Look at that transformation 😍😍
My little plant was so sad and shriveled, limp, losing all color... and now it looks beautiful!!
Give your plants a little TLC today and give them a boost.

The box is happy ~~ I’m telling you guys, this method works. Sometimes plants just refuse to flourish no matter what you do, and maybe just sticking them in a box will fix it. Also used it to help my aluminum plant (Pilea cadierei) regenerate after I aggressively pruned it for propagation, and the new branches are looking beautiful! Finally put my poor Calathea ornata in the box. It appears to be sprouting a new spike, which would be surprising given that I’ve been totally expecting it to die on me. Guess we’ll see what happens!

This is my mini greenhouse. Some of my plants just don’t grow very well in my room — so putting them in a Tupperware container raises the humidity and filters some of the sunshine coming through my window so it’s not so harsh. And it seems to do really well for some plants! Also functions as the ICU unit for my orchid while it’s regrowing roots. Since lots of the roots were rotten, I trimmed most of them off, and so now it loses water through transpiration faster than it can take water in. Put it in the humid container, and it grows happily!

How I protect delicate plants when I’m going home for two weeks — keeps it humid, prevents the soil from drying out too fast. Time to go home!!

Velvet Leaf Bronze Micans Philodendron (Philodendron scandens f. micans) getting a good soak in the sink
I’ve been so bad at watering my plants... they’re so spread out over my apartment and none are right at eyesight, I lose track of the time. I need to get a paper calendar and keep track of when I actually water them so it doesn’t get so out of hand

My Brazil Philodendron is wild! I’ve had to wrap the vines around the bar three times(!!) to keep it under control.
