#Princess Peach x Mario

SO imagine with me

 It’s a racing competition, and everyone has their teammates

Bowser has King boo

Mario and Luigi (obviously)

And surprisingly donkey, Kong and peach

(plus any other pairs you can come up with)

So far in the race, everything was smooth sailing, except for the fact that Mario and Luigi’s kart have been making funky noises

They would’ve done something if it wasn’t for the fact that it only started making funky noises about halfway through the races and getting off of your cart in the middle of a race where everyone is going over 100 mph isn’t exactly the smartest idea

Unlikely for them, they didn’t have much of a choice as their cart quite literally fell apart on them as a certain other mustached pair pass by them laughing hysterically at them (Wario and Waluigi)

Luckily, for them, their friend/partner (all depends on whether you ship it or not) saw the whole thing

Bowser and king boo drive over to the brothers at the same time as peach and DK do

In a somewhat sort of silent agreement between the pair that still have working cars, they scoop up their respective Brother and start to drive off

Luigi squeaking in surprise from suddenly being picked up by Bowser

 And Mario letting out his own noise and surprise, as DK grabbed on to him

Mario and Luigi both find out that neither of their new team mates plan on winning the race and instead plan on making sure that Wario and Waluigi don’t win

Fire-Flower Field

“There’s a huge universe out there, with a lot of galaxies.” Peach turned to look out at the stars and fire flower field. Mario turned with her. He didn’t know what to add to that. So, he rocked on his heels and admired the scenery. Toad had been playing the flute and it added to the moment. In the back of Mario’s mind, he wondered if the song was a love song from the toad people.

He hoped his silence didn’t weird the princess out. He blushed and cleared his throat. “Sooo… uh how do you use these flowers.” He bent over to touch the flower like the princess had.

“WAIT!” Mario jumped back at her outburst. He looked at her wide eyed. Her face was wide eyed as well. “You’ll burn!”

“But, but, but.” He bumbled.

“I know but I have eaten the stem before.” Mario looked at her confused. She bent down and blew out a fire flower then picked it. “Once you eat the stem your body will be able to handle the power that comes from the flower.”  She pulled the head off of the flower and handed Mario the stem. He looked up at her unsure. Then back at the stem. Then he looked at Toad who gave him a quick nod. He looked back at the stem.

He gave a sigh and grumbled. Peach looked at him expectantly. He opened his mouth and lightly put the stem in and bit down.

His mouth exploded with stinging. His eyes started to water. “AH!” He spit the greenery out. Peach and Toad burst into laughter. Peach doubled over and toad slapped his knee.  “Ahhhh!” His mouth was burning! He stuck out his tongue and tried to fan it off.

Peach gave Toad a high-five. “Aha! She got chu man!”

 Mario could hardly pay attention to their ribbing; he danced around trying to cool off his mouth.

Peach pushed Toad to go ahead and help the poor man. Toad dug around in his pack and got out a jar of white liquid and offered it to Mario. Mario in turn backed away from the little mushroom man shaking his head and hands.

“It’s just milk man! It will help the spice.” The toad held up the jar again.

 Mario reached for the jar only to stop halfway. “MILK FROM WHAT ANIMAL!”  He jerked his hand away.

Toad and Peach exchanged looks. “A moomoo.” They said at the same time.

Mario looked even more distressed. “What’s a moomoo? You mean a cow?!?”

The two Mushroom Kingdom residents looked at each other confused. “What’s a cow?” Toad asked.

Peach came in to explain. “A moomoo is a big round black and white animal that eats grass and produces milk for its young. A moomoo.” She flipped her hands around as if it was obvious.

Mario swiped the jar out of Toads hands. “Ya well, we call those cows were I’m from!” He got the lid off and chugged the milk. He immediately felt better. His mouth would sting every once in awhile, but it was bearable.

Toad hopped up to Mario. “She got you good! Fire flower stems are the spiciest thing in the world! It’s a delicacy in some places!”

Mario looked at him incredulously. “People eat that willingly?!”

“Yeah! Yeah! You know that desert place we got some supplies at? The one with the upside-down pyramid? The first time I was there they showed me how to make fire flower stems into a sauce!”

That made sense to Mario, it was like hot peppers. And that place reminded him of old pictures of Mexico from his history textbooks. Except for the pyramids. This place was just a mash up of everything.

“It’s a really interesting process actually….” Toad continued to ramble on.

Peach slid up to Mario. She chuckled and nudged him. “Sorry, I just had to.”

Mario wiped the sweat off his face. “You better watch your back princess! If you ever come to Brooklyn, I might have to get you back!” He chuckled goodheartedly.

