I was hoping to finish up this dungeon this chapter, but sadly it was getting too long, even with cutting a lot of character development so we'll be giving Valac another chapter while trimming down on some of the later adventures.

She needed a moment to process it.
I feel like the manga showed better how Alibaba's 100% aware his argument is bullshit, but this one might be a bit overthinking on my part. In the manga simply Alibaba's and Ka Koubun's thoughts align, where here we only get Ka Koubun being like this is bs, and Alibaba thinking the argument is forced. It's not as jarring as many other changes, but can be misunderstood if you're not paying attention.

When the princess actually decides to tell the Emperor about some bratty prince's pseudoarguments, rather than disregard them entirely right away.
It's a slight difference here. In the manga Alibaba thinks more about Kougyoku's lack of authority and the fact that she doesn't want to get married, while in the anime he comments how she folds easily under pressure, and then the marriage thing. Obviously, I like the manga version more - there's more of Alibaba understanding the circumstances, but the anime isn't that bad either, as it frames it as him just being able to read her that easily.

But also Jesus fuck. I wasn't sure bc of the wording, tho looking back, yeah, it was obviously that, but he's just saying that, yeah, Balbadd's joining the SSA, so it'd be hard for the Emperor to try to conquer Balbadd, and I'm like, bro, you've been waiting for this moment.

Ok, a change, in the manga Sinbad is surprised to have Alibaba join in. And also Alibaba is, once again, much calmer about it. Here he does kinda look like he's clutching at straws, while in the manga he was talking like it was obvious, how did you not know about it?
But also, it does make me think about that time he later used Sinbad's name to get the pirates sent to Sindria, rather than potentially becoming slaves and all that. It's kind of funny. But in his defence, Sinbad started, and he just rolled with it, and also later did the same again, so.

Ok, so, stuff changed. In the manga Alibaba tells them more to do, Sahbmad & Barkak included, while some stuff is skipped, which, alright, but then we have Barkak being like, yea, people will call for our execution alongside the previous kind, so let us atone for our sins by death, and like ???? First of all, in the manga it's Alibaba who says that people will want 23rd executed, but he'd rather send him to be held in confinement, since he still doesn't want to kill his own brother, and then he's like there's no laws yet, anyway. In the naime there's, like I've said, this whole Barkak being yo so we're gonna die, too, k, and Alibaba's like how about no there's no laws for it anyway, I need you guys to help build a republic, and like. Is it for the sake of drama or what. Also he kinda makes it sound like he wants 23rd to help, too, he doesn't even mention the confinement.

A day early? Really?  
The desert wind felt like a feverish hand against his face only deepening his sour mood. The veiled priests had become increasingly annoying, probably after the failure of their little scheme in Qishan and the conquest of Amon by an unknown party. 
The sun’s midday radiance compelled him to stay indoors in that heavily fragrant room crowning one of the towers of the Balbadd palace. The sultry weather, the unpleasant heat, the blinding sands and the crowded streets.
Judar had been chewing on a dry apple. Nasty, it tasted like the dunes outside the city. And so, he threw it away through the window and slid out of the cushions when he heard the voices echoing down the corridor.  
Yeah, right, at least they had sent his favourite entertainment together with him. Or actually, it was the other way round. 
There she was, the Eighth Imperial Princess, clumsy but dignified in her diplomatic mission.
“Yo,” the hand rose to his side and then heavily fell on her petite shoulder.
“I’m bored already.” And then those eyes widened with an idea before falling to a mischievous smile. This would be fun.

"The Kou Empire, huh?"
"That is going to make things risky."
With all of the Generals caught up with what happened in Balbadd, they needed to start planning for King Sinbad's trip to the Kou Empire, as well as catching him up with everything that had happened in Sindria while he was gone.
"LadY YamuRAI H AA AA A" A yell came from the hallway accompanied by the sounds of running.

A panting magician gave apologies for disturbing their meeting and ran to the head of Sindria's magicians. "I wish I knew you were here so I didn't search the tower first~" Then he started explaining about some magical proof. Most of his words sounded like gibberish to the rest, but it was clear that he had made some kind of break though.
Yam jumped out of her seat. "How did you finally figure it out?! Who figured it out?!" She whipped her head to her King, "Sorry your majesty," and then looked back to the other magician.
"It was the work of the Prophet!” the magician answered. "We were talking about her illness and she pulled out scrolls that- you just have to read them for yourself!”
Mori had said that she had written other scrolls before she started coping down Fate. This must have been what she was working on.
Both magicians bowed out to go test out this new information. Before they could leave, Sinbad ended the meeting; there was no way he was going to wait to learn what other information Mori had blessed them with. Ja'far followed as did a few of the other Generals.
When they got into the court yard, the doctors that had been sent to take care of Mori were already pushing their supply cart back to their main building. The magician that had stayed behind spotted them and raised two scrolls up triumphantly. "She let me take the scrolls!"

News of the scrolls written by a Prophet spread throughout the Black Libra Tower within an hour. Yamuraiha and the doctors explained their significance to King Sinbad.
If even a fraction of the theories in the scrolls proved true it would completely changed their understanding of how illnesses work. If Mori wasn't sick she would undoubtedly be swarmed with questions and demands for proof. According to the magicians, nothing in the scrolls went against any known information. Instead, they gave explanations to why certain things that had been attempted in the past had failed. What she wrote about 'cells' was what really caught the eyes of the white magicians and doctors. As an example, according to Mori's writing there were blood types and most couldn't mix; that would explain why most past attempts at blood transfusions had failed.
The 2nd scroll showed a break down of even smaller particles, and how the structures of different particles made up everything. This was going to bring alchemic magic to a whole new era. Sure, such things would most likely be limited to high magicians, group efforts, and the Magi, but it looked possible now. A lot of common magic of the current day took extreme amounts of magoi in the past because they hadn't found the right formula yet. Mori's writing -if true- could easily be used as a guide to finding the right order of commands for many spells.
And even more than that, Mori had said that she had even more information to share; she had just ran out of scrolls and ink.
Mori's presence in Sindria, and everything that went with it were Fate and the Rukh's guidance. King Sinbad could see it -the future he wanted.

In Sindria's Palace there is a Great Bell. It is rung during celebrations, and to signify the King returning home like it did earlier that day, but it's main use was to ring every 2 hours to tell everyone the time since clocks weren't invented yet. So even though I was a sick person trying to rest during the day, I was woken up by the Great Bell every 2 hours... which of course is also situated right on top of the guest tower.
For obvious reasons, I was awake again.

