They haven't heard about universalism and how it was the normal version of Christianity until these fricking idiots changed it. /srs

Also:
And i'm not trying to convert anyone I'm just trying to separate myself from the... odd people in Christianity. /gen /srs
Christians hate when a gay man goes “fuck it, I’ll gladly go to Hell if you want me to so bad” because it takes the edge away from their tools of fear. If they can’t scare you with threats of eternal damnation then one of their main weapons is taken away.

A academic reflection of Dallas Willard's "Renovation of the Heart"
What book would you recommend? “That’s interesting, I’d like to know something about spirituality. Can you recommend something for me to read that would be helpful?” Introduction This essay is framed in the context of Christianity. Spirituality must be viewed from our own lived experience and our weltanschauung[1] and it would be disingenuous to not be authentically Christian and…

Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised. Psalm 48:1
Recently, I had a fall and I fractured my hip. I had to undergo surgery. While I was lying in the hospital bed all I could think of was, how good the Lord Jesus has been in my life. Great is His faithfulness!
I experienced the love of Jesus through the expert care of the doctors, nurses and the hospital staff, and furthermore through the overwhelming love, care and support of my family- my husband, my children, sisters cousins, aunts and friends. They prayed for me and rose up to meet my physical needs as well.
The LORD is good to all; His compassion rests on all He has made. Psalm 145:9
As finite beings, we can scarcely comprehend what is going on in our lives especially when crisis hits. But we can rest assured, that we are safe in the hand of Jesus and that He will carry us through. And through it all, His love, mercy and grace will enable us to praise Him at all times. " Great is our Lord!"

Why We Must Care for God’s
Sacred Creatures
What do God and the Bible say about animals?
Animals are a vital part of God’s creation, each one playing a unique role in the world around us. No matter which animal it is—small or big, dangerous or gentle—we are called to treat them with kindness, respect, and compassion. The Bible teaches us that we must never mistreat them, recognizing their value as part of God’s divine plan. By caring for animals, we honor the Creator and reflect His love in the world.
Tumblr media
1. Animals in Heaven and Earth:
1. Isaiah 11:6-9
“The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them.”
• This passage paints a picture of harmony among all creatures in God’s kingdom, suggesting that animals are part of His eternal plan.
2. Revelation 5:13
“Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: ‘To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, forever and ever!’”
• This verse illustrates that all creatures, including animals, give glory to God, both in heaven and on earth.
3. Psalm 36:6
“Your righteousness is like the highest mountains, your justice like the great deep. You, Lord, preserve both people and animals.”
• This verse shows God’s care for all His creation, humans and animals alike.
2. Animals as Miracles of Creation:
4. Genesis 1:24-25
“And God said, ‘Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.’ And it was so.”
• Animals are part of God’s intentional creation, reflecting His creativity and power.
5. Job 12:7-10
“But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this?”
• Animals are presented as witnesses to God’s greatness and as teachers of divine wisdom.
6. Psalm 104:24-25
“How many are your works, Lord! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures. There is the sea, vast and spacious, teeming with creatures beyond number—living things both large and small.”
• This passage celebrates the diversity and wonder of animal life as part of God’s creation.
3. How We Are Supposed to Treat Animals:
7. Proverbs 12:10
“The righteous care for the needs of their animals, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel.”
• This verse encourages kindness and responsibility toward animals.
8. Deuteronomy 22:6-7
“If you come across a bird’s nest beside the road, either in a tree or on the ground, and the mother is sitting on the young or on the eggs, do not take the mother with the young. You may take the young, but be sure to let the mother go, so that it may go well with you and you may have a long life.”
• A command to show compassion and preserve life, even for birds.
9. Exodus 23:12
“Six days do your work, but on the seventh day do not work, so that your ox and your donkey may rest, and so that the slave born in your household and the foreigner living among you may be refreshed.”
• Animals, like humans, are given the blessing of rest, showing their value in God’s eyes.
10. Psalm 145:9
“The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.”
• God’s compassion extends to every creature, reminding us to follow His example.
11. Matthew 10:29
“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care.”
• Even the smallest and seemingly insignificant animals are under God’s watchful care.
Let us remember that every animal, no matter its size or nature, deserves our care and reverence, for they are part of God’s miraculous creation. When you hurt animals or ignore their suffering, you are disregarding the love and care God has commanded us to show towards all of His creations. The Bible teaches us that cruelty to animals is not only a failure of compassion but also a violation of the divine stewardship entrusted to us. Each time we mistreat an animal, we fail to honor the Creator who placed them in our world. Our actions, whether out of neglect or cruelty, diminish the beauty and purpose of God’s creation, and we lose the opportunity to reflect His love and kindness. It is through our care for animals that we live out the true nature of God’s love—one that extends to all living beings, great and small.

