I suddenly got the urge to make a little Christmas comic with an oc of mine. Although I doubt I'll finish in time for Christmas so I'm gonna send the w.i.p, and probably the second part after Christmas Anyway, hope you enjoy :>

Blaze kept her hands behind her back as Poppy spoke, her eyes focused past the possum to the hole in the roof. What ever had caught Poppy couldn't have been mystical in nature. Even she could feel the other's Dulling of magic around her from this distance. It wasn't painful for her but it was like a tingle along her fur, and down the tip of her tail. Her Glamor taking a small amount of effort to keep in place when they made physical contact. So she had to wonder what had pulled her here and why. Was it simple a freak accident she wondered.

Her eyes returned to Poppy and she offered the same warm smile she had earlier. She had an aura like a warm summer day, bright as sunshine despite the situation she tried to be as friendly as she could be. But she had no idea how her mother would react to such a request, but she prayed Poppy would be allowed to stay. Her home sounded awful in many ways. She wanted to give her a chance at a better life.

" I doubt your aura will be an issue for mother. You are but a drop of rain amongst a great inferno. A minor inconvenience but she is the goddess who created these islands, and have birth to life ins this word... i doubt there is much anyone could do to harm her directly... especially in her Temple where her power is magnified. You may rest easy about that "

" I will have the Royal Physicians care for your child once we arrive. She may well need to go to a proper hospital for treatment, but they will be able to recommend a proper cure. If that fails... I know a certain friend who is quite skilled in technology. He may be able to help where we can not. But i will do what i can for your child i promise "

She turned slowly to one of her officers again her attitude was much softer now then it had been on arrival.

" Lt. Would you procure a Taxi for our return to the Palace... and call ahead and let them know of our imminent arrival. "

She turned her attention not to poppy but to Lilly as she couldn't help but laugh a bit and leaned down so she was closer to the childs eye level. She was a bright child with a bright soul, and Blaze had a soft spot for children. Having not had a real childhood herself moments like these always made her smile.

" There are many jobs among the Castle staff, everything from our castle guard, to the chefs who prepare meals, to those who tend the gardens, down to the janitors who insure the castle looks presentable. Of course there are many politicians who dwell within... much to my dismay ...ah, as for where you may go. "

She chuckled and gave Lilly a little pat on her cheek for reassurance, before turning to poppy fully once again. Mostly to answer her request though it might again not be the answer she wanted but it was the best she could do.

" Well i'm sure something could be arranged, we have many positions within the palace walls. Though i suppose knowing your own life skills would help in that determination. However until mother makes her decision for now i fear we shall await her decision on this matter. "

She explained with a soft smile

" Come the Taxi will be here soon, from there the Palace...I'm sure you are both curious where you have landed. It is about time you seen the city beyond this shops walls is it not? "

Blaze turned on her heels making her way outside hopefully with her guests in tow. The city beyond was something out of a book almost, great spires of crystal rose into the sky beyond. Magical lights lit the streets, and floating buildings above them seemed to ride on the clouds themselves. It was a marvel and many sought to walk these streets. But few got that honor but here poppy was, standing in t he streets of Solenna the capital of Sol.

As if on Que the vehicle pulled up in front of them while it was a simple Taxi you might expect elsewhere. It was powered by magical crystals, and floated above the ground ever so slightly. As long as poppy and lilly didnt touch the engine Blaze was sure it would be fine as she glanced back at the two.

" So why not tell me of your work skills i can consider them while we wait for mothers decision, then i can see about employment either at the palace or perhaps the city beyond... should things go in your favor at least "

"Can't say I ever met a Goddess before, though where I'm from all the God's are having a bit of a disagreement at the moment." Most so one God disagree with all the others, though Poppy was sure this wasn't the place to mention that. "I hope me having anti-magic won't be a problem for her. Not sure how Gods feel about that kind of stuff." The opossum had many questions how a deity treats anti-magic.

"Well, looks like you got lucky, Lily. We'll be staying at the palace after all," Poppy said, patting her daughters head who now had a wide grin on her face. "Though I'd like to at least have someone fix up her eye in the meantime. I can always pay you back later as I don't think you'd take nibs or notes." The opossum just realized she was now flat out broke.