I wish I knew how the others responded to the scrolls. I really wanted to know Yam's opinion most. Those scrolls basically gave away the secret to Yunan's signature alchemy magic.
I still had the first scroll I had worked on -the one on the science behind blimps-, and the last science scroll I had started. That one was on DNA, and reproductive systems. It was the last one I started in Balbadd. I hadn't started working on it until sunrise on my 2nd sleepless night and it showed; there were missing words everywhere, many incomplete sentences, and I couldn't stay in topic.
These mistakes were too great to fix with an ink knife. Editing was going be super annoying and time consuming since I couldn't work digitally. I'd have to physically cut up the first draft to put everything in the right order before making the next one.
Wait- Did this world have scissors???
Back home the first evolution of shears that could be labeled as scissors was in Roman barber shops in the last hundred years or so before Rome fell. China would spontaneous also create something akin to scissors not long after. Reim and the Kou Empire seemed to line up with Rome and ancient China for the most part, so I tend to use them to place the time period, but the dress Princess Dunya wears is centuries off and throws all historical accuracy questions out the window. Rome was long gone by the time boning was added to women's undergarments, and that dress had all the signs of boned corsetry.
Fuck it. I'll ask for scissors and if they don't have them I'll just invent them myself. I had been drafting professionally for the past 4 years. That may have been for microelectronics, but it uses all the same skills; I could do this. I needed to get a ruler -or at least a straight edge- and a drafting compass which they probably have based on the look of maps in the series, and pencils, or at least colored inks if they had them. I probably needed to reinvent the French curve(stencil tool used in art & drafting)...
Since I was struggling to fall back asleep I moved to the table and pulled out my test scroll. It was full of random marks and some of my early drawing attempts that I used to practice with the dip pen -it's also where I wrote down the dreams from the Rukh. I'd write the list of things I needed, rip the section out of the scroll, and pass the list to someone who could get me what I was asking for. I added some living necessities too like sleep wear and a comb.
The maids that came to give me dinner, and next dose of medicine were not pleased that I wasn't in bed -I was an important guest who was sick after all. And I wasn't pleased to have to drink more of that bitter medicine, but we can't have nice things all the time, now can we?
My voices was strained but I managed to communicate enough. I gave them my list, and laundry (the clothes I wore on the boat) before they left. They'd get me the things the next day. I was instructed to sleep until someone brings me breakfast the next day... which is what I was going to do anyway since the sun was practically gone. I might be a bit of a workaholic but I'm not going to let myself pull an accidental all-nighter when I know I'm still sick. I'm far more self aware than that.
And besides, the Great Bell didn't ring at night.

