Yay, an ask!

Point one: Strongly agree!

The unholy trinity was truly awful to Rachel. I’ve seen arguments that Brittany wasn’t as bad as Quintana to Rachel because she just followed them. But following the crowd when they’re doing something horrible makes you just as horrible.

Point two: strongly agree again! Faberry is different, because they made amends in s3, and seemed to be friends throughout the rest of the series. Quinn was a bully, but Kitty was satanic.

Kitty propelled Marley into an ED (I hesitate to say she gave it to Marley because I believe it was already there under the surface). And Kitty’s redemption was not adequate. She walked away completely unscathed, when she should have had huge consequences. It went beyond bullying tbh, since she put Marley’s life in danger.

Donna stopped cleaning the table, her hair wiping across her shoulders as she turned in surprise. She laughed a bit, “what did you say?”

He faltered for just a moment, but stood his ground. Crossing his arms and dipping his chin up in defiance, he repeated, “make me.”

Donna, never one to back down from a challenge, said, “okay.”

“Wait what?”

Donna dropped her rag to the table and strode up to Eric, never breaking eye contact. And much to his surprise, she picked him up, and marched him into the living room.

Eric stared at her, but she just laughed out loud.

Donna:

First Impression: I loved her from the very start. She was cute and pretty and when she said “I see that everyday” and walked away, I knew she was going to be my favorite

Impression now: I still love her, she’s still my favorite

Favorite moment: there are several, but the first one that comes to mind is the one mentioned above. Also anytime she’s drunk or high- girl can’t hold her liquor or her weed!

Idea for a story: a story based off seven, by Taylor Swift. She and Jackie are besties who help each other through the hard times

Unpopular opinion: Donna wouldn’t call Kitty Mrs. F or Mom. It’s out of character for her. She also wouldn’t put up with the slut shaming

Favorite relationship: Formciotti of course 😍

Favorite headcanon: while she hates frills and things on a daily basis, she likes wearing dresses and “pretty things” on her dates with Eric

Nikki:

First impression: I was really interested in the character. Based off the commercial, I was hoping she’d be a somewhat mini Donna. She is and she isn’t

Impression now: she’s my favorite of the new gang.

Favorite moment: when she and Gwen accidentally become friends, when she’s reading the paper at the breakfast table and impresses Red, and when she’s drinking the Slurpee in Nate’s van looking between him and Jay. She’s clearly thinking what idiots.

Idea for a story: She and Nate break up, not over the kiss with Leia, but because he clearly doesn’t respect or love her. She can do so much better, but she doesn’t yet. She finished school, gets the highest score on the SATS, and can get into literally any college she wants

Unpopular opinion: I’m not sure if this is unpopular or not, but I don’t think she should date anyone within the gang. It worked originally, but now it’s a copy-and-paste. And a bad one at that

Favorite relationship: her friendship Gwen. Also love how she looks out for Leia

Favorite headcanon: she dumps Nate

Legit the worst thing I can think of that Donna did to Jackie was being unsupportive of her relationship with Hyde. And she got over that a few EPISODES later. Jackie, on the other hand, calls her a ‘big red whore’, insults her height, etc.

I think because Donna is a hated character (which I don’t get? Just because she doesn’t take any bullshit doesn’t mean she’s mean), they’re looking past her amazing loyalty. Jackie is absolutely downright insulting to Donna. She’s constantly pointing out Donna’s insecurities, calling her a “lumberjack”— which is so insulting! Just because Donna likes casual clothes and is tall doesn’t make her a lumberjack. And like you mentioned, Jackie called her a whore. Jackie also continually insulted Eric as well, which Donna protested against numerous times.

I’m sorry, but if my friend insulted me by pointing out my insecurities, and insulted my boyfriend constantly, I wouldn’t be friends with her!

Donna was pretty mean to Jackie in s8, from what I’ve read. I, admittedly, have never seen s8. But I’ve seen video essays on how Donna’s character was totally annihilated, bringing down with it her amazing friendship with Jackie. One of the things I love most about Donna is her loyalty and quickness to forgive; because, like I said above, I wouldn’t stay friends with Jackie.

Do you have Fez ships? I know you dislike him but were there any pairings of his you like in the earlier seasons?

I really liked him and Rhonda together, and I found Caroline really interesting. I wish they hadn’t played her BP for laughs. Iirc, Fez generally treated her well, ignoring the name calling behind her back.
