Plumbing is an issue which you should always consider while living in your home. Even though you do not need to remember your favorite plumber in New York, you should trust them to fix your major plumbing problems. These issues can happen at any time, without any big warning.

There was also 1900 Special Services, which smoothed its own path to illicit gun permits by bribing an NYPD employee with cash and a color TV. Hoping to demonstrate the need for its business, the company also burglarized its own clients. Before long, the company’s headquarters was in large part outfitted with goods stolen from clients, including glassware, batteries, light bulbs, and plumbing supplies. One score involved stealing, per the testimony of a former employee, as much as three quarters of a million dollars’ worth of prescription drugs from a warehouse it guarded. But the company orchestrated its most daring stunt on May 20, 1980, when some of its workers zoomed down a Brooklyn highway in pursuit of a fuel tanker owned by a client, Sunmark Corporation. Once they pulled alongside the truck, the guards shot and struck its frame, forced it off the road, and hijacked it. The state’s 1983 report determined that, had the bullets struck the tanker itself, the entire thing would have exploded. It concluded with an urgent call for regulation: “The answer to the question, ‘Who is to guard the guards themselves?’ cannot be permitted to remain, as it is currently, ‘No one.’ ” (An oversight agency did exist at the time, but it employed just fifty-two investigators, who were tasked with overseeing not only guards but also private investigators, real estate brokers, hairdressers, and cosmetologists.)
Market efficiency, love to see it

By The Numbers (Pt. 1)
Luigi hoped to use one of his own special talents to give the Super Mario Bros. Plumbing company the leg-up it needed to succeed. But as usual, for all his good intentions, the younger of The Mario Brothers finds himself in over his head.
Part two: X Part three: X
Also available on Ao3: https://archiveofourown.org/works/52624285
______________
When Luigi heard his brother’s gentle breaths fall away into a low snoring, he slipped out of bed and tiptoed to the closet, where his black vest, collared shirt, pleated pants, and green bow tie were folded together on a low shelf. He was glad he’d the forethought to gather everything beforehand. It was hard enough navigating his room in the dark, clumsy as he was. He hated to think what it’d be like trying to find everything piecemeal without waking anyone.
All the sports equipment and copper pipes left strewn about the floor didn't help in the slightest. By some miracle Luigi stumbled only once, bumping his shoulder painfully against his dresser. He clamped a hand over his mouth and nose to stifle a yelp, and waited with held breath to see if he’d given himself away. The mishap only elicited a small snort from Mario, who – after mumbling something under his breath– rolled over and fell right back to sleep.
Luigi let out a long sigh of relief, and after tucking his bowtie and a hair comb into his pocket he tugged on his striped socks, laced up his shoes, and plopped his bright green cap onto his head. The newsboy cap with the bright green “L” was identical to the one he wore as a child. Mario had a matching one, firetruck red and emblazoned with an “M.” Mario had insisted it be part of the uniform of their budding plumbing business, and their mother was ecstatic to put the hats together. “Budding,” as if their business had even a seed to sprout from. Quitting The Wrecking Crew felt amazing. Stepping back and realizing how much money it took to start a business of their own? That was far less pleasant. Luigi had three hundred dollars in his pocket, two hundred in his checking account, four thousand in savings. It was a fine amount for a man in his early twenties who worked a blue collar job. But even with Mario’s funds added on, plus all the tools and materials he’d gathered from his apprenticeship while working at The Wrecking Crew, there was no way they could get a business off the ground in a place like Brooklyn. If they only had a couple extra thousand… get a proper work van, some more tools, a bit of advertising… then they would stand a chance. Wearing the cap, he felt, would be good luck, and after giving the brim one more self-assuring tug, Luigi carefully opened the bedroom window and slipped out, shakily navigating his way to the fire escape, and creeping along the creaking metal to the pavement below.
He couldn’t believe he was doing this. He had planned it, researched it, and thought about it constantly, but he couldn’t believe he was actually going through with it. This felt like the kind of crazy scheme Mario would come up with. Anyone else would assume this was something Mario had talked him into, but no, this was all him... one hundred percent Luigi. Maybe his brother was finally rubbing off on him. Luigi hoped so. If their dream was going to be realized, then they both needed to be a little reckless.
On his way to the subway station Luigi stopped once to look in the reflection of a shop window, where he brushed his mustache and put on his bowtie. That was the last moment of true clarity he had during his journey, which quickly descended into an anxious blur of dimly lit tunnels, rumbling trains, and crowded streets as he shifted like a man possessed to the nearest Casino, already echoing with the hustle and bustle of Saturday night.
Luigi paused at the door. He loosened his bowtie to try and swallowed away the lump growing in his throat. He whispered one more quiet “I can’t believe I’m doing this,” then forced himself to step through the glimmering doors into the mayhem.
Walking through the maze of bells, music, muddled conversation, cheers, shouts, and blinking lights, he fully realized just how unaccustomed he was to being without his brother. Mario always entered unfamiliar situations like this with boldness, friendly and confident, as though he had every life experience under his belt. When Mario was around everything came easy to Luigi, there was not a single worry about how he looked, what steps to take, where to go, or what was the right thing to say or do, he simply walked in step with Mario and everything worked out in the end. Every now and then Luigi glanced around for his brother in the half second it took for him to remember that he had come here alone. In these instances he took a deep breath, counted the colors in the room, and rubbed the tops of his hands, putting into practice every little trick he had learned to ground himself when his breath and heartbeat began to outpace him. It was okay. He was okay. He could do this. His eyes were lowered and his hands were curled protectively to his chest when he found the cashier counter. Shakily, he asked to sign up for the next cash game, and exchanged the three hundred in his pocket for plastic chips. He asked where the poker tables were, and was directed to a room adjacent to the main corridor of the casino. It was only when all was in place, and all of his competitors were dealt their hand, that Luigi was at long last able to get comfortable. He didn’t chat, he didn’t drink, he simply stared at his cards, and allowed himself to become completely engrossed in the game.
He didn’t even realize that “counting cards'' was a term when he first learned to play poker. Although, as opposed to blackjack, the method was perfectly legal, and far from uncommon. It was merely deduction and strategy, focused on probability and numbers, and Luigi had always had a head for numbers.
He’d played regularly as a teenager… wiped the floor with the competition to the point that none of his peers would take him on. Recently he brushed up with a few rounds online, and though he was at that time too uncertain of his skills to risk any real money, he discovered he was still good at it. Really, really good at it.
His biggest worry was his poker face. He was never known for his ability to keep his emotions hidden, no matter the stakes, and yet poker proved to be an unexpected outlier. In the thick of the game his mind didn’t register victory and loss, the fine line between financial ruin and easy street, or much of anything at all. It was all just numbers: multiplication, calculation, and probability, completely detached from his heart. No matter what card he drew or discarded, his expression remained unchanging.
Of course, a perfect poker face couldn't change the luck of the draw. At the start the cards weren’t in his favor, and Luigi found himself folding early for a couple of rounds. He narrowly kept himself from going into the negatives, but to his relief his fortune turned around after the first two hours. It was only after the fifth hour of playing that he was finally knocked out of his numeric stupor. His eyes drifted down from the cards in his hands to the mound of chips in front of him. Actually taking the time to register how many there were in total, his heart skipped a beat. He was barely able to keep it together as he closed out the round with a win, making it through with a straight flush, his highest card only barely beating that of his closest competitor. He startled even the dealer as he broke his five hours of perfect silence with an elated laugh, and gathered his mound of chips to himself. “Wowie zowie! Ha ha! I… I can’t believe it!! Look at all this!” His sentiment was genuine, but he only realized how condescending he sounded after the words left his mouth, especially considering where his newfound wealth had come from. His unease worsened when he got a better look at the faces of the other players, their expressions ranging from somber resignation to boiling resentment. From there, Lu kept the brim of his hat tugged anxiously over his eyes while the dealer exchanged his hoard of low-value chips to a handful of high value chips that he could easily transport to the cashier, which Luigi did immediately, handing his dealer a tip before scurrying away.
His heart battered against his ribcage like a tiny bird, light as air and racing with so much excitement it was almost painful. He received the payout, and hurried straight to the Casino ATM, where he put every cent into his checking account.
It took everything in him not to skip when he returned to the subway station, though he couldn’t help but hum a cheerful tune as he descended the stairwell into the underground.
An old analogue clock hanging from the sticky stone walls showed it was half past four in the morning. A few commuters were scattered through the subway, creating a scene that was eerily quiet and dreary compared to flashing opulence of the casino, but the familiarity did Luigi’s heart good. Still humming, he leaned against a pillar, not even minding how unsanitary it probably was in his exhaustion as he drowsily waited for his train. He was confident that he would make it home in time to change into his pajamas and climb into bed before anyone could figure out what had been done. His mother, being a very early riser, was the biggest cause for concern, but she rarely woke before six a.m on Sundays. If his luck continued at this rate, he wouldn’t have to clamor up the fire escape, and could instead get the spare key from the potted plant and slip quietly through the front door. “There you are!” A stranger’s voice pulled Luigi from his thoughts, a shrill squeak leaving his throat as a heavy hand slammed down on his shoulder. Luigi turned to lock eyes with a heavyset man, nearly a foot taller than he, clean shaven and well dressed.
“Hi?” Luigi looked the individual up and down, struggling to put a name to the face. After a long moment of uncomfortable silence between them, he ventured to ask, “...do I know you?” “Forgotten already? We met only a few hours ago.” The voice was gruff. It feigned friendliness, but the malice was unmistakable, especially when paired with the ever-tightening grip on Luigi’s shoulder. “...Oh.” Luigi tried to pull away, but to no avail. “Heh, uh… s-sorry.”
“Are you?”
Luigi shuddered, the stranger’s tone ringing every alarm bell. He took hold of the wrist in an attempt to ease the mounting pressure, and looked around in hopes of spotting someone who could help him. There were some commuters further down the tunnel, faces illuminated by their phones, earbuds in. There was no telling if they’d lend any aid, even if they weren’t distracted. It was the Brooklyn Subway, after all. Everyone knew to mind their own business in New York. Looking back toward the confrontational stranger, Luigi let out another startled cry when he saw he was suddenly joined by three more men, all without an ounce of sympathy in their eyes.