Maids brought my breakfast (& meds) the next morning and let me know that my clothes would be cleaned and dry by the end of the day. I guess they didn't use magic for everything.
They also gave me all of the drafting and inking supplies I asked for except for scissors. In one of the omakes Sinbad was shown cutting his hair with a knife as a part of his normal grooming. I had hoped he was just old fashioned.
For the greater good and the future of my own hair care, I drafted up detailed designs for a few different types of basic scissors. They wouldn't look fancy, but hopefully I had put enough of a detailed explanation on everything for the smith to figure out what I was asking. Steel wasn't developed until the middle ages and some of the counties of this world matched that so I hoped
that God and anime were on my side. I really wanted scissors that would be a good quality.
And if that didn't work I'd just have to get used to using knives and bladed rollers like a regular person.
The Great Bell rung for 10 am. There were at least another 2 hours before someone would show up, to give lunch, that I could ask to take my draft for the scissors to a black Smith.
I should be resting as a sick person. I should be more exhausted and in pain as a sick person. What was making me recover this quickly?
I still didn't feel like laying back down, so I decided to start drafting up the materials and equipment for proving everything I had written in the scrolls I gave the previous day.
Globally, micro-organisms, viruses, and bacteria were not really accept or proved until the late 1800's. Since Magi seems to take place some time around our 100AD-1300, and Yunan hinting at chemical compounds was seen as shocking by Yam, I knew that my bio scrolls were probably causing an uproar in the Black Libra Tower. I refused to use actual people or wait for an outbreak to prove it like how it happened in history -like how John Snow proved it when finding the cause of cholera outbreaks in 1848 and 1854 England. No, I needed to show how to prove these things in a lab, and to do that I was going to need to explain how to keep samples and invent a way to see microorganisms.
First was for a glass petri dish and other containers for samples. I'd need at least 3 -preferably more. I know glass works have been around since BC, and that this world had glass windows in some scenes, but I worried about the quality of the glass contaminating the experiments. I was going to have to boil them beforehand to sterilize them anyway.
Gosh I wish I had access to nonporous, air tight containers, and a temperature controlled environment. The heat and humidity of Sindria could easily mess everything up.
Wait... I suddenly remembered a scene from the Magnostadt arc when they showed how a sample was being stored. They already had good enough glass. I knew there were magic bio experiments but I had no idea how they worked.
With the realization that I was getting ahead myself, I switched to writing about how to use the scientific method to test for germs. It was basically the bread in a bag test to teach young children about germs but with petri dishes. I also wrote about how to analyze samples with a microscope to see micro organisms so I was going to have to figure that out next.
Lunch came as the perfect break.
Just thinking about reinventing this thing made me nervous. I knew magnifying glasses existed in ancient Rome, but they would be nothing like what I was used to. I had to explain how light moves and made multiple diagrams showing how concave and convex lenses affect light as well as the material of the lens. I ended up also showing how to make a telescope even though I knew Yam already had one.
Magicians were the only ones shown with glasses. Maybe now the rest of the world could have them too.
4 o'clock came and so did 3 doctors and a magician. It was less than yesterday, but still more than necessary to treat or analyze one person. I only recognized one of the doctors from the previous day. All of the new faces looked nervous. None of them looked young by any measure, so I really doubted this was their first time treating someone.
They weren't happy to see me at the table and made me return to my bed -their loss.
The doctor from the previous day was the one doing most of the talking. "Your recovery is amazing. You will most likely be better in another 3 days at this rate if not sooner. It's practically a miracle."
I smiled. "It's pretty shocking for me too." As long as I spoke quietly and kept my comments short, I found I could talk again for a bit.
The doctor was silent for a moment before changing the subject. "I know you need rest, but would you be willing to answer a few questions about those scrolls from yesterday?
The 3 other men looked expectant. This was why they were here.
"I don't mind as long as you don't make me talk too much."
Then came the question I was expecting since I had first made the scrolls. "I know you are a Prophet and the information came from your visions but is there any way you can prove what you wrote?"
I pointed to the table with the scroll I had started earlier. "I can't prove it with the current equipment I have, so I've been drafting up the needed equipment and processes for proving it."
They all turned to look at where I was pointing.
I added, "It's not done, but you're welcome to read what I have so far."
I was thanked as they went to the table they had called me away from when they entered.
'He called it 'visions?' Really?' I had to ask Sinbad later what he was telling his people about me so I could keep the story straight.
The magician confirmed for the others what I wrote about light bending. There was magic to do that, but not everyone is a magician. I had just invented a way for non-magicians to bend light.
Just wait until I show them a prism that can split light into colors. Or teach them how light is perceived in the eye. Or even better, show them the double slit experiment that proves that light is a particle not just a wave... Did they know light was a wave yet?
"Lady Prophet."
I was pulled out of my thoughts.
"You said this isn't finished and there is plenty of space in this scroll for more, but would you let us take this back to the tower so we can get started?"
I wanted to say 'no.' I was still coming up with things to add to it, but I also knew that holding things back because I wanted to save paper was a fool's game. Besides, I could always add more to it later.
I nodded and they thanked me before making me promise not to leave my bed. They were grateful for this new scroll but not at the expense of my health -they were doctors after all.
And then they left.
It was probably about 5pm if my internal clock was on schedule, so I had about an hour before the next ring of the Bell.
Even if I wasn't a man of my word, I would have lost the motivation to work with my current project taken from me while I was still in the middle of making it.
So, I did the thing I grew up doing when I was bedridden from illness: I looked out the window. From the bed I could only see the tops of the buildings on the other side of the courtyard. The Tower that was just poking in from the left had to be the Black Libra Tower.
The waves in Sindria were calmer yet stronger than those in Balbadd. It was probably due to Sinbad's influence. He brought stability and security to his people. I could understand why so many chose to follow him or ally with him. But I knew where all this would lead. As he obtains more power and influence he will stop being able to see himself from the pedestal that he and everyone else put him on; his greed will make him blind to the wants and needs of others, and like a middle aged parent that isn't ready for their child to leave the nest he will take out his frustration on the world that was moving on without him. When Sinbad dies at the end of the manga, Drakon realizes that they all put too much on Sinbad's shoulders.
To change Fate, I was going to have to make sure I never put him on that pedestal nor rely on him for much. And I was going to have to convince the 8 Generals to do the same -or at least to start pulling more of the weight.
The 6 o'clock Bell came faster than I expected, as well as my dinner not long after. They brought my clean laundry, a sleeping gown, and some other common clothes and things for my convenience.
I would have preferred something much shorter for the night gown since I hate having a lot of extra fabric around my legs when I already have blankets. I was not going to risk being walked in on by doctors or whoever when sleeping naked, so I would make do for now.
There was no way King Sinbad wasn't going to reward me for those scrolls. If it was some kind of treasure I'd sell it and buy a new wardrobe for myself that actually suited me, and if the reward was a request then I would ask that he pay for everything directly.
The light coming in my windows changed, and I watched my 2nd sunset in Sindria.
When Sinbad found this island 10 years ago, he completely terraformed it. He didn't get rid of all of the vegetation that was here, but he did break down one of the sides to allow for easier access by boat. The side he carved out faced northish towards all of the other known countries, so no boat would have a reason to circle the island. It was a decision that would benefit the merchants and make it easier to defend.
It also meant that my windows faced west, so I could watch the Sun set every day. I couldn't help but see that as a blessing and a curse. Sure not getting the sunrise meant I'd need to put more effort into
waking up in the morning but that wasn't the part I was worried about.
See- The thing is... I have synesthesia (having 2 or more senses overlapping). I see sounds, letters, and numbers as colors and textures. I have it mild enough that I can normally block it out so it's not too distracting (thank God because music is a main stim), but sometimes I'll hear something and get overwhelmed by how it looks.
Each letter and number is a color. So every voice can make every color, but language, pitch, tone, and accent all affect the colors and textures I see from a person's voice like a filter. There have definitely been some people that I struggled to give my full attention to when I first met them because I was entranced by how their voice looked. The more I hear a person's voice the more I'm able to move its visuals to the background so I can focus -desensitizing myself to it.
Luckily, Sinbad's voice is normally not so distracting that I stop paying attention. Since it's like a merger of every voice actor I've heard play him (All the characters I had met so far were like this.) I'm already desensitized. The similarities across all of the VAs meant that his voice looked like a sunset -full of deep purples and magentas, and bright reds, peach, and gold, and with a smooth and flowing texture like painting in acrylic with a wet brush -like a painting of the last moments of a sunset.
His voice was as pretty as he was.
I hadn't actually gotten to see or hear him for a whole day. But I'd get to look at his voice's equivalent every day while living under his protection.
It was frustrating to admit -I barely knew him as a real person- yet I couldn't deny that I missed him. I feel asleep watching the sun set.

((I wasn't going to write about my synesthesia, but this is my fanfic and I thought it might be fun to reference the colors peoples voices make when the characters talk. I'm not going to paint every VA and head cannon, but I will describe them as I go. Ja'far's Japanese and English VAs have voices that look very different so finding the middle ground is proving tricky.
Also, anyone who noticed that the purple I see in Sinbad's voice is the same as the purple I've been using for the illustrations and comics is super smart and cool.))

Is that a common....fashion in Balbadd?” She hadn’t remembered seeing that on anyone else while she was there but...she had spent most of the time in the royal palace.