"Say, is there a chance I could maybe get some work at the palace?" Poppy asked nervously, unsure how such a request would go. The opossum had never worked for royalty or even thought about it so was unsure what their hiring process was like.

"What kind of work is there at a palace? Do we have ask permission to walk around? How many guards guards work there? Can I get a bouncy bed? Do we have to eat fancy meals or do we get to pick what we eat? How far is it? Is it super big? Do you throw fancy parties? Can me and my mom come to any fancy parties?" Once again Lily's curiosity took over as she bombarded Blaze with all sorts of questions.

"Lily, I'm sure she'd love to answer all your questions, though lets focus on getting to the palace and settled in for now, okay?" Poppy didn't want to discourage Lily's curiosity, though needed her daughter to dial it back for a bit. The younger opossum smiled and nodded, understanding she had to wait. "Alright, lead the way."

What i love about sonic x shadow generations is that it still treats some sonic 06 stuff as canon like location's, character's, all the sort.

I always viewed the ending of 06 as that, after elise blew out the last remnant's of solaris, the only thing's left from that deleted/original timeline was the location's and people, and all memories of the deleted timeline and any mention of solaris and the flames of disaster/iblis etc etc were obviously wiped from everyone.

It explains why omega actually knows about kingdom valley in some way when you talk to him, and how big actually WENT to solenna and MET ELSIE.

the only thing from that timeline that space time/the time eater NEVER want to bring back is mephiles, he's kept underground, basically hidden from the timeline/any person in white space, he is a THREAT who should never be acknowledged or brought back in any circumstances.

and after breaking out of his seal he is DESPERATE to come back to the timeline in some way after being sealed away/kept in a deleted timeline for YEARS.

the time eater bringing back crisis city and kingdom valley is one thing, kingdom valley could still be a thing in the current timeline, just probably abandoned.

crisis city is a remnant of a deleted timeline but it isn't TOO much of a threat to space time, if we don't count the iblis fire enemies as a threat since they are made from him.

and I'm pretty sure it's just restored back to its erased timeline anyway after the time eater is destroyed so thankfully it's probably just back to being erased.

but nah mephiles a ACTUAL threat, if he isn't defeated here and now then this timeline is back to being FUCKED, thank god shadow was there right when he broke out of the scepter of darkness.

i always find that cool, and obviously 06 and what stuff DOES remain from that game is put into question at time's but it'll always be fun and interesting to see what 06 stuff they acknowledge/bring up as canon.

So, there’s a whole lot of talk about how the movie Pachacamac may just be pretending to be a fun uncle and lying to Wade, but I don’t think that’s the case. True, some of the stuff in the musical number didn’t quite line up with the lore in the second movie, but I came up with a reasonable explanation for it.

1: The Owl Attack

Pachacamac says that Knuckles’ father died while Knuckles was with him, though Knuckles himself says that his father died in a battle he was told not to go to. However, I don’t think this part is entirely made up.

people seems to think the owls were the good guys and the echidnas were the bad guys simply because Pachacamac was on their side. The way I see it, neither of them were the bad guys. Both were fighting to protect the emerald from evil, though neither saw the others wanted the same thing.

I bet the owls did attack the echidnas. They were at war after all.

2: The demon

If Knuckles had to have iblis inside him to use the flames of disaster, then how could Knuckles use this power against iblis? I think this, again, is a slight exaggeration from Pachacamac. I bet someone (possibly someone in Solenna) sent Iblis to another planet to be sealed into whoever could defeat him. I bet Knuckles fought him, was losing, but managed to get back up and get Iblis down long enough for him to get sealed away inside Knuckles. I imagine the flames of disaster part went something like this:

either that or Iblis was already partially weakened, and Knuckles absorbed some of his powers, using the flames of disaster, and accidentally sealed him inside himself when he defeated him.

The point is, I really like that Pachacamac is just a fun uncle guy in the scu and don’t like people overlooking that because of his game personality.

I know it's three o'clock in the morning... But I have an idea this week Elise interacting with characters from IDW I'm even going to do a series of comics first by the duo Rough and Tumble visited Soleanna (as canon the first time they visited was from the phase region Dust Desert Sonic 06 from the IDW edition) but with "what if" they visit the city of Soleanna and come across Elise (in disguise) running away from her responsibilities and they both end up living an adventure and a friendship begins.