“What’s going on?!” The question was met with silence, causing Luigi's mind to race. At long last, he remembered the man who held him. He recognized a pretty golden lapel pin he had admired in the split second before he was reabsorbed into one of the many poker games he had played that night. The others, he couldn’t figure out for the life of him. Did he forget their faces over the five hours he had played? Or were they uninvolved friends? Before he could ask anything else, he felt himself being dragged away, the offending grip now joined by a second hand clamped over his mouth.
“Let’s talk.”
Luigi let out muffled protests, struggling in vain as each of the men took hold of him, and began to usher him down a darker, emptier subway tunnel, where they could speak freely without fear of interruption.

Do you have some headcanons of Daisy's and Luigi's love languages they display in the relationship?
Oh man, you know what? You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for an ask like this since…well, Ever! I LOVE these kind of things! I had to do a quick research to brush up on what Love Languages are again. So I took inspiration from some templates I found online. Sprinkled in with a little bit of the Movie-Verse Headcanons.
I guess this is a potential Part 1 of Luaisy headcanons? All because I’m unfortunately not able to list them all as of now!
But, Here we go! Hope you enjoy. Sorry if this ends up being a super long one though, haha.
- Acts of Service -
💚 Luigi would be more than happy and willing to tend to any Plumbing relate problems Daisy has. This is one of the only few times where even if he doesn’t even know the full situation of the problem, he never says no to her needing help, and dives head first without hesitation…
• Even if it means literally diving into that now rising flooding castle basement of hers, just to locate and fix that pesky broken pipe system!
🌼 💚 Cooking for each other. Unlike when I think Peach lovingly does most, if not all of the cooking for Mario. Cooking seems to become a thing divided equally between Luigi and Daisy.
• Luigi is known to be the best at Dinners. Some of his experience gained from helping his Mama back in Brooklyn growing up. And helping Mario cook too. One of his favorite meals he always loves to share with Daisy on occasion, is his mother’s classic Pasta recipes!
🌼 Plumbing can be real exhausting work sometimes! So Daisy is usually the one to fix up some either some real ice-cool drinks to personably bring to him in sweltering heat. Or Make him some hot cocoa or coffee for the really cold days. She’ll even bring some snacks, or even lunch if it’s almost time for a break.
🌼 Whenever she can be there, Daisy would always sit around and keep Luigi company while he worked. Also for the fact so she can pass him tools that he might need during work. Or even better, hold the fort as best as she can to prevent little mishaps that may occur. Need someone to hit a pipe to get it working? Need an extra set of strength to turn that creaky faucet? Trust Daisy to help out too!
- Physical Touch -
💚 Luigi is so, so, SO gentle with Daisy. Not in a way where he believes that she is perceived to be ‘Delicate’. He has faith that she can handle herself of course! But that’s just simply in his nature with everyone else too. Very little to no aggressive or intimidating body language. And with her? It’s just extra sweet.
• He knows she’s strong. But he can’t help but be the one to look out for her and be worried for her sometimes. When he sees her all scuffed up from fights, he offers to bring her water, ointment, bandages, whatever she requests. At first he allows her to try and heal herself. But If Daisy needs more help, he would step in to help tend to her wounds as much as possible.
💚 Luigi was is the most nervous and hesitant in initiating any form of touch at first. He didn’t want to make the wrong moves or anything! But upon the first hug and some vocal encouragement, it was a sign for him that he is on the right track.
He slowly gets more confident in holding hands with her, having an arm around her waist (Although, he can’t help but melt a little at the fact that he could be THIS close to someone he loves!)
💚 Kisses on his nose get’s him all smiley right away! Daisy ends up doing these out of surprise, and it just gets him so much. Kiss him on the cheek? Instantly giddy. She kisses him on the lips? Immediate knockout. He’s giving the Heart-eyes vibe. This is Something he shares in common with his bro too!
💚 When Luigi sees Daisy on the verge of lashing out at someone. He’s the first to quietly take her hand in his to gently squeeze it. This either gets her to look at him, which he gives a nod and look of reassurance for her to think things through. Or it’s almost like an instant touch that needs no words nor looks. But it has an instant affect on her. She rarely gets directly angry at him ever. How can she be mad at someone just so sweet to her? She knows he genuinely wants to help her.
• Sometimes he chooses to gently rub her hands instead. Also an equally effective calming effect.
💚 If Daisy ever feels down or at her worst, he more than welcomes her with open arms, and does not ever judge her for crying (something she rarely ever shows in public. Always putting a strong face.) It matters very little to him in the moment that his hat or clothes would be tear-soaked.
💚 Speaking on the note of a Sad Daisy. There are a few trigger moments which if you end up hurting Daisy, can make this sweet and timid Greed Plumber, decide that enough is enough. There is a reason why his Trope is known as a ‘Cowardly Lion’!
💚 He will try to place himself in front of her always. Whether it is him jumping in front of her to take whatever brunt of force was directed at her without thinking. Or steeling himself up to give stare down (albeit with quaking knees) in front of his enemy.
He starts of with a slight quiver in his voice. But if you continue to mock him or her a second time, the shakiness in his tone fades. Becoming a bit more determined. A quiet strength. At that point, he will not allow you to push him around and insult Daisy like that. Even if he might get knocked around a bit, he keeps getting back up, just to stand up for her.
💚 He’ll even try to use his hat at some points if he needs to cover her face more for protection.
💚 For some reason I feel like instead of usually carrying a Princess Bridal-style like Mario does. Luigi tends to carry Daisy on his back more. This often leads to escaping from some very comical situations!
🌼 Daisy is DEFINITELY the one who is not shy in expressing her affections naturally. But also really straightforward in her actions.
🌼 Ever experienced one of those surprise Run-at-top-speed Jump hugs? That’s Daisy for you! She often forgets to tone herself down sometimes.
🌼 Pulling him by the suspenders of his overalls gently just to kiss him.
🌼 She’s the one ending up carrying him like a bride instead HA
🌼 Like Luigi, Daisy is always one to step in front of her beloved to shield them from any potential danger. She is usually the one to Yank him out of the way with top speed (Apologizing immediately to him afterwards!) and pull him close to her body to try and cover and protect him as much as possible.
🌼 You would not be able to live it down if Daisy sees you harming or insulting Luigi. She is super quick on to you, ready to throw hands (And weapons, if in a fight)
🌼 She and Mario share the same kind of sentiments when it comes to standing up for Luigi.
“Say that again about my Boyfriend…And you’re gonna regret it!”
- Words of Affirmation -
🌼 Daisy is the one with the vast supply of pet names and complements!
🌼 The Iconic “Hey Sweetie!”
🌼 Buttercup, Honey-Bee, Weegie, Squeegie ect
🌼 If you don’t stop her, she may resort to floral Puns!
🌼 When it comes to support, she is like a really passionate cheerleader. You would definitely see her yelling her heart out at the sidelines of any event/competition/Kart race
🌼 When she writes notes or letters, Daisy tends to be the one who draws little doodles at the end of each letter, or just as little decorations here and there. Mario may or may not have accidentally revealed that he had caught Luigi chuckling at a letter he received from Daisy. Only to be told by his younger Bro that he found her drawings adorable and it made him smile. So she’s been doing that ever since!
💚 Luigi is a bit more reserved with this type of thing. But in fact, he is secretly the more poetic one! Surprisingly The type who’s words of love end up being a natural Cupid’s arrow.
💚 I see ‘Desert Flower’ as a popular head canon compliment he might say, and I also agree with that!
💚 Why do I feel like he would totally be the one to call her “My Dynamite Gal”??? When he’s mustered up so much confidence??
• Because Luigi is known to be more shy and timid, he does have more struggles with confidence in some parts. Leading to this possible little interaction:
—————————————————
💚 “ Face it…How can I even do this? I’m such a loser! I mean, look! I literally got a huge L on my head!”
🌼 “…Does It really have to mean Loser?”
💚 “H-huh? I-I…well what else can it be?”
🌼 “Well…put it this way. You’re kinda like a Clover!”
💚 “A…Clover?”
🌼 “Yeah! You ward off evil. You’re green all over. So How about…Lucky?”
—————————————————
- Quality Time -
💚 Luigi ends up loving taking strolls around the castle with Daisy. Whether it is in the Palace Gardens, or by lakes and rivers. Even Flower fields, where he’ll even attentively listen to her pointing out the new things.
💚 Luigi May end up getting challenged when he goes out on hiking trips with Daisy. The first few trips, he ends up faltering behind a little (He has bad knees everyone!), But Daisy would often slow her pace down a little so he can keep up. She doesn’t mind one bit. But overtime, he pushes to improve himself, in which he now is actually able to keep up by her side. She’s extremely proud of him
💚🌼 The Camping trips together are always fun though! Well, excluding some Minor scares and freak outs from the local wildlife at night. Luigi Teaching Daisy the classic treat of making a S’more. While Daisy would do something shared from her own land sometimes!
🌼 Daisy loves whenever she and Luigi get to go on one of their ‘Sports dates’, and is usually the one initiating these meetups (Knows all the good places!) while Luigi throws in suggestions. Usually consisting of Golfing especially. She is more knowledgeable in the technique, which she ends up teaching Luigi what she already knows. She likes to jokingly say that he’s “Learning from the best!”
🌼 If they end up moving in together and sharing the same bed, Daisy would be the type to wake up a bit earlier than Luigi does. Then goes back again to get some extra sleep hours. She has this little habit where she can’t help but give a little kiss on his cheek by then. If he continues to sleep, she lets him be. But if he ends up wanting to be woken up by this, she starts to go in for more kisses. Some of them are quick ticklish to him!
All until she’s gazing back at sleepy half-open eyes, A lopsided smile, and a very happy green Plumber who’s morning has just been made even better!
💚 On Luigi’s part, he’s the one who sleeps the last. Letting Daisy sleep first before him, as he sometimes has a bit of work he needs to attend to. Or just simply reading a few pages of his favourite book beside her.
• When he notices a lock of her hair astray on her face, he ends up brushing it aside for her. In that moment, he seriously cannot believe that this beautiful fiery woman is his beloved, and is right next to him.
