Phoenixeclipse - Forgotten AU
A dark force takes Phoenix away, making it appear as if she died. This takes place after the Journey To The West. She isn't brought back to her own world but rather she is taken to a place known as the void.
Sun Wukong and Macaque don't care about humans and stay on their island away from everyone else. Occasionally, I'm going to the city to make a mess to make sure Mk isn't going soft since he decided to move to the city. They also go to Camel Ridge to visit with their old friends. (All after 5 years of mourning)
She wants nothing more than to get back home to her mates Sun Wukong and Macaque and her cubs Xiaotian, Bao and Tao. However the longer she remains in the void the more she forgets about her life and the people she cared about.
It gets worse when she finds out she is pregnant with the Triplets. In order to protect them, she stays in the least dangerous part of the Void. The Void Mountain where almost nothing roams and only lush greenery is found.
However, the mountain has long and harsh winters. She is unable to stay awake and protect her own cubs. They are found by an ice demon (Crystal) who watches the children during the winter, the cubs who don't hibernate like their mother.
As they grow older, they learn more about their mother and their 'aunt' Crystal. Mostly, their mother, they notice, is slowly losing more and more of her memories the longer she stays within the Void.
>>> An is the youngest and nearly died when she was born. Her body is rather fragile for a monkey demon but still stronger than a human. She is persistent and doesn't take no for an answer when it comes to her family's safety. She's kind and calm with those who are nice to her and loves to simply sit back and relax or study.
So they plot to get her out. The only way to get out of the Void is to go through the King, who immediately refuses and sends them away. An is persistent, refusing to take no for an answer, and comes back again and again.
Finally, the King agrees if she defeats one of his gladiators. But if she loses, she would become one of his slaves. She wins and is sent out of the Void, alone.
So she needs to find a way back and a way to get the rest of her family out. During this time, she goes to Megopolis, where she finds a small noodle shop. There is a monkey demon like herself who is working, his name is Mk and he's so nice to her.
She just needs to find a way to ask for his help. Or maybe she shouldn't drag him into her problems. Too bad she doesn't have much of a choice when he finds out she is basically homeless.
>>>
>>> Jing is the second youngest and is protective and dangerous. She will fight anyone and anything to protect her family. If she gets hurt in a fight, she won't stop until she's either unconscious or dead.
Jing refuses to leave her mom's side after the first time they go to the King. She is protective of her mother, who barely remembered them when they returned to her. She is persistent that she won't leave her alone again.
She is visious to anyone who enters the mountain that she doesn't know or approve of. She also grows a loathing towards her Dad and Baba, who she has never met. She thinks that they abandoned them because her mom doesn't know what happened to them.
When An goes missing, she is distraught and tries to find clues, but in the end, finds nothing. She can't bring herself to leave the mountain away from her mother and thinks that her sister is dead.
>>>
>>> Meihua is the oldest still. She is protective of her siblings and is the most observant of them, too. She takes meticulous care of her fur and is persistent when it comes to grooming her sisters.
Meihua goes searching for her sister in depth and runs into a dangerous individual. The White Bone Spirit is ruthless and cruel, but even so Meihua stands her own rather well against her. She nearly kills her when she falls into a trap.
Her neck is severed, and she passes away. When she wakes up in the underworld, she doesn't take it lightly and actually drags herself out with the help of someone.
When she gets out she is stuck in the form of a Shadow. Her body was put back together with a golden scar around her throat where she was injured. But her body was also possessed by the White Bone Spirit who used it and her power to escape the void through the shadows.
She is fuming, to say the least, but doesn't confront her. Instead, she goes to look for her sister. She finds her rather quickly with her six ears in the city of Megopolis in a small noodleshop. She also finds another Monkey demon named MK (who covers up his ears and eyes with a glamour)
>>>
Mk or Xiaotian was in shock to find a monkey demon in the city. Most preferred the forests or the mountains where they didn't have to deal with humans or other demons. His shock is turned to excitement at the young demoness who couldn't have been more than 15.
He is dense and doesn't use his golden eyes of truth, so he doesn't see her true form through her glamour. He takes her in with the help of Mei when they find out she's basically homeless by seeing her sleeping in an alleyway.
He even helps her get a job with Pigsy. She seems more interested in studying with Tang, but he likes to drag her out on deliveries, though. She's like a little sister to him! How can he not want to get to know her a little bit!
>>>
Tao is the first to find out about An from Mk. On a night that his brother decided to stay in town, instead of returning to the mountain, he decided to go into town. His first plan was to spook his brother, a plan that goes straight out of the window.
He goes into the apartment above the piglet's noodle shop, intending to scare his brother but instead sees a young female monkey demob. He is confused by this new addition to his older brother's found family. He also rather quickly takes a liking to her because she reminds him so much of his mother.
He likes to spook her but gets annoyed because it's hard to. She has a good sense of hearing and can easily tell he's there before he even says anything.
He'll have to tell Bao about her.
>>>
Bao meets her second and is quite shocked, to say the least. His first instinct is to use his gold vision on her. He does. He is in shock when he sees her from her six ears, golden eyes and the roses decorating her hair he doesn't know how to react.
She is their sister, but how? That would only mean. But they saw her die. What the hell is going on!? Time travel? It had to be, but how could it be time travel? Unless their mother gets reincarnated, but she wouldn't be able to be older than 15 since that's how long it's been since she died.
He needs to tell Dad and Baba, No! He needs to make a plan first. And he needs to find out if this is real to begin with. Neither of his brothers sensed anything off so maybe his gold vision needs work. Yeah. That had to be it.
He was just going crazy. Wait, why does she have a scar across her arm? And is she shadow moving? He is definitely going crazy.
>>>
(And oh my word I have put these kids through so much in this au. This is the au where I actually figured out their personalities mostly)

Is Qi Xiaotian the only cub that The Monkey Kings have with Phoenix?
No, he is actually not. The Monkey Kings don't want just one cub and Phoenix absolutely love cubs too so they have several.
There are six that I have already created.
First there is obviously Qi Xiaotian, he is the oldest and takes after all three of his parents. His name is eventually turned to Sun Xiaotian when he meets his dad and Baba though. Depending on the AU sometimes he never had the Qi in front of his name to begin with.
Second and Third are twins. They are Bao and Tao.
Sun Bao is reckless and impulsive just like his dad, which Phoenix found odd because he looks like the spitting image of Macaque. He had pure white fur, with striking gold eyes. A dark purple face mask covers his face. And he has six ears like his Baba.
Sun Tao is the opposite of his brother. He is calm and thinks things through before he goes causing havoc. Of course he is still chaotic like his brothers though. He has golden fur and dark golden eyes. He shares the same dark red face mask as his dad and has six ears like his Baba.
The last three are actually Triplets. Their parents were ecstatic though one passed out when they found out that they were having triplets.
Sun Meihua is the oldest of the triplets. She is the spitting image of her Baba and her Mama. She has beautiful white fur with a light pink heart shaped mask across her face. Like most of her siblings she also has beautiful golden eyes. Roses decorate her long fur, along with the eight beads that she has woven in a single braid. Each symbolizing one of her family members. She is also calm and calculated like her Baba.
Sun Jing is the second youngest of all the cubs and the second born of the triplets. She is strong and impulsive, taking mostly after her dad. She is the only cub of the family that only has two ears too, though they are more sensitive than a normal demon's. She has beautiful golden fur, with a red face mask that flares out at the bottom.
Sun An, is the youngest cub that the trio has. The one who nearly didn't make it the day she was born. She is the 'weakest' of her siblings and takes the most after her mother. If it weren't for the six ears, and golden eyes she could be mistaken for her mother. With her dark brown fur, bright red roses and pretty pink heart shaped face mask. She is the kindest and least destructive of all her siblings.

Cub MK meets The Monkey Kings - Phoenixeclipse Pirate AU
Cub Xiaotian sneaks aboard Pigsy’s ship, The Tea & Noodles Ship, with his best friend Ao Long Mei. After they are found out they don’t have much time to get punished as the ship is soon attacked by Pirates. Pirates that are fierce and deadly, known far and wide as… The Brotherhood.
“Pirates!!” Sandy shouted from the crows nest and Tang whipped his head around to look at the incoming ship.
“Damnit! Get these kids below deck,” Pigsy yelled picking both MK and Mei by the backs of their shirts and shoved them into Tang’s hands.
He quickly ran to the doorway dragging the two stowaways below the deck. He couldn’t believe this was happening. First Ao Lie’s granddaughter snuck aboard with her friend. And now pirates, ‘fuck!’ He knew what ship that was too.
‘The brotherhood.’
Gulping down his nerves he rushed to the Captain’s Quarters and set the two down.
“You two need to stay here okay?” He asked slowly hoping the two six year olds.
Unfortunately that was the wrong thing to say to these particular children. Because as soon as MK heard the word pirate he squealed in excitement. Mei followed quickly after as she jumped up and down.
“PIRATES!? Can we see them? Can we!?” They asked in unison both sounding ecstatic.
“What!? No, no! That is dangerous, they could hurt you,” Tang shouted kneeling down to calm the excited children.
The children of course didn’t listen, MK adjusted his hoodie and Mei straightened her shirt before they bolted to the door. Tang had to jump in front of the two and lift them up quickly before they reached it. This proved to be ineffective when MK gripped his shoulder and jumped over him, Mei following shortly after.
“Wait!” He shouted after them.
>>><<<
Above deck everyone was running around trying to find weapons and prepare defenses. There was no telling if The Brotherhood would decide to attack or board the ship. They were definitely not strong enough to stop them either was. All they could do was hope they made it out of this alive, not just for their sake but for the sake of the two kids who snuck aboard.
Everyone was tense with Tang below deck taking care of the children they hoped there wouldn’t be any suspicious behavior. The Brotherhood wasn’t known for hunting children but the crew wouldn’t put it past them.
Pigsy barely had time to react before the wood of the deck suddenly splintered and cracked below Sun Wukong’s feet. Everything went still, he rolled on his feet until he stood up from her crouched position. A teeth bared grin spread across his face his eyes glinting with malice.
“Well, well, well what do we have here?” He asked slowly casually walking forward his hands behind his head.