The second comic would be Surge and Kit meeting Elise through a mission related to Soleanna and both befriend the princess, it would be comedy and funny.

Third would be an interaction where Mimic (disguised as someone from the castle) invaded Soleanna's castle on Clutch's work and Elise ends up venting and interacting with an octopus about her life.

Wednesday would be a short interaction between Starline and Elise talking at a party in another country and Starline takes advantage of this to talk to the Princess about business and a suggestion of a partnership with a friend of his, which Elise politely refuses but Starline says that one day they will return to be found.

Fifth Elise meeting Clutch at a party for a Chaos race in Solenna that she is surprised by the race to cheers everyone who visited Solenna and Clutch ends up becoming interested and interacting with the princess in a casual way and trying to take advantage of her naivety to manipulate and gain access to Solenna, but Elise ends up refusing the invitation for a partnership and says that he will always be welcome to talk, but Clutch them in future plans here.

Last (this is a spin off) an interaction with Deadly Six and Elise (feat with Elise being accidentally transformed into one of them) and years of interacting in a unilateral and even half-platonic way.I hope you accept my idea 👀

Moonstruck: More about Czeska

Since I'm rereading it these days, I should probably mention Franken Fran is a primary influence on one of the characters in Moonstruck-- Czeska Rau, vampire doctor and party member.

Like Fran, Czeska is foremost a scientist and doctor. She's a brilliantly talented doctor who doesn't discriminate: Mortal, Cambion, Undead, all can benefit from a little applied necromancy when times get tough, and Czeska's willing to push through mistakes, experimentation, and unintended consequences to usher in a new field of medicine and in pursuit of this, ends up resurrecting Tabitha. Tabs is our protagonist and recent defector from the local church militant-- someone who doesn't exactly deserve compassion from the people she once hunted as beasts, but Czeska's a doctor, dammit.

While Fran's "respected" (and feared) on her own merits, Czeska's desperate for legitimacy. She's frosty, professional and-- she insists-- in perfect control of the various urges vampirism induces in her (feed, dominate, revel and cackle). Her job's constantly at odds with her nature-- she's kind of a paradox and that makes her immensely self-hating. In her head, she thinks her work will vindicate her as a civilized, functional monster, one worthy of respect from mortals. Let's see how that goes for her.

Moonstruck's gimmick is that characters have a "Frenzy Gauge", which, when full, forces the character's "class" into a monstrous new powerset. It then must be drained back down to bring them back to their senses.

Czeska's repressed, methodical nature means she's the slow to Frenzy but so pent-up that she's hard to rein in once she flips. Since she's your primary healer but turns into an assassin when Frenzied, you've gotta be selective about when she pops off.

To compare, her direct foil, Solenna the werewolf, who loves being a monster, frenzies quick and has a synergistic relationship between her normal and frenzied modes.

Anyway, I'm still poking at it this thing. Keep looking forward to it.

“Solenna's real?” The words spilled out of his mouth before he had time to think about it. He snapped his mouth shut, teeth tapping together loudly. Now wasn't exactly the time for his curiosity regarding the two different worlds.

He cleared his throat, silent throughout the rest of Shadow's explanation, expression teetering just on the edge of being too grave for the face of Sonic the Hedgehog. He almost wanted a deeper explanation, more detail, so he could envision what happened better... But he could suspect, even by the subtle movements of Shadow, that such details were a bit too much for right now.

And come to think of it, he wasn't sure he wanted to know what could so effectively drain Chaos Emeralds of all their power.

“Figures you'd have the green one!” Sonic remarked, finally having put a smile back onto his face, “I can almost always rely on you to have it on hand, can’t I?” The laugh died in his throat as he looked at the empty rock again.

At least he knew what color this one was. It would make what he was about to try a lot easier.

He put his mask back on, screwing it in place. He then dropped the towel he was still holding on the floor. After a deep breath and shaking out his metal hands, he finally took hold of the emerald and cradled it in his claws. 

It was still astonishing to him just how dead it felt. He never thought that an emerald could be so empty, so void of energy, when they were normally so full they could power an entire country… Or so the likes of GUN were convinced.

