Okay friends folks and fiends.
Can we just for a second, TALK ABOUT WHY THERE ARE SO MANY VERSIONS OF PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE FORGOTTEN SANDS
There is the Xbox 360 version (the 1st one I played)

Pretty standard stuff, good graphics, interesting storyline, obnoxious puzzles and enemies.
This one runs the same as the PS3 and PC versions
PSP (haven't played this one)

What.... What the fuck. WHO IS THAT BOSS??? WHY IS THE PRINCE IN SAND DUNES IS THIS A DIFFERENT STORYLINE OR SOMETHING??? WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON???
Not going to mention the graphics because it's a PSP for christsakes.
WII (Haven't played this one either)

I have so many issues with this, namely
WHY DOES HE LOOK LIKE THAT
Okay let's break it down here.
This is WII This is 360/PS3/PC

TJIS IS NOT THE SAME GUY!!!!
Okay Okay anyways, back on track, WHY IS THE WII VERSION FIGHTING A DUDE. YOU ONLY FIGHT DUDES AT THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME IN THE 360 VERSION AND THAT'S PRE-SANDIFICATION. WHY IS HE THERE.. WHAT COULD HE POSSIBLY WANT.
UGH
DS Version
Now let me tell you, when I say this threw me for a loop, IT THREW ME FOR A FUCKING LOOP.
Thus us actual fucking gameplay. That fairy chick? THAT'S RAZIA. SHE IS YOUR SWORD NOW. SHE IS NOT DJINN AS FAR AS I'M AWARE???
Also, another thing,
[SPOILER WARNING, PLEASE TURN BACK NOW IF YOU PLAN ON PLAYING THE DS VERSION AT ANY POINT IN THE FUTURE. GOD REST YOUR SOUL IF YOU DO]
APPARENTLY THE PRINCE IS NOW AMNESIATIC AND ALSO WAS FORCED TO PARTICIPATE IN A DARK RITUAL TO RELEASE THE SAND WARRIOR ARMY AND WHAT I THINK IS AHRIMAN???
Also the controls suck ASS but maybe I just need to get a new screen protector for my DSI that isn't scratched to shit....
This fucking story is insane. There's also apparently, according to Wikipedia, a BROWSER VERSION THAT TAKES AFTER THE OG POP GAME and A FUCKING MOBILE VERSION???? I'm going to die. This is too many games that are supposedly the same game.
#prince of persia the forgotten sands#rant#long post#look guys#TLDR: Prince of Persia:TFS is one of the most unhinged game releases ever due to the fact that there's so many different versions#i should also mention that DSI TFS runs with a similar mechanic to POP: The Fallen King#which was pretty good#it had some shaky level design there towards the end but it wasn't terrible#definitely frustrating though

10/16 Daniel 10:13
13 The prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days, but Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I was left there with the kings of Persia,
Daniel fasted for three weeks from all but the very necessities of life while he mourned over a word from God. As he stood beside the Tigris River, an angel appeared before him. No one else could see the angel, but they sensed his powerful presence and ran away. Daniel was overwhelmed and fell on his face. He had to be strengthened by the angel so that he could stand and receive the message from God.
The angel explained that he had been dispatched the moment Daniel began his fast, but another spiritual being, the Prince of Persia, resisted him for three weeks. The archangel Michael came to assist so that he could finally get through to Daniel. His message was about the future of Israel that would take place in the later days. After he relayed the message, he would go back to fight the Prince of Persia and then the Prince of Greece would come.
This is one of the few Biblical accounts of the spiritual forces that are fighting in the heavenlies. The fallen angels resist God's angels. This particular angel referred to the beings as princes of nations. There appears to be powerful demonic beings who push nations to conquer and destroy. No wonder the history of the world is a history of war.
We can also learn from this passage that there are times when we must persevere in prayer. The answer is on its way, but there are powers that resist it. God has allowed all these who oppose Him for His own purposes. When the eternal kingdom is established, we will know that there is no power, human, or angel, who can resist God. We will be amazed to understand how God worked in spite of all opposition for our good and His glory.
Remember: Regardless of the powers that rage around us, both physical and spiritual, God is on the throne of heaven. He is all-powerful and all-knowing.