“Captain Monkey King, w-what an honor,” Sandy spoke up first with a slight bow, they needed to keep him calm and happy. The kids couldn’t even swim yet.
“What is that I hear? One of you know who I am, then that means you know where you are. So would you care to explain what you’re doing in my territory?” He had a feral smile across his face as he spoke with a voice filled with malice.
“We are very sorry! We were merely passing through,” Pigsy apologized giving a deep bow as well.
When his eyes landed on the ground he froze. Below him he saw dark purple glowing eyes watching him from his shadow. The shadows around him swirled before shooting out towards Sun Wukong and forming another Monkey right next to him. The wide smirk across his face was menacing and made him even more fearful than he already was about the situation.
“Hmm, is that so?” The Monkey King asked as his shadow silently watched the scene ahead of them.
Another figure jumped onto the ship causing it to rock even more, knocking several people down. The Monkey Kings and the new figure were the only ones who hadn’t fallen, as soon as the group saw who it was they gulped. Not only the monkey kings but Azure Lion was also standing on their ship and clearly had no intention of leaving.
“Y-Yes, we are heading to do some trading is all,” Pigsy said as he scrambled to his feet.
None of them noticed the two children who were peeking out from below deck, both looking at the pirates who were on the ship. Their eyes twinkled with excitement, though the longer they stayed their Xaiotian slowly got more and more nervous with what was going on. He slowly gulped as he glanced at Mei who was looking at the pirates with an excited expression.
“Trading. Without getting our permission first? That’s a very courageous move on your part,” Sun Wukong laughed as he took a few steps forward, his head held high while he walked as if he owned the ship.
“I am so very sorry, please don’t hurt us,” Pigsy begged as he bowed for a minute, sweat beading on his brow.
“Hmm~ What to do, what to do,” Sun Wukong smirked, clearly enjoying the fear that he instilled within the crew before him.
“Captain, we were going to ‘meet up’ with that spider crew, remember?” Azure spoke up his pink eyes narrowing as he attempted to get his attention back on track.
“Ugh, you just want to ruin all of my fun don’t you Azure,” Sun Wukong groaned loudly as he rolled his eyes.
Pigsy felt a shard of hope at those words. Maybe they would leave without anyone getting hurt. He could only hope as his mind wandered to the two kids that had stowed away on his ship, yet again. They would be fine, he would make sure of that because if he didn’t he would face hell from not only Phoenix but also the entirety of the Dragon Clan. He wasn’t sure which one he deemed as worse.
“We’ll just have to make this quick then,” As Sun Wukong spoke, Pigsy could feel the hope in his chest snap in an instant.
Macaque stood silently behind them, watching and listening to everything around them. His ears fluttered when he heard boards creaking in a distinctive way, there were more people on the ship. Turning his head he looked over to the door that lead below deck and caught sight of the two sets of eyes that looked around the corner. He raised a brow, they were children nothing but young children.
One had black hair with bright green horns and, green streaks in her hair. While the other was wearing a large hoodie that covered most of his face, but he caught sight of the gold of his eyes that came into view for barely a second. Suddenly the two were pulled back under the deck with quiet squeals that were barely audible.
“Xiaotian, Mei, stay away from there. Those pirates are dangerous,” A fearful and quiet voice scowled at the children.
Macaque was curious but turned his head back to his mate and the crew. He didn’t care weather they lived or died in fact he had the urge to tear them to shreds but he held back. There was no need for bloodshed, though he wouldn’t mind it. They were on a tight schedule as Azure had stated before.
“My Sun please make this quick, Azure is correct about needing to leave soon,” He spoke up for the first time causing his mate to turn his head and look at him to give him a smirk.
“Of course, my love~,” He purred in response.
“Stay away from our Captain!” Sandy shouted running in front of Pigsy and standing as a human or rather river demon shield, causing the Monkey King to glare at him before the glare turned into a psychotic smile.
“May I Captain?” Azure spoke up proudly summoning his sword.
“Fine,” Wukong agreed catching the crew before them off guard. Why would he let someone else have his kill? They didn’t understand it. But that wasn’t what they needed to worry about.
Azure stood there with a smile as his blade glistened in the sunlight. Sandy stood his ground eyes never leaving the blade, except for one second to look at the monkeys. Sun Wukong had cuddled up to his shadow, so that was why he allowed it.
Now Sandy wasn’t one to fight a lot but he wouldn’t allow someone to attack his captain. He would not allow for this demon to attack his friends, his family and get away with it as if it were nothing to him. As much as she was sure that was true, he would defend his family, he would not back down even if it was the death of him.
Azure was swift in his movements as he brought the blade down to attack the river demon. The blow was blocked by Sandy’s large neckless that send the lion a few feet back. The two traded blows, or rather Azure dealt blows while Sandy blocked them. He didn’t want this to turn into a full-blown fight, he needed to find a way for them to leave. There were kids on board the ship.
“STAY AWAY FROM MY UNCLE!!” A young girl’s voice suddenly cut through the air.
“MEI NO!” Tang’s voice immediately followed as a flash of green collided with Azure Lion’s arm.
The Lion Demon didn’t get hurt, he didn’t even flinch as he grabbed the back of the young dragon girl’s shirt and held her up in front of him. He was more confused then anything else. His eyes widened when he saw the bright green eyes that stared back at him, a green dragon’s tail and green dragon horns on her head.
“Mei what are you doing!?” Pigsy shouted going to run forward but froze as Azure looked at them with a dark glare.
“Well, well, well what do we have here?” Sun Wukong asked, his attention grabbed when he saw the young child yelling and shrieking as she tried to get out of the lion’s grip.
“It’s one of the children that I saw earlier,” Macaque muttered almost silently, no one heard him too focused on the girl.
His gaze shot back towards the door when there was a crash and a flash of gold slammed into the lion’s arm this time causing him to shout and let go of the girl. The blow threw his arm to one side. He quickly turned his head to look at the attacker and froze as the hood fell off of the kid’s head.
Everyone on the ship froze, it was almost silent aside from the waves slowly hitting the side of the ship and the yelling of the children. Because there attached to Azure’s arm by his teeth was a young monkey cub. Not just any monkey cub, but a six eared and golden eyed cub. Dark brown fur covered his body and a tail wrapped around the lion’s arm as he bit his teeth into the flesh. The bite did nothing to him but he froze in shock, he had no idea what to do about the cub. He couldn’t have been over three, at least based off of his size but demons were known to stay in different stages of life for pretty long periods of time.
“…” Both Macaque and Sun Wukong were speechless as they stared at the cub who shared so many similarities with them. Not only were his eyes golden but he had the same aura as Sun Wukong. Not only did he have six beautiful ears like Macaque but his shadow pulsed with his anger just like his did. Both monkeys knew then and there that this was their kid, he was theirs, no matter what anyone else said.
Azure was the first to speak. “Um, Captain? What do I do with this one?” He asked slowly, trying not to jostle the cub knowing that his Captain would not act kindly to this cub getting hurt.
“Qi Xiaotian let go of him and come here,” Pigsy said speaking up only to get slammed against the wall of the higher deck.
“What did you just say?” Monkey King’s eyes glowed brighter as he glared at the pig, holding him by the throat. What was this man doing with HIS CUB.
“Let Pigsy go!” The boy finally spoke, muffled by his teeth still in the lion.
Macaque was the only one who understood him. He walked towards the cub slowly as Peng and Yellow Tusk suddenly landed aboard the ship because they were taking too long. Sandy was pinned down by Peng and Yellow Tusk held back the human who was yelling at him to stay away from the cubs. Of course, The Brotherhood didn’t listen to any of them.
Macaque’s eyes were glued on the child as he walked up to him. Azure turned to allow better access to him. Even with his six ears he didn’t register the shouts of the crew as he scooped the cub up into his arms, gently pulling him away from the lion. With a little difficulty he pulled the cub into his arms and his eyes watered ever so slightly as he was stared at with eyes that looked identical to his mate’s before the Heist with the Navy.
The cub struggled in his arms but Macaque didn’t care. He was so small, so weak, so defenseless, yet he held so much potential and in his tiny hands Macaque already knew that he held so much control over him. His attention was only shifted when he noticed the slightly older child gripping at his leg. The dragon girl, she was trying to protect her friend, how sweet. His son deserves a loyal friend.
“My Moon, he’s perfect,” Sun Wukong said as he walked up and gently patted the cub on the head. He must have knocked out the pig, with a flutter of his ears he knew that the pig was still alive.
“Let me go,” His son growled trying to wiggle free before he let out a few chirps.
Of course, neither monkey did that, they only chirped back at the boy in their arms. Azure suddenly picked up the dragon girl and looked at her as she struggled in his grip, glaring harshly at him. He gave her a warm smile; she was only a child even if she was apart of the dragon clan.
“What do we do with this one?” He asked turning to his Captain.
“We’ll take them both,” Macaque cut in as he used a shadow clone to pick up the dragon girl. “Love, don’t kill them. They were taking care of our cub after all.”
“But-.”
“We wouldn’t have found him if not for them,” He added.
“Fine,” Sun Wukong groaned dramatically.
Sandy and Tang shouted at them but were too late to do anything as Macaque sunk into his shadow. In an instant him and the cubs were gone, he had gone straight to the brotherhood’s ship. Both of the children were struggling in his arms, but he paid it little mind as he traveled below deck to his and Wukong’s room. He set the two down and smiled when Xiaotian went to punch him, failing miserably.
He would have to remedy his poor attacks, but there was plenty of time for that. With a grin covering his face he knelt down to look at the two in the eyes. Grabbing the girl’s hand that went to punch him, careful not to hurt her.
“Now, let’s get you two some better clothes,” He said looking the two up and down before realizing that they definitely didn’t have any clothes in their sizes. He also couldn’t have his mate use his fur because of how rambunctious these two clearly were. Frowning he pushed that thought aside for later, they could do that later.
“Never mind on that, are you two hungry?” He asked as he watched the kids.
Xiaotian was standing in front of Mei slightly shaking as he looked up at Macaque. He was nervous, there was no need for him to be nervous. Well there was, he was a famous and powerful pirate after all, and he surely didn’t realize that he wasn’t going to hurt him yet.