About the Kou princesses
"Political marriage is a diplomatic union of two members of different royal or ruling families. The Second Emperor, Koutoku Ren, used his daughters to marry off rulers of different countries. One of it's traditions, wedding partners are not allowed to see each other before the wedding ceremony."
Ok so there is this weird thing about Magi in which there are many countries and only a few are relevant but we know the existance of the Aktia kingdom that has royalty and social issues given the pirate arc yet we never heard of them. We also have the Partevia Empire that isn't relevant until the final arc of magi but it's one of the main locations in SnB. Since Koutoku married off his daughters to keep alliance it would a stupid move from him (or Gyokuen) to marry them into non important countries. So I'm going to assume that ome of Kougyoku's sisters married at least into these countries:
Aktia Kingdom
Partevia Empire to Ceylan (Serendine's brother)
Maybe some unknown Kou Empire colonies like Kougyoku's engagement to Balbadd monarchy
other countries?
I think it would be great to see more of the princesses, at least in the background. They are political tools and the world changed after the civil war. What happened to them? to their countries? to their children? what were their reaction to hear that their youngest sister is the new emperor? surely there would be some inner conflict in their countries after Kou became part of the IA. I would have loved to see Kourin (or another Kou sister) besides Ceylan when Alibaba visited Partevia

There was no doubt in her that her father cared and loved her. There was never a day in her life that she didn't love spending time with her father, uncles, and aunts. But there was no denying that sometimes she wished she had someone to spend time with other than her father's entourage.
"You're late, pipsqueak."
Her laughter rang with a bubbly air to it when Judar's complaint reached her ears the moment she turned the corner into their secret meeting space. Though he held a sour look on his face, it seemed to vanish the instant she stuck out a fresh peach in his face. 
"Peaches were calling me, Juju. Besides, I brought you some, too."
Judar pouted for a brief moment before huffing and taking the fruit from her hand. "You're lucky I like you."
Yeah, I am. 
Befriending the magi was certainly an unexpected outcome for her. It'd happen out of nowhere, frankly. She almost doubled her in age but she swore that talking and teasing him were quite enjoyable times. Judar had been plenty rude during their first meetings, but something about the way he treated her—with no fear of repercussion from her father or the rest of her family—was refreshing enough to come back to try and speak to him again and again. Despite the many failed attempts, she eventually succeeded in befriending the wild magi and she would have never expected to find such a grand friend in the antisocial boy.
"What about pie?" she asked, eating through her own peach as the two sat beside one another. Grabbing the tossing ring they'd been playing with, she tried her best shot at it and pouted at missing.
Judar scoffed and lifted his wand in the air with a circling flare. A ring of ice formed before he tossed it towards the stake in the middle of the garden. "You suck at baking."
"But you eat my stuff, don't you?" she pointed out. 
"Only because your food is actually edible unlike Hakuei's."
She gasped, indignantly. "Auntie Ei can cook!"
"Poison." Through chuckles, she playfully shoved at Judar making him miss the ring toss for once. "Hey, don't cheat."
"I'm not cheating." Taking her turn, she tossed only to be interrupted by a flare of ice that shot from his wand and freezing the ring in midair. He broke out in rambunctious laughter at her pouting face but eventually, she joined in with a mild chuckle. "Are you leaving with Auntie Gyoku to Balbadd today?"
The subject changed immediately changed his demeanor as he roughly bit into his peach, smacking as he bit. "Yeah."
Unable to help herself, she let a long drawn out sigh escape her. "It'll be boring without you."
"Damn right, it'll be." 
“Don’t give Auntie Gyoku such a hard time, okay?”
“She’ll be the one pulling me around everywhere, watch.”
“Try not to destroy everything.”
“Don’t fucking tell me what to do.”
"Don't get lonely without me, okay?"
She expected the usual banter from him of how she'd be the one that would miss out on his presence, but funnily enough, he said nothing in return. Instead of that, he simply sat there eating away at his fruit. The little princess took that as the most forward way that she'd ever know for him to agree. Despite their widely different ages, she and Judar were some kind of kindred spirits in spite of being the complete opposite of each other. Where he was loud and obnoxious, she was quiet and empathetic. Where he was angry and power-hungry, she was calm and calculative. So different and yet the loneliness of not having someone like themselves—he as a magi and her as the princess of the Crown Prince of Kou—brought them together. She wasn't anything special. She wasn't a magician nor a fighter. But she could think her way out of a nasty situation if the occasion arose. Judar could only do so with brute strength and his magic, and ever since becoming what one would call friends with her, relied on her when those situations came around. 
"Always have one of those idiots from Kouha's vanguard or one of Kouen's household with you."
"Huh? Where is this coming from?"
Without warning, Judar tossed the peach pit he ended up with as far into the garden as he could. "None ya." Before she had the mind to ask, from far away, she overheard Junjun, Jinjin, and Reirei searching for her not far from where they were. Both rouse knowing that their peaceful time would have to end sooner than they thought. The little princess, however, still wanted to know where Judar's sudden comment came from. Before she could even ask him, however, he pushed her forward with a gale of wind that blew her skirts over her head, letting her long pants show—something she wasn't allowed to wear according to Ka Kobun. By the time she put her skirts and disheveled hair back in place, the trio of magicians found her and immediately threw a fuss over her current state.  
Why won't he tell me what's wrong?
On the other side of the palace, Judar languidly landed on the grass not far from where a certain witch and her priests had been apparently waiting. His ruby glare fell upon them the moment Gyokuen gave him a sweet facetious smile.  
"My dear Judar, where have you been? We've been searching all over the palace for you?" the empress said.
"Nowhere," he deadpanned. Determined steps took him past the bunch of them but he didn't get far away enough to not hear Gyokuen's next words.
"You depart today, don’t you, Judar?” She feigned a drawn-out sigh. “It’ll truly be lonesome without you here, my boy.” A chuckle escaped her lips, her hand raising to cover the lower half of her face with her sleeve as she laughed. “I suppose I can enjoy some time with my granddaughter. I'm sure with you gone to Balbadd, she'll be so lonely, wouldn’t you say?"
The way Judar slowly stopped in his tracks and turned his head over his shoulder didn't give much away, but the way that his tone dropped and his eyes narrowed upon Gyokuen was more than enough to get the message across. The day she dared touch a hair on the princess's head was the day she lost her life. Enjoying his expression very much, the empress laughed coyly before waving her sleeved hand at him dismissively.
"Now, now, don't give me such a scary face. Of course, that will only be if she wants to spend time with her sweet grandmother. I'm sure that would take much convincing, wouldn't it? Her father more than anyone, really." With another chuckle, she waved again. "Have a safe trip, my dear. We'll see you upon your return."
It was with that that the empress and his priests left Judar be, leaving him along in the grand garden. Heaving a sigh, Judar was intent on making his way to where Kougyoku and Ka Kobun waited for him to depart when a presence stopped him. Giving a sidelong glance, he found Kouen hidden behind the hallway with his back towards the gardens and surely within earshot of what had just occurred.
That piercing red gaze fell upon Judar, both remaining still as could be in that standoff of theirs. It was after a full minute that Kouen finally broke his silence, placing one of his hands on Judar's shoulders as he passed by him. 
"Thank you."
Judar froze for a second, blinking once then again. Had he just heard right? Did Kouen just thank him? What the fuck for? Judar clicked his tongue not wanting to entertain such an idiotic idea before turning on his heel to make his way to the Kou Princess and her vassal. 
She'll be fine. 
Yeah, she would be. With the kind of family the little princess had, there wasn't a doubt in Judar's mind that she'd live through his absence. And if that witch or those priests dared do anything to her, well, they would taste firsthand what kind of destruction an angered magi was capable of.