Peach gently grabbed his wrist. “I’ll be sure to never eat anything you hand me.” She softly pulled him toward the nearest fire flower.

Mario let himself be guided by the princess. “Aww… no, you gotta to eat the food there! It’s some of the best in the world!”

Peach held his hand close to the head of the fire flower. The magic caught hold of his hand and quickly dispersed though his body. He looked down at his now red overalls and white shirt. he twisted in front of the princess. “Not bad, eh?” He held his hand out flat and a fire ball appeared. He stared at it in wonder and made it dance around his hand. “We may have good food in Brooklyn, but it is nothing compared to the magic youse got here!” Mario threw the ball of fire but didn’t pay attention to where he was throwing it.

Toad jumped up and out of the way just in time. “HEY! WATCH IT!” Mario gave an apologetic smile and Peach laughed.

After their meal that was cooked up by Toad, they all laid down on the grass to sleep for the night. The fire flower power kept him warm even though there was a slight chill in the air. Mario laid on his back looking up at the tree leaves against the sky. He could feel a pair of eyes on him. He twisted and saw Toad staring at him laying on his belly, face in his hand, and feet lackadaisically swinging in the air.

“Soooooo……” the enthusiastic mushroom started. “Do you like her?” He shifted his eyes between the princess and the plumber.

Mario panicked and looked at the princess’ back that was turned to him. “She’s asleep dude.”  Mario gave him a look and hand gesture that said, ‘how can you tell?’

Toad ignored the look. “Do you like her?” he asked again.

Mario squinted his eyes at the little man for a minute then answered. “She’s nice…. A little crazy but this whole place has been crazy!”

Toad waved his hands “Yeah Yeah Yeah everyone says she is nice…” he adopted a suave tone “But do you like like her?”

“What do you mean? Like a crush?”

Toad could hardly contain himself. “YEAh Man!!!”

Mario shushed the exuberant toad for fear the subject of their conversation would wake up. Toad quickly put a hand over his own mouth. But raised his eyebrows at Mario asking him to answer.

“I just met her.”

“So!?!”

“So, I would need to get to know her more. There are steps to these things. Haven’t you ever had a crush on someone?”

Toads face got serious. “I have dedicated my whole life to the journey of discovering new and exciting foods.”

“Right right you were a chef at a…uh family-owned café” he rotated his hands as he recalled what Toad had told them earlier in the trip. “And now a ‘world traveling food adventurer.’” Mario put in air quotes. “Whatever that is…” he added quietly. “So, you’ve never had a crush?”

“Nope. never. That’s why I gotta know from my best friend what is it like?”

Mario vaguely gestured his hands around as if that would explain it. Toad gave him a disappointed look. “Look I don’t know how to explain it!” He crossed his arms and turned back to the leaves.

“Have you ever had a girlfriend?” Toad blurted out accusatorially.

Mario flipped over and pointed a finger at Toad. “Yes! I’ve had a girlfriend! She was the student body president in high school and 3 years older than me.” He said defensively.

Toad loved where this was going. “Oh oh oh! What was her name?”

“Pauline.” Mario grumbled.

“What happened?”

“She went off to collage and eventually became the mayor.”

“WHAT no way!?” Toad exclaimed.

Mario shushed Toad again but then continued. “Yep.”

“Have you had a girlfriend ever since?”

Mario frowned and waved the question off. “Nah, got too busy.”

“Oh? with plumbing?”

“No. Me and Luigi had many different jobs before we were plumbers. Delivery boys, we were even dog walker there for a moment, waiters for a small local Italian restaurant, we were janitors at a boxing ring, we worked at a cement factory once, we tried to be mail men but that didn’t work out, we worked at a bottling plant once but broke too many glass bottles, we built cabinetry, our last job was construction workers and then we said ‘You know what? We are sick of working for others, let’s work for ourselves!’ that is when we became plumbers.” Mario heard a soft sound. He looked up and saw that Toad had fallen asleep and was now curled up in a ball.

Mario smiled, now he could sleep without being pestered. He laid back on his back getting ready to sleep when he heard. “What is high school?” Mario sat up quickly to see Peach had turned toward him.

His cheeks burned red and not from the fire flower power. “Eheheh….. how much of that conversation did you hear?”

“All of it, I wasn’t asleep.” She stated simply. Mario wanted to crawl in a hole. “I know what school is but is high school a special thing or what?” Peach was either unfazed by the crush talk or was blatantly ignoring it in order to get her question answered.

Mario took a deep breath. He decided he would also ignore the fact that Toad thought he had a crush on the princess. “So high school is just school that you go to when you turn 14…” he begun to explain.