He swallowed and took in a deep breath. It wasn't very likely that this emerald shared the same type of energy that he was familiar with in the green emerald back home, but he took a moment to recall how he visualized it: a bright, energetic sprout emerging from the ground and constantly growing new leaves for every leaf it shed.

He then focused on his own energy, a constantly rolling marble that had turned into a steel ball after he embraced his status as Metal Sonic. He envisioned it slowing, slowing, slowing until it stopped in its tracks, his energy almost growing stagnant from outside view. With a lot of focus, his energy became a seed, which planted itself in the soil of the Chaos Emerald.

By this point his claws started to tremble, as did the rest of his body. But he remained resolute, focused hard on the stone in his hands.

Their energy began to intertwine together like a multitude of roots that spread through the soil quickly--but the soil was shallow, and the roots started to pool together and tie themselves into knots at the base.

Not only was this taking a lot of focus, but it was also taking a lot of energy. But he wouldn’t give up so easily on trying to get the roots to finally sprout. However, finger by finger, his energy was letting go, unable to pump itself any further into the emerald, but equally unable to keep up with the drain that the rock demanded.

He gasped, eyes flashing wide on his screen, before the green lights fizzled as he collapsed onto the ground with a loud grunt, his arms and legs stiff around him. Miraculously, his claws held tight onto the emerald, shielding it from the fall. His breath was heavy under his mask, and even now, his body shook.

It appeared as though he had succeeded; in it, a faint green glow fluttered pathetically in the center, weak and fleeting like a wilting bird, fading even now…

The General keeps a neutral face as Sonic speaks. That sense of discomfort never seems to leave his body language, concealed behind the doom wings draped over the hybrid hedgehog's back like a cape.

"This was originally the Green Chaos Emerald." General Shadow declares in response to Sonic's question. "I had it on my person since the tragedy occurred. The...."

He sighs, pinching his brow. His ears droop as he recalls the memory.

"...the Sonic of our time had originally taken all seven to where the Subzero Crater currently is in order to defeat Dr. Eggman with them. I had suspicions that Eggman's attack was a ruse. The Doctor's image was being puppeteered by an unknown force. That, I know because at the time this attack was supposedly happening, I and the rest of Team Dark at the time had found the REAL Doctor kidnapped in Soleanna in an underground research lab."

"I attempted to step in and stop Sonic from using the chaos emeralds against the imposter, but by the time I got there, I was too late. The mastermind behind this played the both of us for fools. Leading Sonic by the nose and distracting me and my team from the bigger picture until it could pull of its plan. The green emerald was the only one I was able to recover after it was stolen from Sonic. And it's power was fading by the time I got my hands on it."

"We've gathered other chaos emeralds since then, but I can't tell you what colors they are."

Solenna went to Leah to talk about her situation. Chuck's speaker Solenna informs Leah about her intentions, in no case thought she would make someone suffer. Solenna did not know that vampires could have children.

Solenna: - I do not ask you anything, I can raise my twins alone.

Leah: - I do not ask you that .. And then I think Chuck has his say ...

Chuck: - These are my children, I would take care of it! I leave you the custody Solenna, I wish to see them as possible, if you agree.

Solenna: - With great pleasure Chuck! Leah?

Leah: - Well ... There are a lot of families recomposed at that time ..

Solenna: - Thank you both! We will get there and do whatever is possible to be happy.

Chuck: - I would make my children happy, I hear by the twins, and Tom!

Again, i had not intended to write an essay, but alas this is equivalent of a pipe bursting (the pipe being my mouth, and the water is the words.) ]

OKAY SO SONIC 06 INFODUMP AND SYMBOLISM LETS GO-

Starting w/ the defintion for claritys sake:

The defintion of "absolution" according the Merriam Webster is:

- that act of forgiving someone for having done something wrong or sinful: the axt of absolving someone or the state of being absolved

Specifically : a remission of sins prounouced by a preist (as in the sacrament of reconcilliation)

With the latin absolutus meaning "set free" to later become "set free from sin"

Furthermore, by confession of the song writer himself, the song was about a gay lover of which he had broken up with and was considering getting back together (take of that what you will)

But also the usage of absolution (according to The Webster) is inherently dipped in the usage of "sin" "preists" and ultimatley- relgion, thaf of which we already know through the relgious acts or rituals, continuous symbols of Solaris, prophecy and even visions (which often have some relgious context in the past).

