Hi there! I've been following your comics for a while and they're very educational imo ^_^ it's helped give me thoughts about aro/ace concepts....

Um, I wanted to ask about how you and your partner handle your long distance (QPR) relationship? I know you two are from two countries that are pretty separate. That must get tough sometimes--I know many people find it hard. How do you two stay connected and easily very close without getting lonely or "out of it"? Do you think it'd apply to romantic ones too?

I've already answered a similar question like this before so I'll link it here in case it provides some insights, but to give the jist of it :

Maybe it being platonic and sexless might be helping our case (I have no idea how much people who like sex and romance actually miss physically being with the person) but whether it does or not, I think that those things always depend on everyone's individual personalities, experiences and what they want in life. Due to my past experiences I've grown up biased towards the thought that close = scary and far away = good, sincere and trustworthy, so it probably doesn't affect me as much as other people. That and the fact that I could also NOT be in a QPR at the moment and be perfectly fine. When it happened to me, I didn't miss it before it happened. It was just all nice good luck all around and I'm extra happy now that it's there, but it's a bonus in my life, not a requirement.

That said, we also have a fairly strict-ish routine we commit to to keep each other posted, and we'd visit each other every year whenever we could, which also helps a whole bunch. And we get the comfort that the other exists out of it, no matter where we are. And we get words out of it, we get connection out of it. Just because we're not physically together doesn't mean we can't connect and communicate at this day and age, heck, that's how we got to KNOW each other to begin with.

And all of that said tho, the early 2020-late 2021 travel ban that made it extremely hard an expensive for me to visit them (because I had to spend 2 weeks in another country before I even could) was one of the biggest hardships in my life; and when we're not together physically we miss not being able to hug or hold hands or no; and ultimately, y'know, knock on wood, we won't be long-distance for that much longer since we're in the process of trying to get me a fiance visa so I can go marry them. So that's another thing. Having that goal helps us hold on because we know if everything goes well, it won't be a permanent thing.

Dearest Robyn this is a varied selection which gives me a great thrill, and i can confirm my brainrot sense are tingling and i think they've given me a nosebleed. To pick out a few:

Church & Stop the world - delicious, horny, desperate. i'll be in my grave.

Heaven's on fire - as previously mentioned any song where one person is referred to as 'baby' is an instant brainrot. these songs are about heterosexuals and the attempt to associate these with our ineffable husbands gives me life and i respect the grind

Prayer by madonna - immaculate choice. Total, utter brainrot. Other than obviously being about praying, this song has no connection to aziracrow in my eyes and it is therefore perfect. Story time: I once went to a show called 'Famous First Words' at the Edinburgh Fringe, and the jist of the show is that they play a song and the first person to name it has to come up and try and sing the first verse without any lyrics. I was so battered that my hand shot up, I approached the stage and preceded to sing the whole song almost entirely on my knees. I won a bottle of prosecco.

ahhhh this is v cute thank you but i disagree fjdbsjd. when i was younger i was better at writing peter, but now i’m bad at it !! and that is okay. i’m better w tom now and bad at pete and that’s okay. peter was easier to write when i too was an innocent high schooler experiencing first innocent love ++ i just can’t connect w that anymore !! it’s okay tho, like i didn’t say that to be deprecating, it’s true yanno ? and it’s okay! i’m glad you like my pete stuff but it’s v unlikely i’ll write more for him any time soon (maybe w nwh?). that aside, i feel you :( his freckles are the cutest. i hope you got to write some cocky boyfriend!tom :’)) he’s the best

My theory for the Fake Love MV...

Ok so I’m not at all a huge theory person because it’s just all so damn confusing, but I do have a lot of thoughts and opinions on the Fake Love mv and how I think it is connected to the rest of the BTS universe whatever you wanna call it. (This isn’t concrete it’s just what I noticed and it may or may not line up with past or current theories or whatever).

So basically Fake Love is the first video we’ve seen where the boys are actually dead.  Now past videos may have been memories of the boys when they were alive, but this is them once they’ve all actually died (that is except Jin... maybe).  