💤sleepy Mario brothers 💤

Here’s an idea to add to your head cannons fan fictions or drawings both Mario and Luigi when left alone for too long will fall asleep just straight up knock the fuck out snoring and everything’s you will see literal Z’s flying out of their heads

I just want more of Mario and Luigi being described as one moment they’re awake the next sleeping soundly with nothing but their snoring to let the person nearby know that they’ve fallen asleep

just imagine princess peach trying to put Mario and Luigi in a guard post while she does some Royal business and when she walks out she just sees them both knocked out (lesson learned they need to be doing some thing or else they will sleep)

Imagine Bowser trying to pull Luigi away from whatever technical project that he’s working on Luigis trying to tell Bowser for probably the hundredth time that he’s almost done and he just needs like a half an hour more although that’s like the fifth time he’s said it and it’s already past midnight so cut to a Bowser picking him up laying him down on bed and telling him that if he can count to 10 without falling asleep than he can stay up for as long as he likes and Luigi each and every single time will try his best but then falls asleep before he even gets to five

This is not to say that they fall asleep every single time they are left alone standing still for too long, but it sure as hell happened enough time in where they are both given fidget toys to help

Inspired of of Hisy-fit's post about these two (link at the end of the post) and a few of these interactions where Hisy-fit's ideas

So from the post itself we can see Peach is a lightweight

So I have a feeling that if peach is going to be drunk, Bowser is definitely going to join her. He’s going to be like “hey you wait until I catch up Princess"

But with his sheer body mass and regular champagne, the man would have to down like 20- 30 bottles if we are also contributeing to the fact he isn't human

Luigi and Mario ( Luigi and Mario are both married the respective drunk parties in this) trying to find out where did all the champagne bottles go walks into the dining hall that’s inside the mushroom kingdom to just find both peach and Bowser in us swimming pool of empty champagne bottles

Bowser: Look *hick* loooook Peach! Peach. Peeeaaachhh! Looook I'm floating in a sea of champagne!

Peach: that's *hick* nothing.. watch this! *gets up to dive but just faceplants on the floor*

Bowser: no waaaayy.. that's awesome! *does the same*

Peach: I'm going to steal Toads- tooadsswor- toadsworth? Yeah, toastworths glasses! and see if I can get Donkey to wear theeeem~! hehe

Bowser: I'll- I'll hold him down if he- if he doesn't coop- corp- .... c o o p e r a t e....Work with us!

Bowser’s: you think I could- you think I could get a kiss if I flirt with that guy (vaguely points at Luigi)

Peach: not as fast as I can- I can get a kiss from him(vaguely points at Mario)

Bowser: your..on Missy!!!

Just imagine poor Mario and Luigi just suffering because their spouses are flirting with them and being stupid but it’s also totally working and the only reason why they haven’t kissed the other yet is because they reek of alcohol, Mario relents bad gives Peach a quick kiss, before he can pull away however she pulls him in for a deeper kiss, after a minute she let's go and screams at Bowser

Peach: SEE! I kissed the handsome man before you~! "*in a very teasing kid like manner*

Bowser: Nuh uh! I saw you keep him there!!

Peach: still counts ya big scaly sore looser *sticks out young at him*

Bowser: now that is juussst rude.

For some reason, bowser and peach wake up in matching PJs (that reason being that they forced the seamstress to do so since there a team and they should match) and in the same bed because they wanted a slumber party

Luigi and Mario are making breakfast and there’s like a glass of water and migraine pills

Both peach and Bowser look ashamed because they ask the question “ what happened last night? everything kind of gets fuzzy after diving into the floor”

There is definitely not a video of them singing karaoke together that Toad took

Bowser’s singing the soft parts that have the vocalizations while peach surprisingly is doing the rap

She has the rap part of the certain song memorized to heart an it's hilarious in this form

At some point Bowser and peach sing a song that’s like for Mario and Luigi and the camera pans over to the two brothers blushing as well as tomatoes

I can imagine Bowser serenading Luigi with his immaculate singing voice he knows Luigi likes his voice when he's singing the deep parts of the song

Luigi starts giggling like a schoolgirl, while Mario’s over here teasing him

Peach: Looks like you've got a fan

Bowser: I know, I’m so going to ask him out.

Peach: aren’t you too married? *points to the wedding ring he’s wearing then to Luigi who is wearing a matching one*

Bowser: oh. My. Glob. You’re right! I’m the luckiest man in the world! I mean look at him!