- Receiving Gifts -
💚 It is a popular head canon going around that Daisy is very into gardening. So, Luigi would even go out of his way to brush up on said topics about Gardening and nature just for Daisy. Same thing that he would do when it comes to her other interests, just so he knows what to get her!
💚 He has really great callback memory, in which he is able to remember most of the conversations he would have with Daisy when she talks about various plants. Including seeds and flora she wishes she could obtain to grow in her castle Garden. So! Every often, he would visit the local markets or shops in the town, where he would check up all the latest imports/exports to see if he can find some uncommon, or even rare seeds for him to collect for her. If it’s something from Brooklyn, he most likely tries to buy seeds of flowers for her smaller pot plants!
If he goes on adventures with Mario, he does something similar where he collects various trinkets or souvenirs for him to take home for her, or send to her by mail.
🌼 Daisy is definitely more extravagant, and a bit more ‘flashy’ when it comes to gift giving. She does not do this to show off. She 100% fully believes that her believed deserves the best he can get…Even if it ends up giving him the biggest of blushes. And just so happens she can’t stop gushing about it either in her own way!
🌼 Actually at first, she might have been giving him ‘Weird’ gifts for the first few times when they became a couple. They’re not offensive gifts! But they were a result of her having misunderstood some of his hobbies and likes at the beginning. But never in bad faith, as she genuinely tried to guess what would make Luigi happy. But luckily with help from Peach and Mario, she got good results. And long the way, she started getting better at gift-giving.
🌼 I mean, have you seen that Golden statue of her and Luigi in her own Mario Kart Course? If she was the one who commissioned that, she would totally go THAT far.
🌼 She would go on a secret calling spree, prepare a huge birthday with all of his favorite foods, invite literally all of his friends and family as a complete surprise. Making the Green man crying out of happiness.
🌼 Well, not exactly a traditional kind of gift. But just for him, Daisy would end up wearing cute dresses or other outfits. Something he likes. But that’s because we all can’t deny, Daisy is still Daisy. She still loves to tease Luigi one way or another.
Green Bro may have been staring a little too long, as the Princess walks by in a tank-top and shorts combo!

A/N: Thank you everyone for the likes of my previous chapter. I really appreciate it! :) The next chapter will have a certain encounter in it *wink wink.* Don’t want to be giving it away now. Enjoy! :)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chapter 2
“Luigi and I had just started our plumbing company a couple of months ago,” Mario began his and Luigi’s story. Y/N gave Mario her full attention.
Mario continued, “It was a tough start because we previously worked at another company owned by Spike.”
“He’s uh…not the nicest person,” Luigi filled in.
Y/N nodded, “That’s too bad.”
“Yeah. He didn’t treat us well when we left him,” Mario explained, “he said that we were a joke and that we couldn’t make it basically. It’s frustrating when people doubt your ability to do anything.”
“That is disappointing when people don’t give you enough hope,” Y/N said expressing sadness.
“Our mom on the other hand was proud of us,” Luigi said with a grin.
Y/N smiled, “That’s good! At least she was happy for you two.”
“Yep!” Mario exclaimed, “Anyway, to continue, we got to see our commercial broadcast and not too long after seeing it, we got a call from a client. Turns out it was the same client whose house we went to earlier this evening.”
“Oh wow! You were able to go to a fancy house for your first job. That’s awesome!” Y/N said with glee.
“Yeah, we definitely hit the big times!” Luigi chimed in.
“So,” Mario started again, “we get inside the house and fix up a busted sink. However, we had some trouble thanks to their dog Francis.”
“Francis was very sensitive,” Luigi said. “I stepped on his bone by accident and then he caused us to have a whole ruckus in the bathroom where we were fixing up the sink.”
Y/N expressed worry, “Oh my…how awful.”
“Yeah, not fun, but we managed to pull through,” Mario said. “After that fiasco, we went to have dinner with the family and then our dad had to go and say something to bring me down.”
“He said Mario was bringing me down with him,” Luigi said sadly. “Of course, I tried cheering him up letting him know that he wasn’t bringing me down at all. I was happy to help him out with plumbing.”
“Aw! You two have such a wonderful brotherly bond,” Y/N commented. “That is awful what your dad said though.”
“We’ve always been there for each other,” Mario smiled to Luigi and turned back to Y/N. “Don’t worry, Dad eventually came around. Next thing that happened after that was there was a huge leak happening in downtown Brooklyn. I happened to be watching the news when seeing that story. I told Luigi this would be our chance to prove ourselves.
“We headed out towards downtown and there was water everywhere! The biggest flood we have ever seen. We saw the other workers trying to stop more water from coming out of the sewage system, but they weren’t getting to the source of it,” Mario said.
“We had to go into the sewage system,” Luigi shivered in disgust. “That was horrifying.”
“It was the only option we had,” Mario continued. “We went down, and we found the source of the problem.”
Mario and Luigi continued with their story talking about a green pipe leading them to another world. From there, they went into detail about meeting a princess, a turtle named Bowser, and mushroom people. They also talked about meeting a gorilla named Donkey Kong and making go-karts. Y/N took everything in and almost couldn’t believe what she was hearing. It almost sounded like a fictional story. Soon, Mario and Luigi concluded their story saying they were able to defeat Bowser with a power up called the SuperStar.
“Wow…that really happened?” Y/N asked a bit bewildered.
“Yeah, we became heroes,” Mario said happily.
“We even have the newspaper clipping talking about our heroic deeds,” Luigi said excitedly. “We could show it to you!”
“Sure, that would be cool to see,” Y/N said.
Luigi pulled out his phone and searched for a screenshot of the story mentioning him and Mario. When the picture was found, Luigi held his phone up to Y/N for her to see. The picture was black and white showing Mario, Luigi, a girl, a gorilla, and a mushroom man all which Y/N assumed to be the ones the brothers mentioned. Upon looking closely at the picture, she could see a jar with a creature in it.
“The jar in this picture, does that have…Bowser did you say was his name?” Y/N asked inspecting the jar.
“Oh yeah,” Mario said. “Peach had fed him a blue mushroom which shrunk him down in size. He’s a very tall turtle. Apparently, the turtles where Peach is from are called Koopas.”
“Huh…interesting,” Y/N commented. “So, he, Bowser, is just stuck being that size?”
“Yep,” Luigi answered. “Although, there is a catch to that.”
“What do you mean?” Y/N questioned.
“When someone uses a power up and they get hit by something or someone, they lose the power up,” Mario explained. “I learned that the hard way when training with Peach.”
“Oof, sounds brutal,” Y/N said cringing. “I can’t imagine being hit only to lose your power up especially if it’s a great power up.”
“Yeah, it’s not fun at all,” Mario said.
“You know, it is crazy to think that there are other worlds out there,” Y/N said. “Like, I’m someone who enjoys reading fiction and everything you described sounds too good to be true. The picture from the newspaper is proof that there are indeed other places.”
“It does sound very far-fetched,” Luigi agreed, understanding where Y/N was coming from. “It’s all true though.”
“It sounds like it would be a fun adventure book for children to read,” Y/N said. “Maybe you should write a story about your adventures.”
“Eh well, I don’t know about that,” Mario said. “We’re not really the writing type. Maybe you could write it for us. Of course, you would have to join us on the adventure to get in another perspective besides ours.”
“Hmm…I don’t know…” Y/N became a bit flustered. “I like writing, but I haven’t really attempted to write anything other than songs.”
“Oh! You like writing songs?” Luigi showed interest.
“Yeah, I do,” Y/N smiled. “I’m not a professional, but I’ve dabbled a bit in it here and there whenever I have a moment to spare.”
“You should show us sometime when you have a song written out,” Mario said.
“If I can get one out,” Y/N said a bit doubtful. “I really enjoy singing and have been doing it for as long as I can remember but writing my own songs…it can be a bit tricky. I don’t really have knowledge of playing instruments. I only learned piano and guitar for a short time and got overwhelmed because I was trying to practice those along with singing.
“Pretty sad I know,” Y/N said with her eyes downcast.
Luigi put his hand on Y/N’s shoulder, “Don’t feel bad about that. Being able to sing is great I bet!”
“Yeah,” Mario said, “Don’t let that get you down just because you can’t play instruments. You could still write a song. If you know anyone that would work with you and can play an instrument or two, you could end up bringing your song to life.”
Y/N smiled, comforted by the brothers and their encouragement, “Thank you. Aside from the people I know here who play instruments, I don’t know anyone. Honestly, I’m still getting to know the musicians here. They’re all nice, but I know they’re all very busy with their lives and I don’t think they would have much time for me.”
“Don’t know until you ask,” Mario said.
“That is true,” Y/N said getting the message from Mario. “Well…I can work on writing a song and bring it to one of the musicians here. Hopefully they wouldn’t mind working on it with me.”
“I don’t think they would mind,” Luigi said. “You seem like a nice person and I’m sure the people here would agree on that.”
“I know I would!” a cheery voice joined in.
Luigi and Mario turned to the source of the voice to see a girl with dark hair walk up to them. It was Maria.
“Y/N has been very sweet,” Maria said.
Y/N smiled, a bit flustered, “Thank you Maria. I appreciate that.”
“I’m only speaking truth,” Maria smiled. “I hate to say this, but we need to ask you two to leave now. Our restaurants technically closed now.”
“Already?” Y/N asked. “That last hour went by so fast.”
“Time does fly when you’re having fun,” Maria said.
“Very true,” Y/N agreed. She got up from her seat and the brothers followed suit. She turned to look at the brothers. “It was so nice meeting you two.”
“Likewise,” Mario and Luigi said at the same time.
“I hope we can meet again soon,” Y/N said with hope in her eyes.
“Me too,” Mario said, and Luigi nodded in agreement.
“I’ll walk you two out.” Y/N headed toward the door and opened it for Mario and Luigi. “Take care out there and be careful.”
Mario and Luigi exchanged smiles with Y/N and told her the same thing.
Y/N smiled and closed the door locking it. She then walked over to Maria to see what else needed to be tidied up before leaving for the night. The cleaning took a great deal of time, but with Maria helping and the kitchen staff helping, it felt like it was easy to get it done. After cleaning up, Y/N went to the locker room to pick up her bags and head out.
