My little Kobold is all finished! What a cutie!! I put so much love into this and I am so proud of how it all came together. Sculpted by hand with @monsterclayusa and cast in urethane. You can preorder a blank cast kit to finish your own lil goober this Friday at 2pm PDT and a second batch will drop next Friday, same time. ZEVLOR COSPLAY HORNS

They are done!!!

After spending a LOT of time studying images and screen grabs of mine from various angles from the game. God bless modders and free cams! I have now managed to do my interpretation of Zevlor's horns.

In the past I would have sculpted these in Monster Clay and then moulded and cast in resin. However that requires two sculptures and they wouldn't buy symmetrical. And resin is heavy! If made too thin it can warp in the heat.

This time I used Blender to digitally sculpt a horn that I then mirrored for that perfect symmetry.

I started off with a basic shapes, then once I refined the shape that when textures and details were added.

Now I have to prep these to my print and I can get started on a headband/painting them up :D

Depending.on how wearable/good these turn out/easy to print.....I may offer blank kits for fellow Tiefling fanatics ....we will see.

My Final Major Project for the second year of my degree in Modelmaking at Arts University Bournemouth!

A ‘What We Do in the Shadows’ themed ticket booth for Nadja’s nightclub with a Petyr puppet whose mouth moves.

Anyone who knows me knows how obsessed I am with the film and TV show, so it was a joy to make something related to it.

I’ve worked my little ass off this project and I’m incredibly proud of the work I’ve produced.

Would also really appreciate if WWDITS fans could share this as much as possible! :)

Making Lev’s knife from the Last of Us for my boyfriend. He left his at a convention, so I decided to make another for him!

Made out of eva foam, foam clay and a bamboo stick in the middle for stability/strength. Low-cost, using things I already had.

Started off by using a template to outline onto eva foam. As you can’t see the full knife and there aren’t many reference photos for it, I used the shape of the holster as a guideline and did the paint work based on aged knife refs.

I cut the template out, glued them together and cut out a section for the bamboo stick. Glued it all together again, waited for it to dry and used a dremel to sand down and shape. I then used foam clay to cover any imperfections and the lines from the layers of eva foam. After a bit more sanding with the dremel to get some details, I primed and sealed before painting, then sealed again once I’d weathered it.

As the Last of Us is a post-apocalyptic environment, I wanted it to look quite weathered, rusty and old and I’m really happy with the outcome!

Propmaker Vs Character Vs Cosplay.

I am so freaking tired. I have some stuff to alter, fix, repair etc for two weeks time.. I'm mostly happy with how it came out. Definitely need to make the red less intense 🤣

I had an issue on the day with the prosthetics. The glue wouldnt play ball and the heat in the hall affected the glue. Normally when I make them I make Encapsulated. Which give me a blending edge that melts away and you can't see the join. I ran out of time for mcm so had to make a straight silicone one. One side was an issue to hide the edge. So I did very stressed out about the issue I had with seam lines. I'm a bit of a perfectionist.

Hopefully in two weeks time at Liverpool Comic Con il have most of the stuff sorted so I can wear it again and not have the issues. 🤞🤞😀

I 3D printed Isobel Thorm’s spear from Baldur’s Gate 3!

The spear head was printed on a Bambu Lab A1 with eSun PLA, STL by Ultima Props on Cults 3D.

The staff part is a pine dowel from Home Depot (it's a little warped unfortunately), and I "engraved" the designs using my rotary tool. The 3D printed pieces were connected with a 1/4" threaded rod which runs about a foot down into the wooden dowel, so it's fairly sturdy. Overall height is about 72"!
