hi i made these posca portraits for some of the lovely @moldspace's chessmen, aka some of my favorite critters she's made. 🖤 (also if you don't follow them yet you totally should! 😤)
21!! I went to the pool today so have a Rohan at the pool in posca paint pen. Pls pretend I didn't fuck up the perspective by adding that pool noodle wrong, thanks 👍
So as you can see, I've been busy painting myself a lil' craft.
Found this puppy on the side of the road months ago during the winter, a little dinged up but over all in good condition.
Took it home with the express plan of cleaning it up in the future, once the summer rolled around and I could set up my spray paint base outside. (Spray paint doesn't set well in the cold)
Well, it was hot as hell out, so it was the perfect time to paint!
And paint I did.
Had this baby baking out in the sun for maximum perfect paint coverage. Painstakingly applying coat after coat for a pristine finish, only to have grounds keeper mow the lawn and launch a gorillion tiny blades of grass pulp all over it, ruining it and forcing me to start over.
After the rage subsided and I cleaned it up, I took it back inside and painted the designs on over the course of a few days and reattached the hardware.
Anyhoo, I'm super proud of how it turned out and someday down the road I'll probably paint more of my storage units to match the Memphis aesthetic as I'm a big fan of it.
Shout out to Killer Klowns From Outer Space for the colour pallet.
More Greek vases hand drawn onto rocks with posca paint markers.
