I finally picked up enough speed to work on enough Pokesweet redesigns to post. Personally, I like how Buizert and Tortewig's line turned out, even though I was winging the design for the latter.

Also, changed the names for Sherzel and Migum + Goman, because those are. Not really great names.

In all seriousness, congrats Mahy!! always cool but SUCH a surprise to find a secret baby cache from a mon. Sounds like he's doing a great job of keeping them cool- make sure he's got lots of water and berries available to him. Especially aspear and pecha berries- they're high in nutrient groups frosmoth need lots of!

step one (once they hatch at about 2wks from laying, love exposure etc dependent...) will be GETTING THEM TO A JOY TO BE CHECKED OUT. Hatching can be tough! Don't assume the lil ones are all ok at eyeballing it, they might have all sorts going on inside that a Joy will know how to check for in person

Then you can think about housing! you can make a 'nursery' for baby ice types like snom pretty easily by getting a fridge shelf attachment available at most Pokemarts. you MIGHT have to ask at the counter most ice types are outdoors this time of year so they could've put them away for the season. they look kinda like mini hammocks but boxy?? they're relatively escape proof and you can put in the food and water supplements in special slots. Think 'Snorunt's Supplies' is the brand name my old lab used for them but whatever you get, definitely wanna get the XXS or XXS version. The fridge needs to be kept below 3C at all times. Maybe better to call it a freezer lol.

Food wise... Hand (wing?) Frozen leaves from the wild that your Dofiu has approved are probably best for the Snomlings. They're plant and ice eaters mostly so as long as they get a steady diet of freezing cold leafy matter they'll hit all the milestones no problem. if its too warm they can get sick and trust me you don't wanna be cleaning snom silk off your clothes 😭

for Cutiefly (Dofiu you lucky papa) it's a LIL different. They're pretty simple- just a mesh box will keep them in, and they like room temp loads... uh. go for VERY fine mesh though. they will be so freaking tiny!! the eggs make you think they'll be so big but THEY HATCH OUT SO ITTY BITTY

For food you'll want to mix up a combination of (infant) Zubat Smoothie Mix and Flabebe Honey at 30:70 and that'll do it from the top of my head. They'll take it from a spoon or a dropper pretty easily. Biggest worry is them trying to escape on ur clothes and getting blown away for the first while

ALWAYS get a Joy's opinion and find books and other people in your area to help with lil ones!! but these are my bugxpert ramblings for ya 😁

Me and gf recently decided to play this game, and I’m excited but I’m confused on the typings and how they correlate to physical types and special types example. In gen 1-3 fighting is physical and fire is special. Does Pokémon sweet still work like this? I found one documentation of this on pokesweets fandom but it’s confusing. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, I do not have that information... but other people do!

After a quick Google search, it looks like the Fandom page has an explanation, and the types are in fact split like in gen 3, as opposed to the actual moves being categorized individually. I know most people don't like to use Fandom though, so here are the details!

That much is clear but I'm curious about the rest of the circumstances of this. If you have a pokemon that eats eggs why on earth would you give them any access to the nest of your other pokemon? The sneasels under my care have never had access to the eggs!

When my husband's absol laid eggs I replaced them with decoys and put the real ones in incubators away from their father. The whole thing is just... strange at best extremely neglectful and concerning at worst

Short answer: No

Complicated answer: Somewhat. Most of the ghost pokemon you will see in this world have never died. A lot were born like most pokemon in the world. However, there are some pokemon which have died before. We do not have much data on this. There are pokemon like Shedinja and Annihilape which while neither of them are truly dead, their souls manage to surpass a physical form.

Yeah! I’m from a world where Pokémon, the little creatures you see running around, were called pokesweets! And were different pastries and candies and other sweet food items! I’m not entirely sure whether coming from different worlds is normal, however! It’s been noted that there’s some strange multiverse connection here on rotomblr? Like you and I are not necessarily in the same world or universe right now, so I guess it’s the infinity of the multiverse!

Fun fact, bakers where I come from were also pokesweet breeders in a sense! So now, in this world, my experience in pokesweet baking can largely just be applied to normal baking, plus the few Pokémon who are pastries here too! Thanks for the ask Jester, I also get the sense we’ll get along great^-^!!

We’ve spared no expense in making the experience unique, which is why there is a brand-new type chart consisting of twelve flavors of ice cream. (Apple is totally a flavor of ice cream.) And if you’re sick of Kanto, you’ll be pleased to know this is totally not Kanto, no matter how much it seems to be.

As the world is designed to reward exploration, there’s something waiting in every map that may not have been there before, whether it’s a cleverly hidden item or a dreadfully bad pun. (We have plenty of those.) The PokeSweets themselves are as delicious as they look, and they look good enough to eat!

So. How do you tell if your male Frosmoth is like. Brooding eggs? Or something? My frosmoth has always been very fatherly but it’s seemed… More lately, and my cinderace keeps mentioning that he wonders where Dofiu is, and I feel that he’s sneaking off to do smth. In south Galar btw, if that effects anything, but he was caught more north.

Hooooo boy that's a tough one!

So, first of all, I would check the area Dofiu is hanging out in for any EXTRA frozen leaf bundles. They'll be hard to miss.

The way they prepare for Snoms is by gathering and making a nest of frozen leaves, weaving their own scales in to help keep them frozen. The Snom hatch out and eat these as their first meal, and the scales keep them safe and cool until they've got their first coat of icy spikes even if they're not in the right season window.

If you can't find his area of patrol, I would see if you can't set up a 'bait' nursery ish area. A few branches, lots of leaves, nest building stuff you know? Your Frosmoth MAY just be feeling broody and be happy to stay home and play denbuilding, or it may. Uh. have found a lady frosmoth (or other mon) in the wild it wants to impress. in which case good luck keeping it inside jfdggddhf

I've heard of a case where a disabled Braviary kept defending stones like a total papa mon, and eventually they managed to switch one out for a baby rufflet who was orphaned. it was SO cute the way they bonded. maybe Dofiu could be a foster parent if the instinct keeps strong?

Hiiiiii, I’m Mahy, I keep stealing her login information. I live at the farm she’s been staying at, one of the ones who found her! I have a bunch of Pokémon, and I tried the league challenge here in Galar. Had to forfeit because of my sisters medical emergency. Now I’m teaching my Pokémon how to work on the farm and help out!
