right now. She'sā¦we haven't come backā¦from coming back from the trip to Israel this year. Iāve come back pretty good but my wide hasn't come back yet. So, I would ask for prayers for her to lift her up to strengthen her to get her back on her feet. And I thank you so much for this family and this prayerā¦prayer family. In Jesusā name. Amen.
Good morning DAB family this is Dennis from Ennis TX and I called in a little over two months ago now for a prayer request for my wife Angie otherwise known as mayor Angie who's the mayor of our town. I called regarding the unexplained sudden death of her youngest adult daughter who was found unresponsive by her eldest son. On the night of the incident, which was just before Christmas we couldn't access the scene because law enforcement was conducting an investigation of the matter. The area was cordoned off by the crime scene tape and there were a lot of have unanswered questions and we did our best to not speculate foul play was involved. It's been over two months now and there's been no indication of any foul play. It appears her death was entirely accidental. The use of the crime scene tape and everything involved was standard procedure because her death was considered unattended. I and we would like to thank the DAB community members who called in their prayer support. There are way too many people on the list of names to acknowledge and that would be way too long for this message. We'd also like to thank all the DAB community members who did not call in but prayed for us as silently __. The wife is actually doing rather well, surprisingly well actually despite the circumstances and if she's well that generally means that I'm going to be well. I attribute that wellness to the support of this community and your prayers, which have lifted both of us up, especially her during the past few months which have been difficult. I believe it's been her faith and your prayers that got us through. We love you. We thank you very much.
Hi Daily Audio Bible this is Rivka currently in Ohio headed for Florida hopefully soon. So, I just wanted to let you know my mom passed away yesterday at 2:10 PM. So, I have this verse that is just perfect for her it's Song of Solomon 2:10. There is no mistake about it. My beloved, that's Yeshua, speaks and says to me arise my love, my fare when I come away. For now, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone, the flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtle dove is heard in our land. So, we thank You God that this verse is for us, Your bride, that You are coming to get us, those who believe in You and thatā¦that You are wiping away every tear from our eyes, that You are making all things new. So, we thank You Jesus. We thank You for loving us. Thank You for Your springtime, yeah, that we can rest and hope in that in Yeshua's name. Amen. And thank you Brian for that song that you played on March 2nd. It was perfect that you always know how to do thatā¦yeahā¦and the scriptures too. In Yeshua's name. Amen.
Good morning DAB family this is Samantha from Tennessee. I am calling because I need or my friend needs some serious prayer right now. She has a disease called mast cell which basically just makes her body have an allergic reaction to whatever it decides to. And right now, she's in a situation where she has not been able to eat anything or receive any nutrients for two weeks and now her body cannot even ingest water without going into anaphylaxis where her throat closes up. I don't know what the doctor's next step is other than putting her on a Benadryl trip, but she needs a miracle. The Lord has already healed her once and we have seen it happen again and again and her faith is strong. But simply, she needs to eat and drink something soon. She's under 100 pounds and very sick. So, I'd really appreciate you guys prayers.
Hi friends this is Susie in California just heavy hearted overā¦I have a nephew, a great nephew that is just about 8 years old this month and heā¦he's on the spectrum with autism. He's been running out and escaping the house, even the classroom at school, running straight out into traffic. It's been very challenging. As close as they try to keep their eye on them things have happened where he's been able to escape, and he doesn't even realize the danger. He has never been hit by a car, but it has been close so many times. This has happened at least four times now. The parents are just distraught andā¦and their grandmother, my sister. Anyway, if you could kind of just be praying for them to know how to keep him safe and what to do and, you know, even that God would heal his little body. Thank you.
Hello family it's Drew from the Bay Area this time calling in with a praise report. I'll give you that at the end and then I also would like toā¦to share the feelings I have that I believe is guided by the Holy Spirit living in me and living in you. We are one in Christ. We are one through the blood of Jesus, the risen Christ, the resurrected one who left us the Comforter. Yes, weāre not to be overwhelmed by this world in broken relationships. As one pastor told me, bury that relationship, and turn from it. Realize that the death of a relationship is the birth of a new one, a new one that you have in Christ, and a new walk. Don't let peopleā¦people and their burdens and theirā¦and their betrayals take up rent, take up room in your head rent free. Just let go and God will take over. Just be overwhelmed with His love and share it with others with a smile just with your eyes and a kind word that's all you need. You need Jesus more than you need anything else and you'll feel better no matter what your health condition is. Trust him. He loves you. Thank you. I love you. I'll keep praying for all of you. Drew from the Bay Area. And thank you Brian and Jill for this ministry and all those behind the scenes. You are serving God in a very worthy way.

A Call to Repentance
1 Gather yourselves together, yes, gather together, you nation that has no shame,
2 before the appointed time when the day passes as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD comes on you, before the day of the LORD's anger comes on you.
3 Seek the LORD, all you humble of the land, who have kept his ordinances. Seek righteousness. Seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the LORD's anger.
4 For Gaza will be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation. They will drive out Ashdod at noonday, and Ekron will be rooted up.
5 Woe to the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Cherethites. The word of the LORD is against you, Canaan, the land of the Philistines. I will destroy you, that there will be no inhabitant.
6 The sea coast will be pastures, with cottages for shepherds and folds for flocks.
7 The coast will be for the remnant of the house of Judah. They will find pasture. In the houses of Ashkelon, they will lie down in the evening, for the LORD, their God, will visit them, and restore them.
8 I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the insults of the people of Ammon, with which they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border.
9 Therefore as I live, says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, surely Moab will be as Sodom, and the people of Ammon as Gomorrah, a possession of nettles, and salt pits, and a perpetual desolation. The remnant of my people will plunder them, and the survivors of my nation will inherit them.
10 This they will have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of the LORD of hosts.
11 The LORD will be awesome to them, for he will famish all the gods of the land. Men will worship him, everyone from his place, even all the shores of the nations.
12 You Cushites also, you will be killed by my sword.
13 He will stretch out his hand against the north, destroy Assyria, and will make Nineveh a desolation, as dry as the wilderness.
14 Herds will lie down in the midst of her, all the animals of the nations. Both the pelican and the porcupine will lodge in its capitals. Their calls will echo through the windows. Desolation will be in the thresholds, for he has laid bare the cedar beams.
15 This is the joyous city that lived carelessly, that said in her heart, "I am, and there is none besides me." How she has become a desolation, a place for animals to lie down in. Everyone who passes by her will hiss, and shake their fists. ā Zephaniah 2 | New Heart English Bible (NHEB) The New Heart English Bible is in the public domain. Psalm 72
King James Version
72 Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.