Unanswered prayer Part 2/4
More reasons for unanswered prayer
In Part 1 we saw that were at least 4 possible reasons as to why your prayers may seem to go unanswered. The possible reasons for unanswered prayer we considered included the first two of the four reasons 1) being out of fellowship with the Lord 2) your prayer was not in the will of God.
Today we look at two more possible reasons for seemingly unanswered prayer which are.
3) a lack of unity in those praying together 4) Delay in the answer from the Lord arriving.
Reason 3. Lack of unity
1 Peter 3:7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
Wow, we better take on board the fact that a husband and wife’s prayers can be hindered by disunity.
Mathew 18:19 Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
The so-called prayer of agreement requires two people to be fully agreed i.e. in unity.
4. Delay in the answer
Daniel 10 Daniel prayed and fasted for Israel for three weeks, then a holy angel turned up and told him, that God sent the answer on the first day that Daniel had prayed, but a fallen angelic being called the Prince of Persia, had battled with the holy angel to delay Gods answer from coming to Daniel.
Romans 1:9-10 Paul wanted to find a way to come and see the church in Rome, but Paul’s prayer appears unanswered?
God had plans, and had Paul imprisoned so that he could write his epistles to the church.
God can be doing something bigger than we can see.
Delayed prayer can eventually increase your faith.
1 Kings 18:42 So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees,
43 And said to his servant, go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, there is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times.
44 And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there arises a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, go up, say unto Ahab, prepare thy chariot, and get thee down that the rain stop thee not.
Elijah and the rain, the servant eventually saw the prayer answered.
“Sometimes the blessing is in the prayer not being answered.”
― Andrena Sawyer.
What about you, can you attribute any of the 4 above reasons given so far for your unanswered prayer?
Amen

The Value of “The Heroic Legend of Arslan” Manga.
Just recently the news got: Hiromu Arakawa's(the mangaka of Fullmetal Alchemist,Silver Spoon) “The Heroic Legend of Arslan” Manga is getting the great preparations for its "final, decisive battle". Namely the outcome of the upcoming Fierce battle will certainly judge the life of Prince Arslan, and of all of the kingdom of Pars.Of course this,in one or other way, will have a Great Impact on its avid supporters in Iran.
Physician Yoshiki Tanaka created the Light Novel series Amir Arsalan, this is the basis for Hiromu Arakawa’s action-fantasy manga through Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine.

The story is:
ECBATANA IS BURNING
In the prosperous kingdom of Pars lies the Royal Capital of Ecbatana, a city of splendor and wonder, ruled by the undefeated and fearsome King Andragoras. Arslan is the young and curious prince of Pars, who despite his best efforts doesn't seem to be qualified for a proper king, like his father. At the age of 14, Arslan goes to his first battle, but loses everything as the blood-soaked mist of war gives way to scorching flames, he’s in pain witnessing the demise of his once glorious kingdom. However,Arslan is destined to be a ruler, and despite the trials and hardships he faces,he has to reclaim his fallen kingdom.
The anime adaptation is set in ancient Persian-inspired fantasy world.