Maria, the kitchen staff, and Y/N all exited the restaurant through the employee entrance/exit area. They all waved their goodbyes to each other and went their separate ways. Y/N was extremely tired. Remembering what Maria said earlier about getting into her pjs and snuggling under the covers, she too was looking forward to that now more than ever.
Getting into her car, Y/N sat down in the driver’s seat and set her bags down in the passenger seat. She sighed tiredly. However, as she started her car for the drive home, she couldn’t stop thinking about everything that Mario and Luigi had talked with her about. How could such things exist? How could such events happen? She still had a hard time wrapping her mind around the idea, but it was so fascinating. It made her wish she could go into the world they mentioned.
However, they didn’t exactly tell her where this green pipe was that they found. She only knew it to be somewhere in the sewers and she had never seen a green pipe elsewhere in the city. She decided maybe it would be best not to think about that so much for now and just focus on getting home and getting some sleep. Maybe a small bite to eat too. She didn’t exactly get to eat her free meal she got for every shift she worked.
With her apartment building in sight, she happened to notice a yellow van. Upon closer inspection, she read the words, “Mario” and “Plumbing.” Wait a second…
“Mario and Luigi live in my apartment building? What a coincidence.” Y/N was surprised to learn that. It made her happy though that at least there were two people she knew in the building now. She just didn’t know what floor of course, but that was alright. She was sure she could learn that later.
Parking her car and getting out of it, Y/N grabbed her bags. She made her way to the building’s entrance, toward the elevator and began the ascent to her floor. After hitting the Floor 5 button, Y/N leaned against the walls of the elevator as it took her up. The weariness was getting to her fast. As soon as the elevator reached her floor and the doors opened, she stepped out and went to her apartment.
Fumbling for her keys, she unlocked the door, stepped inside, and dropped her bags right there. She sighed and began her nightly routine. After getting changed and grabbing a small bite to eat, she was finally ready for bed. She went to her bed, moved the sheets, and snuggled into it. As her head hit the pillow and her eyes closed, sleep took over quickly for her.

“We’ve made it home at last Sire!” Kamek said cheerfully.
“Finally! About time!” Bowser said.
What greeted the two was a castle made of stone with lava flowing on either side of it. The entrance had a head shaped like Bowser’s and it would open and close only on the king’s command. Kamek, still holding onto Bowser, slowed down his broom and landed on a balcony that was off to the far right of the castle with ease. He got off the broom and carried Bowser with him to get inside his room.
Kamek made his way out of the room and to his workshop. It was just down the hall from his room. The door of the workshop opened and Kamek set Bowser down on the floor. Kamek grabbed one of his spell books and flipped through a few pages.
“Ah, here’s that spell,” Kamek said as read over the contents. “Prizes and rises, bring this creature back to normal size.” He waved his wand and the red gem on top of it glowed. It shot out a red light around Bowser.
Bowser slowly got lifted into the air. His arms began to change shape along with his claws. His legs and feet did the same. Soon the rest of his body changed shape. When Bowser was set back down to the floor, he immediately could tell he was back to his normal size again since he towered over his wizard.
“I’m finally back,” Bowser smirked. “I’ll be better than ever this time around!”
“It’s good to have you back Sire,” Kamek said happily.
“It’s good to be back.” Bowser walked out of the workshop. “I’ll inform you of my plans first thing in the morning.”
“Yes, Sire,” Kamek replied. “Sleep well.”
Bowser began the walk to his room. He smiled, relieved to be home and normal size. He wanted to do something a little different to try and woo the princess’s heart. He had sung his heart out on the piano about her, but he thought if he worked on the song some more, it could win her over. Afterall, he could play and sing which were nice talents to have. He wanted to serenade her with the most heartfelt song. It may take some time to work on, but he figured he could do it.
He finally reached his room and a king-sized bed along with his fireplace and balcony greeted him. Bowser crashed onto his bed with a long and relieved sigh. It felt good to be back in his home and in his bed. No more sleeping on the uncomfortable cage floor. Finally, something soft for his tired body and fluffy pillow for his head. He closed his eyes and hoped that he would dream of his precious Peaches.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The dawn greeted the citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom by spreading its light through every window of every home. Princess Peach woke up to the sunlight hitting her face. Thankfully, she was able to get some sleep after that horrendous dream. She got up out of her plush pink bed and stretched her limbs. Changing out of her nightgown, she changed into her usual pink dress and walked out of her room.
“Good morning, Princess,” a couple of mushroom guards greeted her.
“Good morning,” she smiled back at them.
Peach made her way down the corridor and into the dining room. The fresh scent of oatmeal hit her nose. She was delighted to be greeted with such an aroma. Fresh fruit also awaited her. She took her seat. ‘Where is Toad?’ were her thoughts. She had invited him to join her for breakfast this morning.
“Morning Princess!” An excited voice called out.
Peach turned to the source of the voice. “Toad! Good morning! You made it just on time!”
Toad had become a very good friend of Peach. He was always willing to help and be there for her as much as possible. Toad in return enjoyed his friendship the with princess. He admired her for how brave she was and how kind she was to everyone in the kingdom.
“Mmm…the food smells so good!” Toad said excitedly.
Peach laughed. “Go on and dig in.”
“Ladies first,” Toad replied.
She chuckled, “Alright.” She took a bite of the oatmeal with a smile on her face. “The chefs always do such a great job.”
“Yes, they do,” he agreed.
“I wanted to tell you,” Peach started. “I would like to invite Mario and Luigi here for a visit. We haven’t seen them in a while, and I think it would be nice to have some quality time together.”
“That sounds great!” Toad grinned. “By the way, this oatmeal is…” He put his hand to his mouth imitating a chef’s kiss.
“I know we have been to their place once and they showed us where they lived, but would you like to accompany me?” Peach asked.
“Of course, I would!” Toad exclaimed.
“Great, we’ll finish up our breakfast and head into their place,” Peach smiled.
“Sounds good!” Toad said as he took another bite of his oatmeal.
The princess and Toad finished their breakfast and soon began the long trek from the castle to the green warp pipe that would bring them to Mario and Luigi’s world. The walk was nice and the two chatted about various topics. Reaching the green warp pipe, the two stacked up some mushrooms to bounce from and into the pipe.
They were then welcomed by all kinds of colors and other green pipes that lead to various places. It was always neat to Peach to see all the colors swirling around as she traveled. Toad too was impressed by the various colors. Nearing the end of the pipe, they both landed in the sewers that Mario and Luigi had shown them before. Peach dusted off her dress and helped Toad stand up. He had gotten knocked over.
“Thanks,” Toad said.
Peach nodded and looked for the ladders they had used last time. “There they are!” She pointed them out.
The two began to climb up the ladders. It took some time, but they finally reached the sewar cover. They both worked together to push the cover off. They climbed out and both breathed in the fresh air.
“Those sewers sure are nasty smelling,” Toad commented.
“Yeah, not pleasant,” Peach agreed. “Now…I believe it’s this way that we go to reach their home.” Peach pointed in a northward direction.
“I think so,” Toad said. “Let’s try it.”
The princess and Toad continued onward while getting a few glances here and there from people. Some of them waved and some of them looked bewildered but didn’t say anything. After a while, they finally reached the building and spotted the yellow van they had been shown before too.
“This place sure is big,” Toad said. “I think it might be fun to really explore this area sometime.”
“We should. Get to know their place and all,” Peach agreed.
The two entered the apartment building and went toward the elevator. The doors were already open, and they stepped inside. Peach looked at the buttons in front of her. “Hmm…I think it was number 5?”
“I think so too. I don’t remember going too far up into the building,” Toad said.
“Let’s go with it then,” Peach said as she pushed the number 5 button.
The elevator whirred and took them up to the fifth floor. When the doors opened, they stepped out and looked in the hallway of the various doors lined up on either side of them.
“Now there’s one problem…which one belongs to them?” Peach asked.
Toad sighed. “Oh boy, this could take some time. There’s a lot of doors.”
“Want to split up the doors?” Peach asked.
“Sure. That would be a good idea,” Toad agreed.
“I’ll take right and you take left,” Peach planned out.
“Got it,” Toad understood.
The two began to knock on the doors one by one. They were greeted by confused, scared, or angry people for being disturbed. It was terrifying for them to be yelled at so loudly. Finally, there were two doors left.
“One of these has got to be it,” Peach said as she knocked on her door and Toad followed suit knocking on his door.
Y/N had been sleeping when suddenly knocking came to her door. She got up and stretched her limbs. She had been having a pleasant dream about eating giant chocolates and wished to go back to it. Another time perhaps.
“Coming!” She croaked out. She went to her closet and reached for her silk robe. Wrapping it around her waist, she walked toward her door. When she opened it, she was not expecting to be greeted by a girl dressed in a pink dress.
“Uh…can I help you?” Y/N asked surprised.
“Oh, I’m sorry, this isn’t the right apartment,” the girl responded.
“It’s okay-“Before Y/N could finish, the door across from her place opened and two very familiar faces greeted her.
“Found them!” a mushroom man said excitedly.
Y/N looked at all of them. “Uh…good morning, Mario and Luigi.” She then looked at all of them again. Wasn’t this girl and the mushroom man the same ones the brothers talked about last night?
“Morning Y/N,” Mario replied. “Didn’t expect to see you again so soon.”
“Me neither,” Y/N replied. She looked at the girl and mushroom. “Aren’t you two…”
Luigi chimed in, “This is Toad and that is Princess Peach.”
“Ah! It is you two!” Y/N exclaimed.
“How about we all get out of the hallway, and we can talk more inside,” Mario suggested.
“That would be a good idea,” Y/N agreed. “Uh…is it alright for me to come into your place or do you all want to come into mine?”
“We can all fit in our place,” Mario replied.
Y/N, Toad, and Peach all went inside Mario and Luigi’s place. Y/N felt a bit awkward considering she was still in her pjs. Then again, Mario and Luigi weren’t exactly dressed up for visitors either. Both were wearing red and green pjs.
