Elise III Redesign!

The main focus was on Sonic-ifying her, while the secondary was making a design more reflective of her role in the game. Below are the references I used (wanted to bring in some more Italian/European inspirations).

The biggest flags for the Sonic Style are big hands, feet, eyes, and then round everything. I gave Teen!Elise the Rouge-treatment when it came to her hands, but I think Child!Elise succeeded more in reflecting the style.

I also tried to incorporate more subtle hints to Solaris, particularly with the the dress and sleeves(?) plus Teen!Elise's eyelashes having four wings. The eye and scars are supposed to be a more obvious hint to the player that something lurks within the Princess ("the eyes are the window to the soul" and all that, but with Iblis only being half of a god, it's only one eye that's changed.) The glow on the pupil is my own artistic style, as I imagine a more canon-friendly design would just have a normal green eye with only the tear burns being the hint toward something stranger.

made a design of assistant elise based off of an idea i had for if the sonic movies brought silver and blaze into the universe. blah blah blah time travel. princess Elise is no longer sonics love interest but now Stone's teenage assistant just to break her off from the final fantasy look and more of a sciencey parallel to Robotnik and how stone misses him

Some reimaginings of Sonic 06! Inspired by various other rewrites and reimaginings I've looked at such as Story Surgery and Garrulous64. I don't know if I'll make anything super thought out like them, but these were fun!

I'm still in awe of how good Ed looks in Street Fighter 6. A shining example of how one can take an underwhelming or unpopular character and turn them into (what I assume will become, based on everyone's early impressions) a fan-favorite.

I wish more series took this approach with some of their characters.

Trying out my own take on redesigning Princess Elise (Sonic '06) to fit better into the franchise. Yes, more older art (these are from 2015). I was trying to stylize her a bit, and see if I could get her to fit with the human designs from Sonic Unleashed because I really think those designs fit best with the anthro characters.

I think my favorite sketches are a tie between the first and third in the lineup.

DISCLAIMER!: This is NOT a redesign of Bee from Season 1 Episode 8 of Helluva Boss! I am actually a big fan of Bee, but she feels more like a Princess of Gluttony rather than a Queen of Gluttony. Therefore, in my headcanon, Bee is actually the daughter of Beelzebub and Cerberus, and her full name is Bianca. Also, I do NOT want to see any hate towards this design, I made this purely for fun, not to spite the official design! Any hate comments towards this design will result in blocking.

And once again, as stated above, this is not a redesign of Beelzebub, this Beelzebub is a separate character from Bee. I wanted to give her a bit more of a party girl look, while at the same time making her look regal and fitting of the Queen Bee title. Also, in this new look, she's now married to Cerberus, who in my headcanon, is the King of Hellhounds. I decided to make Bee the bio-daughter of Beelzebub in my new headcanon, so in this new design, Beelzebub has a lot of colors that Bee has in the show, as well as the lava lamp stomach but instead of the blues, Beelzebub has more purples in this new design. She also has a lava lamp abdomen as well, as I thought it was a cool detail. I also took inspiration from Lovesart23's design on Twitter (all credit goes to them, and an amazing artist btw, highly recommend you check them out). I also ditched the fur coat, as that will now be an accessory and I figured it would cover all her details.