“I’ll get you two some food, would you like to come with me?” He asked careful not to make any sudden moves.
Both of the children looked at each other before looking back up at Macaque. Both crossed their arms and shook their heads. He was incredibly proud when he saw this, his son was smart not to accept food from strangers. However, he also needed to make sure he eats so this denial could pose a problem.
Before he was able to say anything else the door of the room slammed open and Wukong came jumping in. Immediately he hit his knees and looked Xiaotian at eye level with a wide toothy grin spread across his face. Their cub jumped back in shock breathing heavily as he stared at the two with fear.
“Don’t worry my precious cub. We’re not gonna hurt you, we’re your Dad and your Baba,” Wukong said with a grin, his eyes twinkled happily.
“Nu uh, my dads are the monkey kings,” He immediately pouted crossing his arms catching both of them off guard.
Macaque and Wukong looked at each other for a moment. He knew that they were his parents, but how? He knew that the monkey kings were his dads, that rose so many questions.
“How do you know that bud?” Macaque asked extending out a hand only to have it pushed away by the protective little dragon.
“Hands off my brother!!” Mei growled.
“… We never mated with a dragon, right?” Wukong whispered to Macaque only to get slapped on the back of the head.
“He has my ears you know,” The two looked back at the cubs. Fortunately for Wukong neither of them understood what was said, the dragon girl more than likely not even realizing something was said at all. The two were cuddled together trying to shield each other from the monkey demons.
“Sorry. He’s so cute! He even has… do you think he is her kid? Do you think?” Wukong started as his eyes widened in excitement, his tail thumping against the ground at the thought.
“Hey buddy. Can you tell us who your parents are?” Macaque asked, his own hope sky rocketing. His fur looked just like her hair, and the thought of her being alive sent him so much joy that he couldn’t help but hope.
“Mama and the monkey kings,” He replied confidently causing the two in front of him to nearly facepalm.
“… Okay- Who is your mama?” Wukong asked his eye twitching. He needed this, he needed the confirmation, or he felt like he would go crazy.
“… Mama is mama,” was the response that caused both monkey demons to groan.
Of course he didn’t know, he was much too young. This was okay though, if he was her kid then she would be sure to come find him. For now it was almost time for dinner. As if on que Xiaotian and Mei’s stomach’s growled causing the two above them to chuckle.
“I’ll get some food for you. Hold onto this for me,” Wukong took off his cap and set it onto Xiaotian’s head, which immediately covered his eyes with the size.
“So cute!~” Macaque grinned as he gushed over his cub’s cuteness.
“Hey! Stay away from my brother!!” Mei shouted again waving her hands around but overall unable to do anything. The attack on Azure must have drained all of their energy because both of the children looked as though they were about to fall asleep.
>>><<<
Unaware to the crew however back in Metropolis Xiaotian’s mother was rushing after Ao Lie as the two flew through the sky. Pigsy’s ship was one of the fastest around because of Sandy who kept everything up to his standards. Which meant fast travels but also meant that it would take a long time before the duo could catch up to them.
“Don’t worry Xiaotian I’m coming,” Phoenix muttered praying that nothing bad would happen while she was away from him. He was much too young to be on his own, what was he thinking stowing aboard a ship like that?
Notes:
How did this end up like double the word length I normally make?? I don't know but I love it! I hope you have enjoyed this, leave a comment and like if you did please. It is very much appreciated.

Mother-Mother River Phoenixeclipse Jttw AU
The group passes by the Mother-Mother River. Macaque fights with himself and Wukong helps him to decide on a bad decision. Phoenix is oblivious to their bad ideas thinking they see her as a simple friend.
“Wow. What a surprise. Another fucking river!” Wukong yelled angrily. He could barely believe that he was still on this dumb mission.
“Wukong please don’t be mad,” Phoenix spoke up, they had just convinced him to come back again she really didn’t want him to run away again.
Oh, that’s right. Wukong stared at Phoenix for a moment before huffing, she was the reason that they were staying. If it hadn’t been for her damned shield than they could just take her back home without having to stay. It would be so easy, just to grab her and take her back to Flower Fruit Mountain.
He let out an exadurated sigh as he followed closely behind her. He should have just trapped her on the mountain last time she came over. She would have gotten over the Monk’s death eventually. The thought crossed his mind again, it was such a lovely dream. Unfortunately one that would have to wait until he found a way to break that damned shield.
“Whatever,” he rolled his eyes.
“Brother monkey please calm down. We need to be resilient until we reach the Buddha,” Sandy spoke up with a shout.
Wukong just rolled his eyes again, the river demon was far too cheerful for his tastes. Turning he was about to start ranting again when he noticed his mate standing a ways back staring intently at the river. Curious he jumped back over to Macaque. He looked him over noticing how his eyes hadn’t left the water.
“Moon~ is something wrong??” He asked cautiously, if something was wrong then that was never a good sign.
“… Don’t drink that water,” was the only thing said. Wukong was confused but shrugged as they finally reached the bank. They were far enough back that no one else heard them.
On the river bank the group noticed a boat. Wukong stared at it for a while but after seeing it was a normal mortal woman he shrugged. He didn’t care to know why this woman was doing a man’s job and wasn’t going to pry. He was much more concerned with the way his Moon continued to stare at the water. His eyes dilated and his tail lashed back and forth, while his hands were clenched into fists while he hugged himself.
“Does anyone need a ride?” The woman asked with a warm smile.
“That would be great actually,” Phoenix spoke up with a grin.
Wukong examined the way that Macaque’s eyes snapped towards their soon to be bride when she spoke. The way his tail puffed up and the way his gaze snapped between the water and her. Something was up, and he was going to figure it out.
“Moon~ care to explain your nerves??” He whispered leaning against his mate’s ears.
The moment their eyes met, Wukong knew that something was brewing in his head. Some sort of plan that had him excited and desperate. What that plan was however was beyond him. Whatever the plan was, was probably fantastic if it was from his beloved Moon though.
“…” he didn’t respond turning away again causing Wukong to frown. He must have been really deep in thought.
>>><<<
Deep in thought he was, Macaque knew what the river did. The Mother Mother River. It was right in front of them, it was right there. All he had to do was mix in some DNA from him and Wukong and then… the very thought made him drool.
Fuck, she would look so cute, nice and round with their cubs. So, so cute and delicate. It would be all the more reason to stay safe and protected on Flower Fruit Mountain. Where she was safe and provided for. Where she could raise their cubs happily. Where she couldn’t escape their grasp.
The thoughts pounded in his head. It was wrong, it would be so wrong to do that to her. She deserved to choose when she wanted cubs and Macaque was more than willing to wait for such a time.
But… it was right there. She could have their cubs growing in the next few months. They would have his Sun’s beautiful golden eyes. They would have her pretty brown hair. They would have his six ears. They would be so small, so cute, so- perfect.
He’s wanted cubs since before the attack on heaven. Both he and Wukong have wanted cubs for a long time. The thought that not only would they have cubs but their sweet merciful flame being the one to carry them. It sent him spiraling with a selfish desire.
It would stake their claim onto her. She could hate them for it. She would be theirs. She was theirs. But it could hurt her. The thought of hurting her gave him a feeling of disgust for not only the idea but himself for actually thinking about it. It could break her trust in them forever.
They had already slept together before though. It’s not as if she’d know that it was the water that did it. It could have just been that night, when they had gotten drunk. Of course she had been such a cute and flirty drunk.
So many thoughts flew through his head as he tried to tell himself that it was a bad idea. She wasn’t pregnant, she would have already had a few symptoms surely. It was such a long time ago. She would surely know that it wasn’t from that night. Unless… it wasn’t as if stone monkeys breed that often. There was no studies that showed how long it took for one to be with child.
Fuck!! He was thinking about it again! All it would take was one, tiny sip. Then she would be well and thoroughly claimed as theirs. The image of Phoenix draped in their silk sheets, heavily pregnant and barefoot in their nest. The very thought had Macaque purring, she would look so perfect.
*Snap* *Snap* *Snap*
“Macaque!” Phoenix suddenly yelled causing Macaque to flinch in shock.
His face burned when he noticed everyone staring at him. They were waiting for him to get on the boat. He grumbled a ‘sorry,’ as he jumped up onto the boat right next to Phoenix who was looking at him with a worried expression. As the boat began to move he felt her hand get laid onto his forehead.
“You’re not overheating,” she frowned, the worried expression not going away.
She was so precious. Seeing him concentrated and she was worried about him. It almost made him flush, but he refused to let that happen.
“I’m fine,” he grumbled forcing himself to pull away from her.
“Are you sure?” She questioned; her face still covered with worry.
Oh what he would do to keep her by his side. It would be so easy, all he had to do was… his eyes glanced at the water again. She wouldn’t suspect a thing, all she would know would be that she was gaining weight. How cute and perfect she would look, to see her shuffling around not only their nest but also just hanging around the island. Not out of their sight of course, she would have to be protected at all costs.
Feeling her hand on his shoulder he jumped back a bit. He needed to get those thoughts out of his head, they were much too dangerous to think about- But she would be bound to them not only as a mate but as the mother of their child, no their children. They could have a whole tribe of cubs, they would protect them, love them, feed them… She would breast feed them of course, while she grew another one.
No! They would want to space it out, wouldn’t want too many cubs at once. The first one from the water and after that they could woo her until she was sure not to reject them. If she had their child, she wouldn’t be able to bring herself to keep them away of course. She was far more likely to stay by their side, after all she wouldn’t be able to protect them alone. She would need help, their help~
“Hey! Moon! You’re distracted again,” Wukong hollered at him with an annoyed tone.
Just like that his fantasy popped and he was forcing himself to calm down again. The whole plan was stupid, it would be better to woo her some other way. Like courting her properly, with gifts, showing off their skills, providing food for her, scent marking her, court-napping her~
At the thought of that he felt Phoenix try to shake him and immediately he jumped up and into his Sun’s cloud. Wukong nearly fell off of it in shock as Macaque cuddled into him. Surprised at the turn of events but didn’t reject his mate from the cuddles. It would be even better if their flame was cuddled with them but the last time, he tried that he got decked in the face. Probably because he had scooped her up without revealing what he was doing, but that was besides the point.