Solaris is essentialy THE SUN GOD of Solenna (name scheme is similar to the greek influence that Athena had on Atlas)- and Mephiles/Iblis are esentially parts of Solaris (a god)-

You could.. skewer the message of both the Song writer and the game itself to say it is a song about Mephiles.

Going on the lyrics however is another story on its own (to clarify: i am IGNORING the context the songwriter provided):

As well as

Evaluating the first lines:

Obviously "in the night light" it gives a feeling of surrounded by darkness, by being within the "night light" one may see their hopes and dreams (like a way out, a freedom from something if you will) .

Which again- the real life object itself can only be truely used in the presence of darkness, further emphising the point (especially since his name is well.. Mephiles the DARK)

If anything, you can infer the darkness as a tie to mephiles- but also to the apocolyptic state of the future! That the nightlight serves as Silver's hope that things will get better.

With the second to fourth line- can be a refrence to the deception of their relationship, the iblis trigger not being sonic- but rather Elise (A.K.A her tears (or better yet, emotional turmoil causing Iblis to awaken. )

We also get a hint of doubt with "all your troubles, are they all what they seem?" That plauges Silvers story from the very beggining to the near end. (Hell, even during the trials, the oracle states that doubt and worry has plauged his heart and by traveling to the past/finding the truth- his heart is eased.)

He's constatly questioning his surrondings and striving to figure things out (from his begining intro when he was expressing his fustration as to why no one will awnser his questions directly, to questioning mephiles approximatley 3 times and still receiving no direct awnsers/no awnser at all due to him changing topics) you could interpret this line as those doubts.

Simiarly, "all the preachers, all their lies" ties within that relgious aspect- as well as mephiles's promise (for clarity: i call it mephiles "promise" (emphasis on quotations) which is that by killing the iblis trigger this their world will be saved. By technicallity its not wrong in that statement- however the "lie" is that Sonic is the trigger instead of like- Eggman or Elise crying due to emotional turmoil. ) being a falsehood; a preacher on a podium of lies.

He basically "preached" to Blaze and Silver about how he knows everything, and can SAVE them and their future by venturing to the past- and killing the iblis trigger. In addition- as preachers often do- he gave Silver a sembelance of hope (que "nightlight") as he was actually questioning what was the point of fighting Iblis and at a time- appeared to be giving up! (This dialouge occured a few minutes before Silver asked for someone to "give him an awnser" to defeating Iblis- in which Blaze couldn't give, but Mephiles did.) So i guess you could skewer it in that favor as well.

For obvious points: "but then you still control the past" similarly to the fact that Mephiles is a timetraveler/controls & manipulates time naturally-

Furthermore, Shadow's line in Mephiles wanting to "destroy the past" can help support this interpretation, since having the ability to control whether or not the past (or persay- history) is destroyed and determine what gets remembers- can be represented in the line "you still control the past" because we already know that Silver doesn't control time- he simple travels through it.

"Only you know if you'll be together" <- refrence to the fact that Mephiles is literally a broken fragment of what Solaris is supposed to be- and well.. he literally has to get himself together (probably in the emotional part too- as Iblis is deemed (multiple times by characters like Elise) the embodiment of "solaris's anger".)

"Only you know if we shall last" can be both tied to Silver and Mephiles' fickle relationship as a whole, but also being a tie to their life (mostly catering to the "death of a god" type stuff- and possibly even "death of silver" if you take into account that Silver kind of helped Sonic and Elise erase the future by which he was born in, esentially doing a Back To The Future plot but with bigger stakes. Though thats only excluding other titles, which go out their way to rewrite Silvers story instead of tackle the implications the two essentially wiped themselves off the face of the universe via their own actions, as Mephiles instigated the plot of 06 by allowing Silver to come into the picture- and Silver.. well did his thing in "saving the future" at any cost, which included sacrifing himself and subsquently Blaze.)

Continuing to the next line, as well as progressing the idea of the nightlight symbol of hopes and dreams within a world coded in darkness and despair-

"In the night light do you still feel your pain"

Is a pretty raw quote considering that despite the hope and dream of Silver he still feels the hurt and pain that his world brings. The line is framed as a question- as if someone is asking Silver if he's well.. alright?