DEMONSTRATION OF HIS POWER
Psalm 145:4b, "and shall declare Your mighty acts."
It says in 2 Chronicles 16:9 that He looks to and fro to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are loyal towards Him. What would it look like for God to show Himself strong on your behalf? Wouldn't you like to find out?
In Isaiah 52:10 it says, "The Lord has made bare His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God."   The word there for "holy arm" in the Hebrew symbolizes strength or power.
God wants us to do mighty things through our lives. We need to break off this negative thinking through which we disqualify ourselves from being used by God based upon what we can or can't do.
God doesn't want us to do what we can do by ourselves. He wants to begin to do things through our lives that only HE can do, where only He gets the glory.
GOD WORKING THROUGH US
1 Corinthians 2:4-5, "And my speech and preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God."
The word "demonstration" there means "to confirm, make public, make known." The Lord wants to do something through our life that confirms who He is to the world; He wants to make known through your Christ calling His mighty acts. We need to quit asking for just a little. We need to ask for "MIGHTY" things.
Psalm 145:13 "Your Kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures throughout all generations."
From generation to generation He's going to show Himself strong. Right now God is looking for a people who will say, "Okay, Lord. Show Your deeds now in our generation." He wants to demonstrate who He is THROUGH our life. We don't disqualify ourselves because of our present position.
SEEING GOD AS HE IS IN US
Daniel 11:32 - It says, "But those who know their God will be strong and do great exploits."
The word "know" there means to "to perceive and see." The Lord wants a people who will perceive, see and understand Him, and they will be strong and do exploits. He wants His people to be strong in His might and power. As you begin to see God as a mighty God, it does something in you, and you won't be so easily tossed to and fro. You won't easily give the devil so much credit.
Are you ready to know God as Mighty God through your life?
This authority comes through the vastness of knowing and understanding our Christ identity.
Ephesians 1:17-19 - "[I pray] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power"
Before we can receive this realm, we must have a hunger to know Him and who we are in Him like never before. We must shake off complacency.
Jesus never just taught; He taught and did(action). He always had a message, but the message was carried with weight by demonstration of the Kingdom, and God wants to increase the demonstration of His power in His people, His Body, now as well as then.
WISDOM AND REVELATION -- A GIFT
Paul goes on to pray, "that He may give to you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him." It is for the purpose of knowing Him. Remember that it says, "Those who know their God will do great exploits." (Daniel 11:32)  One of the “great exploits” is to disciple other Believers into their Christ identity so they are equipped to “Disciple the Nations” (Matthew 28:19)
Let us pray that the Spirit of wisdom and revelation (Ephesians 1:17) grants us understanding into a deeper realm of knowing Him and our identity in Christ as we affirm and meditate on the scriptures in the epistles of Paul.
Are you are tired of shallow-water Christianity?  Are you ready for the deep, deep things of God?
God wants His people to walk in such a realm of knowing Him that as soon as we walk into a place, we can discern what is God or what is not of God. He wants us to come to the point that we are living according to the promise of 1 John 2:27, that we have an "anointing within to teach you as you abide in Him."
He wants to DEMONSTRATE MIGHTY ACTS through our lives. One of the things that the Lord wants to begin to manifest through the church is a people who are living by KNOWING God and advancing God's Kingdom through their calling in Christ, who aren't bouncing off every wall but are guided by the Holy Spirit into seeking and pursuing God's purpose for their lives so they can begin bearing fruit that remains so satan’s kingdom will be discplaced by God’s heavenly Kingdom.
Unbelievers around us will start saying, "How do you do this? There's something different about you; what is it? You're anchored and not tossed about. There's a confidence about you." And our answer will be, "I KNOW Him."

Lukewarm Christians
Revelation 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Characteristics
1 : They have no desire to depart from sin the want to try to get by on grace alone.
1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
2 : All of their conversations are about worldly things and the cares of this world
1 John 4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
3 : Their actions ( No Change in them ).
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Psalm 145:18 The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
5 : The conversations they have never involve God but rather business or financial or plans they have made. Or what new item they intend on purchasing.
Matthew 12:34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
Philippians 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
6 : No conviction of sin they feel no grief or guilt for sinning. The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin (see John 16:8-9)
Jude 1:18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.1:19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
7 : They could care a less about the unsaved or reaching out to them. They outright try to stop us from preaching to the unsaved
Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Proverbs 29:10 The bloodthirsty hate the upright: but the just seek his soul.
Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
8 : They care more about pleasing people rather than pleasing God
Galatians 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
9 : They fear man but have no fear of God
Proverbs 29:25 The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.
Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Line Upon Line Lesson 068: You Can’t Do It All By Yourself
Exodus 18:19-20 - Listen now to my voice; I will give you counsel, and God will be with you: Stand before God for the people, so that you may bring the difficulties to God. And you shall teach them the statutes and the laws, and show them the way in which they must walk and the work they must do.
‭‭Moses’ father-in-law, Jethro, visited Moses and brought his family back to him. Jethro observed how Moses spent the entire day listening to the problems of the children of Israel and judging between them. Jethro told Moses he could not bear this burden by himself.  Jethro then gave Moses some advice. What lessons can we learn from this passage?
Let’s read together Proverbs 1:5; Proverbs 15:22; and1 Peter 5:1-7.
It is important to have a mentor, an older Christian man or woman who can give you guidance and spiritual support.  Moses heeded his father-in-law’s counsel and helped empower others to be leaders. Moses also learned to not burn himself out trying to do God’s work.
Let’s read together Proverbs 9:9; Psalm 145:4; Ecclesiastes 4:9-10; Matthew 28:19-20; and 2 Timothy 2:2.
It is also important to teach others the Bible and the precious truths it contains.  Be a mentor to others and share the Gospel just as it was once shared to you.