“Must be in a bad mood,” Pigsy grunted with annoyance.
“You think?” Phoenix asked, looking up at the duo on the cloud. That was too bad, hopefully he would feel better soon.
“Moon what are…” His words were cut off when his mate whispered in his ear.
“The river below us is the mother-mother river… it makes those who drink it become with child,” Macaque whispered and all at once Wukong knew what his mate had been thinking.
Oh, that would be a perfect plan. The very thought of their sweet flame ripe and round with THEIR child, proving to everyone just who she belonged to would be perfect. Why did he look so nervous and worried about this? Of course he would agree to this plan. To have Phoenix brought back home not only as their mate but as the mother of their unborn child would be a dream come true.
>>><<<
“Phoenix are you alright?” Tripitaka asked as he glanced at Phoenix with a worried expression across his face.
“Huh? Oh yes, I’m fine,” She laughed waving her hand.
“Are you sure my dear?” The boat maiden asked her gaze soft and kind.
“Huh? Oh yes. I’m perfectly fine. I was just worried about my friends is all,” they were friends, right?
They had stopped trying to attack the group a long time ago and started showering her in gifts trying to be friendly. She honestly wasn’t sure why they insisted on getting her gifts when they were just trying to be friends, but she also knew that they had an odd way of expressing emotions. So of course they were friends. She could say that confidently, after all why else would they had gotten so pissed off when someone tried to court her?
That had happened right after… that night. Her face flushed at the memory, but she quickly pushed it away. Neither Macaque nor Wukong had mentioned it again and they had all been drunk. It meant nothing, it was just a drunken mistake was all.
“We’ve arrived. I wish you well on your travels,” The maiden said with a slight bow as the group quickly got off of the boat.
Phoenix glanced up at the monkey kings who were still sitting half on top of each other on the cloud. She couldn’t help but smile, they must have just wanted some alone time. She was glad that they were so happy together. She turned around without much thought unaware of the argument that was being spoken between the two simians above them.
The group continued walking for a while. There was a town up ahead not too far from the river and they would make it far before night fell. It would be the perfect place to rest for a while, at least that’s what Phoenix thought. She just hoped that the monk in front of her thought the same thing.
Up above her there was a tension between the two monkey demons.
“Wukong I want to as much as you but it’s wrong,” Macaque growled lowly.
“But she will look so beautiful when she’s with our child. Just imagine it,” He whispered back sending a shiver down the six eared monkey’s spine.
“But we don’t even know if she wants cubs,” Mac tried to persuade his mate, he shouldn’t have said anything. Especially when all of his reasons not to were easily deflected.
“You and me both know that she wants cubs. Not to mention she was so good with the baby monkeys on the mountain. Remember~?” The thought was so tranquilizing, it made his whole body stiffen. She had been so careful and motherly when that baby monkey had jumped into her arms. She cradled it to her chest and cooed as if it were the most precious thing in the world, a beautiful little cub that cuddled up to her without any sense of danger.
“Just think about it. She would have to stop this stupid journey and come home with us. She would soon become ripe and full with OUR cubs. She wouldn’t be able to fight back against us anymore like that~ We would keep her safe, and provided for. No one would be able to take her from us,” Wukong purred into Macaque’s ear happily.
It was that last sentence that seemed to make the Moon Monkey crack. His eyes dilated into slits as his tail curled up with his mate’s. A deep purr rumbled through him and Wukong knew that he had won him over. They were going to have a cub! A precious little cub with their beautiful, merciful, Phoenix. The thought caused him to start purring too.
As dazed eyes looked back up at his, Wukong grinned. A kiss landed on his lips and Wukong leaned into his mate. Claws dug into fur as they both purred happily, neither letting the other go. Each were trying to practically devour the other. They only released each other when they heard that annoying pig.
“Hey! Master told me to go get water! You two have to come with!” Pigsy called, an annoyed look across his face. He clearly didn’t want the monkey demons to tag along, but to them in was the perfect excuse to get exactly what they wanted.
“Ugh!” Macaque dramatically groaned, hiding the thoughts that were in his head. They were going to make her theirs. She was theirs and NO ONE could take her from them EVER.
>>><<<
“Are you sure it was a good idea to send Sun and Mac with Pigsy?” Phoenix asked nervously glancing back towards the river.
“It should be fine. They don’t attack people anymore remember,” Tripitaka said with a shrug, one that had Phoenix grow more nervous.
Sure, the two hadn’t attacked any humans in their path recently but that didn’t really say much. As much as Phoenix cared for the two at this point it didn’t mean she trusted either of them to be alone. Especially with Pigsy who had a tendency to piss them off with his own arrogance.
“If you say so…” She muttered quietly. They wouldn’t kill the pig demon, that would send both of them into a painful torture for hours. They weren’t stupid. Reckless and destructive? Yes. But they were not stupid in any sense of the word.
As if knowing they were being thought of, both monkeys suddenly appeared from the ground. Or more accurately a shadow portal. Wukong let out a loud hoot as he jumped out, twirling his mate into his arms. Phoenix couldn’t help but chuckle at their giddy nature.
“We’re back,” Pigsy said, breathing deeply as he held up a bowl of water to Tripitaka.
“We got you some too,” Wukong said holding out a bowl of water for Phoenix.
Initially she was surprised by it but as she thought back to the many times that the monkey demons had given her food she couldn’t help but smile. It was in their nature to take care of those they considered to be friends after all. She took the bowl from his hands not noticing the way his eyes twinkled with excitement.
If she had paid attention, she would have noticed the slight golden and purple glow that shimmered in the water. But as she closed her eyes to drink it thankfully neither color was noticed. She drank happily until the bowl was empty.
“Thank you!” She grinned truly thankful for their attentive nature.
“No problem,” Wukong grinned, a lovesick smile gliding onto his lips.
“Do you need anything else? Food? More water?” Macaque asked his tail thumping against the ground. His initial poor mood seemingly gone, though Phoenix still didn’t know how he came about that mood.
“No thank you. We should head over to the inn though, we’re almost there,” Phoenix said pointing towards the town with a grin.
“Of course,” Wukong grinned, both him and Macaque walking right next to her.
Usually, they would travel on his cloud or Macaque would hide in the shadows. It was odd for them to walk right next to her, not the first time they had done this, but it wasn’t often. At the change in demeaner, a strange feeling settled in Phoenix’s stomach. She narrowed her eyes, what did they do? Surely it was something if they were acting like this.
Just as she was about to ask, she heard Tripitaka and Pigsy groan. Her head snapped to look at them as she ran over to see them both kneeled over as they clutched their stomachs.
“Hey, are you two okay!?” She yelled, fear lacing her tone.
“My stomach hurts,” Tripitaka groaned laying on the ground, he sounded as if he was about to die. A part of Phoenix told her he was probably being dramatic, but she wasn’t for sure.
“I’m dying,” Pigsy groaned, now he was definitely being dramatic.
Phoenix immediately began using her gift of healing to help the pain go away for the both of them. She had no idea what was happening to them and was rather fearful on what was going on. She was so preoccupied that she didn’t even notice the elderly woman walk up to them until she spoke.
“Are you all okay?” Phoenix jumped at her words, looking up at the woman in shock.
“We don’t know what’s going on with our master and companion! They just fell over after drinking some water,” Sandy finally spoke up, as he tried to help sit Tripitaka up who was leaning against Ao Lie.
“Water? What water did they drink?” The woman asked, her face creased in slight worry as she pursed her lips.
Phoenix didn’t notice how Macaque bit his lip, at first it was with worry. She was about to figure out what they had done surely. No, she had no way of knowing that they knew what they had done.
“The water from the river,” Phoenix explained and as soon as she did the woman began to chuckle before she let out a full-blown laugh.
“What’s so funny!?” Pigsy yelled through his pain.
“The river, as in that river?” The woman asked pointing back at the river that they had taken the water from.
“Yes, that river. What about it?” Phoenix asked irritably, why would someone laugh while another is in clear pain.
She also wasn’t sure if it was the river that caused their pain. After all Macaque and Wukong had gotten her some water too and she was perfectly fine. Why would the water cause Tripitaka and Pigsy to be in pain but not her. Then again, she was immune to most poisons but surely there wasn’t a whole river that was poisoned. Right?
“You see, this land is a land of all women,” The woman began with a smile.
“Okay? Cool what does that have to do with-,” Phoenix cut in but was cut off by the woman who was telling the story.
“We have no men here, when a woman wants to get pregnant… they go to the mother-mother river. When the water is drank, it allows the woman to be with child,” She explained.
It took a moment before the facts set in. Tripitaka, Pigsy and Phoenix had drank water from the mother-mother river. They were all… PREGNANT!?
“What!?” Phoenix shouted in shock, her worry for her friends shut off when the fact that she herself was with child hit her brain.
Of course, she then pushed it away when she looked at Tripitaka and Pigsy. She had a female body; she was meant to carry children biologically… it could kill the two in front of her if they were to be with child. Their bodies clearly not designed to carry life within them as females did. It was a part of nature that way.
“So you’re telling us that... Tripitaka and Pigsy are… pregnant?” Sandy asked his shock evident across his face.
Behind them Wukong suddenly burst into a fit of laughter. He fell to his knees as he clutched his stomach deep laughter rolling freely out of him as he cackled. He had been so caught up in his plan for his beloved darling that he didn’t even think about Pigsy and the monk. He laughed and laughed unable to control his laughter.
Faintly he heard Sandy follow suit with the laughter. Of course, the river demon was also amused about the situation.
“What!? How do we fix this!?” Pigsy shouted angrily.
“Fix this? Aw yes. You must follow the river up to the source where the river begins in the mountain. Within the mountain is another spring, that is where one can choose to… terminate the pregnancy,” The woman explained calmly.
Almost immediately Phoenix felt herself relax; her friends would be safe. She knew that a child could not grow within them, it would die before their life could even begin. Her heart was pained at the thought, but she knew there was nothing that could be done about it.