That "for the valor you wait: it never came" that the heroism- that heroic idology of "I will save the future!" And such would never actually happen? (Que the doubt and signs of giving up as dicussed prior)

Because if you take a further look at Sonic 06, everyone is likely dead (ESPECIALLY ELISE), Shadow is locked up, Omega is on lock down- and the only previous cast we know is Blaze- though they imply that this game her orgin story so she doesnt count- and most importantly IBLIS CANNOT DIE.

Not only that- but no one will give the very desperate Silver an direct awnser (he points this out at the begining of the epsiode) as to how to defeat Iblis for good, why Iblis is here and when did Iblis come about (which is actually later given awnsers to via traveling through time by Shadow the hedgehog- awnsers which Mephiles ALSO gave no awnser to. But this alone also kind of gives emphasis as to why Silver trusted him so quickly AFTER he provided proof to his claims (as he really truely didn't and continued to doubt him whenever they had a chance to interact) because well like it or not- 1. Hes already used to people not giving direct awnsers 2. Hes pretty desperate, especially aince Blaze and Silver apperantly had to have a conversation equivalent of " we will sacrafice ourselves and literally do everything we can, even if its murder, in order to bring a better future to us and everyone and 3.Mephiles was the one who gave Silver hope, albiet fickle. ALSO Shadow is known for "bringing hope to humanity" and Mephiles takes his form- and with the whole religion and god (Solaris) thing (which often known for bringing hope and/or proseperity to the people as they only fear his anger as any god-fearing people would).

So its not a far cry to say that somehow, someway, these two lines could be interpretted via Mephiles thinking about/observing Silver, knowing that he'll never actually get those awnsers, or find that "valor" he so desperatley craves (even a savior complex if we take it far enough)

Then to say "if you were able, would you go into the past? to mend faux paus with one last chance?" <- is basically the entire premise Mephiles presented to Silver (and Blaze) as well as the basic plot of this game.

We can also these lyrics( i quite frankly cherrypicked) this as Silver and Mephiles describing one another through their own lines. With Silver and describing Mephiles "preaches and lies" with Mephiles describing Silver in seeing some pain and wondering if he would truely travel to the past with him.

NOW we add the context of the songwriters original intentions- and we can interpret the song of exes and o's as well.. literally that! Silver and Mephiles had essentially "broken up" by the time Silver got the awnsers he was looking for.

Infact, by the time Silver learns Sonic isnt the Iblis trigger- he actually does the exact same plan that Shadow does- by using his past knowledge of how Iblis was originally sealed- and using it against him (with it failing- and then succeding thanks to Blaze.) Which is literally using the past knowledge...against him (aint that something that exes do a lot? <- might be stretching it there but hopefully you understand where im going with this.)

(Also its kind of funy that- as i previously stated:

"During the trials, the oracle states that doubt and worry has plauged his heart and by traveling to the past/finding the truth- his heart is eased"

Silver finds solace in going into the past, as said by the oracle. If anything, this song is about thinking about getting back with your ex- I'd say that requires a lot of "looking back at the past to evalute you're future" ey?)

In additon, Mephiles doesn'y always appear in his story directly- but is always present in his life similarly to how "Mephiles Whisper" motif plays at time where Amy confronted Silver. His influence on Silver is there, its ALWAYS there. Whether it be in his trials as the purple enemy goons (which only really started appearing AFTER he discovered that Sonic isn't the trigger) or motifs, his actions- HELL EVEN CERTAIN HABITS SILVER OBTAINS FROM MEPHILES (que the weird proccess of "Amy/Silver questions Silver/Mephiles- then Silver/Mephiles does a head turn and changes the topic instead of saying the truth upfront. Though i believe theres only one or two instances of this habit share/ parallels between them- but the fact that happens is weird in and of itself.)