I’m honestly so stoked that you sent me this ask, I have missed Alihaku and will do my best to do them justice!
Who’s the werewolf and who’s the hunter?
Alibaba is the werewolf, and Hakuryuu is the hunter.
Alibaba lives with a small pack in Balbadd with Kassim, Mariam, Hassan and Zaynab, and as of the beginning of the tale has no idea he’s the prince of Balbadd.
Hakuryuu is the youngest prince of the Kou Empire and has no chance at the throne, so he has unofficially been given the title of royal supernatural hunter and been assigned to investigate and contain (however euphemistically that means depends on the means of containment Hakuryuu is told to utilize) whatever supernatural forces occupy the lands they conquer. 
He resents the job, and the brothers who have assigned it to him, more than he can say.
Kassim, of course, will always have that revolutionary spirit to him, so when Hakuryuu notices the local werewolves begin to whisper of an uprising against the Kou Empire, he is told to contain it with extreme prejudice.
However, the first werewolf he actually speaks to ends up being Alibaba, who saves him from another werewolf from a rival pack, and Alibaba, being the friendly and naive sort, welcomes Hakuryuu into his home while they both nurse their wounds.
Over the weeks it takes for them to recover, they get to know each other and genuinely fall for each other… and then Hakuryuu finds out two things: one, Alibaba’s the leader of the revolutionary forces rather than Kassim, who he initially suspected, and two, Alibaba is the lost prince of Balbadd.
Also, as it turns out, Kassim had turned the young prince Alibaba into a werewolf to save his life after Al-Thamen’s initial attack on Balbadd five years prior to the beginning of this tale (and the werewolf bite had the unfortunate side effect of amnesia).
After calling Kassim out for not telling Alibaba of his true heritage, Hakuryuu learns from Kassim that Al-Thamen is a still a strong presence in Balbadd and would have killed werewolf!Alibaba within the week had Alibaba returned to the palace.
Therefore, Hakuryuu allies himself with the revolutionaries, and they eventually overthrow Al-Thamen and create a far more equitable alliance between the Kou Empire and Balbadd… one bound by a wedding between Alibaba and Hakuryuu.
Who’s the mermaid and who’s the fisherman?
Hakuryuu’s the merman prince, and Alibaba’s the fisherman who stumbled upon this prince in search of revenge.
Hakuryuu has to nurse his wounds after a failed attempt to retake his kingdom from his mother, who’s possessed by an evil spirit within the ocean.
Alibaba nurses him back to health, finding a cavern Hakuryuu could hide in and chatting with him during a pit stop he takes every day. 
They fall deeply in love with each other, but Hakuryuu is told that in order to gain an alliance with the country Alibaba is from, he must marry their royalty.
Alibaba promises to help any way he can, but is taken away by the guards before he can do anything.
The guards drag him to the palace, and Alibaba expects to be executed, only to find a glimmer of happy recognition in the king’s eyes: turns out Alibaba is King Rashid’s illegitimate son.
Alibaba asks his father if he has specified which royal would marry Prince Hakuryuu of the Deep, and Rashid says he hasn’t; Alibaba immediately volunteers for the position, and Rashid sighs in relief; he hadn’t been looking forward to asking either Ahbmad or Sahbmad to part with their lovers for an arranged marriage.
Hakuryuu is resigned to killing either the royal he is assigned to marry or himself rather than gaining the alliance through a loveless marriage, so imagine his shock when the royal he’s to be wed to is the fisherman he had fallen madly in love with.
After a joyous reunion, they are swiftly wed, and Alibaba and Hakuryuu work together to regain Hakuryuu’s kingdom and even save Hakuryuu’s mother from the evil spirit that had been possessing her.
Who’s the witch and who’s the familiar?
Hakuryuu’s the witch, and Alibaba’s the familiar.
Alibaba’s a familiar who can shift into various animals, most often either a cat, a salamander or a golden retriever.
Hakuryuu specializes in life magic, and he uses his powers to create various remedies and prosthetics for people.
Alibaba’s dog form is often used as a therapy dog, and he is beloved by all Hakuryuu’s patients.
Alibaba’s human form, however, is most beloved by Hakuryuu himself.
Who’s the barista and who’s the coffee addict?
Hakuryuu’s the barista, Alibaba’s the coffee addict.
Being a barista is Hakuryuu’s first job after graduating college, and his family has pointedly told him to use it to improve his social skills.
Hakuryuu does come to like his job, especially when he’s allowed to bake some pastries for the shop, and especially whenever one of the regulars shows up.
Alibaba comes to the coffee shop every Monday through Friday at 2:47pm on the dot, near the end of Hakuryuu’s shift.
Much to Hakuryuu’s surprise, it’s the one thing on Alibaba’s schedule that he religiously follows (he’s generally late to everything else on his schedule, but never for Hakuryuu’s coffee and final batch of fresh madeleines for the day).
Turns out Alibaba is an up-and-coming wholesaler for fabrics and other decorative items for clothing, and Hakuryuu is shocked by the world Alibaba speaks of and brings him into afterward.
They eventually find themselves chatting after Hakuryuu’s shifts end (at 3:15pm), and Hakuryuu sees to it that Alibaba better manage his time, while Alibaba helps Hakuryuu loosen up and make friends.
Eventually they recognize their feelings for each other and ask each other out. Eventually.
But wait… there’s more!  Under the cut, of course!
Who’s the professor and who’s the TA?
Alibaba’s the professor, Hakuryuu’s the TA.
Alibaba is a brilliant but scatterbrained international economics professor who regularly goes off tangent with stories of “the absolute best muhammara I have ever tasted in this small restaurant in Syria”, soldiers who could carry a tune better than most opera singers he knew, and of course his many romances with people around the world, all embarrassingly failed.
Hakuryuu is the equally brilliant but extremely disgruntled TA who has to keep Alibaba on track.
Much to Hakuryuu’s surprise, Alibaba and his classes remain extremely popular even with his ramblings. He initially suspects that it’s because he’s an easy A, but after the first round of graded essays that resulted in only 1 A and 2 A- in a class of 100, Hakuryuu’s mind is changed.
Alibaba helps Hakuryuu with his doctoral thesis from time to time, and Hakuryuu learns why Alibaba consistently rambles in his classes (and why even though he’s only a year older than Hakuryuu he’s already on the brink of getting tenure): he tells the stories to remind the students that yes, we are dealing with international economies, but there are people, real life human people, at the center of them all.
Hakuryuu and Alibaba fall deeply for each other, but they don’t date until after Hakuryuu finishes his doctorate and becomes a fellow professor.
Then they become rival professors… and hilarity ensures.
Who’s the knight and who’s the prince(ss)?
This can honestly go either way with the two of them, especially since they’re both princes in canon, but I think for the sake of this ask, Alibaba’s the knight and Hakuryuu’s the runaway prince.
Hakuryuu and Alibaba ran from their country once Hakuryuu’s father was violently overthrown, and they end up taking care of each other on the road.
They find their way to Alibaba’s home country, where they recover with the help of Prince Kassim and Princess Mariam (they both love Alibaba as a brother).
Hakuryuu initially clashes with Kassim, but eventually they come to an understanding and an alliance, which helps Hakuryuu retake the throne a few years later.
Alibaba is torn between his love for Hakuryuu and his love for his home country at one point, but that ends up being resolved when the terms of the alliance between their countries are laid out: Hakuryuu and Alibaba are to be wed, and if Kassim finds out that Hakuryuu has hurt Alibaba, war will quite literally ensue.
Alibaba then chides Kassim for being an overprotective king.
Who’s the teacher and who’s the single parent?
Alibaba is the teacher, and Hakuryuu’s the single parent.
Hakuryuu and Morgiana were previously married, but after having their daughter Ymir, they came to the realization that their marriage was more lavender in nature than either of them anticipated. 
Therefore, they divorced on the most amicable of terms, and Hakuryuu gained primary custody of Ymir (Morgiana and her girlfriend Myron happily see Ymir on weekends and holidays).
Alibaba is the drama teacher at Ymir’s high school, and the plays he puts on are… extremely ambitious for the funding they get.
Ymir is a very talented albeit very shy actress, and Alibaba is one of the only people who can bring her out of her shell. The friends she makes in her drama class are the only other ones who see her outside her shell.
Hakuryuu initially doesn’t see the point in her taking drama as an after-school elective when mock UN, mock trial, or any sport at all would get her noticed more quickly by better colleges, but Alibaba angrily insists he sit in on one of their rehearsals.
Hakuryuu is pleasantly surprised to watch an expressive, passionately talented, and most of all happy Ymir rehearsing on the stage.
“You notice it too, don’t you? Your daughter is an excellent actress, and I think she could make it big with the right support.”
Ymir and the students also notice something… a possible spark between the drama teacher and Ymir’s dad…? Cue the fan fiction.
The whole class cheers when after Ymir graduates senior year with a full ride to Tisch School of the Arts, Alibaba and Hakuryuu finally get together.
Who’s the writer and who’s the editor?
Alibaba is the writer, and Hakuryuu is the editor.
Alibaba originally got discovered through his excellent Adventures of Sinbad fan fiction, and Hakuryuu is there to “help him transition from fan fiction writing to original writing”.
“You do realize that I know how to write, right?” “I wouldn’t be here otherwise, Alibaba.”
After tense beginnings, they eventually get comfortable with each other, and they also grow fond of each other.
Hakuryuu helps Alibaba with his world-building and time management, and Alibaba helps Hakuryuu with editing his other projects from time to time… Alibaba’s character work is excellent, after all.
Alibaba’s novels are eventually published to rave reviews, and Hakuryuu is saddened at the prospect of having to let him go… at which point Alibaba immediately asks him out on a date and all is well.