“Wukong, Macaque, Sandy you three go find the spring and bring back the water,” Tripitaka ordered quickly, he was still clutching his stomach in pain.
Wukong’s laughter all but seized immediately before he looked up at the monk and scowled. He hated when the monk told him what to do. He had no right to… but that wasn’t what he was truly worried about right now. If they got the cure than his own cub… His face twisted into a snarl. Phoenix was carrying their cub! There was no reason for her to get rid of such a blessing!
“Hold up why should we fix your-!?” Wukong shut up when Macaque placed a hand on his shoulder and squeezed.
It was a silent warning, it he kept talking it could ruin their well thought out plan. Or rather the plan that they both jumped into without actually paying attention to the consequences, even though they knew what they could be. Macaque knew that they were on thin ice, they were close to being found out. He couldn’t have that, they were expected to fix their companions’ fuck up.
“I drank the water too. Why am I not in pain?” Phoenix finally spoke up, a nervous look spread across her face.
“… It would probably be because you were born female. You were born female, correct?” The woman asked with a genuine smile.
“Yes. I was, I am female,” Phoenix nodded.
“Your body is accepting the child gracefully. However as neither of your other companions are well female they can’t exactly carry children,” The woman explained calmly.
The explanation calmed Phoenix a bit. They were like this because of their gender, in pain with the possibility of death looming over their heads. As for her, there was no threat to her with a child growing in her stomach.
“Sandy, Wukong and Macaque go get Tripitaka and Pigsy the water,” Phoenix said glancing at the three who hadn’t yet moved.
“What about you?” Sandy asked a worried expression across his face.
Phoenix stayed silent for a while. She didn’t know what to do taking the water would be the same as killing an innocent child that was growing within her. The thoughts of her family crossed her mind. She knew that her siblings would see her as a monster for a choice like that. Her master would be proud of such a decision, one that would prove that she didn’t feel what they felt.
She didn’t know what to do. Her vision blurred; tears threatened to fill her eyes but she fought them back. It would be dangerous to bring a child, a cub, on the journey with her. Right? But… they were only a few villages from her family. Surely, they would reach her cousins before the child was born. She had at least nine months, if not more not being human and all. She gritted her teeth as she tried to decide what to do.
Comment if you think I should make a part two. I thought about adding more to this but had changed my mind when I saw the word count... 😅

Phoenixeclipse Pirate AU - The Monkey Kings and Their Cub
Captain Sun Wukong and The Six Eared Macaque have a cub, now they have to learn how to take care of him and make sure he eats his food. It’s difficult when he clearly doesn’t trust either of them.
“No!” Xiaotian yelled as he slapped the chopsticks of food away from his face.
It had been three hours since he had been brought aboard the Brotherhood’s ship. The entire time both the captain and right hand were all over him trying to talk to him but now they were focused on feeding him. Earlier he was able to get away with not eating but now neither monkey demon would leave him alone. They were very insistent that he needed to eat.
“Come on Xiaotian, you need to eat,” Macaque insisted holding up the chopsticks to his mouth again.
The cub slapped his hand away once again with a huff, crossing his arms across his chest angrily. He wore a deep scowl as he glared harshly at his baba, what Macaque insisted he be called.
“No! Don’t wanna,” He growled kicking his feet on the chair that he sat on.
“Are you sure you have this under control?” Azure spoke up from across the table a worried look across his face, a vast difference from Peng who was almost cackling next to him.
“He sure does have your attitude, doesn’t he Macaque,” Peng laughed as he ate his own food with a smirk.
Macaque threw a glare towards the bird and nearly snarled but held himself back. With a sigh he took the whole bowl of noodles into his hand and lifted it up to his cub. He hoped that the smell would help get him hungrier so that he would be inclined to eat. When all he got was another huff he frowned before getting an idea, he took some of the noodles and brought them to his own mouth.
Xiaotian’s eyes widened as he watched Macaque take a bite of the food. His determination seemed to waver at the sight of the older monkey eating the food without any issues. He looked down sheepishly, not so ready to deny it again. His stomach was starting to hurt, he wanted food, he had been hungry for a while.
“Mama said no food from strangers!!” He suddenly yelled, closing his eyes so he wouldn’t look at the food.
“Come on Bud. We’re not strangers, we’re the monkey kings like we said before. We are your dad and your baba,” Wukong said as he walked over holding an angry dragon girl by the back of her shirt. She was kicking her feet and flailing her arms.
Xiaotian seemed to faulter again for just a moment before he saw his friend’s situation. Immediately he jumped down from his seat and ran over to the king, banging his little fists against his leg. It didn’t hurt the king far from it, honestly it wouldn’t even make a good massage with how weak it was. That thought caused Wukong to frown, his son was so weak, and defenseless. How could his mother leave him like this?
“I’m not going to hurt her, she’s just not allowed in the storage room,” He said as he set the dragon girl down, he still didn’t know her name yet.
His cub immediately went to check his friend over for wounds. He couldn’t help but smile, they were absolutely adorable. His son being more adorable of course, he did after all share features with himself and his beloved moon. He wondered where the roses came from but brushed it off for now. They could deal with that information later, as long as it didn’t hurt his cub he’d leave it be.
“Now you two need to eat. How are you going to grow big and strong if you don’t eat?” Macaque asked, a slight frown on his face as he tried to give the children food again.
Both the grown monkey demons beamed when their cub finally took a bite of food. Slowly he chewed it before his eyes widened excitedly snatching the bowl from Macaque, sloshing some of the soup onto the ground. They would have to clean that up later. At least he was finally eating.
“Mei, have some, you need food,” their cub grinned letting the girl cautiously take the chopsticks and eat some of the food.
It only took about two or three minutes before the food was gone. Wukong watched his cub with pride, this was his cub, his! Oh, he would have to show him off, everyone had to know not to mess with his cub. He was on the ship with them and it’s not like they were going to let him leave so people knowing wouldn’t hurt.
“I know that look,” Macaque spoke up as he pushed himself into Wukong’s side, wrapping an arm around his waist.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Wukong pouted as Xiaotian walked over to them with the empty bowl and held it up with wide puppy eyes.
“Do you want some more?” Mac asked with a grin.
As soon as their cub nodded both Macaque and Wukong chirped happily at how adorable he looked. They watched his ears flutter and he scrunched his nose in confusion. He looked up at them with a confused look. At first they didn’t understand and Macaque let out another chirp to question it. That’s when they realized that he didn’t understand the chirps. Oh their poor baby.
Quickly Wukong scooped Xiaotian up into his arms and nuzzled his fur, they would have to teach him that. Mei screeched when she saw her friend in the captain’s arms and started hitting his leg to no avail. All she got was a laugh before she too was pulled into his arms. While he didn’t nuzzle her like his own cub he still made sure to keep her in a firm but not harsh grasp.
“Your Baba is going to get you some more food. Why don’t I tell you some stories in the meantime about my time as The Pirate Captain Sun Wukong, The Monkey King, The Great Sage Equal To Heaven,” He boasted proudly, his cub’s struggles stopped as he looked up at Wukong with wide eyes.
“You the Monkey King???” Xiaotian asked with wide eyes and an awestruck voice.
“Why yes I am, the one and only… well one of two, your Baba is the other Monkey King,” Wukong said proudly as he set the kids down.
Both kids sat down without complaint, crossing their legs and leaned towards him listening closely. He was sure that Mei was only following Xiaotian’s example but that didn’t matter to him as he began to tell stories of his great adventures, including the time they attacked The Pillars Crew, one of the only ships he let go free.
“The attack on The Pillars Crew was one of the most difficult battles we ever faced,” He began with a huge grin.
“That’s only because you fell for that human,” Peng interjected with a laugh. He immediately flinched back when he received a deadly glare sent his way.
With Peng shut up Wukong looked back to the kids and continued the story. He would deal with his crew member’s arrogant mouth later. For now he intended to make a good impression on his cub, and hopefully he would be able to get some information on his mother.
“Now we were in a fierce battle, the crew before us had powers of all kinds. Including one who was very capable of using life and fire magic,” His heart hurt slightly to talk about it, but he didn’t care. Her name would never leave his heart, nor his mind. She was forever going to be seen as a powerful opponent, he would make sure of that.
Macaque came over with two bowls in hand placing one in front of each of the children who sat on the floor. It wasn’t preferable for them to eat on the floor, but at the moment it was the only way they seemed to eat. Both children slowly ate as they listened intently to the monkey demon who captivated them with stories. At such a young age they calmed down from their change of location rather quickly.
They would adjust to life with the Brotherhood, one way or another. Both Macaque and Wukong would make sure of that. That reminded him, he walked over to Yellow tusk who was finishing his food.
“Yellow tusk, I need you to give them both a checkup. We don’t know how long they’ve already been at sea or what their lives have been like,” he said quietly, peaking to make sure that his son hadn’t heard. Luckily, he was too enraptured by his husband’s boasting.
“Of course, I will get everything ready. I can give it to them whenever you need,” Yellow tusk replied calmly with a nod.
“Good, for now well make sure that they are settling in well,” Macaque added before heading back to his husband, watching how the two children hadn’t moved from their spots. Their heads were slowly drooping, and eyes were closing but they kept trying to shake it off.
“Looks like someone is ready for bed,” Wukong spoke up, once again scooping the two into his arms. They didn’t protest, instead cuddling up into his arms as they yawned.
“Pirates are cool,” Mei muttered quietly, clearly she enjoyed the Storytime.
“Mhmm,” Xiaotian didn’t have enough energy to speak as he nuzzled into his dad.
“Yes, we are,” Wukong chuckled before he turned around to head back to his chambers.
For now, that was where the children would stay, at least until they had a suitable room for them. That would only happen after they landed and got some more supplies, but he didn’t really care. As he tucked in the children, he turned he couldn’t help but stare at the kids for a while. They would make fantastic pirates with that thought he walked out of the room with a smile across his face. This was perfect.
However, when he walked out, he heard chirping from in the room. Macaque almost zoomed past him to check on the cub who was half asleep letting out sleepy chirps. He was scooped up into his baba’s arms and his destressed chirps quieted down as he let out sniffles.