This isnt even touching on the fact that it was Mephiles who started this entire story because he, for some random reasons we do not know, thought that "YES! The guy who is incredibly desperate to kill my other half- this is infact the guy (and his bbf) whom i will bring into my "humble abode", just to show him a presentation that I claim I have made just for him in order to convince him that im legit, as well as give him a purple chaos emerald (because obviously i just happen to have that laying around, its not like the entire cast spent like hours trying to find these things) in order to DOUBLE CONVIENCE HIM because hes doubting me and oh boy do i seriously need a random white hedgehog to join me on my quest to becoming Solaris because I need a merry band of hedgehog and cat to do my dirty work (despite the fact that i could EASILY murder sonic the hedgehog without any help at all) because i want to go torment this random guy i have a vendetta against. Yes! This both a perfectly normal thing to do for strangers that are both desperate and hell-bent on essentially stripping my other half's (which is basically me) life away! Oh and its totaly NOT WEIRD AT ALL that I just happen to be listening to Silver's and Blaze's conversation in and coincendentally had an entire dramatic speech planned just so i could bring in Silver's attention"

(of which, funnily enough- Silver actually DEMANDS Mephiles tell him what hes talking about with the "chicken and egg/flower and seed" shit. He was literally like " ah i gotcha" with the erie music and im just like.. Solaris is bird thats constantly coupled with a flower motif, which means my guy seriously went with the "cryptic story if my life" thinking that talking vaugely talking about birds and flowers seriously meant that he had a "gotcha" moment with Silver like my guy-

I neatway to break this down so its much more comprehenisble is through some gamer au. Lets say, Silver needs help beating a level on a puzzle game and is getting rage-quit levels of fustrated, and Blaze (the girl whos been helping him) doesnt know how to beat the level.

Silver goes 'ugh! This puzzle is unbeatable! Im done!" And Mephiles, who is sitting behind them on a different computer and eavesdropping goes "wait! i know how to solve it!" (And hes like at level 100 at this point while they're on level 9)

And silver whos is suspicious goes, "really huh?"

"Yea, actually im on level 100!" Mephiles says,

And silver is like, "WHAT?! THATS SO COOL!! YOU HAVE SHOW ME!!!"

And the mf that is Mephiles starts breaking down, peice by peice- every single part of this ONE section on the whole puzzle game. Then offers Silver the cheatcode called "#KillTheIblisTrigger" <- which is infact, an actual cheatcode in the puzzle game.

Then, to preserve his ego and safety on the level ranking system, purposefully lies about a certain mechanic so that Silver gets to progress the game- but doesnt FULLY understand the mechanics, and he gets an excuse to continue trolling and harrasing shadow the hedgehog on the server, while ALSO getting to have Silver reliant on him because i guess he likes that.

I dont know how to end this! Ive been writing this for a few hours now and have important work to do! Why do i keep writing 100 page essays about hedgehogs being gay- and this case? Being very toxic.. gay.

Now is Sonic 06 full of weird characterizations? Yeah. But if your going to make a debut character, have no fucking reason as to why they would even interact with another debit character- and they go through a shit ton of effort just to have the other stay by their side for no reason other than plot?

Yeah, thats a crush. Yeah, thats yaoi (toxic edition). And if it aint a crush then goddamit does Mephiles have it bad for some random skinny white boy who has weird ethics and gray morals and a flickering sense of hope.

Because i honestly dont know how to explain why the fuck Mephiles would look at Silver who is essentially beating his- by all techincality- his OWN ASS- half to death CONSTANTLY like "yeahhhhhhhh thats the guy" i mean this is the guy who was laughing while getting shot by omega- this guys into it.

I feel like more people need to talk about how mephilvery dream of an absolution is.

Sonic 06 has to be one of the most hardest characters to swap I’ve faced yet.

So many little details- having to consider whether or not Solaris, Iblis and Memphis should be considered “separate beings” or not-

To the whole timeline shit, and royalty

To just the “crying thing= world destruction”

And the fact that silver became a time traveler is throwing me for looptyloops…

A lot of rehashes are being done and I still ma figuring out a lot of stuff..

A few ideas for Silver, Memphis and Elise has resulted in so many major changes to Solenna lore alone!

It takes me time to full understand how a fused character acts and how their personality mixes together (harmonic or not) and often the first attempt is usually incorrect (which is why changes occur).

As I was just typing this- I forgot that only POWERS and sizes are swapped when doing size swaps.. and I don’t exactly have to swap story roles.

I’m still thinking it all through, but every single combination in Sonic 06 seems to create very interesting stories (some even got scary..)

Though, mafia Silver is still on the table (I really liked that one)