The reason why this is so significant is because half of the boys: Jimin, Suga, and Jhope are actually in Hell, while Jungkook is trapped in purgatory.  Jimin, Suga, and Jhope are all clearly trapped in their rooms, this is evident from when Jhope tries to escape and the door is locked, and aren’t seen in other locations throughout the mv (except for purely aesthetic scenes).  Their rooms are like their own personal hellscapes based on how they died: Jimin = drowning therefore all the water in his space, Suga = burning to death, and Jhope = overdose/mental health.  All of these situations these boys are in are amplified which makes me believe that their realities aren’t legitimate, but that they’re all actually in hell.  They also aren’t really trying to fight them (except Jhope) most likely because they are subjected to this torture frequently.  The reason why Jhope still resists it is because his torture is less obvious, it’s more mental and overwhelming than the other boys’ because it has to do with him mind - his hellscape is literally driving him insane.

As for Jungkook, he’s kind of seen in many “in between” situations throughout most of the video.  First of all he is able to watch all of his “dead” friends suffer through small videos which makes me think that he’s supposed to be reflecting on their mistakes and poor choices in their alive past.  It also seems as if he’s being pushed towards something throughout the video, like when the floor beneath him literally drops out and forces him forward.  He is clearly lost.  At the end of his journey, Jungkook is faced at a dead-end, a decision.  The sand he lets go is reflective of the og I NEED U mv when Jin lets all the petals drop to the floor, however in Fake Love the petals in Kook’s shadow on the wall fly away indicating that he has finally made his decision and moved on.  This being said, Jin was protecting the flower earlier in the mv and it was kept in an old lantern - this lantern was also seen in this scene with Jungkook.  Jungkook letting go of his past is what enabled the gate to be opened up for him.  This gate will either lead him towards heaven or hell, but I personally believe that it is towards heaven.  This is because throughout the videos in the BTS universe Jungkook’s character never really does anything wrong so-to-say.  In fact, in almost all of his situations he’s put in he’s the victim.

As suggested above I think that Jin is still alive and I think he is plagued with the memory of his lost friends.  He feels as if he could have saved them before but that isn’t as touched upon in this video as much since they’ve already died.  However, Jin is still tasked with protecting the flower.  The og flower.  This flower somehow obviously connects him to his lost friends and I wouldn’t be surprised if theres some supernatural quality to it.  In recent interviews RM has said that the scene with all the boys receiving items in the teasers was them at a “magic shop” which could mean that magic does in fact exist in this universe... after all Jin literally is capable of time travel.  The reason why I believe Jin feels so troubled with taking care of the flower and keeping it safe is because it may have certain powers/abilities that may be able to help him bring his friends back from the dead.  The fact that the flower is lost means that he had probably lost the chance to bring back and save his friends.

I don’t believe that RM’s scene is as important to the story as the others are.  In fact, I think most of his scenes are purely for mv aesthetics, and then occasionally supposed to represent the importance of self reflection - like when he is literally staring at his own reflection.

I don’t really have thoughts about Taehyung’s parts just yet, but if anyone wants to add their thoughts then go at it.

Ok so that’s just the jist of what I think about the Fake Love mv and how it connects to the BTS universe and everything... omg why do these boys keep this up it’s been like 3 years and it’s getting out of control.  At this point I lowkey hope they finish this story off soon because it’s too much to handle lol.  If you have anything you want to add pls let me know!!!

Wyrmrest Accord - Alliance RP Discord

I’m pretty sure there isn’t one (if there is this is embarrassing whoops) but I set up a discord server for WrA ALLIANCE RP.

I figure this is a good way to connect RPers that don’t use tumblr regularly, but still want to connect with the community (so hey, if you know RPers who don’t use tumblr - spread the word!). Or for people who need to take time away from the game but don’t wanna leave!!! I know sometimes I just don’t feel like scrolling through tumblr to get the jist of what’s going on, so maybe some other people feel the same way?? idk my dudes. I hope people like it!

There’s also room to promote events and your own characters, as well as your guild! And it can be a great way to strike up RP if you’re looking to get together with a certain kind of character (Say you need a doctor, or a leatherworker, etc).
