You know what let Sirius love his baby brother no matter what and it still not being enough because they are on different sides of a war. Let them be good siblings to each other. fic idea: Sirius did manage to get snape killed while using Moony. James was too late. Sirius calls a favor from his little brother. Basically Regulus helps the Marauders hide a body. The whole story becomes one of those "I know what you did last summer." And "pretty little liars" type situations. Mixed with Jegulus and Wolfstar. Oddly enough no one really misses snape. This horrible incident bonds Regulus and his friends with the Marauders. Meanwhile Lily and her friends are trying to solve the mystery of what happened to her (sorta) friend. I mean its not like a student didn't get away with murder before(as whispered in the slytherin common room)