“What’s wrong bud? Is something not to your liking?” Mac asked with a frown.
“I want mama,” he muttered, beads of tears in his eyes.
Mac’s heart clenched when he saw this. He didn’t even know who his mother was, the only person that came to mind he thought was dead for the past several years. Of course, maybe there was a chance she survived but she surely would have come to them for help. Especially if she had their child.
“Shh, Shh, it’s alright. We’ll… we’ll find your mama. Just go to sleep for now,” He started humming as Wukong wrapped his arm around his waist and set his free hand onto their cub’s head.
It would be okay, finding one female shouldn’t be that difficult. Right?
Xiaotian’s sniffles soon turned into wails as he cried for his mother. Wukong pulled him from Macaque’s arms trying to comfort him with soft chirps and coos, but nothing seemed to work. Both Monkey Kings were frantic trying to figure out why their cub was so distressed. If it was wanting his mother, they didn’t know what to do. They still didn’t even know who his mother was let alone where.
“Hey, hey, how about you tell us about your mama. We can find her if you need her that much,” Mac said patting his head gently as Wukong bounced him in his arms.
“Mama… Mama,” He muttered his wails turned into sniffles as he muttered.
“Pwetty, kind, strong,” He stated, causing both monkey kings to sweat drop. How were they supposed to use any of this information to find her.
“What make her pretty?” Wukong asked, hoping for something more descriptive.
“Woses, feathews, pwetty eyes!!” Xiaotian said reaching his arms up as his sniffles calmed, thinking about what made his mama pretty.
Macaque looked at Wukong with a frown. This was going to take a while. He could tell that already.
Still haven't gotten to Phoenix, but here's some fluff. Mostly fluff, Xiaotian is having a difficult time in the transition. First he stowed away on a ship and then ended up with cool and terrifying pirates. How fun! Crossposted on Ao3, just like most of my longer stuff.

Phoenixeclipse College AU Pt 2
Meeting Bai He The Monkey Cub
Phoenix's babysitter didn't show up for work so she had to watch her niece while at work. Sun Wukong and Macaque choose this time to come for a nice bowl of sorbet.
“EEK!” Scarlet squealed the moment her eyes landed on the small monkey cub that walked into her café holding the hand of her employee.
The monkey cub wasn’t taller than a foot, with wide blue eyes, dark black fur and a happily wagging tail. She looked up at the owner of the café with wide eyes that were filled with excitement and joy. She was adorable dressed in an oversized shirt that fell down to her ankles. Her shoes were old but rather sturdy.
“I am so sorry, the babysitter flaked out last minute. I came over to tell you that I don’t know if I can work my-,” Phoenix began to rapidly explain before she was cut off by the cooing redhead.
“She is so cute~! How come you never brought this darling here before!?” Scarlet squealed clearly holding back the need to scoop up the adorable cub.
“… Because this is work and… yeah,” Phoenix didn’t really know how to respond as her boss squealed and cooed over her niece. A warm feeling filled her chest at the sight. “As I was saying, I don’t think I’ll be able to stay for work…”
“Oh that’s alright. But are you sure? You said you really needed the money. Oh I’ve got an idea. How about I get some paper and crayons from my office. If she is well behaved, she can take the table in the back, no one goes back their anyways, but it is in perfect view of me and you,” Scar exclaimed her eyes sparkling at the thought before she rushed away without giving Phoenix time to respond.
She blinked in shock. Her boss would really be okay with that. Looking down at Bai He she saw a smile on the child’s face. Clearly, she was worried about burdening her aunt’s work, she had almost been in tears when her babysitter didn’t show up. She was so smart for her age and tried to keep everything clean and tidy around her. No doubt worried that she would have to leave her aunt like she did her mother.
Of course that would never happen, Phoenix was determined to keep her little niece safe and cared for. Seeing her boss express such adoration for the cub filled her heart with warmth and love. Scarlet truly was a gift from heaven if this was how she treated Phoenix and her niece. She had to hold back her tears as she took Bai He into her arms.
“Can you sit at a table while your auntie works?” Phoenix asked with a smile.
Bai He grinned a wide smile, the gap in her teeth showing proudly as she nodded. Ever the silent child she didn’t say a word but let her emotions be shown freely. With the approval from her niece Phoenix lifted her up and set her down at a table where she could keep an eye on her as her boss came running back out with a wide smile on her face.
“And here you go darlin,” She grinned setting down a stack of paper and a brand-new pack of crayons a proud smile adorning her face.
Bai He looked at the spread before her and gently picked up a single crayon with a smile. Her tail wagged as she started to silently color a concentrated look on her face. Once she made sure her niece was taken care of Phoenix turned to leave for the breakroom where she would change into her work clothes. Of course, she sped through it so she could get back to watching Bai He.
>>><<<
Wukong glared at the man in front of him with anger. He dared to trespass on his territory with such pompous arrogance. The demon before him begged to be released but was only dragged away by Azure who had come looking for the very demon who had escaped his own turf. If not for his old friend wanting information from him he would have totally ripped the demon to shreds.
“Wukong, are you alright?” Macaque asked as he pressed himself against his mate’s back. With his taller form he cuddled his mate and could both feel and see his body relaxing.
“I’m fine,” Wukong growled angrily, he wanted to break something, destroy something but he had to push those thoughts away for now.
“How about we get you some peach sorbet, your favorite~” Macaque purred and grinned as his mate looked up at him, nodding in agreement.
“Yes, I think that would be acceptable,” Wukong agreed, that was just what he needed. Besides ripping someone’s head off, some peach sorbet would be delicious right about now.
With a single command his men left without a word. Sun Wukong was feared all over by not only his enemies but also his own subornments. Everyone knew not to deny him or go against his orders as it would only result in pain and suffering. With a sigh he summoned his nimbus for him and Macaque to ride over to Scarlet’s café where they liked to hang out.
The whole ride Macaque was cuddled up to him taking his mind off of the mountain of paperwork that he had to do. It wasn’t just the damned demons that entered his territory that had ticked him off, it was also the neighboring mafia groups that were snooping around and the paperwork that he absolutely hated doing. By the time that they reached the café he had calmed down to a moderate level and was calm enough to interact with other people.
Luckily, they had picked a time where the café was almost empty. The only patron seemed to be a young monkey cub who was coloring on paper. Their eyes spotted her and the two grinned, it would be nice to have cubs of their own, they had both expressed interest in having a lot of cubs to take care of and love.
Their smiles soon turned to frowns, however, when they realized she was sitting at a table alone. Macaque could hear Scarlet was in the kitchen while her only employee Phoenix was in the bathroom cleaning. He was the first to approach her kneeling to her level when she looked at him curiously.
“Hey there little one, what are you doing out here alone?” He asked with a warm smile, Wukong soon walking over to squat beside him.
The little cub looked up at him and tilted her head. She didn’t say anything as her eyes slowly turned to look at his ears. Her eyes widened and she reached her little hand out to touch it, Macaque flicked his ear as a smile covered his face. He let her gently touch his ear in between her little hands. She was so cute.
“She is so cute,” Wukong muttered before turning his head to her drawings.
Each drawing was of three people. Two older monkey demons and a little one. His eyes glanced at the monkey demon drawn with splotches of red on her head, it reminded him of… he heard a screech as Bai He was suddenly pulled into the arms of a protective monkey demoness. Harsh eyes glared at the two as she was cuddled into Phoenix’s chest.
“Excuse me, what are you doing with my cub?” Her eyes flared as she glared at the two smaller monkey demons with a fierce protectiveness.
“My apologies, the little one was alone, and we got curious. I realize that we must have overstepped some bounds,” Macaque explained with a short bow.
Phoenix didn’t back down growling slightly. Now normally this would irritate the two however, they knew that a mother was usually very protective over their cub. And it appeared the cute waitress was no exception, with her fur raised, her face twisted into a scowl and the cub protectively held against her chest.
“Sorry, sorry. We’ll back off,” Wukong said raising his hands up in defense taking a few steps back. Honestly the look didn’t even irritate him seeing it on her face, it was kind of hot seeing her so angry.
Once the two had taken enough steps away from the two Phoenix finally settled down. She still held a glare but was willing to place the cub back down in her seat. The cub chirped as she simply picked up a crayon and continued to draw as if nothing happened. She gave the two a cute wave before focusing solely on her drawing.
“Finished the cake~!” Scarlet called as she walked out into the room with a beautiful chocolate cake in her hands only to freeze when she saw the scowl on Phoenix’s face.
The tension could be cut with a knife solely from Phoenix’s end. She didn’t say anything as she settled into grooming Bai He’s fur clearly not willing to part from her. Scar didn’t know what to do at first until she looked at the clock, it was time to send her home anyways. Might as well…
“So could we order something?” Wukong asked, his question pointed towards the brunette.
“Of course,” Pheonix said a fake smile on her face, as she took a pad from her pocket.
Scarlet wanted to say something but as the two monkey demons sat down at a table several places away from the cub, she knew it wouldn’t be a wise decision. Not only did Phoenix clearly wish to make sure they stayed away from her cub but the Monkey King Sun Wukong had specifically requested her. Gulping to herself she took a few steps back into the kitchen to hopefully avoid any fights that may arise. She couldn’t help but keep looking out the door to check on them and make sure Bai He was safe but she didn’t dare interfere.
“Now what would you like?” Phoenix asked, strategically placing her body between the monkey demons in front of her and Bai He who was cheerfully coloring.
“Two peach sorbets, and a side of you~,” Wukong purred out the last word only to receive a glare, he couldn’t help but chuckle.
“Two peach sorbets coming right up,” She huffed, puffing out her cheeks as she turned and walked away.
Their eyes watched the way her hips swayed for a moment before they turned back to each other. She was hot with that protective look in her eye, ready to pounce on the threat to her cub. Wukong didn’t even realize how his tail was thumping against the floor, and while Macaque did he didn’t mention anything about it sense his own tail was thumping as well.
This was going to be fun~

Phoenixeclipse College AU Pt 3
Park Trip
Teasing Phoenix was just so easy, how could they reject such an opportunity. The way she gets flustered was too cute~ A visit to the park wouldn’t be too bad either.
