This is so random but can you explain the petach tikva lore? Why do I see jokes about it not existing or being a mystery? I want to know the backstory!

You'd have to ask someone else for the actual lore of why the joke exists (passing this on to israblr!) but it's now a very common inside joke between Israelis that it doesn't exist. I think mostly because it's a really small town that people barely think about so people just started saying it doesn't exist

Between my friends specifically we started making jokes that Petach Tikva is the opening to the fae realm and that's why it doesn't exist. There's a lot of jokes that it's a supernatural place which is why I made my whole pitch of a gravity falls type show set there because the jokes are already there

Also, did you know this isn't exclusive to Petach Tikva? There's a whole list of other places that have jokes that they don't exist. Including the entire country of Finland!

The person doing my interview? She just finished her service a month ago, and was called for reserve service. She's an environmentalist, and she bought her teammates multi-use mugs so they stop throwing away the dispensable ones

Also when I got out there were hundreds of religious guys. Their teacher, who came with them, explained that they decided to enlist the whole grade to the Netzach Yehuda brigades because of the war

Nonono you all got it wrong, Petach Tikva doesn't exist, that's true, but the houses are still there - it's a government experiment, you see.

This is incorrect as this is Israel note spelling is not Isreal

This is probably what you mean by isnotreal, which officially is known as Petah Tikvah. Petah Tikvah is a non-existent city that many claim exists in Israel.
