There are so many fics out there where the lovesquare has a reveal and then they immediately hash out every misunderstanding, or awkward scenario, or paradoxical situation with the two identities… and I think that’s great and everything… but I feel like Adrien and Marinette are the type to have the reveal, have this whole big moment and then absolutely discuss nothing.

In post-reveal Adrinette, I want complete ambiguity. I want Marinette feeling too awkward to ask Adrien how she fought with him while his civilian counterpart was right there… so she draws an entire conspiracy board instead.

I want Adrien waking up in the middle of the night and realizing to himself that he rejected Marinette for Marinette… and just sitting in that feeling

Even after the reveal their dynamics are still slightly different so Adrien asking Marinette “would you still love me if I was a worm?” gets a soft kiss and an “of course I would, Chaton” but Chat Noir asking Ladybug “would you still love me if I was a worm?” gets her unifying Tikki with Nooroo and going “let’s check”

His eyes locked on her as she absently twirled noodles on her plate, spinning them around and around, just like the knot forming in his stomach.

In love?

The realisation hit him like a punch, he was too late. His fear, his doubt, all the anxious moments he had second guessed himself, had worked against him. He should have told her sooner, how she was the reason he kept going, the pulse in his veins, the very air in his lungs.

Now, he could feel the tearing inside, as if his heart were slowly shredding into pieces, ready to scatter like confetti at his feet. Each one handed to him with a sharp kick to the gut.

Finally, she looked up, her eyes shimmering under the weight of his gaze. His breath caught as she spoke again, her voice soft, almost magical.

'With you.'

I just got a dumb idea that, post reveal, Loid and Yor will get a bowl/drawer thing for when they return home, but instead of keys or something its weapons/gadgets/important secret documents. Just their day to day spy/assassin stuff.

This wouldn't even be a "so I know we are both unarmed" or "now I know who is armed in the house", but more of a hat rack situation. The hat goes on the hat rack, the weapons go in the danger drawer/battle bowl. It's just a thing you do when you go home.

Anya is not allowed access until she's older because there is no way Loid or Yor is not going to train her in some form of deadly combat (whether on purpose or accidental) even during world peace.
