You know what I find intriguing on my millionth run in John's area? The fact that during the bunker scene. He is very much focused on Rook despite Hudson being in the room.
And when he asks "who wants to go first?" He's ONLY looking at Rook. Hudson has her mouth taped shut meaning she couldn't say yes even if she wanted to. (I like to think her screaming is her trying to say yes because she also wants to help rook)
So literally, the bunker scene was never about Hudson and Rook confessing and atoning it was JUST about Rook. Because Hudson could never even try and say yes, he intentionally made it so she couldn't.
People against piracy fail to realize that no, I can’t just ‘buy it.’ They stopped making DVDs and Blu-Rays. They’re barely offering digital copies for download. I am not spending money I could use for food or bills to pay for a subscription service just so I can always have access to a beloved piece of media. Especially not when the service will remove media on a whim without concern for how the loss of access to that piece will make its artistic conservation nigh impossible.
For example, I recently learned that Disney+ had an original film called Crater. It’s scifi, family friendly, and seems cool - I would love to buy it as a holiday gift for my little brother! But: it’s exclusive to D+ and THEY REMOVED IT LITERALLY MONTHS AFTER ITS RELEASE.
The ONLY way I can directly access this film is through piracy. The ONLY available ‘copies’ of this film are hosted on piracy websites. Disney will NEVER release it in theaters, or as something to buy, and it may NEVER return to the streaming service. It will be LOST because we aren’t allowed to purchase it for personal viewing. If I can’t pay to own it, I won’t pay for the privilege of losing it when corporate decides to put it in a vault.
So yes, I’m going to pirate and support piracy.
Edit: if you are able, use $5 you would otherwise use for a streaming subscription to donate to a GazaFunds campaign.
anyone else ever wish they could lie down harder? Like, I'm already horizontal, but I need more horizontal. I need to be absorbed by the floor. I think that would fix me
Hochstein is a very well-known figure in Israel, where he was born and served in the military as a tank crewman in the 1990s. As a businessman, he was also involved as the get-go between Israel and the US, particularly in regard to the energy sector.
Last week, the Israeli military veteran was in Lebanon, where he should not have stepped foot under normal circumstances due to Beirut’s visa regulations on permanent or temporary Israeli residents except with special permissions.
Hochstein did not face deportation from Lebanon thanks to his top American diplomatic status...
You're just asking for it all the time. Why him particularly if not to antagonize and not a nice, neutral career diplomat with a successful track record for once? Punks. 🤦🏻♀️
Calling out Israel’s fuckery in Palestine, while they do the EXACT same shit in Syria, AND while they support Azerbaijan’s actions towards Armenia! (While they BOTH continue to buy weapons and equipment from Israel to do these things!)
Imposter syndrome is just my life. I don't think that I'm particularly good at anything. I'm only ever posturing. Sometimes the results are good. But I know they're just flukes. Other people don't know. But I know.
fun fact about me! I have hyperadrenergic Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (hPOTS). this means I am prone to fainting when I change positions or when I feel a strong surge of emotion, positive or negative. for me, laughing is my worst non-postural trigger.
this is a clip from playing lethal company with friends a few months ago. you can hear the eerie silence of presyncope at 0:19, and the sound at 0:23 is my face hitting the keyboard lmao. I played this for my mother and she literally pissed herself laughing and DEMANDED I show every single person I know (including my doctors, who thought it was funny to see and surprisingly helpful, especially for being audio only).