Peach: I wish I was married, (proceeds to look at the wrong hand which has no ring)

Bowser’s pointing at Mario’s hand: Well it seems your crush is

Peach: NOOO *runs to Mario to grab his shoulders* YOU’RE MARRIED??? 🥺

Mario, trying to hold back, is laughter: yes? To you *he takes Peach's hand in his own, and with his free hand, pointed out the ring on her finger*

Peach: :O :D

Bowser’s in the background: mine is still better

Toad showed them the video while they where recovering, Both Peach and Bowser feel super embarrassed watching the video back. Before Toad leaves he makes sure to say

Toad: oh yeah and Peach, you asked Mario to marry you again

Peach: aw, well I guess that is very sweet

Bowser: what about me? Did I say something totally romantic? I mean I must have Green is keeps blushing every time he sees me

Toad: well... It was romantic in that sort of sense.. He sort of asked him if you guys wanted.. to.. Make babies..?

Bowser and Peach in stunned silence

Bowser: and what.. Did he say..?" under his breath he's promising himself to make it up to Luigi for that

Toad: I don't know, you'll have to ask him, he just sort of whispered in your ear and went back to talking with Mario, but whatever it was left you a blushing mess

Toad halfway out of the door: oh yeah, and your kids videod a lit of your shenanigans as well, don't worry, thankfully all the flirting stuff was done the karaoke parlor, which they weren't allowed into because of their last stunt they pulled in there

And with that Toad leaves the room

This absolutely kills Bowser as he wants to know what Luigi said, an Peach is very curious, so when Luigi comes in with some more water for them, Bowser asks Luigi, he whispers it to him an then leaves the room.

Peach turns to Bowser who has turned as red as he did last night

Peach: well?! What did he say??

Bowser: well let's just say that even though we can't actually make more kids, he wouldn't mind taking me up on the offer now that I've sobred up.

Peach: oh. My. Glob! That is amazing, hahahaha. You know we really need to hang out more like this, I'd love to share my juicy secerets if you share yours.

Bowser: I'd like that, but perhaps no alcohol next time..

Half an hour later the koopalings burst into the room "Dad! Aunty Peach! We've got something to show you!" They all then giggled as Iggy began to play a video he had taken with his phone

In the video you could hear Iggy talking to Mario who was out of shot

Iggy: pfft, you okay there uncle Mario? Looks like you've got a little something on your face

The camera then pans to Luigi, scrubbing at Mario's face with a washcloth trying to get something off of his face, with a closer look with the camera his face is covered in kisses left from Peach, you could tell it was her because of the signature pink colour

Mario: haha, don't get cheeky you little scamp

The video then ends. Leaving Peach as red as Bowser was before. Bowser let out a big harty laugh while wrapping an arm around her

Bowser: looks like I'm not the only one that was daring with my husband last night

Peach: hush..

They First Met

Mario and Luigi had found a golf book in Peach’s library. They were never rich enough to play golf for themselves on Earth. It would be fun to try it out themselves and introduce the sport to this new world. They had given some Moles money and helped to design a course in a grassy field far behind Peach’s castle.  Mario had just returned from saving Daisy from Tatanga. Daisy was feeling overwhelmed assessing the damage in her empire. Peach had invited her over to learn the new sport which Daisy jumped at the opportunity.  Mario won the rock, paper, scissor game he went first. Of course, Peach opted to be with Mario, which left Luigi and Daisy.

“D-do you w-want me to explain how it all works or just watch or….” Luigi stuttered.

He didn’t look like he was good at talking so she chose the latter. Luigi muttered to himself the book instructions as he got himself set up. He took some practice swings and readjusted his grip. Daisy stood a way back. She was there to learn and get her mind off what awaited her back home. She saw how he was so focused, how he rotated his shoulders and hips with the swings. He pursed his lips and his eyebrows scrunched. After he felt he was prepared he shuffled up to the tee with the ball on it. The ball was blue with white stars just like his sweater he was wearing. THWACK! The ball whistled through the air. Daisy had been quietly observing but couldn’t help herself from commenting. “WOAH!” she jogged up to Luigi. He was looking intently at his shot. His mouth turned down. “Why the sour face? You smacked that ball sooo far!!!”

Luigi lapsed back into his awkward state. He dug the toe of his boots in the grass. “I F-forgot to think about the wind….”

“Oh,” She looked out at the flag it was blowing to the right. “Here let me try.”  She dug into the golf bag and found a plain white ball. She copied what Luigi had done, she tested out a few practice swings. Then shuffled up to the ball. THWACK! Her ball had landed left of Luigi’s and closer to the hole. She turned to beam at Luigi. His mouth was open in shock. She sashayed back to him.

“H-How…?”

