Made the decision of having one of Pico's lil opossum siblings get mutated from the oozesquitoes just like he did ( this fam just can't resist a lil bug snack I swear xD). Todd would absolutely adore her

Her favourite of the turtle fam would be Mikey much to Pico's dismay(he's not gonna stop her from playing with him tho), she thinks he's really fun and playful and have in common of being the younger baby siblings. She even gets a smiley patch from him :3

She's not able to speak regularly yet so Pico'd have to translate what she's saying to others, which would make for some funny moments cuz kids have no filter when it comes to some of the stuff they say

Plant Portraits

Hi, yes, hi, hello. Yeaaaaaah- steering away from the angst me & Helli brewed while I recover from crying. This was inspired exactly a month ago from this ask I made to Helli ask bout their oc's fav plants. I wanted to try out a new rendering style & thought this be a good opportunity + plant practice

Pico; He likes cinnamon plants/trees & likes to knaw on cinnamon sticks. So I did cinnamon plants! Specifically Cinnamomum cassia, or known as Chinese cassia, that is the most commonly sold cinnamon in North America (yes you are getting plant facts this took longer to research than to draw mainly because I like learning but that's besides the point and I wanna share knowledge) I really like how the leaves came out! Twas very fun. His plants are well maintained, healthy, & green (maybe too green lol) which shows his craft in gardening & care. Luci doesn't have teeth, so she can't really 'knaw' on things, so she didn't like trying Pico's snacks when she stole one. She was coughing on cinnamon for the next hour after. Pico laughed at her, obviously Ingenuity: the quality of being clever, original, and inventive

Bao; He likes wisteria flowers, the purple variation (my fav colour)! I loved loved LOVED coloring these plants, but it feels the most empty out of all of them (Clem is all over the place lmao) but I also kinda like it. Like it reflects their personalities this way, like he's the most upkept in society (despite his utter lack of gardening knowledge). Apparently, American wisteria is a host plant to native butterflies and moths! Add that to another reason Luci likes Bao lol. I feel like anytime she comes to the tea shop, Bao would bring her to the garden he & Pico would be working on. And everytime he's show her the plants he managed on his own they'd be drooping and dying lmao. Bao would be so confused & Luci is just unsurprised. And yes, I did think of & look at the wisteria in demon slayer Versatility: the ability to adapt or be adapted to many different functions or activities

Clem; She likes (take 3 seconds to guess) citrus fruits!! Like her name. So I of course did citrus fruits, lemons & oranges. She has my FAVORITE pose, her reaching for the fruit while juggling some in her other arm is adorable. And of course that cute face of hers! Her plants are just EVERYWHERE & is the only one to touch the ends of the canvas (that I wanted to avoid but oh well, it didn't look good otherwise). Besides, it shows her big personality and chaotic energy children have. Apparently, they're sometimes called 'Christmas oranges' because they're in season in winter months. I thought that was interesting. Does Clem like the cold, Helli or does she despise it like Pico lol? Apparently, they are also those cuties or halos oranges I use to devour as a child lol. And because of said memory, I say that Clem does too. I like to think Luci learns to share, like a child, from Clem, a said child. Luci sells back people's stuff overpriced all the time, and only shares things with Repo. She obviously isn't sharing anything with Pico & she mainly hangs out with Bao at the tea shop so she only buys things. She stole Clem's fruits in front of her once. Let's just say a bunch of sad faces and crying, not only bleed her earholes, but made her feel bad (but she'll never admit it). Does she share things now? Kindaaaaa- no. No, not at all. Only Clem & Repo Affability: the quality of being friendly and easy to talk to

aaaand my inspo board just cuz I was going to draw Vera, I really was! (I was so FRICKIN EXCITED to draw the plant with the braided stock next to the pink flower) but... one look at her head and the pose I chose, I said "No."

Bao was already troubling enough I don't need to build up hate to a character I barely know & already like by getting frustrated with their head (again). So no Vera, Helli, sorrys. Her descriptor was going to be 'nobility' btw

Everything is an Austen novel today. Fafner and I took provisions (old clementines, dry corn, and croutons) to our Murbleage neighbors (opossum & birds& whomst ever else passes through the yard wanting a snack near the compost bin).

Murble (our Mrs Bennet that “isn’t even trying to hook us up”) made an appointment for Fafner at puppycamp “you’re going to the Ball!”

(I fixed the dates. I was having trouble with my hand and my brain seems determined to relive January.)

Armin! I heard you took over the blog today. Tell me what your favorite thing about your girl is ?

Let's see... I've got four girls whom I love so deeply, so since you didn't specify which one I'll talk about them all!

My Kelsey is so smart, hardworking and dedicated to everything she puts her mind to. It takes a real genius to manage a house and farm, while also still having enough patience to give me support when I'm feeling low, and having her own hobbies. I don't understand how she's everywhere at once.

Dahlia loves music and is really fond of her violin. She just started playing two weeks ago so, so hopefully the sound will soon show for her determination and discipline.

I'm convinced that Althea has an undercover business somewhere. She has a million and one friends. I always see her cross-stitching, braiding, crocheting like mad, day and night. Also, I noticed her money box was very heavy while I was in the girls' room picking up.

I appreciate how Clementine loves animals, so do Kelsey and I. Any animal she sees, she wants to touch. Any animal she touches, she wants to keep. Any animal she keeps, she loves obsessively. It's a cute cycle, until she's asking to keep an opossum she managed to grab. We let it go.

I apologize if this is too long, but I really could talk about my girls forever. :)

Clementine is 2!!!