    “You should know as the assistant to the princess, my role is important. Should I slack in my duties, I will be met with unfavorable circumstances, that I do not wish to go through. I don’t even see how I would be deemed as entertaining to you anyway. I don’t indulge in what you do for fun, it is not something I partake in. Rather I do things regular adults do in their spare time.”
   The assistant eyes narrowed ever so slightly at the unsightly display of rudeness he was given. Had he been an ordinary man he would surely push the hand from his field of vision. But as Judar loved riling up people, he tried his best to keep his composure against the uncouth male. Sighing, he removed his vessel from his chin and crossed his arms.
     “You clearly don’t know how life works, but okay. You grown over the year, yet you still act like a child that demands company and attention. And you do know, should anything happen to my household vessel, we would have a much harder time healing our comrades, that suffers severe injuries in battle. And should I remind you who was the one who healed you, oh so long ago, in Balbadd with said vessel?”

Survey for Queen of Sindria
Princess of Balbadd has been completed and now I can look ahead to the sequel I've been planning! Originally Sinbad was going to continue to be a womanizer and that be something reader struggles with. As a result reader would get to choose their own beau for the story. But now that PoB has played out, after all the nuances, only Ja’far, Masrur, and Sharrkan are single. So I might AU off that along with altering things so Reader can have their pick of generals.
I can only have the polls one per post and up to a week in duration, so here is a list of the different things I'm considering. My ask box is open and anon is available if you want to answer them all at once or the time frame has expired, feel free to shoot a message!

