"Have you ever heard this one?"

"I have," Percival replied. "Though I have to admit that I'm not familiar with classical music, but I've heard it a few times before. Especially the beginning."

"Oh, you mean this part?" Peter said, then played the first few notes of the piece.

"Yes, that's it."

"Do you like it?"

Percival hummed to himself before answering back with a genuine smile.

"I love the way you interpret it too. I'm not a critic, but in my opinion that's the most favorite version I've ever listen to so far."

Peter's heart swelled with delight. He felt as if his whole world had brightened up when he heard Percival's comments.

"Would you like to listen to it again?"

"Aren't you tired?"

"I have to practice this piece anyway, so why not?"

Percival didn't object. He leaned back into the chair, both hands cupping a mug of warm tea on his lap.

"Whoever lives with you must be so lucky." Percival glanced at the piano, then Peter. "Must feels like heaven, to be able to hear this everyday."

Peter was tempted to respond to that remark, but this was already a heaven to him. This was enough.

Besides, he was afraid that his response might ruin this moment they were having.

So he kept himself silent, and let the sound of music buried his unspoken wish back inside the deepest part of his mind.

"You could be that lucky person, you know?"

So Peter began playing for the third, fourth, fifth or more times, while he let his mind fabricated all the possible comments he could get if he was here.

Remembering Ladder 118 shown here in this iconic picture as it crossed the Brooklyn Bridge — not knowing that it would be the fire truck's last run. They did not die a few minutes later as most posts suggest, instead after crossing the bridge, Ladder 118 pulled into the doomed Marriott World Trade Center hotel. The six firefighters ran up the stairs and helped countless panicked guests escape.

Bobby Graff, a mechanic at the hotel, was quoted saying: “They knew what was going on, and they went down with their ship. They weren’t going to leave until everyone got out. They must have saved a couple hundred people that day. I know they saved my life.”

Ultimately, over 900 guests were saved that day. However, when the Twin Towers finally collapsed, the hotel went down with them. So did hundreds of firefighters, including the six members on Ladder 118.