The comments for The Heroic Legend of Arslan are largely positive: "Thank you Japanese for portraying Iran's history," or "You have brought pride to the country's history and culture."
Many netizens were surprised that Japan would make an animation about Iran. One fan thought that Japan "pitied" Iranian history and that "the world is gradually coming to understand our culture and ancient stories." Many regretted how much ancient Persian history was passed over in Iran in favor of Islamic themes. "Iran only makes movies about Islam and Arabs," the above fan wrote. "Our country has many glories and stories, but it doesn't make movies or dramas about them. There are countless religious movies and dramas, but the settings and characters aren't Iranian," another lamented, going on to compare Arslan's depiction of ancient Persia favorably to Hollywood portrayals like Prince of Persia, 300 and Alexander.
Some commenters were pazzled why Iran doesn't have an active animation industry, why Arslan wasn't made in Iran. "I think the country should make animation about our own history" is a typical remark. "Those who think this anime is worthless, why don't you make a better one? This is a very good anime. If you don't like it, you don't have to watch it," huffed another commenter. An animation student defended Iran's animators and pointes out that one, Rasoul Azadani, had worked on films of the Disney Renaissance, albeit opportunities to study animation and broadcast it were severely limited.

A few comments took issue with the anime's so called immorality, especially since the priestess and formidable archer Farangis (above) is dressed immodestly. "The Japanese have certainly made a story based on Iranian civilization, but there must be ulterior motives behind this," one poster assertes. "It becomes clear when you look at the women's clothes. It's true that at that time Iranian women did not cover their heads, but they wore clothes that covered their bodies. Before others recreate Iranian history for us, why don't we study our own virtuous history?" Another viewer went further and claimed the anime was a plot to deceive Iranian girls. "The opinion that Farangis is virtuous, even though she doesn't wear a hijab, is ridiculous. There is a direct link between feminine virtue and the hijab... [but] Iranian girls are wise and the enemy is misguided."
Yet there are netizens perceiving that Japanese animators were attempting to corrupt Iranians,or due to the anachronism of judging pre-Islamic Iran by Islamic standards of morality. "Unfortunately some people in our country think of other countries as against ours, and don't want to think that the expression of thought and speech in newspapers, animation or film is free." Another fan noted that "anime these days is full of [women dressed immodestly]. There are no Zionists or puppeteers behind the scenes. Why do Iranians question others so much?" Others pointed to ancient wall art showing nude women, or recommended the anime for its incorporation of elements from the national epic, the Shahnameh, like the stories of Rostam, Farangis and Siyavash. "You won't be able to say it has nothing to do with Iranian history and culture," a history aficionado asserted.
Below:the main cast of the series9art Hiromu Arakawa):

My say:
Both Japan and Iran have ancient history and civilization.tanaka sensei,Arakawa sensei too took this bold decision due to their fondness for iran. And the Japanese animators went along well with the decision for this anime, which is Higher than Game of Thrones. No offence, the point is GoT is lame, compared to Arslan Senki.
Either Arslan will have a solid win either will fall into the battle will make Impressions domestically ,and in Iran too. the Iranian fans of manga, anime are waiting to see...

Demontober 2023 Day 6: King Bael
Bael is ranked as the first of the Ars Goetia and principal king of Hell, ruling over the East along with being the head of the infernal powers. Bael is the first of the 72 Spirits of King Solomon and governs 66 to 250 legions of demons and spirits.
While his Semitic predecessor was depicted as a man or a bull, the demon Bael was in grimoire tradition said to appear in the forms of a man, cat, toad, or combinations thereof with the appearance of a king or soldier or with the heads of the three creatures onto a set of spider legs. He is able to make his conjurer invisible.
Bael was amongst the order of high angels that joined the ranks of Lucifer during the War in Heaven only to be cast out alongside his fallen cohorts into the abyss which was then formed into and established as Hell. His activities in Heaven were unknown but according to the Zohar, Baal was equal in rank to the archangel Raphael.
After the governing system was set, Bael became a Duke of Hell, with 66 legions of demons under his command. Bael was originally prominent King of Hell before being overtaken by Belial. In the Livre des Esperitz, Bael is described as a king ruled by Orient (Oriens), still possessing the power of invisibility, as well as the power to garner the favor of others, but ruling over only six legions of demons.
Sloane MS 3824 mentions Baal, in "Of the Demon Rulers," as a king ruled by Oriens, attributed with teaching science, granting invisibility, and controlling 250 legions of spirits. Bael appears in later editions of the Grimoire of Pope Honorius, under Astaroth, as a prince whose powers include (again) invisibility and popularity. According to Rudd, Bael is opposed by the Shemhamphorasch angel Vehuiah. It is also believed in the Grand Grimoire that he is a direct subordinate of Lucifuge.
He was an agricultural and fertility deity of Canaan. Many minor deities of ancient Syria and Persia carried the name Baal, which means “the lord.”
According to the Canaanites, Baal was the son of El, the High God of Canaan. He was the lord of life and ruled the death-rebirth cycle. He engaged in a battle with Mot (death) and was slain and sent to the underworld. The crops withered, until Baal’s sister, Anat, the maiden goddess of love, found his body and gave it proper burial. The Canaanites worshipped Baal by sacrificing children by burning.
The term "Baal" is used in various ways in the Old Testament, with the usual meaning of master, or owner. It came to sometimes mean the local pagan god of a particular people, and at the same time all of the idols of the land. The name is drawn from the Canaanite deity Baal mentioned in the Hebrew Bible as the primary god of the Phoenicians.