Her wariness is understandable, but no less painful to witness. Still, he smiles, because it's her.
"You're Kougyoku, right? I mean, Princess Ren Kougyoku, the one who's going to…" 
She smiles, sweet and fake in equal measure.
"This princess is here to marry the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Balbadd." Her voice is beautiful but distant, and his heart clenches, because he understands too much of the feelings that lie underneath it. "And you are the third prince, Alibaba Saluja-dono?"
'Please, don't say my name like this. Don't hide your face behind sleeves. Not in front of me. Never in front of me,' he wants to say, but...
"Yes," he says instead.
Her face was never meant to be so devoid of emotions, it pains him in a way no sword nor scythe cuts could compare. How could he stand to look at half of his soul through stone veil?
"Would it be too much to ask himegimi for permission to use her name?" He still dares, because once upon never a little boy, his best friend, his accomplice in misery, told him he was brave, and he'll be damned if he were to disappoint him ever again. "This one would be honored if she agreed to call him by his given name as well."
There are questions peeking through her mask. Curiosity and volatile hope buried underneath imperial teachings and deep-rooted insecurities, he knows of them both personally and from the outside. 
He still wishes she didn’t.
“I am… unsure if that would be appropriate for us…” she says, and, oh, he knows it like he knows her, because he can hear her traitorous longing for connection, one that his own could never truly compare.
He would give her everything if only he had anything.
"You're the eight imperial princess, a lowborn… your… your mother was a prostitute" He knows her lips turn into a single line behind the silks, he knows her thoughts are but a train of curses for her blood is what always comes back to haunt her, no matter the place nor time. How he wishes it wasn’t something they had in common, so the cruelty of the noble world could never reach her. "You… we're the same…!" How grateful he is, it's exactly what they have in common, because he knows how to reach her himself.
Her eyes widen, lifelessness slowly disappearing as the understanding dawns on her, hope and disbelief taking its place.
"I am a lowborn, too…! I, my mother was a prostitute, too, so… So I wanted you to know that... That you're not alone here! You can come to me if you need anything…!” He lowers his voice, because while his heart can’t comprehend anything beyond her, his mind understands there’s still a whole world outside. “If you face any difficulties, if people mistreat you, if you need help with anything or if you simply want someone to talk to… I'll do everything in my power to be there for you, you just need to find me." 
Her eyes rival stars, and tears escape from them, through the cracks in her mask, through pinkish cheeks right on the trembling chin, and Alibaba swallows both relief and guilt. He forces his hands to remain by his side, as they want to wipe her face away. 
Her tears are always too much to bear.
"W-why…" Kougyoku — the empress who regained her empire, the king who broke the chains of enforced destiny, the woman who stayed with him till the very end as the vessels around them emptied, the last one to go — stutters.
That's all it takes for his instincts to win, and he crosses the distance between them in a flash, not fully aware how for the first time in years his hyperfocus activates on its own. The hands no longer hidden under the sleeves are warm in touch, trembling. Maybe his own are putting them in that motion.
"You're so strong and kind. You're amazing." The Eight Princess, the Fifth Empress, the second last King. The love of his life. "I want to be there for you… as long as you want me to." Because they've only just met, even if he'd known her for years. They've only just met. "So, from now on... let's be friends, Kougyoku…?"

However, as they train for competition, they find their fierce rivalry developing into something much deeper.

Summary: In the wake of loss, Ja’far finds himself incapable of moving on in his life. Drakon, concerned by his lack of self care, relieves him of his work and insists he travel. Upon heading to the only land untouched by his former fiancé’s legacy, however, Jafar learns he can’t truly outrun his despair. Mistania, instead of a new start, brings him a stranger with the exact face and voice of a man he once thought dead. Now, set into the turmoil following a revolution, he’s on the run with an amnesiac, a dog, and refugee princess. What has his life become... FIC 007 Ships: Gyokuen/Hakutoku Characters: Gyokuen, Arba, Hakutoku Rating: M Warnings: No Major Archive Warnings Apply Additional Warnings: Some sexual content, unsure of how explicit it will be Summary: Growing up as an orphan, Gyokuen wanted nothing more than to have a family of her own. But being a person who regularly starts fights, it was unlikely for her to get married. That is, until a traveller named 'Toku' expressed interest after she beat him in a fight. FIC 010 Ships: no ships expected, potential for otome game style harem teases Characters: Kassim, Kouen, Koumei, Kouha, Hakuryuu Rating: T Warnings: No major archive warnings apply Additional Warnings: fluff, angst, hurt/comfort Summary: Kassim lives and stays in Balbadd as it's reformed by the Kou Empire, which has moved in as canon. He approaches the princes to change Balbadd back and ends up working with them (begrudgingly) to aid Balbadd's integration. This allows him to interact with them, his own people, and help work out the hidden scars of the royal family. Now that he's finally talked to his own family, he doesn't want to see the one in charge of his home destroy themselves and everything around them.
FIC 011 Ships: Gen, maybe some ship tease for Ja'far/Masrur, Ja'far/Drakon, and obviously, Ja'far/Judar. I suppose there could also be hints of Ja'far/Sinbad, due to some reminiscing about the past--however, I want the artist to know that I am trying to write Ja'far as a person who is learning to become more independent and self-motivated, rather than motivating himself with Sinbad's goals and pining constantly for Sinbad's return. Characters: Ja'far, Judar, and supporting/somewhat major roles from every ex-general of Sindria. Any other characters would have brief appearances. Rating: T Warnings: Graphic Violence (canon-typical) Additional Warnings: Canon-typical violence Summary: The world has changed and there's work to be done. With the shifted landscape, changes in leadership, and the departure of a certain king, there's a never-ending stream of challenges to be overcome. Oh, and the brat magi of Kou has up and vanished without a word of warning. Well, Ja'far is sure they can do without. Like with all cockroaches, he's a pest that always turns up eventually. And besides--he's far more concerned about the black cat he stumbled upon in the gardens, found wounded and mewling in hunger. Sure, its personality is a bit aggressive, and it claws him every time he tries to pet it, but that's only natural for such a frail, scared little animal, likely separated and lost from its mother. And he's always had a soft spot for cats, as Drakon would say… The first chapter will be from Ja'far's perspective and the rest is Judar begrudgingly witnessing the events through his cat body and getting used to his short bout as a cat. Basically, this fic will explore the changed/re-emerging relationships between Ja'far and the other ex-generals after the end of the final arc, and will attempt to explain how Judar and Ja'far--two polar opposites that fell in hate at first sight some years ago--reach a mutual understanding and tolerance of one another in this new world. I definitely do see this as a multi-chapter fic that will stretch beyond 10k words and the required scope of Big Bang!

Even now with his new siblings, he still struggles to find a place among them. With meeting Alibaba and the other he felt as if he had finally gain a place where he can be himself but again he stuggled to find himself accepting the hand he was dealt and goes off with Judar.

Summary: modern au. deals with aladdin, after the cult al thamen is disbanded, and the only life he's ever known getting thrown on its head.

