Give yourself some grace

You're the one who got yourself out of bed this morning. You brushed your teeth and did your skin care routine. You tamed your hair and put food in your stomach. You took time to nourish your body and give it energy. You did that.

You dress yourself, you wash yourself, you feed and hydrate yourself. You take yourself on walks and listen to music to lift your mood. You do the things you have to do even if you don't like them because your recognise the importance of pushing through until you get what you want.

No one is doing these things for you. No one has your back like you do.

So you might not be exactly where you want to be right now, and things could look bleak every one in a while. You may not have everything figured out just yet, but you're willing to make it. You have the drive, the motivation, the knowledge, and the sheer will power that keeps you going every day.

You did that. No one did it for you.

Be kinder to yourself. Despite everything, you're still trying.

You'll get there eventually, it's inevitable.

But until then,

Hi Gina! Did you listen to Anne’s new podcast … it is so inspiring and sweet - it is no surprise how Harry is as a person when he grew up with her as an influence. She talks a lot about how being shy held her back and she tried to be more extroverted so that her children wouldn’t have that problem too. It is interesting because Harry seems very shy too, but when he is on stage it is like he is a different person. She also talks about having a few really good friends that she can trust and that really understand her. Reminds me of how we have seen the toxic and fake friends Harry has encountered while dealing with fame, and that he (hopefully) also has a few real friends that actually respect him. Also, listening to Anne just makes me think about how she would never raise or approve of the type of person that Harry is portrayed to be in the media.

Anyways, hearing about the sacrifices she made for Gemma and Harry just reinforced my opinion that Anne is such a strong, kind woman! It’s worth a listen!

I actually haven’t yet, but I read a couple of quotes from it. Being a mom really does tend to force you outside of your comfort zone, so I can very much relate to her struggle of wanting to be more extroverted for her children.

Gemma has spoken a fair bit about her own struggles with anxiety and shyness and I agree with you that Harry is likely shy when he’s not in work mode. Numerous people who’ve met him have described him as very quiet and shy. 🥹

And I very much agree with you that Anne does seem like a really lovely and kind person which is yet another reason I think most of what’s written about Harry is garbage.