‘Phoenix, you need to be careful with those two,’ Scarlet tried to warn her, not with words but written on paper.
The note was on a small pink sheet of paper. Phoenix lifted the paper up and stared at it before raising a brow at the nervous café owner. Scarlet was standing in front of her incredibly nervous as she bit her lip and shuffled slightly on her feet.
Being as she was handed a note Phoenix thought back to the two monkey demons in the other room. She glanced over at them to see them talking about something that she didn’t really care about. As long as they stayed away from her niece then she really didn’t care about either of them. Quickly she wrote a note back. ‘Why?’
Scarlet’s eyes widened when she read the note and quickly scribbled a note back furiously. ‘Because they are dangerous, really dangerous,’ She wrote in big fearful letters. Phoenix just huffed in amusement clearly not taking what Scarlet was saying very seriously. Before the red head could get another word in she was handed the paper as Phoenix began preparing the food.
She tried to say something several more times but failed each time. As Phoenix didn’t seem to believe the words she was being told. For someone so cautious she could be really dense when she got stubborn.
>>><<<
Wukong grinned as Phoenix set the sorbet in front of him. It was a large bowl of peach flavored sorbet with freshly sliced peaches decorating the top. Nothing like how Scarlet prepared it, no it looked way more appetizing like this. He licked his lips before digging in a cheerful grin spread across his face.
“Is there anything else I can get for you folks?” Phoenix asked, the glare she wore earlier was still hidden behind the fake customer service smile she wore.
“Just your number, but~ you already said no to that,” Macaque said while sending a smirk to the unamused woman in front of him.
“Anything that I am willing to give?” She asked, her smile tighter this time.
“A pretty smile, for your pretty face?” Macaque offered with a smirk.
Phoenix frowned as her brow arched. She had been smiling but it was a fake smile, almost anyone would be able to tell that will just a single glance. Which meant that even the two monkey demons in front of her could tell.
“Nothing that you are willing to give,” Wukong spoke up from his desert before he gently took her hand and placed a gentle kiss onto it as he sent her a wink.
Phoenix didn’t even have time to glare as her face flustered immediately. Her jaw dropped as she tried to form a sentence. When the monkey demons chuckled at her she ripped her hand away and stormed off. Her hips swaying in the short skirt that she wore.
“That was just precious,” Macaque chuckled trying to hold back his laughter.
She was honestly precious, protective over her cub and so easily flustered. The two monkey demons ate their sorbet happily, even though she clearly didn’t want to see them, she had still taken extra care of making the bowls look delicious. The cold dessert is just what was needed on such a warm day.
“Just 15 more minutes and then we can go to the park. Would you like that dear?” Macaque couldn’t help but overhear Phoenix talking to the cub.
It was such a domestic sight, with her bent over to pat the girl’s head gently. The girl pressed her head into her hand with a chirp as she nodded in understanding. Phoenix cooed lightly before heading over to the kitchen.
Macaque let out a low hum, so this was the end of her shift. Interesting. He didn’t know if it was the regular end of her shift however the information was welcome non the less, not that he would tell anyone about it. He decided to focus his attention back on Wukong only to see him looking at where she had gone. Oh. He was intrigued too.
He shook off the feeling that started to swell in his mind. He really didn’t want to think like that, he wasn’t sure what it was about, but he didn’t want to deal with it. Or maybe he did, he wasn’t sure. Whatever the feeling was he would deal with it… Had it been 15 minutes already?
Phoenix was back in the dining area; her hair was loose around her shoulders, and she was wearing casual clothing. A large baggy shirt, sweatpants and boots. She walked over to Bai He and picked her up with a cheerful grin.
Wukong kept his gaze on the two as Phoenix expertly picked up Bai He with a warm smile. She said a few things to the girl as she wrapped her tiny arms around her neck. It was so cute and so domestic. The two barely registered the old doorbell ring as Phoenix walked out of the building, her tail swaying side to side as she walked away.
Neither seemed to notice how they were rather quickly followed closely behind by the two monkey demons who didn’t stray too far behind. Macaque tried to tell himself he was just curious, that’s all it was. Besides she said she was going to the park, it’s not like they were following her home. He looked over at his mate who was staring at the two ahead of them with wide eyes that were almost awestruck.
The evening air was warm but not hot with a gentle breeze flowing over the city. A breeze blew through Phoenix’s hair gently pushing it to her back, the red roses in her hair seemed to glow under the evening sun. She was absolutely stunning; a soft melody soon began to leave her lips as she walked on the path towards the park.
Soft chirps left Bai He as she seemed to try and sing along with her ‘mother.’ It was so cute, she would make for their perfect cub~. She wouldn’t be alone for long, Phoenix already made a good mother a few more wouldn’t… what was he thinking? Wukong was the one who was thinking this time. His feet stopped immediately as he stared at the two ahead of them in shock. His stopping caught his mate’s attention.
“You alright?” Macaque asked, not appearing to be too worried.
What were they doing? Sure, they had stalked people before, but it was people who owed them money or people who weren’t supposed to be in their part of the city. Phoenix hadn’t done anything wrong and was a normal civilian. They didn’t actually like her… did they?
“… No. Yes… I don’t know. Why are we following her? I don’t get it, we don’t actually like her do we?” Wukong asked looking up at Macaque, worried that he was the only one who felt like this. All of his worries went away when he saw the smile that covered Macaque’s face.
“And here I thought, I was the only one worried about it. Um, I really don’t know. That’s probably why we’re watching her to see if we do like her,” Macaque said after a moment, his hand to his chin as he thought about it.
Yes, that made sense. Wukong nodded, that made perfect sense. All they had to do was watch her for a while to see if they liked her. They were just naturally trying to figure out what was going on… Wukong’s thoughts were cut short when he looked forward to see Phoenix sitting on a ground with Bai He. Playing like a dotting mother.
When did they get to the park? When did they start moving again? Those were the questions that should have been running through his head, not… why did she look so cute!? Phoenix sat there on the ground, Bai He right next to her, her hair fell down and surrounded her on the ground. The way her eyes seemed to shine with joy as the sun hit them just right, she looked absolutely ethereal. Even with the baggy shirt and sweatpants that hid her curves… no especially with the baggy clothes that hid her curves from unwanted stares.
“Bai He, do you want to make a sandcastle? There’s a sand box over there,” Phoenix muttered to the cub who looked at her and shook her head, scooting to cuddle into her lap instead.
Macaque held his heart pound in his chest, it was so cute~! He turned to his mate who was also staring at the sight in awe. Quickly he shook the thoughts out of his head, they needed to think this through. She was a good mother who was clearly adored by her cub but where was the father? The thought hit him like a ton of bricks, how did it not cross his mind that she was very clearly already taken.
Just as he was about to voice his concerns, he noticed Wukong was gone. He looked to and fro until he noticed a golden butterfly fly around the two sitting there. Macaque could feel his nerves skyrocket. What was he thinking!? Quickly he fell into his shadow and followed behind his mate trying to figure out what he was thinking. This was…
“Deep in the eye of the mountain below~ Keep careful watch on my sister’s soul, and should the sky be filled with fire and smoke. Keep watching over the Mountain Sons,” Phoenix sang gently, her voice calm as she picked up the cub into her arms, holding her close to her chest.
A soft snore left Bai He’s lips, as she cuddled into her mother’s chest. Phoenix’s words soon turning to a soft humming as she cradled the girl in her arms. Noticing the butterfly that landed onto her cub she couldn’t help but chuckle.
“You really do attract all kinds of attention,” She muttered placing a small kiss on the girl’s head.
She stood up with a smile, as she prepared to head back home. It didn’t take long before she was walking into a rather poor side of town. One that not many people liked to enter. At first the two following her frowned unsure of what she was doing, until she walked up to an old house that clearly needed some repairs.
It was only when she took the key out of her pocket that they seemed to realize exactly what was going on. This was her house!? It was so- broken. A little part of their hearts cracked; this is where Bai He was living? This is where the girl who had captivated them was living? No, they couldn’t have that! Their little cub clearly deserved more, if she had a mate that couldn’t provide then they would just have to take the reins themselves. It wasn’t as if some low-class demon could stand a chance against them anyways.

City Noise
Phoenixeclipse Pirate AU
Mk and Mei join Phoenix in her nest. In her half asleep state she thinks about her son’s dads.
The sun was fully set under the horizon. The city sounds quieter than the day but not silent. All of the sound bothered Phoenix as she stared at the wall with a sigh. This is why she had chosen a small village to live in. She never expected the small village she lived in to turn into this large city full of noise and lights.
Instead of sleeping she just stared at the wall. She was laying on her stomach with her beautiful wings spread out around her. Having taken off her glamour she was once again covered in fur, roses and feathers. It was easier to sleep without her glamour if she was honest with herself.
*Knock* *Knock*
With a slight groan she turned from facing the wall to facing the door as it opened. Light from the hallway flooded the room to reveal her son Xiaotian and Ao Lie’s granddaughter Ao Mei. The two had tears in their eyes and were sniffing as they tried to hide their tears. Immediately she pushed her blanket off and threw her legs over the side of the bed.
“Are you two okay?” She asked, her feet almost silent on the ground as she waked towards them.
The two five-year-olds shook their heads. They held their arms up and were quickly scooped up into her arms. With them in her arms she turned and walked back to her own nest. A large nest of pillows and blankets that she had collected for herself.
“Mama *Hick* I scawed,” Xiaotian sniffled into her neck.
“Shh, shh. It’s okay dear. Mama’s got you,” She said as she sat down on the nest.
Gently she set both children onto the bed with her. Quietly she curled around them her large wings unfurling until they lay on top of them like a large blanket. The sniffles soon stopped being replaced by soft snores. A smile found its way onto her face as she looked at the children.
“Sleep well darling,” She hummed as she laid her head on a fluffy pillow.
Once again, she tried to sleep but it didn’t come to her. For someone who could sleep through an absolute storm, getting to sleep had always been a problem for her. All she wanted was to sleep peacefully and calmly. Unfortunately, that sleep was not going to come to her tonight. With a sigh she laid there, exhausted but not getting any real sleep.
