I love this lady pig with a big gun by NEBU_KURO! She appears in Nebu’s indie animation (apparently Nebu works for One Punch Man), which seems to be a retelling of Wu Kong’s story. In the original Wu Kong’s story, there’s a pig characters - but this time, she’s a bleach blonde babe.

Pig Lady

It's late at night and a group of teens go to the woods on an October night to try to scare one another. As they gather around a campfire, they begin to tell ghost stories. Eventually they find themselves talking about the Pig Lady; Born deformed to a farmer and his wife, the farmer put a pig's head over his child's in order to hide her hideous features. She was teased mercilessly until the day her mother died; then she took her revenge on her father and the others that had done her wrong with an axe. Now, she haunts the woods, coming out if you say "Pig Lady" three times. She will chase you with an axe and add you to her long list of kills should she catch you.

Various towns and areas have some version of a boogie man in the woods, be it the Pig Lady, Cropsy, the Rake, and others. Southern Oregon has the distinction of actually having a documented Pig Lady, though the details are not as supernatural and more gruesome.

In 2015, Susan Monica of Wimer, Oregon, was convicted of murder, ID theft, and abuse of the corpse. Two handymen of Susan had gone missing in 2012 and 2013, the authorities only being tipped of the missing men when Susan was caught using one of the victim's, Robert Haney, food stamp card. After a search of her rural property uncovered human remains, human remains were found in the pig pen on Susan's squalid farm. Susan alleged that the deaths of Robert and Stephen Delecino, another handyman, came about because of her pigs and a suicide for the latter. What was found immediately was that the pigs had indeed eaten portions of the human remains found.

In a macabre gesture, Susan requested that after her pigs were euthanized, the meat be donated to local shelters in the area. This request was denied.

It is unclear if there were more murders that occurred on her farm, but Susan Monica has been labeled a serial killer by the FBI.

I think some of the criticisms of Bridgerton come down to nostalgia as the the series progresses because too many people have forgotten we had an episode of S1 that revolved around Daphne not being able to properly choose a winning pig.

Every season has at least one “pig plot”, it’s inevitable.

last night I was hanging out with friends outside a bar when 6 cops showed up to arrest a 75 year old woman for sleeping on the sidewalk across the street from us so the 4 or 5 of us who were outside watching started loudly making fun of and taunting them for being useless cowards

they all just stood there watching us for a minute not saying anything until one said "would you like to come on a ride along and see how hard our job really is?" and we all immediately busted up laughing and started yelling "oh yeah harassing poor old women on the street that seems really fucking difficult" and they just quietly and awkwardly got in their cars and left while our friend repeatedly shouted "go protect and serve" after them