The princess enjoyed her birthday even if we had to be at work. Especially the part where she got a blueberry muffin. It is sad that opossums live such brief lives, so I try to make sure my NR babies live the best they possibly can.

I know you joked that Clem claimed Luci as her honorary sister, but they are also 'technically' cousins and would address her as such more than calling her a sister. If not for that reason, then because Luci wouldn't know how to deal with it (as her brain would trail to her then being Pico's sister & both of them would despise that lol) so it's probably done for Luci's sake (with exceptions ofc)

2nd thing; Sugar or Salt If this is an actually thing i don't know where its from because I made it up. But it's their version of saying 'good news or bad news'. I thought it was cute :] Sugar being to sugarcoat the situation & Salt being brutally honest/realistic. I think it'd be a thing Luci made up when Clem was really young & I think Clem would mainly ask for sugar instead of salt.

Small art dump for August since it’s nearing the end of the month <3

So first off, I touched up my converse since they looked boring af and devoid of color

Next, I finally painted my ceramic opossum from last semester and her name is clementine 💛

I had an vinyl record of a band I don’t support anymore so rather than breaking it I decided to paint it! It’s my own stupid little fake koi fish band named the mason jar pond 🦑

And to conclude, I have two small doodles plus a cat photo (as per usual) and the current song I’m listen to.

Since @ariel-seagull-wings asked for it sharing some of the campaign art I did for it to give vibes of it. Most are holiday pieces.

Here's a quick pic of the main cast I did for new years plus some favorite npcs (including Moxi the teiflings, dan Chesterfield the tabaxi, Clementine the opossum, zelda the vampire, and former player florence the genasi (this was originally a one shot but she couldnt play more than the one shot)

There's haliford the damphir and former lawman with a heart of gold framed for crime by a coworker (the pale dark haired guy with the tired eyes)and is @cyborgartalchemist2 's character, Kaliah another damphir who is an outlaw turned lounge singer trying to escape her past(darker skinned one in sequences), a curious and clever young half elf named nali (holding the possum) who is the grandson of a senator and trying to hide burgening wild magic ablilities from his family as it will bring shame to their historic wizard household and @thephilosophersapprentice 's character, Rosalyn the fantasy russian immigrant half harengon who is fleeing the fantasy russian mob with her sister thanks to mistakes of her father (bunny girl) and is @habits-white-rabbit 's character, as well as basil the lawyer paladin half orc who is sick of the system repeatedly failing and making criminals out of innocent people over potions so he kinda snaps and becomes a bootlegger, who is @xpegasusuniverse 's character.

Here's some art I've done they work for a red dragon named Lawrence streakfire bootlegging potions and escaping the long arm of the law established by the wizard council, aka the wizard council guard. Most work for his front companies, the dragon's den(main front and dinner theater) and the magic telegram company (name they use when making deliveries).

Here's the big bad evil guy, a lovcraftian bard/warlock, serial killer, and vampire satyr named argyll bellsworth hell bent on getting the players out of his way

The vamps are a collection of vampires that work for streakfire that are also "vamps" aka extreme flappers. Their names are Zelda (to the left of Kaliah) Ellie and Vanessa (two girls on the other side, Vanessa being the one drunk on the table), and Velvet the dragonborn-vampire also pictured is Louie the red dragonborn, the main host of streakfire's dinner theater.

Here are some images of inside and outside of the dinner theater as well as baiguijing's (another kingpin in the city) gambling parlor/restaraunt. Basil isn't in all of these cause he joined in January.

But you can see a lot of the friendly NPCs they have interacted with, including vampires, teiflings, tabaxi, dragonborn, kobolds, and more!

So this is the kind of world I'm imagining. It takes place in fantasy West Virginia in a city called steel ball City, which is basically a mix of Chicago, NYC, Boston, Baltimore, and Detroit with the direct surroundings having more southern vibe for flavor. For plot reasons I wanted something also fairly close to the capitol, driving distance to an ocean, as well as access to Appalachia mountain range.

So yee. Main plot is in the country of Aurumigo after the shadow war and the havoc that wreaked, and a long history of moral persecution of what is considered "wild magic" after necromancy on the bodies of sentient beings fell out of favor in the early 1800s, most forms of potions were banned in the year 1920. Anything that was not considered a health potion has been strictly prohibited by law to make, take, or sell, and health potions of any kind have strictly been regulated and can only be produced by certain individuals with permits to do so, and many requiring prescriptions to obtain. This caused a rise in organized crime as cheap alternatives and black market potions grew high in demand. And so our five individuals find themselves under the wings of notorious mobster, the red devil himself, Lawrence streakfire.

Tbh my players have made this world so much fun to build and I owe most of the great aspects of it to them and their willingness to explore it. From the Americana fae rhealm, to haunted graveyards of fantasy New Orleans, and much much more. It's been awesome!!! Couldn't ask for a better table.

So I run a DND campaign where it's a 1920s fantasy version of America where there is potion bootlegging and I've been having to prep for my session for tomorrow.

I cant stop thinking about how Gambit and rogue would fit into that world. Their powers would be more normalized falling under sorcery magic probably but still....its such an intriquet world ive made up....and if i used the dnd races i chose for them for fantasy day for rogue/gambit week..... Would they be friends? Would they be enemies? Would they be working for one of the many bootlegging rings I came up with? hmmmmmmmmmmmm

I'm blaming @cyborgartalchemist2 for this brain rot.

Not cause he really had anything to do with it but he's one of my players and got me into Romy. Prepare to suffer in DND.