A Facade of Love [Yandere! Hakuryuu Ren] [Reader-Insert]
With grey clouds overcasting the premises of the Kou empire, the sky was a blanket of inky black. The dark night was starless, which meant that the only subject visible to the naked eye in the pitch-black sky, was the brilliant and lustrous moon. It was suspended at the peak of the night sky, radiating it’s glorious light on the earth beneath it. The castle of Kou empire stood tall and proud, as it supported countless of rooms, and sheltered the ones who carried the royal blood, those who were associated with the said royal bloods’, and those who would soon become part of the royal family, whether they wanted to or not. On one of the top floors of the castle, in the room where the moonlight would peek through at the perfect angle, resided a soon-to-be princess. It was evident that this room belonged to one of the prince/princesses’ of the empire because the room was integrated to sophistication as it was painted with rich colours and decorated with fine antiques.
 In the middle of the room, there was a king sized bed. Silver chains were wrapped around the bedpost, binding [Name] [Surname], the soon-to-be bride of Hakuryuu Ren, to the bed. The moonlight which peeked through the window and shone on [Name]’s rigid form, caused the silver chains, and the jewels she was dressed in, to glisten.
 The [h/c] female was half-lying against the bedpost, and she wore a lifeless and grim expression on her face. Her [e/c] eyes which were once filled with bliss, innocent wonder, and beaming buoyancy were voided off any life. It was as if the struggles of existence had become so unbearable that it left behind a shell which held nothing; she was blank.
 [Name] was existing and breathing but she was not living.
 Despite her dead-self, [Name] was an absolutely stunning sight to behold. Due to customs of the Kou Empire[1], and her long confinement, [Name] had luxurious, long, and soft hair that fell on her just a bit past her knees; and was spread around her chained form on the bed. Half of her hair was done up in a sophisticated style consisting of braids. Gold jewels and various other expensive hair ornaments decorated her hair. [Name] wore a sleeveless, long, and flowy white dress with a small golden belt wrapped around her waist. Two red veils, each attached at the each arm hole of the dress, went over her arms. The neckline of the dress was a deep cut, revealing her cleavage. Lastly, there were long slits on each side of the dress which went up to her thigh, excessively exposing her legs.
 Like she usually did, [Name] sat still, staring at nothing in particular. She remained motionless like an inanimate doll, simply blinking occasionally.
 It was unknown how much time had passed; but after what felt like an eternity, the door to her isolated abode was finally opened.
 The visitor to her bleak world, the only visitor allowed to see her, was the fourth emperor of Kou Empire, Hakuryuu Ren. The sound of the door opening caused [Name] to turn her head towards Hakuryuu. And when dead [e/c] eyes met sea blue eyes, Hakuryuu’s face lit up in joy.
 With a loving grin on his face, he almost strode towards her. However, as an emperor with a pride, he held himself back. For how long he was going to be able to do that, was unknown.
 “Hello my love,” Hakuryuu greeted, smiling and sitting on the bed. To his greeting, [Name] merely stared at him, empty of any emotions, expressions and words. Her eyes were blank, and the most reaction that Hakuryuu received from her was the movements of her lips pressing in a thin line.
 At her lack of response, Hakuryuu sighed. Then, as if the exhaustion from the entire day had kicked in right then and there, with another deep sigh, Hakuryuu fell back on the bed and into [Name]’s lap.
 She did not respond.
 Hakuryuu turned in her lap so he was lying on his side, and tilted his head upwards so he could stare at [Name]. As he gazed into her barren eyes, Hakuryuu frowned.
 “I had a really difficult day today, you know,” He began murmuring, as he started  to trace circles on the exposed skin of her thighs with his index finger.
 “And I was hoping that you would welcome me with open arms and shining eyes, and your brilliant smile that just makes me melt. We could sit under the moonlight like this, brush each other’s hair and drink the new imported jasmine tea from Balbadd. I drank it during a meeting today, and it was delightful. I am certain you would love it,” Hakuryuu said, smiling at her.
 [Name]’s finger twitched as she narrowed her eyes at Hakuryuu, who in her eyes, continued to blabber utter nonsense. His soft feathery touches sent shivers through her spine, a feeling of forced pleasure she had learned to ignore. However, his venomous touch that she had come to loathe, and his non-stop jabbing dialogues were rubbing on her the wrong way. After what seemed to be months of being emotionless and killing herself to become unresponsive, [Name] felt a flicker of small flame etched with anger light up within her.
 “Well, I’m sorry I can’t cater to your god damn childish needs like a mother or share any non consensual intimacy with you because you had me chained up!” [Name] hissed, as she tried to lift up her knee to shove Hakuryuu off of her. However, as soon as her knee has even twitched, Hakuryuu had sat up, and gripped her knees with his hands to cease any movements. He gripped them tightly, inflicting pain on [Name]. As result, she hissed, and tried to get her legs away from Hakuryuu, but her efforts were fruitless, and her pain only increased.
 “While I am enthralled to hear your beautiful voice again,” Hakuryuu began, as he moved on top of her, and then gently grabbed her chin.
 “I do not appreciate the tone you speak to me in. I am an Emperor, and out of everyone, as my beloved, you of all people, need to regard me with the respect I deserve,” He stated, gazing in her eyes seriously, as he rubbed his thumb against her cheek.
 [Name] scoffed.
 “A title does not mean anything if you cannot live up to it. Respect is given to those who earn it. As your beloved, I should be treated the best. Not locked up in one room for the rest of my life, simply because you are so disgustingly insecure that you do not even trust me enough to interact with anyone but you. In order to receive respect from someone, you must return it. And until you can do that, you will not receive any respect from me,” [Name] stated blankly.
 [Name] received no response from Hakuryuu. He simply stared at her as if he was contemplating deeply about what she said. However, knowing from experience that realistically, he was always too stubborn and did as  he pleased; he was definitely not thinking about [Name]’s words which challenged his ownership over her. After all, his silence was never a good sign. Subsequently, a bubble of regret began to form in the pit of [Name]’s stomach; and she knew, that because she blatantly spoke out turn, whatever ‘punishment’ that was written in her fate, was going to be terribly atrocious.
 “You're the feisty one,” [2] Hakuryuu began with a smirk, as he continued to brush his thumb against [Name].
 She inwardly cringed at his touch.
 “I almost miss your rebellious nature, but not when it is acting up against me,” He continued, as he trailed his other hand down [Name]’s thigh, and began to caress it, sending shivers down her spine.
 [Name]’s eyes widened in fear, and instantly, she started to thrash around in her chains in an attempt to get away from Hakuryuu. But like all cliche moments in yandere stories, the author being very unoriginal,  and not being able to write a different scenario, [Name]’s efforts were fruitless due to Hakuryuu’s strong grip on her.
 “I was really trying to be gentle with you, but you seem to not want it that way. You have left me with no choice but to tame you with force now,” Hakuryuu whispered dangerously, before forcing his lips on [Name].