“This was an unexpected surprise,” Mario said.
“Yeah, what a wakeup call,” Luigi said.
“Well, we thought it would be fun to surprise you two,” Peach said.
“Oh, by the way, this is Y/N. Y/N, this is Peach and Toad,” Mario said introducing the three of them.
“Y/N, it is nice to meet you,” Peach said politely.
“It’s nice to meet you as well,” Y/N returned.
“Y/N huh? Pleased to meet ’cha!” Toad exclaimed.
Y/N giggled, “Nice to meet you too.”
“Now that we know who you are,” Peach began, “how is it you know Mario and Luigi?”
Y/N looked at Peach, “Well, we just met last night at the bar I work at. They were telling me all about their adventures and about you two. It was all very fascinating.”
“I see,” Peach said. “What exactly is a bar? Can you tell me that?
“Oh! Sure, I guess those aren’t in your world, are they?” Y/N asked.
“Not really…” Peach answered awkwardly.
“Well, a bar is where they serve alcoholic drinks. They do limit the number of drinks one can have, especially if someone is getting very high. That’s where the bouncer comes in and gets that person out of the bar. Thus far, I haven’t encountered that,” Y/N explained.
“Hmm…how many drinks are there?” Toad asked.
“I’m not sure…I’m still memorizing some of the menu to be honest. I’ve only been there for a week,” Y/N replied.
Y/N continued explaining more about what she did at the Heart and Soul Karaoke Bar. Peach and Toad were quite intrigued to say the least. They asked more questions while Mario and Luigi got a few good laughs out of Peach and Toad’s reactions to some of Y/N’s answers.
“Well, I have to say that your world is very interesting,” Peach said. “We definitely need to explore more parts of it.”
“Yep!” Toad agreed. “It’s cool that you can sing too Y/N.”
Y/N blushed, “Thank you.”
“I did want to ask if you two would like to come back to our place,” Peach started. “However, since there’s another person here who knows about us and everything, how about we invite her along?”
Y/N was surprised, “W-Wait a minute. We barely know each other at all, and you want me to come with all of you to your world?”
“Well why not? After all, you said you found their world interesting,” Mario said.
“Yeah, that’s true,” Y/N said.
“I don’t mind showing you around the place. I think you would like it,” Peach replied.
Y/N knew this would give her a chance at an adventure. Mario and Luigi already gave her so much detail and getting to know them along with Peach and Toad wouldn’t be so bad. Making new friends would be very nice. “Okay, I’ll come along if you really don’t mind.”
“Not at all,” Peach smiled.
“Thank you,” Y/N expressed gratefully. “Um…before we go…I really would like to change clothes. I don’t exactly want to go there in my pjs as comfortable as they are.” She chuckled.
Everyone laughed with Y/N and then Peach said, “Understandable. Toad and I will wait out in the hallway for all of you.”
“Thanks,” Y/N, Mario, and Luigi replied.
Y/N walked out of the brother’s apartment and back into hers. She quickly put together an outfit not wanting to keep everyone waiting on her for too long. She grabbed a pair of jeans and a short sleeved (favorite color) t-shirt with flower patterns all over it. She also decided to wear some (favorite color) converse shoes. She made quick work in brushing her teeth and putting her hair up into a ponytail. Satisfied with her appearance, she walked out of the apartment where everyone was waiting for her.
“Let’s go!” Y/N said with excitement. ‘I can’t believe I get to do this with them! Good thing I don’t have work today either.’ She smiled to herself, looking forward to what awaited her.

Bowser had just finished his breakfast when he asked Kamek to meet with him in the meeting room. He was sitting in a chair and began tapping the table in front of him with one clawed hand. The other hand rested under his chin with his arm propped up. He sighed. He wasn’t very patient when it came to matters of the heart. What was taking Kamek so long? He wanted to get going on this soon!
Kamek opened the doors to the meeting room, “Sorry for keeping you waiting Sire.”
Bowser grumbled, “Now that you’re finally here, I want to discuss my next plan of action for wooing Peaches.”
“I’m all ears,” Kamek replied giving his King his full attention.
“Here’s what I want to do,” Bowser began. “I want to serenade Peaches with my song.”
“Brilliant!” Kamek exclaimed.
“My song still needs more lyrics to it,” Bowser continued. “I would like for you to find a musician or singer and bring them to me. If I have someone else with me, I think the lyrics will come along smoothly and quickly.”
“That is a wonderful idea Sire! The princess is sure to love it!” Kamek was very optimistic about this plan.
“If the princess is not satisfied with my song, I’ll just lock her up in my prison until she learns to like my song and love me,” Bowser said.
“I’m sure I can find someone for you my King,” Kamek said. “I’ll scour throughout all of the kingdoms for you.”
“Good,” Bowser smirked. “This will be just perfect for my Peaches and then she has to fall in love with me when she hears everything my heart desires of her.” He laughed, very happy with his plan.

HI so im just gonna throw out a random idea and see if it sticks, cause i have Thoughts once again and i refuse to keep them to myself.
(also, this is long as hell, you have been warned.)
- - - - - - - - - - - - -
give me Mario and Luigi as a broken family. from the outside in they look almost perfect, the wacky brother duo who could do it all from princess saving to ghost hunting to plumbing.
Mario is the older brother, by 8 or so years, the extraverted and energetic hero who is always ready to go save the princess or lend a helping hand. he's the one who's got every situation under control, his confidence and happy demeanor bringing smiles to every toad around.
his younger brother Luigi, on the other hand, seems much more like an introverted homebody than anything else. he's the one staying behind when Mario goes on his big missions, helping to rebuild the Mushroom Kingdom after each kidnapping. he's the one doing most of the actual plumbing, his anxious and quiet personality keeping him distant from everyone. despite that, he's successfully faced off King Boo three separate times.
behind the outside facade, however, things aren't as shiny between the brothers as they may seem.
their upbringing in Brooklyn was rough. they spent most of their younger years homeless, and given their age gap, it was Mario who had to provide for Luigi in any way he could. that meant stealing food to eat, but also fighting those that wanted to harm them - and Luigi's trusting nature made it a common occurrence. it's due to this that Mario was forced to control both his and Luigi's life to the fullest, and this behaviour, born out of fear for their very lives, became so engrained in him that he never let it go even when they were finally safe after being transported to the mushroom kingdom.
for Luigi, this complete control from Mario meant that he was never really able to develop his own personality. he never went anywhere without Mario, never did anything without Mario; and while his brother liked to believe that he was keeping his baby brother safe in their little bubble, unknowing of the hardships they were facing, Luigi knew.
he only really noticed it when he started to attend school (after his brother learned a trade and managed to find a stable job). he saw it in the way the other children sneered at his worn clothes, heard it in the way they would whisper about him when they thought he couldn't hear. Luigi was never outright bullied, but he was definitely Othered by his peers, and coupling that with his brother's iron grip on everything he did, being unable to explore any part of himself, and the deep-seated paranoia that Mario let slip in any of their conversation messed with his head. it's how he became so anxious, so deeply afraid of everything around him, and how he ultimately ended up tying his worth as a person to his brother's existence. he was absolutely dependent on Mario.
when Luigi graduated, he learned the same trade his brother had, and worked at the same company as well. they continued this co-dependency for a few years; during one job they did together they were transported to the mushroom kingdom - Luigi in his early 20s and Mario approaching 30 - and they were taken in by Princess Peach.
they were offered a nice little house to live in, just outside the capital. their plumbing skills were helpful, as they quickly started to earn their keep. Mario especially became a well-liked figure among toads, being a master at hiding any negative emotion inside him to keep a calm and happy front. he made sure to be the one to gain every toad's favour, so that they wouldn't be forced out of the home they were given, and so that Luigi would, by pure association, never face any trouble here.
when the kidnappings started, Mario quickly became the mushroom kingdom's hero. his survival and fighting skills led to a quick rescue, and it paved the way for friendship between the Princess and the brothers (Peach being the first friend that Mario truly allowed Luigi to have, eventually extending that grace to Peach's cousin, Daisy).
Peach and Luigi's friendship had a slow beginning, with Luigi having close to no social skills or hobbies that they could talk about. but as she gained Mario's trust over time, he started allowing Luigi to be alone with her for short periods of time; and those were just what she needed to help him get to know himself.
it started with baking, and then later on cooking. sewing, piano, singing, painting - bit by bit she introduced the younger brother to various hobbies to help him find out what he liked to do. aside from these activities, the longer they spent together the deeper their friendship ran. Peach was a healing presence to be around, and Luigi proved himself to be a caring and immensely loyal friend to her.
their friendship also meant, however, that Luigi started insisting on joining Mario in his rescue missions, something Mario absolutely hated the thought of. it's too dangerous for you to go, he would say. she's my best friend, Mario, i can't take being left alone to worry.
Mario would always put his foot down in the end.
this power struggle between the two would only grow bigger and bigger. Luigi wanted more independence, to make his own decisions, and Mario always denied him, telling him that it was to keep him safe. arguments became more and more frequent, and they both became angrier at the other for their behaviour. it all came to a head when Luigi, furious at having been left behind again, left the house in the middle if the night following after his brother in an attempt to help with the rescue.
it took him much longer to traverse the plains towards the koopa kingdom than it did Mario; after all, he had never left Toad Town before, nor travelled this far on foot on only survival equipment. he did reach Bowser's castle eventually, finding a way to sneak in unseen. in the chaos that ensued within the castle, Luigi found a way to help his brother out but paid the price of being caught by him, too. it infuriated the older brother to no end.
the walk back to the mushroom kingdom was tense, and largely silent. Mario was refusing to look at anyone or even say a single word, only keeping a tight grip on Luigi's wrist as they walked. Luigi was deeply afraid of Mario's wrath in that moment, knowing he was in for it when they got back home. Peach tried to fill the silence somehow, keep both brothers distracted, but the older one stayed unreactive whereas any light conversation from the younger was short.
the two dropped the Princess off at the castle, and she watched pale and afraid as Mario dragged Luigi back to their home without so much as a goodbye.
the fight that started when the front door closed was the worst one yet. Mario was yelling, gesturing wildly as he reiterated the thongs he's told Luigi a million times over. his brother was trying to defend himself, for the first time truly trying to air out his grievances and get him to see his perspective. but Mario would barely let him get a word in, not even looking at him as he continued. it culminated in Mario telling Luigi in anger the very thing he had been afraid of his whole life: that he was to blame for what happened to them, that their hardships were his fault, that he was a burden to his brother.
it broke something inside of Luigi.
