The Interconnected Universe: Exploring Energy, Space, and the Human Body
Excited to explore the interconnectedness of energy in the universe and its parallels with human desires and bodily systems. Stay tuned for insights into mass-energy, creation and destruction, plasma as an energy source, and more! #Energy #Universe ✨🚀
Black holes absorb energy and potentially give rise to travel in space. However, they compete with the sun because they are wise and radiant in energy. In fact, desire is bright like the sun. If I were to look outward to a place, a person, or a thing, my desire would be just. The goal of magnets is that I can find my power with gratitude and blessing. The fact is that if I focus on my blessings…

Scientists have overcome two key barriers to producing power from nuclear fusion, which could pave the way for producing near-limitless clean energy. The scientists have ensured that the nuclear fusion reaction overcomes the two barriers to operating in a “sweet spot” for optimal power production: boosting the plasma density and containing the dense plasma. A tokamak reactor is essentially used around the world for producing energy from fusion reactions. The reactors have a donut-shaped interior which is covered with magnets.

Wow wow wow! Last night we experienced another absolutely crazy aurora display. Rain showers passing Schermerhorn (The Netherlands), with dancing pillars and curtains on top. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I thought the aurora of 10 may was a once in a lifetime event. I was wrong.

I was listening to So Much (For) Stardust and accidentally had too many thoughts in one sitting so we have another AU concept. I don't have a solid name yet so I've just been calling Team Supernova AU.
Long story short:
Ghetsis freezes over Unova's major cities, taking most survivors hostage to join Team Plasma, and leaving several thousands dead from the frost
Emmet, Elesa, and others try fending off the Plasma Frigate in Nimbasa but ultimately lose with injuries (Emmet got frozen on his right side)
Emmet takes as many survivors as he can into the tunnels, later joining other groups to his and forming Team Supernova in resistance to Team Plasma
Ingo went missing about a year prior to all of this, so Emmet has already spent a lot of time alone. The only pokemon he has left is Ingo's Chandelure, as the rest did not survive the invasion. He's generally very cold and shut off emotionally as a result, and doesn't really express himself like he used to.
I'll drop more details later, right now the AU in early concept stages so it's essentially a bundle of "what would this be like" and "what if this happened" and "this could be cool". If I have time I'll drop some of the other uniform designs later. Anyways have a good night, see ya.

Harnessing energy from plasma requires a precise understanding of its behavior during fusion to keep it hot, dense and stable. A new theoretical model about a plasma's edge, which can become unstable and bulge, brings the prospect of commercial fusion power closer to reality. "The model refines the thinking on stabilizing the edge of the plasma for different tokamak shapes," said Jason Parisi, a staff research physicist at PPPL. Parisi is the lead author of three articles describing the model that were published in the journals Nuclear Fusion and Physics of Plasma. The primary paper focuses on a part of the plasma called the pedestal, which is located at the edge. The pedestal is prone to instabilities because the plasma's temperature and pressure often drop sharply across this area.

"In a new study published in The Astrophysical Journal, a researcher from The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), a part of the University of Alabama System, explores critical aspects of a phenomenon called kinetic Alfvén waves (KAWs) to provide fresh insights into an age-old heliophysics mystery.
Syed Ayaz, a graduate research assistant at the UAH Center for Space Plasma and Aeronomic Research (CSPAR), examined the potentially pivotal role of KAWs in heating the solar corona, moving science one step closer to solving the puzzle of why the corona is many times hotter than the surface of the sun itself.
"For decades, Alfvén waves have been proven to be the best candidates for transporting energy from one place to another," Ayaz says, noting the potential role of KAWs in driving coronal heat.
"This paper utilizes a novel approach to model energetic particles in space plasmas, as observed by satellites like Viking and Freja, to answer how the electromagnetic energy of the waves, interacting with particles, transforms into heat during the damping process as the waves move through space."
"The corona, or solar atmosphere, is an enigmatic region surrounding our home star that extends far beyond the visible disk of the sun, stretching some 8 million kilometers above the sun's surface. Yet, the corona is also characterized by extraordinarily high temperatures, a mystery that has captivated astrophysicists for nearly seventy years."

The Joint European Torus (JET) was a magnetically confined plasma physics experiment, located at Culham Centre for Fusion Energy in Oxfordshire, UK. Based on a tokamak design, the fusion research facility was a joint European project with a main purpose of opening the way to future nuclear fusion grid energy. At the time of its design JET was larger than any comparable machine. (Wikipedia)