There was too much noise. Glancing down at her sleeping son she smiled because while he had the same six ears as his Baba he seemed to sleep soundlessly. She was just happy that he wasn’t fighting to get sleep like her. He was lucky in that fact.
He was a heavy sleeper like herself and his dad, but unlike her he was able to fall asleep almost instantly on most nights. She was slightly envious of this skill but couldn’t find herself to be mad about it. It did after all come with many uses.
Like right now, curled around the two small cubs she couldn’t help but smile. Both Mk and Mei were sound asleep in her arms. Her precious son and her self-proclaimed niece. With a soft yawn she snuggled up closer to them, while pulling them closer to her.
“Sleep well my dears. You’ll wake up in the morning full of energy and rowdy as ever I’m sure,” She muttered before giving a soft yawn.
They were her adorable children, even if one wasn’t related by blood, she hung around every other day often sleeping over at her house. In Phoenix’s mind both of the kids were hers. Ao Lie knew this and so did Mei’s parents. They didn’t seem to mind much knowing that she was in safe hands with the monkey demoness.
She let out a yawn as her eyes finally began to droop. It would have been nice if they were here too. The thought crossed her half-asleep mind. They would have loved their precious son. The thoughts of the last words she heard from them were far from her mind. All she could think about was she wished she wasn’t here alone right now. She wished her son could know his Dad and his Baba.
“They would have loved you,” She muttered closing her eyes.
They would have loved to see his first steps, to hear his first words. They would have loved to teach him all about the world, bring him on adventures and treat him to the treasures of the world. Tears slowly fell down her cheeks as she held in her own sniffles.
She didn’t realize that they had woken up Xiaotian until she felt his little hand on her cheek. Her eyes blinked back open as she looked down at him with his big wide eyes. She gently placed her much larger hand over his and leaned in to give him a gentle kiss on the forehead.
“Mama okay?” He asked his lip slightly quivering as he threatened to cry as well.
“It’s alright dear. Mama is okay,” She whispered hoping that she was believable.
“Mama suwe?” He narrowed his eyes causing her to let out a watery laugh.
“Yeah, mama is sure honey,” She muttered as she pulled him back into her chest.
Content that he thought she was telling the truth Xiaotian yawned falling back to sleep. It broke her heart knowing that she was lying to her son. But what was she supposed to say. She wasn’t okay, all she wanted was to crawl back into their arms. Doing that would be a death sentence to herself. They wanted her dead. She could never do that to not only herself but her son as well.
It was better this way. She tried to tell herself. Her son wasn’t in the constant danger that a pirate’s life was. He was safe and sound, out of sight of the public. He had a family that loved him, he had even claimed himself a sister who adored him as he adored her. This was her family, a family that she would fight tooth and nail to keep. If she had to give up on the monkey demons that didn’t want her then she would. All she had to do was let them go.
Letting her eyes drift close she sighed gently. She wished she could make the city noise be quiet for once. That would truly make her day. Who was she kidding, the only thing that would make her day would be.
“Hello sweet flame,” She could practically hear them whisper in her ear. She pushed the thoughts away quickly, knowing the thoughts would lead to nothing but painful memories.
There in her nest, curled up with her sweet cubs, she fell into a dream filled sleep surrounded by the night’s constant city noise.

The Sun and The Moon Meet
For my Phoenixeclipse Fic - Sun Wukong and The Six Eared Macaque's first meeting. Macaque goes to flower fruit mountain for the first time to meet this monkey king and the two fall in love at first sight. Sun Wukong ever one to make impulsive decisions makes one immediately upon seeing the pearly white monkey.
Hidden within the shadows, Macaque stepped onto the island for the first time his six ears listening to every slight movement and sound. A smirk covered his face as he made his way Into the lush forest. He had heard all about the Great Sun Wukong the Monkey King and had grown intrigued. Curiosity took hold and he found himself wandering towards flowerfruit mountain.
It took him a few weeks but he was used to travel so he didn’t mind. His violet eyes looked around, the shadows thickened as he passes each one to help cover his pearly white fur. He grinned as he watched a small group of cubs run beside him not noticing anything off. Of course they couldn’t see him, no one could he was a master of disguise and shadows after all.
With the boost in ego some of his caution left, not all of it but enough for him to stoll through the forest faster. His six ears picked up the sound of a village of no regular monkeys but rather demon monkeys. There. He was going to look there.
As he came upon the village he noticed everyone was sitting around a large table. There weren’t many demon monkeys as they were very rare normally but the group had about twenty there. His eyes suddenly stopped not on the regular demon monkeys but rather the celestial primate who was at the center of attention.
He froze his whole body went still and his eyes widened. Dark golden fur covered his body, glittering under the sun, a dark red heart shaped mask surrounded his eyes and more red come out from his bottom lip down his chin, and his eyes were a bright gold. He wore a simple robe but wore a crown on his head as he jumped around with joy. He was… absolutely stunning.
Macaque was so enthralled with the Monkey King he didn’t make sure his white fur wasn’t visible from within the Shadow and he froze when the other primate caught sight if him.
>>><<<
“My King! The feast has been prepared,” Ba shouted as he ran up to his king. He was one of the very few who attended this special occasion.
Sun Wukong grinned as he set his newly ‘obtained’ crown on his head. Showing off his fangs he bounded after the other monkey demon. This was the first feast he would have after he proclaimed himself as King and he wished for only his closest to be there for him.
The day was filled with joy and laughter as Sun Wukong bathed in the attention of the others. Of course he was at the center, its what he deserved after all. Spinning on his heel he laughed before something caught his eye. A flicker of white within a dark patch of shadows.
Turning to fully look he froze at what he saw. It was another Monkey demon, one he had never seen before. Dark violet eyes gazed back at him. His eyes were surrounded by a violet feathered mask and more violet came out from his bottom lip down his chin. Pearly white fur glittered before a thick layer of shadows was cast over it and the Monkey disappeared into the trees.
“Hey! Wait!” Sun Wukong called as he began to chase the other Monkey. He saw him, so beautiful with those wide eyes and a wide grin before he disappeared. He wouldn’t allow him to escape no! No one escaped him.
He chased after the Shadow, keeping his eyes on the streak of shadows and white. He smirked to himself when more of his fur became visible. He was worried and fearfully running no doubt he saw Wukongs magnificence and thought twice about picking a fight. But~ Wukong had already seen him and had no intention of letting him leave.
Jumping through the trees Wukong found his target and pounced. He ripped Macaque right out of his shadow and they tumbled to the ground where Wukong pinned him. Panting in excitement Wukong grinned widely only for his jaw to drop when he half laid on his target. On either side of his head were the most beautiful six lotus shaped ears he had ever seen.
“So pretty,” he muttered petting one which immediately made Macaque flustered.
>>><<<
Fuck! He wasn’t supposed to get caught. The minute he noticed Wukong staring he darted, what else was he supposed to do. He had a plan that immediately fell apart. He was going to watch his target not get caught by him!
Of course his new plan to escape didn’t go as planned either when he was tackled. His back hit the ground with a thud and his eyes widened in shock, awe and fear.
He watched as the Monkey was about to say something only for his jaw to drop and the words seemingly caught in his throat.
“So pretty,” he muttered bringing his hand up to pet one, causing shiver down his spine and his face to heat up.
“What are you doing!?” Macaque squealed trying to escape the grasp of the Monkey King. Of course it didn’t work.
The around his wrists only tightened as the Monkey King’s tail started to wag happily. He leaned in until they were nose to nose and laughed happily. “You are so pretty. I think I wanna keep you.”
Macaque blinked in shock staring up at the king who was happily looking at him with a wide grin. “What?”
“I said I’m going to keep you,” Sun Wukong repeated with a goofy smile his tail wagging excitedly.
“Keep me? I am no pet your majesty,” Macaque responded sarcastically before attempting to twist out of his hold.
He froze when Wukong leaned down and breathed in his ears. A shiver ran down his spine. He gulped before staring at the other monkey. There wasn’t much he could do anyways but he couldn’t figure out how to respond. He was speechless, fuck-
“Mmm~ of course not. I’ll keep you as a mate!” he responded his tail wagging as his eyes lit up.
“What!? You can’t just decide that! This is not how courtship goes at all!!” Macaque shouted his face and ears now a scarlet red as he blushed.
This was so embarrassing. He should have listened to Iron Fan but no, he decided he wanted to meet the Monkey King so here he was ‘meeting’ the Monkey King.
“Oh~ But we are demons and as a demon I take what I want and I want you~” He giggled his tail wagging faster before beginning to thump on the ground.
“And if I reject?” His words caught in his throat.
“You won’t, I can smell your heat and your want from here? Isn’t that why you came here? So you could claim THE SUN WUKONG THE MONKEY KING, for yourself~” he leaned closer breath on the moon monkey’s face as he looked at his new ‘mate’ lustfully.
“I-I…”
“You are so cute~ And you came at the perfect time too. Unless you don’t want me to mate with you,” Wukong teased, and Macaque blushed harder at the direct words.
This wasn’t how this was supposed to work not at all! He didn’t think this through, his plan had gone off the rails, his plans never fail! Of course the first time was with something like this. He couldn't stop the heat in his cheeks and it was infuriating.
He was about to retort something, anything when Sun Wukong pushed himself up and pulled Macaque with him. A cheerful smile across his face as he practically dragged the other all the way back to the crowd of people.
"I have an announcement to make! I have chosen my mate!"
"WHAT!?" His four generals shouted in unison with shock.
Macaque's ears rung and his head spun. He didn't know what to say or really do for that matter. His ears shot up and he relaxed at the future that the wind blew through his ears. Promises of love, trust and devotion. The future was never set in stone but this was one that he was willing to follow if it meant he could have this to himself.
He was a selfish demon after all and had no reason to reject such a powerful and handsome mate for himself.
"We have a queen!?" One shouted.
"Don't be rediculous, he shall be my king!"
"We have two kings!" One of them shouted and Macaque felt his heart swell with pride. He just became a king in the matter of moments.
>>><<<
For those who want to ask why Sun Wukong chose Macaque so fast- He's impulsive. That is all. Wait. And selfish. THAT is all. Good day and enjoy.