Mario continued screaming out every thought that came to his head, not noticing the way his brother had gone quiet, the way tears were rapidly streaming down his face. in fact, the older brother wouldn't notice it at all for the rest of the conversation, instead banishing his brother to his room to reflect on what he's done before leaving the house to cool off.
Luigi felt numb, and out of place. his brother had just told him he hated him (using different words) and then left him. it almost seemed like the walls were closing on him the longer he stayed in this room, suffocating him with every memory that existed here. it took him a few hours before he could move his stiff and tired body - but when he did it was dead of night, and Mario was still gone. the words he had said echoed through his head relentlessy. and as if he were on auto-pilot, he packed up a few sets of clothes, some non-perishables from the pantry, and whatever other thing his fried brain could think of. with only a short note, he left behind the life he knew.
Luigi ran away.
he didn't care to notice which way he went as he ran, all he wanted at that moment is to run as far away as possible and for as long as he could. he had to get away, no matter where the road took him. the road he had taken, however, was the one leading straight to the koopa kingdom; his brain having defaulted to the only familiar route it knew in the darkness.
and so the plumber found himself disheveled and dirty as he faced the koopa capital, having spent a night or two on unfamiliar roads with nightmares to boot. his eyes were bloodshot, dark circles under his eyes, and his body all kinds of exhausted.
he spent a few more nights camping just outside the town, during the day trying to get any odd job that would pay. he needed the money to afford a temporary stay and food, as his rations were depleting at a quicker rate than expected. it was hard to find those odd jobs, however, as no one seemed willing to trust a disheveled, dirty, unknown human who only appeared days ago. fair, he thought, not being able to really bring himself to care.
soldiers patrolling the border of the capital caught sight of him, and, after realizing he posed no threat, took pity on him. they brought him to the castle for an audience with the king, hoping that he may give this human a second chance at life that he so clearly needed.
when Luigi saw Bowser, he felt that familiar fear creep in. it lasted only for a single moment, as his brain decided to harshly remind him that Bowser was Mario's enemy, not his. and he couldn't take the Peach justification as he had left her behind without a second thought as well. so why should he care? it made no difference after all.
the plumber spoke to the king with utmost politeness, yet the numbness was easily recognizable by anyone who saw him. when Bowser, who evidently didn't see or remember him from the last rescue, questioned him, Luigi said he had nowhere to return to, no home to call his; that he was a plumber by trade looking for work anywhere it was available. Bowser offered him a deal: become the official castle plumber (and pick up some other skills along the way to be useful), and in exchange he would be given a staff bedroom and be fed 3 meals a day. Luigi accepted.
the first few weeks passed with no issue. the plumber did his work quietly and efficiently, staying respectful to any other caste staff and nodding to the King when they passed each other. one night, however, King Bowser found the plumber staring out at the rivers of lava in the dead of night, tears rolling down his cheeks and sniffling. when the koopa approached him, Luigi went back to that neutrality/apathy that Bowser was used to seeing from him; but their conversation, brief and guarded, brought out a tiny shred of understanding for the other. there was more to the man in green than the koopa had thought, and now he felt interest in getting to know him. Luigi, in turn, realized that Bowser may not be as monstrous or power hungry as he had heard before. the smallest of olive branches had been extended.
over the coming time, Bowser would be the one to make an effort for friendship/companionship. he would slowly start breaking down the walls that Luigi had built to protect himself from the world and his own thoughts. the process required a lot of patience, something Bowser struggles with, but seeing how Luigi treats him so normally, as if he were any other person and not a monster made it worth it.
meanwhile, Mario was going crazy in the mushroom kingdom. the first 2 days after their fight he had refused to enter Luigi's room, believing that he was in one of his moods and thats why he didn't respond to Mario's calls for food. by the third morning his anger had faded and worry set in. he knocked on his brother's door, gently calling to him that he wants to talk and apologize, and to come out and eat. when he received no reply, he opened the door himself to see the room empty, no sign of Luigi, his essentials packed and bed made. his blood ran cold as the realization swept in that his brother had run away.
in a panic, he ran to Peach's castle. when he found her, he barely got the words out of Luigi's disappearance before he had a panic attack, his head filling with self-loathing thoughts. he's not aware as he's taken to the infirmary and seen by the castle's doctor, and it takes him a while to come back down again. Peach is by his side the entire time, teary-eyed, as she watched over Mario and prayed for Luigi's safety.
for the first time in their lives, the brothers have been completely separated from one another. Mario spent his days in grief, staying in the castle, trying to break out every night to go find Luigi himself. Peach increased security around the castle, holding him back, saying that Mario would make no progress in the state he was in. she sent out several scout groups to search the entire kingdom for her friend, but the results stayed fruitless.
Luigi and Bowser's friendship deepens in the meantime. slowly but sure his walls start to come down, he showed more emotions, smiling and laughing just the smallest bit as he gets to know Bowser. he also met the King's son, Junior, whom he got along great with. things seemed to be looking up for him; he had found a new home, he was making new friends apart from the King as well, and the townspeople started welcoming him.
then, for the first time in a while, Bowser kidnapped Peach once more.
if truth be told, the day started like any other for Luigi. he was told by Kamek that Bowser was busy with his kingly duties, so he spent the morning helping the kitchen staff prep for lunch and then read a book in the library. by early afternoon, Junior had come looking for him to play a while, and after that Luigi went into the city for a small job or two, exchanging pleasantries with the citizens of the capital. by the time he was back in the castle, the day was over and the prince was asleep. he came across the King by complete accident, greeting him as he usually did when both he and Bowser froze at the heartbreaking cry of Luigi's name.
hesitantly looking up at the cage he hadn't seen before, he saw a person he thought he'd never see again. in that cage stood Peach, holding on tightly to the bars as she cried. Luigi's small whisper of Peachie...? told Bowser all he needed to know in that moment. when the plumber started walking towards the cage, picking up speed with every step and reaching for it, Bowser quietly opened and lowered the cage. he watched in shock and surprise as the Princess threw herself at the plumber, sobbing, and told him how worried she was about him, how glad she was that he was safe. it took him a moment to react, but when he did, Luigi broke down completely in her arms, both sinking to the ground in their embrace.
Kamek ended up leading them all to the study to talk it out. Luigi had clammed up again, refusing to talk to Bowser or Peach. Bowser put a gentle hand to Luigi's back; when he hesitantly looked up at the koopa, he saw no sign of betrayal, or hurt. just gentle concern, and a quiet promise of i'm here. he explained to them both the fight he had with Mario, how he had come to the koopa kingdom and how he found his place here. all Peach cared to know was if he was safe and happy. Luigi's affirmation of that had Bowser happier than he wanted to admit. out of that conversation also came the reason Bowser was kidnapping the princess in the first place; that being resources. the vulnerability of that conversation and Luigi's question of helping the koopa kingdom has Peach and Bowser agreeing to start peace negotiations.
as always, Mario came to rescue Peach. upon Luigi's insistence, she didn't tell Mario that his brother was there, and she did her best to try and get Luigi's perspective through his head - hoping that eventually the brothers could meet again and work out their issues. for now, she could only see her dear friend when negotiations were happening.
on the koopa end of things, that vulnerability from the conversation with peach paved the way for a deeper relationship between Bowser and Luigi. things developed slowly between them, as the plumber would need time before he can truly trust again, but the affection and the intentions were there. they were both happy to explore this new dynamic at a slow pace, both wanting to do right by the other. very fluffy.
when Luigi felt ready for it, he asked Daisy to tell his brother that he was well. he didn't want to reveal his location, or say anything else; but he was starting to heal, and a part of him missed his brother dearly, and so he figured letting him know hey, i'm okay, and when i'm ready for it i'll see you again was alright. when Daisy delivered the message per phone call, Mario was frantic to know more, but Peach and Daisy both talked him down. Mario was slowly starting to accept that he had to go at Luigi's pace, let him make his own decisions. it pained him, but he agreed. he told Daisy to tell Luigi that he was glad he was well, and that he would wait.
the response from his brother had Luigi in shambles for a day, one part happy that his brother was finally coming around and the other furious that it took him running away for it to happen. Bowser stayed beside him throughout that day, offering his comfort to his sweetheart.
and so, the years started passing. peace was signed between the two kingdoms, and small steps were taken every once in a while by the brothers to slowly repair their relationship. it started with the passing of messages through Daisy, and it would turn into letters updating the other on their lives. Mario told Luigi that he was with Peach, and in turn Luigi was honest about his relationship with Bowser (that one took Mario a while to process, but he was learning to let go of that need for control; Luigi told him he was happy and that's all that mattered).
the first time they meet in person again is a few years after their fight and the peace treaty. Peach and Mario made their way to the koopa kingdom on Luigi's invitation, and the reunion in the throne room was tense at first. Peach and Bowser both kept watch over the brothers, ready to step in at any moment.
the brothers themselves were frozen in place, staring at one another. it felt so foreign to stand in front of each other, after years apart and limited communication. Mario took the first steps, placing a hesitant hand to Luigi's cheek. when he responded to the soft call of his name, both brothers hugged each other tightly, crying openly and loudly. over the two days that he and Peach were in the koopa kingdom, that is all Mario and Luigi did - no words were exchanged between them, but they did not let go of the other, catching up on the lost affection.
it would take many more years for their relationship to become "normal" again. many arguments, periods of no contact, and apologies. they were both healing from a lifetime of hurt at their own paces, but ultimately they both made the effort to repair their relationship. when Mario and Peach married, Luigi was there as best man, and the same was said for Luigi and Bowser's wedding. Junior would eventually come to adore his uncle Mario, and his children would enjoy many vacations in the koopa kingdom with uncle Luigi. they both chose different paths for themselves, but what mattered most was that they both chose a path of love and healing, one that they could walk together in time.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - -
so that's it i guess. now that i've written it out, this turned into a whole ass fic idea when that wasn't the case originally, CLEARLY i don't know how to be concise. oh well.
if anyone wants to pick this up, feel free! just let me know if you do something with it because i wanna see the results of it :D

The Prophecy ~ one
y/n is now 20 the boys are 25
[10 years later]
In a pizzeria, two men stand watching a commercial for a plumbing company. When the commercial is over, they turn to each other
“Wow! You were great.” Mario said excitedly, looking at Luigi.
