Ok, maybe not directly, but it played a huge role in connecting us.
The client was an elder brother figure I played with when I was younger.
He now owns a leading perfume brand in the UK.
He saw my post celebrating @TechLookBD's milestone and reached out to me.
We reconnected after a decade and caught up on each other's journeys.
He mentioned needing SEO services for his perfume brand.
I shared my expertise and offered a tailored SEO strategy for his business.
Impressed with my approach, he decided to hire me for his SEO needs.
This connection not only brought me a major client but also rekindled an old bond.
It validated the power of personal connections in professional growth.
Since then, leveraging both technical skills and personal relationships has been key to my business success.

🤝 Mastering the Art of Building a Great Relationship with Your Employer 💼
A good relationship with your employer can be the key to a thriving career. But how do you build that connection? Here’s your ultimate guide to establishing a strong, positive relationship with your boss that can lead to professional growth and job satisfaction.
1. Communicate Effectively 🗣️
Effective communication is the cornerstone of any strong relationship, including the one you have with your employer. Be clear, concise, and professional in your interactions. Schedule regular check-ins to discuss your progress and update your employer on your tasks. If something is unclear, don't hesitate to ask questions. This not only shows that you are engaged but also prevents misunderstandings that could impact your performance.
2. Understand Their Expectations 📋
Knowing what your employer expects from you and striving to meet or exceed those expectations is crucial. During meetings or performance reviews, actively seek feedback and clarify any uncertainties about your role. Align your personal goals with the company's objectives to demonstrate your commitment. Showing that you understand and are working towards the same goals as your employer fosters a sense of trust and collaboration.
3. Show Initiative 🌟
Taking the initiative can significantly enhance your standing with your employer. Identify areas where you can contribute beyond your usual duties and volunteer for new challenges. When you see a problem, don’t just bring it to your employer’s attention—offer potential solutions. This proactive approach not only highlights your dedication but also your ability to think critically and solve problems independently.
4. Be Reliable and Consistent ⏰
Reliability and consistency are key traits that employers value highly. Ensure that you meet deadlines and maintain high standards in your work. Being someone your employer can depend on builds trust and reinforces your professional reputation. Consistency in your performance shows that you are a stable and dependable asset to the team, which can lead to more significant responsibilities and opportunities.
5. Show Respect and Professionalism 🙌
Respect and professionalism should be at the core of all your interactions with your employer. This includes being punctual, adhering to workplace etiquette, and respecting their time and decisions. Treat your employer with the same level of respect you would expect in return. Professionalism also means handling conflicts gracefully and maintaining a positive attitude, even in challenging situations.
6. Understand Their Perspective 👓
Putting yourself in your employer’s shoes can provide valuable insights into their decisions and actions. Try to understand the pressures and challenges they face. This empathy can help you respond appropriately and offer support where needed. When you show that you comprehend their perspective, it creates a more harmonious working environment and strengthens your relationship.
7. Be Open to Feedback 📝
Being open to feedback is essential for personal and professional growth. Accept constructive criticism with a positive attitude and use it as an opportunity to improve. Show your employer that you are willing to learn and adapt. Regularly seeking feedback not only helps you improve your performance but also demonstrates that you value your employer’s input and are committed to continuous development.
8. Celebrate Successes Together 🎉
Celebrate your successes and milestones with your employer. Acknowledge the support and guidance you receive from them and express your gratitude. This not only boosts morale but also strengthens the bond between you and your employer. Sharing these moments of achievement reinforces the sense of teamwork and mutual respect.
9. Maintain a Positive Attitude 😊
A positive attitude can go a long way in establishing a good relationship with your employer. Stay optimistic and resilient, even during challenging times. Your positivity can be contagious and create a more pleasant work environment for everyone. Employers appreciate employees who can maintain a good spirit and motivate others.
10. Demonstrate Loyalty and Commitment 🏅
Show your employer that you are loyal and committed to the company’s success. Stay dedicated to your work and look for ways to contribute to the company’s long-term goals. Demonstrating your loyalty can lead to increased trust and more significant opportunities within the organization. Employers value employees who are in it for the long haul and show genuine interest in the company’s growth.
Building a strong relationship with your employer is not just about impressing them—it's about creating a partnership based on mutual respect, trust, and common goals. How to Build Strong Relationships with External Stakeholders
My take on building strong relationships with external stakeholders is all about trust! One key way to earn that trust is by paying your vendors on time. Delayed payments can be a deal-breaker and quickly damage relationships. Set up automated payments and communicate payment terms clearly. If you foresee any delays, notify your vendors in advance and issue a heartfelt apology. From personal experience, this simple practice has strengthened my professional relationships and fostered mutual respect. Please read my opinion piece published in Forbes Business Council to learn more about it.

It's so frustrating when people use someone else's name or misspell yours.
Attention to detail is crucial in any professional communication, so it's disappointing when that doesn't happen.
In any case, kindness is always key, so I focus on communicating constructively rather than blaming the other person for their mistakes.
Our approach sets the tone for the conversation, and by kindly pointing out the errors, we brand ourselves as thoughtful and detail-oriented.
Even if they repeat the error, we can remain friendly and professional.
These missed opportunities can be teaching moments for stakeholders and offer professional development and relationship-building opportunities.
So, let's continue to offer beneficial feedback while being kind to keep our professional relationships strong.

𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩 𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬, 𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐬.
But when I co-founded @TechLookBD, I started to see my introversion in a new light—not as a limitation, but as a unique strength.
In digital marketing, where communication and presentations are crucial, being an introvert allowed me to approach tasks differently.
Instead of seeing my preference for quiet and solo work as a drawback, I began to leverage it as an asset.
My introspective nature helps me focus deeply during SEO audits and gives me the patience to craft content that resonates with target audiences.
Beyond just practical skills, embracing my introversion has positively impacted my professional relationships and work environment.
Instead of trying to fit into extroverted roles, I’ve found ways to communicate and network that align with my natural tendencies. This has led to more authentic interactions and a work style that values quality over quantity.
If you’re an introvert looking to tap into your strengths, here are a few tips:
1. 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: When you need to attend meetings or network, preparation can make all the difference. Having a clear agenda and knowing your talking points can make these interactions less draining and more effective.
2. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘀𝗹𝗼𝘄: Large group settings might not be your thing, and that’s okay. Build strong, one-on-one relationships instead. These often lead to more meaningful and productive professional connections.
3. 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲: Your love for solitude can help you focus intensely on tasks that require deep concentration.
4. 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲: Design a work environment that minimizes distractions and lets you work comfortably. This is especially important for creative tasks that require a lot of focus.
5. 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳: As an introvert, you might need more downtime to recharge. Make sure to take breaks and manage your energy levels to stay productive and healthy.
Remember, your introversion is not a barrier; it’s a superpower waiting to be unleashed. Embrace your unique strengths, and let them guide you toward authentic connections, deep focus, and meaningful success.
Start today — lean into what makes you, you, and watch how it transforms your career and life.
