ok, but in my mind leia/nate is what jackie/eric could've been, like both ships are made of people who have big expectations about relationships but never got those expectations accomplished by their respective partners (for leia - jay, for nate - nikki, for jackie - kelso/hyde, for eric - donna)

1. Tell us the name of your whip: Timeless. It’s the one I’ve been working on since October, I believe. Basically it’s a collection of oneshots for Danny/Linda since they met to their wedding anniversary in 2023

6. What is your document of your wip/a wip called? Typically the name comes once I finish the work, or have half of it done. Sometimes I write based off the title (ie any song lyric). I’m working on a story for my OCs called “First Time”. I want to change that, but don’t know what to change it to yet

9. What’s a story you’d love to write but haven’t even started yet? I’d love to write more Formciotti, but I can’t get into the groove. I would also like to write a Hill Street Blues story, where Henry and Faye get back together (post-canon).

If soulmates don't exist, then how do you explain THEM?

It’s times like these where Jackie irritates me to no end. Donna was obviously self conscious about her height, her feet, and her hands. And Jackie was constantly reminding her that she wasn’t “beautiful” (used in quotes because Laura is a true beauty) by saying things like this and calling her a “lumberjack”.

Look at Donna’s face after Jackie says that. She’s clearly hurt, but she tries to cover it up with a smile. And she nods and smiles along to Hyde’s comment, but she doesn’t find it amusing. She’s now covering up her hands where as before they were comfortably in the open air

"I told you, I'm not kissing you goodnight," Donna maintained, her arms crossed.

Eric stuck out his lower lip in an exaggerated pout. "Come on, Donna. I know deep deep down you want to.”

She shook her head as she walked into the living room towards the stairs. He followed close behind. "I'll kiss you goodnight, but I'm not doing the other stuff. I'd never be able to respect myself again."

"Now you're just being dramatic. It's not like I'm asking you to do anything really weird."

She scoffed. "You might not realize it, but you are."

"You don't have to buy me anything for my birthday," he proposed.

"Fine." With a loud sigh, she sat behind the couch, facing it. "Let's get this over with."

"You can't even pretend to be a little excited?"

"That's asking a lot from someone who didn't want to do this in the first place."

"Ready?"

"As ready as I'll ever be."

She heard the couch creak slightly as Eric draped himself over the back of the couch. Soon, his head came into view. In her head, she reminded herself that she loved her nerdy husband. Besides, it was just them in the house; no one else would know it happened. He nodded for her to start.

"Do I get to say thank you this time?" she recited.

Per the script he’d handed her during dinner, he didn’t reply. She took that as a cue to carry on.

As her hands reached toward his face, Eric told her, "Wait."

She hesitated briefly before continuing what she’d started. When she pulled up the bottom of his Spiderman mask, Donna saw a huge grin stretched across his face. She rolled her eyes, but a smile played at the corners of her lips. Not wanting him to suffocate, she made sure his nose poked out of his mask.

After trying to think it through logistically, she decided there was no way this kiss would be comfortable. But she told him she’d do it, so she pressed her lips to his and hoped for the best.

As soon as they parted, he managed to pull himself upwards and out of sight. Donna stood up just in time to watch her husband struggle to right himself. "Best goodnight kiss ever," he told her.

Okay, but can we talk about the fact that both Eric and Donna were ready to offer Jackie comfort, despite “not liking her”?

So, um... that... that was the smartest thing I've ever done. And, um... and the best.