“I was great? Are you kidding me? YOU were great!” Luigi exclaims, emphasizing his words with his hand.
They both continue talking about the commercial, a man even chimed in on their accents saying they were perfect, before a large man in a booth started talking loudly.
“Well, well, well. If it isn't Brooklyn's favorite failures, the Stupid Mario Brothers!” the man, Spike, mocks them.
The boys move over there with deadpan expressions. “Oh great... Spike's here.” Luigi says, indignantly.
Mario lets out a sigh, “Hey Spike”
“yeah,” Spike changes his voice into a higher pitched tone “it's-a me!” he let’s out a cackle “Wooo yeah… Tell me have you even gotten one call since you left me to start your dumb company?”
Mario’s face starts to turn sour before Luigi spoke up.
“As a matter of fact, Spike, we have.” Luigi said this as he lifts up his phone. Mario gives him a surprised look.
“Wow! Really?” He asks with high hopes before they fall back down when Luigi mentions it was their mother.
“Uh, Yeah! Our mom called, and she said, "Aw, boys, that's the best commercial I've ever seen!" And I said, "Thank you very much, mother! We're very proud of it!" So BOOM!” He holds his phone out and drops it similar to a mic drop.
Spike smirks “Good luck running a business with this idiot and that delinquent little sister of yours” he throws a balled up napkin towards Luigi but Mario catches it before it hits his brother.
Mario stands tall “Say that again about my siblings, and you're gonna regret it,” he throws the napkin back at Spike.
Spike gets up and grabs Mario by his overalls roughly, “Oh yeah? Get this through your tiny brain, Mario! You're a joke — and you always will be.” He throws Mario to the floor just as hard.
Luigi has a concerned look on his face as he watches Spike walk out, chuckling. He looks at Mario, watching him get up. "Are you insane?! He's three times your size!"
Mario looks at Luigi, sighing. "Luigi, c'mon... y'know, you can't be scared all the time," he says
"Mmm, you'd be surprised..." Luigi says curtly.
Upon hearing it open, the boys turn to the door and see their little sister walk in with a smirk and a black eye. She stopped in front of them with her head held high.
Mario gives a light sigh, “Who was it this time?”
“Jessie Del Vecchio,” you roll your eyes, “I didn’t beat him up too bad this time, though, I promise. He can still see, but he is missing a few teeth,” you tell them.
You start counting on your fingers to remember how many you saw on the floor.
Luigi points at you, “That is where all my bravery went,” he told Mario with a pointed tone.
The boys got a call while you were still counting.
Luigi answers it, "Hello, Super Mario Brothers! Uh-huh? A drip in your faucet? That's great! I mean, that's... It's great you called us because we can be there and we can fix it right away. Okay." He ends the call before looking at his brother. "Guys! We got one!" he exclaimed, bringing Mario into a hug before letting go to grab you by your shoulders.
You let out a small laugh, “Well, what are you waiting for? Go fix those pipes,” you say, lightly pushing them outside.
"The Super Mario Brothers are in business!'' Luigi and Mario run outside to their van. Only for it to sputter out and fail on them.
Luigi starts to panic, "Oh, no! We're going to be late." A determined face makes its way onto Mario's face.
"No, we're not. Come on" He starts making his way down the road before stopping and looking at you. “Are you going to be okay? Do you want to come with us?” His face contorted into a look of concern.
You smile, “Oh yeah, I’ll fix up the van. Don’t worry about me” You reassured your brothers. They’ve always worried for you considering of how much trouble you seemed to attract.
Luigi gives a soft smile, “We’re your big brothers, it’s our job to worry” he ruffles your hair gently before running off to catch up with Mario.
With a smile still on your face, you turn to look at the van. “Those idiots” An airy laugh turns into a sigh. “Alright, let’s see what they did to you.”

Super Mario Role Reversal AU
Chapter 2! I'm so excited to write this fic and I hope you enjoy it! Also, please don't be mad for what I did to Pauline, please please please please please PLEASE-
______________________________________
Chapter 2: Hooked On The Pals!
"We're the Pipe Pals, and plumbing's our game-
We're not like the others who get all the fame!
"If you're sink is in trouble, you can call us on the double!
You can count on these gals, you'll be hooked on the pals!"
Flashes of two women bounced around the screen as the rap played, showing off various aspects of their plumbing services, specifically fixing a man's flooding sink.
"It's me, Peach!" A blonde, fair-skinned woman wearing a pink shirt and denim overalls cheered on the screen.
"And me, Daisy!" Another woman cheered, this one with short brown hair, tan skin, and an orange colored outfit. Both women had a hat in their respective colors, each adorned with their first initial.
"Are you tired of paying too much for plumbing?" Peach asked, standing in front of a green screen image of cash.
"Oh my!"
"That's why the Super Pipe Pals are here!" She assured, as she and Daisy planked on stools to give the appearance of flying superheroes.
"Here to save Brooklyn!" Peach flicked a tiny toy van on a map.
"And Queens!" Daisy added, repositioning the toy when it veered a little too far to the left.
"And your wallet!"
"Thank you Super Pipe Pals! It seems like the only thing you haven't drained is my bank account!" The man from earlier said, squinting at the card offscreen.
The commercial cut back to the pair, standing in front of there van with their arms wrapped around each other.
"So forget those expensive plumbing companies where you're just a client. With the Super Pipe Pals, you're family!"
...
The two women stood in the parlor, arm in arm in awe at their commercial. It was cheaply made and super corny, but god dammit, it was theirs. And they loved it.
The ad ended and the TV, hanging amongst pictures of famous fighters of years past, cut to a news broadcast.
The two laughed, smiling widely at each other.
"You were great!" Peach complimented, knocking Daisy's hat in front of her eyes.
"I was great? Are you kidding me? You were great!" Daisy retorted, giving Peach's arm a few punches.
"I am so glad we spent our life savings on this commercial!" The pink woman said.
"Hey, that is not a commercial, girl! That is cinema."
"B-But what about the voices?" Peach asked, recalling the high-pitched tones they performed, "Is it too much?"
A bystander, who was playing a nearby arcade game, turned to them.
"Too much? It's-a perfect!" He said.
"Alright, I'm gonna trust you!" Peach giggled.
A laugh interrupted their celebration.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't Brooklyn's favorite failures: the Stupid Pipe Pals!" A woman with dark hair, sunglasses, and a hat that read "Wrecking Crew" on it laughed, taking a bite out of a pizza slice.
"Oh, fantastic. Pauline's here." Daisy grumbled.
"Hello Pauline." Peach said, rolling her eyes.
"Ha, Yeah! 'Oh my!', She laughed, mocking their voices.
She took a minute to collect herself, taking off her sunglasses to wipe a tear from her eye. Pauline turned back, her chocolate brown eyes meeting Peach's bright blue.
"Tell me, have you two gotten ONE call since you left me to start your dumb company?"
Daisy pulled out her phone, "As a matter of fact, we have."
"Wow, really?" Peach asked, surprised herself.
"Yeah! Our friend, Mona, called and said: 'OMG, You guys! That's the best commercial I ever seen!'" Daisy recounted, imitating Mona's voice, "And I said: "Well, thank you my friend, we're very proud of it!" She finished, wrapping an arm around a mortified Peach.
"So BOOM!" Daisy jeered, slamming her phone into the hard floor, freezing when she heard the screen shatter.
A tiny moment of silence passed before Pauline laughed again, wiping her mouth with a napkin before balling up the lipstick-stained paper.
"Yeah. Good luck running a business with this ditzy airhead-" She tossed the ball at Peach who caught it before it hit her face.
"What did you just call her?!" Daisy growled, balling her fists.
"Daisy, take it easy..." Peach said, pulling her back by the shoulder.
"Careful, Peach. You might need to put a leash on her."
Peach paused, turning to Pauline with a cold, hard stare.
"Excuse me?"
Pauline smirked.
"Insult my best friend again, and you're gonna regret it." Peach threatened, tossing the napkin right in their former boss's face.
Pauline sat stunned for a second, before standing up.
"Oh yeah?", She said, grabbing Peach by the straps of her overalls, "Get this through your tiny brain, Peach. You're a joke! And you always will be."
She dropped her, sending her to the floor. She fixed her red work button-up, tossed her tip on the table, and left the parlor with a laugh.
"Rancid bitch!" Daisy hurled, kneeling down to help Peach up, "I oughtta-"
"Daisy, come on. You can't start fights with everyone who looks at us the wrong way." Peach huffed.
"The Hell I can't! I'm not gonna let her talk to you that way! And frankly, you could stand up for yourself more often!" Daisy retorted.
"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me."
"Yeah, sure they don't hurt ya, Peachy."
Their banter was once again interrupted, this time by Daisy's phone ringing. Hse picked it up, an unknown number showing on the shattered screen. The pair shrugged, and Daisy answered.
"Hello, Super Pipe Pals! Uh-huh....A drip in your faucet- That's great! Er- uh, Great that you called us! Because we can be there and fix it right away!" Daisy stuttered and hung up, turning to Peach.
"Peach, we got one! The Super Pipe Pals are in business!" Daisy cheered. The two embraced each other, jumping, spinning and squealing just as they did as little girls.
"Wahoo!"
The two rushed out of the parlor and into their van, buckling up and revving up to go.
Until their van sputtered to a stop, refusing to start up again.
"Oh God, we're gonna be late!" Daisy lamented.
"No we're not! Come on, let's go!" Peach jumped out of the car and ran around the corner, Daisy stumbling behind.
"Peach, wait up!"
Peach jumped over a trash can, through a open car window, and past a nearby shopper, all in record time.
"Come on, Dais!"
