What would Leon’s favourite Pokémon be do ya think? 🤔

oooh that's a good question!! personally the first one that comes to mind would maybe be a Hatterene! i can see Leon adopting it in its pre-evolution state and bonding with it over the span of the games. maybe he picks up a Hatenna in Raccoon City and takes it along because it's so cute but so scared, and slowly trains it up alongside himself until it never wants to leave his side <3 especially with the Hatterene evolution line having a general dislike for people / feeling other people's emotions strongly / becoming a heavily battle-oriented pokemon over time, I can see Leon bonding with one since he's kind of a loner in the later games and it developing a huge protectiveness over him as its trainer, esp once it's fully evolved and can just whup anybody's ass that tries to drag him into more shit (RIP Vendetta Chris). also bc i can imagine the transition of Hatenna > Raccoon City, Hattrem > RE4, and Hatterene > RE6/Vendetta on, and the idea of RE4 era Leon being buff as hell and holding up those boxing gloves for his teensy-tiny little Hattrem to practice punching is the funniest and cutest thing I've ever thought of LMAO

Just for anyone who cares to read this: hi! I know I was hyping up the first four pages and it’s just the introduction. Trust me, I know.

It will get at least marginally more interesting in the next cluster of panels, and after that, the plot- and the “Pokémon” part of the Pokémon series- is actually going to begin. Rest assured, I have a plan.

If you have any critiques about the art or the dialogue or anything like that, feel free to let me know! I’m still new to comics so I’d love to hear your feedback.