She put a hand on his shoulder. “You’re a really good teacher.” I

He blushed at the compliment but didn’t agree. They continued on playing. Daisy was good at the long shots but getting closer and reining in her power was harder. Luigi was good at all of the game, but his lack of confidence hindered him. Mario was a good aim but putting got on his nerves. Peach was having a hard time getting the ball far at the start. In the end Mario won but by a sliver, Luigi came in second, Daisy was third and Peach graciously lost.

They walked on the dirt road back to Peach’s castle. The Boys carried the golf bags talking animatedly in Italian. Daisy and Peach watched them trying to figure out what they were talking about.

The boy stopped suddenly and dropped the bags. Luigi glared at a mischievous Mario.

Luigi flicked his brother’s nose. Mario reached up and batted Luigi’s hat over his eyes. He brushed the hat back up and went to flick his brother’s ear. His hand was caught and held away. No mater Luigi had another hand. This one was captured as well. Fine. Luigi gripped his brother’s wrists and dropped to the ground taking his brother with him.

They ended up trying to bat their hands away from each other and trying to smush each other’s faces in the dirt.

Peach brought her hands to her mouth confused at the fight. Daisy cheered them on. “Whhhhoooo!” She started to chant “Go go go!”

A yellow toad was walking along the road stopped to see what was going on. Daisy tried to get Peach to join her but noticed the distraught look on her friend’s face. “Aaaauuuugggh, Fine.” Daisy lifted the yellow toad up to her face. “I need you to break this up.” She tossed the toad at the two. The toad hit Luigi who was currently on top shoving his brothers face into the dirt. Luigi lost his balance with the toad’s weight. Mario hopped up quickly, Luigi followed. They locked their hands and tried to twist each other off balance. The toad walked up in between the brothers, he jumped up and grabbed their shirt collars. The two brothers where launched forward smacking each other’s foreheads.

“Owie….” They sat on the ground rubbing their heads.

The Toad raised his hands in triumph. “Haha ha!”

“The winner!” Daisy declared joyfully.

The brothers looked at each other, then at the toad. The toad sensing the shift, frowned and dropped his arms. “Uh oh!” He ran.

The boys gave chase, Luigi with his long legs caught up first. He snatched the toad off the ground. Mario caught up and started to tickle/punish the toad.

Giggles rang out. The toad pleaded for mercy. Daisy laughed at the shenanigans.

Peach stomped up to Mario, with a playful smile. She dramatically pushed Mario off. Mario returned the action by slowly falling to the ground. “I’ll save you!” Peach declared as she lifted the toad out of Luigi’s grasp. She set the toad on the ground and patted his head. “Good job at getting them to stop fighting.” She whispered to the toad. Daisy took a coin and flipped it to the toad with a wink. Satisfied with his job the toad jauntily walked off with his new coin.

Luigi helped Mario up off the dirt. Daisy skipped over to them. “What were you guys fighting about!?”

Luigi looked down to hide his angry face and kicked at the dirt.

“Oh, I was just telling Luigi here,” Mario finished dusting his pants off to sling his arm around his brother’s shoulders. Luigi gave him a side eye. “That he could have won the game….” Mario grinned at Luigi’s annoyed face and quickly added. “If-a-certain-princess-wasn’t-around-to-distract-him.”

Luigi shoved Mario hard away from him. “Cretino!” Mario just giggled.

Daisy smirked then shifted to serious face. “Mario! Did you set up your brother to lose!” She pointed an accusatory finger at his big nose.

Mario stopped giggling and raised his hands in surrender. “N-now, Princ- “

She cut him off, “You paired me up with Luigi so he would be nervous trying to teach a new person he doesn’t know!” Daisy pressed him farther.

Mario started to back away from Daisy. “Princess,” he tried to defend.

“You cheated!” This time she did poke Mario in the nose.

Mario was so flabbergasted at being accused of cheating he started to bumble sounds out.

Luigi snickered at his brother’s misfortune.

Peach laid a hand on Daisy’s arm lowering it from Mario’s face. Daisy glanced at her waiting what the regal pink princess would say. “I must confess, Mario did tell me he knew is brother would be nervous.” Peach smiled at Daisy.

Daisy grinned wide. “SEE! CHEATER!” She threw another point at Mario. “C’mon Peach let’s leave Mario to stew in his guilt.” She hooked her arm with Peach, and they giggled while walking away.

Luigi still snickering joined his brother. Mario narrowed his eyes in confusion. “Che? How is it that I win but also lose?”

Author's Notes: Luigi and Daisy first met in the game NES Open Tournament Golf. I want the girls to be more than caddies. I don't like the other human characters. This is my write around, AU/headcannon. The scene of the brothers fighting has been in my head for months. My brothers would have brotherly wrestling matches all the time.