Daisy attempted the same thing, only to knock over the trash, agitate a cat, slam into the car door and shopper, and drop her tool bag in the process. She spouted out apologies, scrambling up the tool bag and rushing to follow Peach, who'd stopped at a construction site.
Daisy caught her breath while Peach ran forward, leaping straight into the zone.
"Aw, Peach, what the Hell are you doing?!"
Peach leapt and bounced, climbing the platforms and opening up a clearer path for Daisy. Despite the disturbance they caused, Peach jumped to the pole of Castle Burger, sliding down.
"C'mon, Daisy, work those legs!"
"I'm trying! I got bad knees!"
The two made it to their client's home shortly, a large white penthouse, much different from the surrounding buildings.
Daisy whistled, "Oh, Wow. We have hit the big time!" Peach fist bumped her, laughing.
They knocked on the front door, and a woman answered.
"Oh! You must be the plumbers."
"Yep! The Super Pipe Pals, at your service, ma'am! Where's the problem?" Peach asked.
"Follow me, dear." The woman prompted, they followed her and her husband into the home. Everything was pristine and white, shining in the sunlight from the giant windows.
"The drip is right upstairs, at the end of the hall."
"Can you fix it?" Her husband asked.
"Very confident, sir."
"You'll be careful about making a mess?" The woman inquired.
"Ma'am, I assure you. We don't make messes, we fix 'em!" Daisy laughed, suddenly freezing when she saw a cat lying in a bed.
"Oh this is Michelle! She likes you!" The woman, cuddled the purring kitty.
Daisy hesitantly stepped forward, accidentally stepping on a plastic ball with a bell in it, snapping it in half.
The cat stared at her, and Daisy stepped back, being pulled into the bathroom by Peach.
Peach eyed the sink spying the aforementioned drip in the faucet. The pipes below squeaked, spitting water in Daisy's face. She handed Peach a wrench, and with one swift tightening, the drip stopped.
"And that is our first job complete!" She said, her and Daisy performing their handshake. They turned to leave, only to stop in their tracks.
Michelle sat in the doorway, holding her broken toy under her paw. Her ears flipped back, her hind leg shut the door behind her, and she slowly approached the two, hissing.
She launched herself at them, hitting the sink and knocking it loose off the wall. The feline turned to Daisy, who had a plunger pointed at it.
"Peach, do something!"
Peach sat on the shower floor, tossing a nearby shampoo bottle at the cat, it turned its attention to her lunging forward with her claws out. Peach was able to hold her back, leaping against the wall over the cat, and shutting the shower door.
She caught her breath, before hearing a creaking noise.
"Uh, Peach?" Daisy prompted, pointing at the now loose sink. Water spouted from under the tap and the pipes inside, cracking the tile on the wall.
Underneath the floor, pipes burst, lifting the tiles up, which Peach stomped back down. Daisy stomped down another one, before turning to the now shaking mirror.
A blast of water launched the mirror in Daisy's face. She pushed it back with all her might. The lid to the toilet tank erupted water as well. Being held down by Peach. This only redirected the water to the shower, knocking the shower head and handles off.
The closed shower filled with water, slowly bringing the feral cat up to the top.
"That demonic cat is gonna escape!" Daisy yelled, still holding the mirror against the wall.
"No it won't!" Peach grabbed the wrench, and turned at a pipe, allowing the filling water in the shower to drain.
Peach sighed, sitting on the toilet lid to catch her breath. It was short-lived, however, as the cat had climbed onto the ledge of the shower door, growling.
"Eheheheh....Who's a good kitty?" Peach laughed nervously, holding the wrench out while Daisy shielded herself with the mirror.
The cat jumped, and the two women hugged each other, screaming. They both jumped out of the way, and the cat missed them. The window had been knocked open, the cat flying out of it.
Despite their tussle with the feline, they couldn't just stand there! They can't let an animal die, let alone a client's pet! Peach leapt after it, catching it with the plunger. Daisy held onto her legs, yanking them back into the bathroom.
Of course, it was then that the woman and her husband came up, coming to check on the girls. They both gasped at the sight of their now destroyed bathroom, their soaked pet, and the two guilty women.
Peach giggled nervously, "Found the problem..."

HOME REMODELING AND RENOVATION
Tumblr media
HOME REMODELING AND RENOVATION SERVICES STEP BY STEP PLANNING
Initial Consultation: The first step in any home remodeling or renovation project is an initial consultation with a professional contractor. During this meeting, you will discuss your goals, budget, and design ideas, and the contractor will assess the scope of the project and provide an estimate.
Design and Planning: Once you have agreed on the scope of the project, the next step is to create a detailed design plan and obtain necessary permits. This may involve working with an architect or designer to create drawings and specifications, and submitting these to the local building department for approval.
Preparing the Space: Before the renovation can begin, the contractor will prepare the space by removing any furniture, covering the floors and walls, and installing protective barriers. This will help ensure the safety of your home and the workers during the renovation process.
Demolition: In many cases, the first step in a home renovation project will be to remove any existing fixtures, walls, or other elements that are no longer needed or desired. This may involve demolition of part or all of the existing space, and the removal of debris.
Structural Work: After the demolition is complete, the next step is to make any structural changes or additions to the space. This may involve adding walls, installing new beams, or making other modifications to the existing structure.
Plumbing and Electrical: Once the structural work is complete, the next step is to install any new plumbing and electrical systems. This may involve running new pipes, installing electrical outlets and fixtures, and making any other necessary upgrades.
Framing and Drywall: After the plumbing and electrical work is done, the contractor will begin installing new walls, ceilings, and other components. This may involve installing insulation, hanging drywall, and preparing the surfaces for painting or wallpapering.
Finishing Work: After the walls and ceilings are complete, the next step is to install any final finishes, such as trim, molding, and cabinetry. This may also involve installing flooring, tiling, or other decorative elements.
Painting and Decorating: Once the finishing work is complete, the final step is to paint or decorate the space according to your specifications. This may involve selecting colors, wall coverings, and other decorative elements, and applying them to the walls and ceilings.
Clean-Up and Final Inspection: After the project is complete, the contractor will clean up the site and perform a final inspection to ensure that everything is in order. Once the inspection is complete and all necessary permits have been obtained, you will be able to move into your newly renovated space. More Idea and tips

Wario & Waluigi in the Super Mario Movie Verse
After saving Brooklyn, Mario and Luigi’s plumbing business gets a big boost in popularity. Their services are in high demand, and they develop their skills to the point that they are regarded as some of the most quick and efficient plumbers in Brooklyn. But they encounter another bump on the road to success when this new company shows up: Super Wario Brothers Plumbing.
Everything about it is a bad bootleg of their own business. The names are similar, their costumes are similar, their logo is similar, and even their phone number is only one digit off from their own. Luigi soon finds himself responding to a slew of bad reviews from people they’ve never met, and 90% of the time the reason is the same: someone confused the Super Wario Brothers with the Super Mario Brothers, and the results were disastrous.
Mario is fuming, but Luigi is optimistic. Sure, their reputations are being damaged by two conmen without plumbing licenses who do more harm than good and charge ridiculous amounts, but on the bright side Super Wario Brothers is so incompetently run and vaguely illegal that it couldn’t possibly last. He and Mario just needed to keep having pride in their own work, and wait it out.
Mario relaxes for a moment. Luigi is right! And with them moonlighting as heroes in The Mushroom Kingdom there were more important things to think about than two grifters trying to ride their coattails.
Then, a Wario Brothers Plumbing ad comes on the TV... with a rap that’s only a few notes/lyrics off from their own... and Mario wonders if he can away with slashing these guys’ tires.

Purpose Of General Liability Insurance In Queens And Brooklyn, NY
Protecting assets by buying a suitable insurance policy can help the concerned individual remain free from financial risks during emergencies. Unfortunately, most insurance carriers do not offer coverage for flooding along with homeowner's or renters insurance policies. The property does not have to be located in an area that is frequently flooded, though. Even homes on high ground may find water accumulation indoors for varied reasons. Consider buying insurance coverage associated with flood cleanup in Brooklyn and Queens, NY. Most people have misgivings about buying this insurance coverage when flooding may not occur anytime soon. Taking precautions is always recommended. While the state may not mandate it, the mortgage lender may make it a prerequisite for releasing funds. Furthermore, being covered by flood insurance is also advisable when the insured individual has already obtained grants for flooding previously.
It is always essential to inquire about the extent of coverage before signing on the dotted line. The" National Flood Insurance Program or NFIP" regulates flood insurance that may also be purchased from private carriers. NFIP describes flooding as excess water on land that usually remains dry. The situations compensated by flood insurance companies include the following scenarios:-
· Overflowing of rivers, lakes, or bays due to sudden increase in the volume of water · Hurricanes or thunderstorms that cause water accumulation indoors · Heavy and incessant rains that result in accumulation of water without any respite · Mudflow · Melting snow that seeps into the house
The insurance companies also provide information about the types of accommodation that may be covered by the insurance policy. It suffices to know that ll residents dwelling in the following structures may consider buying flood insurance:
· Residential homes · Apartment units · Condos · Mobile Homes · Rented Homes It is interesting to learn that NFIP offers two distinct types of coverage for the building structure and the contents inside. Each of the coverage comes with a different deductible. The main areas covered by flood insurance usually include the following:-
Building coverage
This covers the risks to the building structure or dwelling area and the seven detached buildings attached. It includes:
· Foundation walls · Stairways · Electrical & plumbing systems · Water heaters · Furnaces · Built-in appliances and cabinets or cupboards · Fixed carpets · Window blinds · Fuel and well water tanks · Solar energy equipment Contents coverage
This is similar to the personal possession coverage provided by a homeowners or renters coverage. The NFIP insurance will provide compensation for:
· Clothing · Furniture & Furnishings · Electronics devices · Original artwork up to a limit · Washers, dryers, microwaves, and other home appliances · Portable air conditioners · Carpets that have been installed over wood floors
A business owner may inadvertently injure or damage the property of a customer, visitor, or guest when operating the business or inside the business premises. It is imperative to be covered by general liability insurance in Queens and Brooklyn, NY, which is a part of the commercial insurance policy.
