Genuinely the whole problem with doing most Tasks is the lack of external reward. Like, the “reward” is just “surviving for another day.”

Nobody is telling me ‘good job’ for sweeping the tree trash off my stupid patio until sweat is pouring into my eyes. I don’t get an A in Meal Planning for cooking all week and packing lunches. Not having gross dishes in the sink is “its own reward” I fucking guess but the constant endless labor just to not live in a pile of garbage surviving on Triscuits and string cheese is fucking bullshit and the worst part is I still can’t keep the floors or bathrooms clean!! I’m working constantly and my shower is still disgusting. Why is it NEVER OVER like how does anyone stay sane with the knowledge that you’ll just never be “done” and that’s just life??