''I don't like sand, it gets everywhere.''
This is heavily inspired by the appearance of The Prince from the 2008 reboot of Prince of Persia and The Fallen King
I guess i also did this because there's another side-scrolling Prince of Persia game coming out on Early Access this month, since The Lost Crown came out in January. (You know, if you still care about any modern Ubisoft games being released these days.)

Huh, gamestar gave the new Prince of Persia a score of 87. I mean I was probably gonna play it anyway, since it cant be worse than PoP:The Fallen King.
But maybe it will not be an atrocious mobile game like it looked?

Yeah, that's because "small-g gods" aren't gods. They are by nature not gods.
And sure, since you asked, why not?
Psalm 82 is obviously not talking about a conference of gods. The word Elohim (or Theoi since you probably prefer the LXX) there is the standard word for ruler. It's talking about rulers of the people of Israel, his people. Jesus interprets Psalm 82 in exactly this way in John 10:34-36.
"Jesus answered them, 'Has it not been written in your Law, ‘I said, you are gods’? 35 If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), 36 do you say of Him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?"
So, Jesus says Psalm 82 isn't talking about "small-g gods" so... case closed.
As for Daniel 10, there's no reason to think that this isn't talking about the actual prince/ruler of Persian and of Greece. The word for "prince" there gets used over 400 times in the OT and it's almost always referring to some human leader, prince, king, commander, etc. The angel speaking to Daniel is basically telling him that the Lord protects his people from the conquest of foreign kings and that whatever conquest befalls them, he is in control. Even if you don't like that interpretation and prefer a more spiritual interpretation, it could be that the princes of Persia and Greece were demonic forces, fallen angels... either way, there's no "small-g gods" here.
Epehsians 6 makes it explicit that the "rulers and authorities" are demonic in nature. The "rulers, powers, world, and spiritual forces of darkness and wickedness in the heavenly places" are all categorized under the umbrella of "the schemes of the devil" in verse 11.
Two verses before the "elementary principles/spirits" in verse 20 Paul says "Let no one keep defrauding you of your prize by delighting in self-abasement and the worship of the angels." That qualifies what he is saying in verse 20. So, no "small-g gods" here either. This is the same as when Paul says that these same types of "spirits" are "by nature not gods."
Finally, the angel of the waters in Revelation 16 is... an angel. Not a different deity.
So, none of your bible citations amount to anything and they definitely don't support your position.

I posted these on twitter months ago, thought I would post them here too :>
I recently look throught a speedrun of the DS game prince of persia: the fallen king, and I loved Zal so much I wanted to make my own version of him. Zal could have been interesting if he was in the actual PoP game, we would have had a trio!
AND he would be a great mentor for Elika!
